Throughout the world millions recognize this present day as the consummation of the ages and God's grand finale with latter rain truth.

The Scriptures tell us that the Spirit of Truth is promised as our heritage to guide us into all truth and to show us things to come.

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:13-15

The deep things of God are known only to Him, but are revealed to us through His Spirit.

That is the promise of 1 Corinthians 2. Therefore, it is our expectation to witness an unprecedented outpouring of His Spirit and unfolding last day mysteries that will perfect the Bride and empower the Sons of the Kingdom.

Mere human knowledge is not sufficient to bring in the great harvest. We must be endowed with God's supernatural provision that is clearly promised for this hour. To do so, every saint of God must come to the realization that Christ is "all in all."

He is Light; He is the Way, Truth, Life; He is the Resurrection; He is Wisdom; He is Righteousness; He is Goodness; He is Understanding; He is Alpha and Omega; He is the Beginning and the End; He is All in All.

To merely acknowledge these as doctrinal truth is not sufficient. They must become experiential reality through personal encounters with the Living Christ. The Lord is standing at the door knocking with a personal invitation for profound fellowship and the unveiling of latter rain revelation. For those who will forsake all else to dine with Him, this will be an age of greater glory and personal transformation into His very image.

Soaring with Him

Indisputably, our great desire is to soar in the Spirit and obtain revelations of God's nature, power, strategy, and insight. However, to best accommodate this great privilege, we must be firmly "rooted and grounded" in Him. According to the Holy Spirit's admonition spoken to me while in Canada, "Go deep in order to go high!"

WE MUST BE:

1. Rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17).
2. Rooted and grounded in faith (Colossians 1:23).
3. Rooted and grounded in truth (2 Timothy 3:15).

I cannot overemphasize the importance of these three foundations in order for us to be trusted with the Lord's secrets. We are living in a generation privileged to be endowed with the Spirit of Revelation leading us into comprehension of the mysteries of the Kingdom. To facilitate this in us, we must be established in truth, faith, and love to properly understand and appropriate His heart.

The more firmly we are grounded, the more capable we become to penetrate Heaven by the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation and embrace insight with understanding.

The pursuit of truth will lead us to places in the Spirit yielding the fruit of righteousness and power. The quest for knowledge without truth can result in pride and arrogance.

A clear distinction between the two is essential for personal transformation and maturity. When we cultivate a love for truth, we will not be turned over to deluding influences that will characterize those who have rejected Christ in the last days (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11).

In the Spirit

Presently, many Believers are oppressed with feelings of hopelessness, fear, doubt, and other bondages which the enemy exploits. It is the Holy Spirit's desire to carry Believers above this realm, into the Spirit, where our blessings and provisions are discovered in Christ. In this higher realm, we embrace hope to displace hopelessness, and fear is overcome by faith.

This truth is evidenced in both the Old and New Testaments. On one occasion, the prophet Elisha boldly encountered the armies of the king of Aram without timidity or reservation. Conversely, his servant was battling issues of fear and doubt. That is, until he was carried above that realm to discover the more accurate spiritual perspective. God's governmental leader helped his servant above the soulish realm of anxiety and uncertainty by saying:

"'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' Then Elisha prayed and said, 'O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.' And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha" (2 Kings 6:16-17).

When the prophet prayed for his servant, the impartation of the anointing allowed the servant access to the realm of faith and supernatural vision. As a result, he was changed and his perspective radically transformed. The limited view this servant previously held is the only one his adversary, the devil, wanted him to comprehend.

Likewise, the enemy desires that we see only the seemingly insurmountable obstacles and difficulties that stand between us and our destiny. Therefore, when we walk by the Spirit, we will not carry out the deeds of our fallen nature.

In Elisha's servant, the above experience radically affected his life – his eyes were opened and he saw. In a similar way, the Holy Spirit desires that we carry this anointing that opens eyes and distinguishes between the deceptions of our adversary and the provision of our Redeemer.

Experientially comprehending our Source unleashes supernatural faith to live above this worldly realm and access the heavenly dimension.

Maria Woodworth-Etter

The Holy Spirit has made it profoundly clear to me that this powerful woman's ministry was a prototype or forerunner introduction to the mature sons and daughters of God. Visions and revelations seemed to be an integral part of Maria Woodworth-Etter's ministry. This realm of the Holy Spirit was experienced by both those who were saved and others who attended the meetings to ridicule and mock her ministry.

It is well documented that many saints who were bound by various forms of oppression and sickness were delivered through their supernatural encounter with the heavenly realm during these meetings.

In each meeting in which this dimension was opened, a reverential awe permeated the auditorium and forever changed each one touched. Many individuals who discovered that "open door" in her meetings made lifelong commitments to the Lord. It is reported that some actually received the gift of speaking other languages and were commissioned as missionaries to the nations.

Woodworth-Etter reported that prophetic utterances were given to young and old alike concerning future events, many of which took place within days or weeks. Others returned with supernatural knowledge and insight they had no way of knowing within themselves.

In each case, people were captured by the humility and contrition demonstrated in the lives of those who encountered God in this deeper spiritual arena. No one boasted or acted superficially; only reverence, contrition, and a life of consecration to God was evidenced. Even so, great joy also characterized this remarkable woman's life and ministry.

In one particular meeting held in St. Louis, Missouri, the people of the city were particularly harsh in their treatment of this precious sister and her ministry team. The meetings were attended by some of the most hardened characters in the city. In her journal, Maria Woodworth-Etter wrote: "Men stood on the seats with hats on, cigars and pipes in their mouths, coats off and sleeves rolled up...women wore dirty aprons...and bare armed...they would shoot off firecrackers and when we sang, they sang even louder and when we prayed, they clapped their hands and cheered. They carry pistols and clubs and were ready to kill us and tear down the tent."

However, the end of her story is quite different. The Lord faithfully heard the prayers of His devoted saints and responded by opening the Heavens and giving people visions of Heaven and Hell. Through the Holy Spirit, the people encountered a spiritual dimension.

The results were stunning, according to Woodworth-Etter: "The fear of God came upon the multitude. The sweat came on their faces and they stood as though in a trance; men began to take their pipes out of their mouths and their hats off. The women began to cover their bare necks and arms with aprons. They felt they stood naked and guilty before God. They began to get off the seats (from standing) and sit down but some fell and lay like dead."

Evidence of a tangible touch from the third Heaven was apparent and easily discerned. This was true both for those who were saved and those who were not. The fruit was visible through the people's responses and by its consistency with the Scriptures. Often it is recorded in Maria Woodworth-Etter's writings that sinners and saints alike would cry out in reverential fear when the heavenly dimension was opened to them.

Our Hope

A phenomenal opportunity to encounter and embrace our Heavenly Father is being given to the Church around the world today. It is one that must be welcomed and protected. With the dawning of this new day in Church History, the anointing of Heaven is disbursed in the spiritual atmosphere so those truly seeking Truth can lay hold of it and obtain great insight with understanding. As Sons of the Kingdom ask with sincerity for this deposit, it will be received. Our spiritual eyes will be illumined to see the Scriptures from Heaven's perspective, not merely man's.

The spiritual realities that are being birthed in the earth now will have no end. They will literally flow into the Millennial age and the coming manifestation of His Kingdom on the earth.

Though we do not know when those days will be fully revealed, we do know that the purposes now being birthed will advance directly into that age. We will begin to taste the good Word of God and the power of the age to come. Like the beloved disciple John in his notable revelations, we will be allowed to eat the open book containing the full manifestation of the Lord's redemptive plans and purposes. This will be the tasting of His Kingdom Word and a demonstration of Kingdom might, in order to wonderfully introduce the Lord Jesus in truth and power, to an entire generation.

It is my heart and ambition to encourage every Believer to pursue this God-given reality. "Sonship" is much more than a message, it is a relationship. The relationship of a son to his Father and the way to sonship is not by "doing" but by "becoming."

In a prophetic vision I find myself watching world events unfolding on a gigantic television screen.

This screen was enormous much like what is in the Dallas Cowboys football stadium. Suddenly, there was a huge, bright flash. I was shown a news flash and a Divine Messenger stated, "We interrupt this broadcast for this special news bulletin. 'Seekers Will Be Finders! And Finders Will Be Sought!'" In the realm of the Spirit there was great excitement at this announcement.

This is the most exciting time in world history to be alive; the entire world seems to be in chaos and confusion, and desperately they are seeking answers. This will prove to be the Church's finest hour; the Lord will release the much-needed wisdom as we seek HIM.

The world will beat a path to our door seeking the Light.

Without doubt, we find ourselves living in an extremely significant season, critical days, that demand our very best (see Romans 13:11-14). It is time to arise and shine (see Isaiah 60:1-8). Some things have been reserved for these end times; it's our honor as kings to search them out (see Proverbs 25:2).

We Are On Divine Assignment

God could have permitted any generation in history to be alive during these decisive days, however He chose us! We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to be alive. We are on Divine Assignment! Signs of the end times are unfolding about us daily (see Matthew 24). Prepare to behold the intervention of God (Isaiah 64:1-2)! Now is the time to seek the Lord with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:12-13 Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

In our day of secular skepticism, it is sad to see many today asking the same question posed in 2 Kings 3:11: "But Jehoshaphat said, 'Is there no prophet of the Lord here by whom we may inquire of the Lord?' One of the king of Israel's servants answered, 'Elisha son of Shaphat, who served Elijah, is here.'"

"Is there not a prophet in the land that we may inquire of him?" Many are posing the same question today! The answer is a resounding yes! The true prophets of God must arise and take their place. Sounding a true and trusted trumpet call awakening the warriors and calling for the army of God to arise (see Joel 2:1-3).

Words of Wisdom

God will so anoint your words that they will become as apples of gold in settings of silver (see Proverb 25:11). Your words will be extremely helpful and healing (see Proverbs 12:18). It is time to receive the tongue of a taught one, knowing how to reply to desperate people seeking guidance and advice (see Isaiah 50:4).

1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore!

May our heart's response be that recorded in Psalm 27:8, which states: "You have said, 'Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need].' My heart says to You, 'Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity...]'"

A Preview of Coming Events:

The Visit of the Queen of Sheba

1 Kings 10:1-10 The queen of Sheba heard of Solomon's fame, and she traveled to Jerusalem to test him with difficult questions. She brought with her a large group of attendants, as well as camels loaded with spices, jewels, and a large amount of gold. When she and Solomon met, she asked him all the questions that she could think of. He answered them all; there was nothing too difficult for him to explain.

The queen of Sheba heard Solomon's wisdom and saw the palace he had built. She saw the food that was served at his table, the living quarters for his officials, the organization of his palace staff and the uniforms they wore, the servants who waited on him at feasts, and the sacrifices he offered in the Temple. It left her breathless and amazed.

She said to King Solomon, "What I heard in my own country about you and your wisdom is true! But I couldn't believe it until I had come and seen it all for myself. But I didn't hear even half of it; your wisdom and wealth are much greater than what I was told. How fortunate are your wives! And how fortunate your servants, who are always in your presence and are privileged to hear your wise sayings!

"Praise the LORD your God! He has shown how pleased He is with you by making you king of Israel. Because His love for Israel is eternal, He has made you their king so that you can maintain law and justice."

She presented to King Solomon the gifts she had brought: almost five tons of gold and a very large amount of spices and jewels. The amount of spices she gave him was by far the greatest that he ever received at any time.

This is about to occur again. Political leaders from around the world will be coming to the true Church seeking wisdom and advice; we, too, must have the Word of the Lord that will leave them breathless and amazed. We are to be a city set high on a hill giving light (see Matthew 5:14).

Now is the time to draw near to the Lord, surrendering to HIM every area of our lives. These are the days of great conquest; we are called to be brave, bold, victorious overcomers in every way, every day.

Almost every prophetic person I know stated that 2012 will be "the best of times and the worst of times."

I think this has proven true, but I think it will be increasingly true with each passing year. We are entering the most challenging times in world history and the best time there has ever been to know and walk with the Lord. As I have said too many times to count, we are living in the times of Isaiah 60.

We are entering times when we must face ultimate issues in America and in every other nation. In Scripture, this is called "the Valley of Decision."

Everyone called to live on earth during these times must pass through this valley, but now is the time to resolve in our hearts what our decision will be – that we will never compromise the truth that we have been entrusted with and we will never deny the Lord who paid such a price for our salvation. If we remain true we cannot lose, and we are promised to see His glory.

As the Lord also said, as we do unto the least of His, we are doing it unto Him. Therefore, when any of His people are being targeted, we need to rise up and stand with them just as we would with Him. When we learn to do this as Christians, and the love we have for one another becomes known in this way, the world will see it and soon begin to see by this that Jesus was not only sent by the Father, but He is still here in His people.

When the devil knows that he cannot stop someone, he often gets behind them to push them too far. His first goal is to keep people from seeing the light of Christ, but once they do, he can still cause damage to their faith if he can push them to an extreme.

A ditch is on either side of the path of life. Basically, legalism is on one side and lawlessness on the other. The path of life is between these extremes. Many Christians spend their lives oscillating between these two ditches because of their tendency to overreact to mistakes or failures. The key word here is "overreact." If we have been in an extreme, some reaction is necessary, but the key here is not to overreact and therefore fall into the opposite extreme.

Obviously, we also have a problem waiting for the Lord.

There are many exhortations in Scripture to wait upon the Lord, and I don't know of a single one that says to hurry. Many, especially the zealous, often get burned from getting ahead of the Lord. The key is not to lose our zeal and become so hesitant that we are hard to get moving at all. A main reason why Jesus gave Peter the keys to the Kingdom was his ability to fall or make major mistakes but then get back up and keep going.

Proverbs 24:16 states, "A righteous man falls seven times, but rises again." Many seem to believe that the righteous cannot fall at all, but James assured us that "we all stumble in many ways" (see James 3:2). We all will make mistakes, but "the righteous" do not let those mistakes keep them down. I felt the Lord explained this to me that our failures do not displease Him as much as our getting back up after we have stumbled and continuing to fight on pleases Him.

As I have spent decades working with prophetically gifted people, one thing I began to see early was that those who are trusted with the greatest gifts and spiritual authority are those who sometimes make the biggest, and especially, the most embarrassing mistakes. They are humbled, and they do not quit, but learn from the mistakes and keep going. It seems like it is only after a big embarrassment that the Lord will trust them with greater revelation and authority. Some will wise up quickly to understand that God gives His grace to the humble, so they will gladly embrace the humility and keep on going.

I often hear people say that they would like to step out and try their gifts, but they don't want to fail because they don't want to hurt someone's faith. I've learned to interpret this to mean that they have so much pride, or insecurity, that they're too proud to risk embarrassment or too afraid to risk failure. In this way they trust who they are, or are not, more than they trust the Lord. If our stepping out and being wrong hurts someone's faith, then they have their faith wrongly placed anyway. They need to be disillusioned, which means to lose our illusions. It is an illusion to trust in men instead of the Lord.

Even so, neither do we want to fall into the ditch on the other side that would have us become presumptuous or callous with the gifts of God. As we are told in Proverbs 14:26, "In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge."

It is an awesome thing to be used to represent the King of kings, and we don't ever want to take for granted what a privilege and a responsibility this is. If we can stay between these extremes, we will do well.
