Clear Word to the Church

Recently I heard the Lord say, "I'm stirring the waters of intercession over this Body to bring forth new life and life in abundance, and I will pour out My Spirit on those who walk in obedience to My Word. Let no man say I am weak, for where two or more are gathered lo, I am with you" (Matthew18:20).

Women are going to come together as "midwives" in intercession and will travail till this birth takes place.

Midwives are typically women who offer care to childbearing women during pregnancy, labor and birth. They offer support, care and advice for the mother and family. The Church has been pregnant too long and her labor has been difficult, but the baby's head is crowning now and about to emerge into the glorious light of the Lord.

These midwives will deliver the children of promise. These children are the Isaacs coming forth, and they're coming to receive their long awaited birthright! All the blessings God gave Abraham were also given to his descendants. Isaac is the natural son of promise and we are Abraham's descendants according to faith (Hebrews 11:12).

What is Isaac's birthright? They are the blessings of Abraham's well at Beersheba.

Obedience is Key!

In Genesis 26:1, Isaac began a journey to Egypt because of a famine in the land, however the Lord appeared to him and said: "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you" (verse 2). In obedience, Isaac and Rebekah returned to the land of Gerar, to Abimelech king of the Philistines, where Abraham had dug three wells. Over a period of time, the Philistines had stopped them up with earth, which represents the demonic realm and earthly desires.

Isaac's herdsmen began to redig these three wells, calling them by the same name Abraham gave them. The herdsmen of Gerar and Isaac's herdsmen quarreled over the wells, claiming the water was theirs (Genesis 26:18). In the same way today, the Body of Christ has quarreled among themselves. Leaders were not willing to cross-pollinate and walk in love; they chose to walk in pride. Their sheep felt threatened and lived in fear instead of faith. The sheep literally feared man more than having the reverential fear and awe of God.

The Three Wells

First well – Esek means strife and contention because it made others jealous. The Philistine herdsmen quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen over the well.

Second well – Sitnah means accusation and hostility because the herdsmen quarreled to a greater extent to no avail.

Third well – Rehoboth means broad places and running water. This well was dug by Isaac's servants alone and they did not quarrel. They got a revelation of working together for a greater purpose. I believe they tapped into the promises God made Abraham and in the same way, we can tap into them today.

And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth because he said, "For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." Then he went up from there to Beersheba. And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake." So he built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord, and he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac's servants dug a well. Genesis 26:22-25

Beersheba

This place was called Beersheba because it was the well of the oath; it was where covenant was made. At Beersheba three important encounters took place between God and man. Here God appeared to Hagar (Genesis 21:17), Isaac (Genesis 26:23-33) and Jacob (Genesis 46:1-5).

Abimelech recognized the favor of God on Isaac's life. Therefore Abimelech wanted to make a covenant or oath with Isaac so that Isaac would not do them harm. When we are in covenant with God, even our enemies will recognize His blessings and they will fear our God.

Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the Heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. Genesis 22:17

The first two wells remained the same; born out of a spirit of jealousy, strife and accusation, and they could not change. I believe these two wells represent two previous wells of revival that got polluted by works of man. There were mighty moves of God with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but after a while, man wanted to own it and plugged up the well with human reasoning. Man's fleshly desire will always stop a move of God. The power of the Holy Spirit cannot be manufactured or manipulated. It can, however, be imitated and mocked; when this happens, the Holy Spirit departs and the wells are left dry and polluted by human waste.

A greater maturity was required of Isaac's herdsmen and a working together among the brethren. In the same way, I believe the Body of Christ must come together in unity in order to receive its spiritual inheritance. The Church has had opportunity to advance, but because of striving, contention, inability to reason with one another, and most importantly, not allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, the Church remained in bondage to man.

Now in this season, midwives are birthing the Isaac generation. There will be a unity like the Church has not experienced in past generations. There cannot be striving and accusation. Instead there will be agreement with the Father conceived in love.

The Repentant Church

The Church that has repented and is clean before the Lord is blessed. It is covered by the Blood of Jesus. The Church whose spirit has been renewed (Psalm 51) is a people of no guile like Nathaniel, and God imputes His righteousness to them. Righteousness is conforming to His thoughts, purpose and action (Romans 4:7-8), and God finds no fault in this Church (Psalm 32:1-2).

The Church must be continually before the Lord in prayer and intercession, allowing the Holy Spirit to pour water on the tares of its soul. Each time God reveals a need for repentance, the Church must repent with a whole heart. Then God considers them blessed!

Prayer and Intercession

Psalm 32:6-11 – this is where the CHURCH is headed in this two-year season! As the Church prays, their message will be heard through intercession. The promise is: the trials will not overflow the Church that is committed to God through intercession. He will raise up a standard against the enemy (Isaiah 59:19).

The standard is Jesus Christ; the anointed One (Psalm 32:6-7). Their praise and worship will bring deliverance for the Body. By making a full commitment to God, the Church will be led by the Holy Spirit of God (Psalm 32:8). God will speak to those who have understanding. The 200 sons of Issachar had understanding of the times and knew what Israel should do. Mature sons and daughters have learned how to bridle their tongues (Psalm 32:9). The wicked will know the woes of God, but the righteous shall know His mercy and loving-kindness (Psalm 32:10). The righteous shall rejoice and be glad in the Lord (Psalm 32:11).

Let's Embrace the Promise

It's time to embrace the promise God is extending to the Church. It's our job to offer the invitation. It's up to the Church to embrace it. The Church has a choice to make now: to receive the prayer warriors or reject them. The prayer warriors that are coming along now are women.

A general is called to lead, but he needs to lead the whole Body. Intercessors are prayer warriors, and most of them are women. It's going to take both men and women to be warriors. They are the ones who will take the high ground. The time to embrace this is now, and the choice is extended to the Church. The Church that embraces the women and allows them to come forth is the Church that will prosper and grow in number.

Midwives Travail

There's been a full frontal attack against women, but it's coming to an end. Midwives are travailing now and birthing this next generation. Let's embrace the midwives and this move of God in His Church. Let's join with the intercessors and cover them and allow the women to birth the Isaac generation.

Let's be like the two Hebrew midwives at the time Moses was born. They feared God, not the king of Egypt. They told the king that the Hebrew women delivered their babies before the midwife arrived, therefore the baby boys lived. God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and became very strong (Exodus 1:17-24).

This isn't about women, it's about a move of God and His releasing power and authority to a Body of Believers. Women are natural child-bearers; they birth babies every day. When intercessors come together in unity without striving and jockeying for position, powerful revelation takes place. Think of the power released when intercessors enter into the presence of God and experience "on earth as it is in Heaven."

Let us be a people who are willing to put our ambitions aside and be Kingdom minded. We can't allow the dirt of the past to fill our wells and prevent us from working together. Let's repent for our striving and accusations against our brothers and sisters in Christ and begin working with one another in unity, in Spirit and truth. By doing so we can redig Beersheba: the well of the oath from where the blessings flow. Let's do this together!

The Church can accept it or not!

Dear Dreaming Saints,

during worship, I heard the Lord begin to say,
"This is going to be a time where you thought you were lagging and did not have the strength to compete. But this will be a time where you finish strong in the next week. Next week you will find yourself energized; you'll find yourself moving in something you've not moved in. You'll find yourself going down paths you've never gone down before. Today, Heaven is coming into your atmosphere and you will be energized to accomplish what you couldn't accomplish earlier on this particular month!"

After this, I asked Phillip Martin to share what he saw early on Sunday morning:

This morning when I woke up there was a descending glory cloud and it was enfolded with lightning and thunder and all manner of fire demonstrations. And the Lord said,
"Focus on My Glory for this season." And as I focused on the Glory cloud the Lord began to say, "It is time for My people to dream again. To dream of their destiny, to dream of the turning of the nations, to dream of the dreams that begin to move the heart of the King from disobedience to obedience that establishes a right order in the earth, where it can align with the Glory cloud. Because the Glory cloud of this season is going to change the atmospheric structures and open Heaven in a way we have never seen it open before. It is a time to get our alignment with our dreams and our destiny in order so we can stand vertical in the season and the dispensations of the Glory. For this Glory is not like the previous Glory - this Glory demands an alignment of Heaven and earth so all that is prepared can be released and revealed."

I know that many felt defeated in various ways in the past season. I hear the Lord saying, "Dream again! That which you will experience in the next three months will be greater than what you experienced in the last season. Some of you have seen dreams scattered, but now I'm putting together a puzzle and I'm going to cause you to see something for your life that is greater than what you saw early on. Even though your puzzle was mixed up and the picture and vision of your destiny was stopped, dream again, and I will drop from Heaven, piece by piece, what is necessary for you to put together your future!"

As I shared on Sunday morning, I want to encourage each of you to read the book of Luke these next few weeks.

A Time of Cleansing: Flooding in Rome!

During our Pentecost Celebration at the Global Spheres Center in May, the Lord had me a unique word about flooding in Rome. The Spirit of God said,
"There will be an unusual flood that goes through Rome. When you see this flood know that I am cleansing the Church from its straying way. When Rome floods I will wash My people in a new way and they will rise up out of their legalistic shift that they took many years ago. They will come into a new power as first. When the flood comes through Rome, Antiochs all over the earth will rise again. I have shaken the mindset of the last seasons. Greece is a picture of the shaking. But now Rome and its accumulation will begin to be cleansed. As Rome is cleansed, you will see a healing sweep throughout the Catholic people. That wineskin that has captured generation after generation will no longer be able to hold its captives."

Earlier this month we received reports (and even pictures) of the flooding that swept through portions of that city. On Wednesday, November 14, Reuters News Service stated, "ROME, One of Rome's most historic bridges was closed on Wednesday, as the swollen Tiber River roared through the capital and flooded outlying neighbourhoods. The Tiber's muddied waters rose to fill some of the supporting arches of the Ponte Milvio, or Milvian Bridge, threatening to engulf a pedestrian walkway and submerging trees. The bridge, whose current version dates to 1850, marks the spot of a previous bridge where in 312 the emperor Constantine defeated his rival Maxentius in one of the most pivotal battles of ancient Roman history."

Intro by Paul Keith Davis:

One of the prophetic words that we and many other ministries have released concerns this next young generation and their radical desperation for God. Wanda and I are privileged to have several of these young champions in our ministry. One of them is my daughter, Natalie Victoria Davis. The Holy Spirit has had Natalie on an accelerated path during the last several years. Her hunger for the Lord is contagious and her foundation of understanding transcends her years. She has devoured the message that I have brought along with understanding the lives of the Revivalist in the previous generation and their messages. She is now starting to follow in her father's footsteps by sharing many of those Kingdom principles in written form. I hope this article concerning The Bride of Christ will be a blessing to you.

Recently I heard a song that deeply touched my spirit. The words of the song, speaking of the Bride of Christ, were awe-inspiring:
"This is the story of the Son of God hanging on a cross for me, BUT it ends with a bride and groom and a wedding by a glassy sea. Oh death, where is your sting? 'Cause I'll be there singing Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord."

What love the Lord demonstrated by laying down His life for us, enduring the beatings and mocking of the people, and bearing the wrath of God that we deserve. The Lord will receive His reward; He will be presented with a Bride that has been made ready for the marriage of the Lamb.

The preparation of the Bride of Christ has been heavy on my heart lately. What does she look like? What will it take for her to rise up and come into her fullness, to become the image of the Almighty? Here are a few truths the Holy Spirit has quickened to me in this regard.

Discovering Our Identity In Christ

Our identity is Christ.

He is what we are called to be: His ways, thoughts, desires, and actions. We are to become like Him; He is our inheritance. As it says in Galatians 2:20:

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me."

We live so that the Lord can use us as living vessels that manifest His Kingdom on earth. The Lord's desire is that we do the greater works promised in John 14:12. If we could come to the realization of the power we have in Him, we would never fall into the lies of the enemy.

The enemy sees what we will be when we step into the fullness of the Lord, and he will try and delay that as long as we allow him to. It is time for us to see as Jesus sees, and allow Him to step into us.

We Must Allow the Lord To Cleanse Us

We can do that in part by fellowship with Him through extended times of communion. Sometimes sacrificing our time for Him is a big part. By limiting media an hour so we can spend that hour in His Word and in prayer produces great dividends.

2 Timothy 2:21 states, "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

How does a husband get to know his wife? By taking time away from the things around him and spending it with her to get to know her heart, her desires, and her passions. In the same way, our intimacy with the Lord must increase.

The hour has come when things are going to get very dark, but we must be strong in the Lord so that nothing around us will shake us, but that we, the Bride of Christ, will rise up and shine as it says in Isaiah 60:1-2. The Lord needs a remnant of His people who will just be who we are in Him and allow Him to use us. It is time for us to step aside and let God step in.

We Must Separate Ourselves From the Spirit of This World

The Bride of Christ will be set apart from this world and become the light of the world. It is not about what we say or preach, it is about how much of Christ is formed in us. When you carry a light into a dark room, that light overcomes the darkness and allows you to see.

It is time for the Church to overcome the darkness covering the world. The Lord is greater than all darkness put together, so imagine how bright things would be if we as the Body of Christ began to shine like Him. We must first seek the face of the Lord, to see Him and become radiant.

Become Sensitive To His Voice

My prayer each day is that I would hear His voice like I hear my own natural father speaking to me. We need to know when He speaks, to know His thoughts and desires. We must love the things He loves and hate the things He hates. Proverbs 6:16-19 says:

"There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, a false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers."

The Body of Christ Must Be the Ones Who Love Those Who Are Still In Darkness

I once heard someone say, "Why are we surprised when sinners sin?" Of course they are going to sin, because they do not know Christ and have the relationship with the Lord which creates a different nature from the spirit of this world.

Society today thinks of the Church as a critical and judgmental people. It is not our place to judge those around us; it is our job to love them through it as it says in Romans 2. We are to see them as the Lord sees them; to see what they are called to be, not how they are living at the time. When I was living in darkness, my family and friends loved me through it.

They accepted me with open arms when I was ready to let go of all the sin I was living in. They helped me through the pain and lies I was living in. That is what the Bride of Christ is called to do: to love our brothers and sisters in Christ as they are, and help them come into their identity in Christ.

When a bride walks into the room on her wedding day, the people gathered together gaze at her beauty in awe, the bride shining with love as if she was glowing knowing that her beloved awaits her at the end of the aisle. That is what the Bride of Christ is to be. She will be radiant with God's glory, stepping into a room shining brightly.

With every step she takes the atmosphere changes and darkness flees. As people say about a girl in love, "She glows as though she is in love," we are to be so in love with Jesus that we shine from the light that has formed in us.

Characteristics of the Bride of Christ

When people ask what the Bride of Christ look likes, I think of many characteristics.

1. My perspective of the Bride is that we will provide for the needs of those around us. Whether it is healing, deliverance, or discipleship, we are to provide for every need.

2. The Body of Christ must be living testimonies of the spoken Word.

3. A remnant of people who are full of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness, as it is written in Galatians 5:22.

4. We are to be overcomers. The Bride will be victorious over the things of this world.

5. When I think of the Bride of Christ, I think of a warrior who is covered in courage and boldness. Who trembles at nothing, who laughs at fear, a Bride that is pure and spotless, and who walks in humility!

The Attributes of the Sons of the Kingdom

When asked about the Sons of the Kingdom, I think of these attributes:

1. The Sons of God are to be anointed with the seven spirits of God as it says in Isaiah 11:2: "And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah."

2. Our inheritance is to become a Son of the Kingdom. Romans 8:14-15 declares, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For ye received not the Spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

It is time to cry out to our Abba, Father, for Him to pour out His presence upon us. Oh what the day will look like when the Body of Christ steps into the fullness of God; what light will begin to shine. It is the heart of the Lord to see His Bride being a reflection of Him.

He does not desire for us to live in fear, hopelessness, or sickness. He defeated those things when He overcame the grave. What is it going take for us to apprehend the victory that is ours? We are the victorious ones; we are to live with the Kingdom mindset here on earth as it is in Heaven. The Lord wants us to have that now, not wait until we get to Heaven. Imagine the harvest we will bring in just by becoming the Bride of Christ. Awake, awake O Bride.

When I Think of the Marriage Between the Bride and Bridegroom I think of a Marriage Between a Husband and Wife

The beauty in a marriage is so powerful. The bride on her wedding day making herself ready for her beloved, dressed in pure white and jewels. She is ready to become one with her beloved. The joining together of a man and woman before God and all to see; making covenant with each other. Having one heart, one life; the power of two joining together in union as one; the wife receiving the name of her beloved. She will stand strong with Him, trusting in Him.

Ephesians 5:22-30 declares, "Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the Church, His Body, and is Himself its Savior. Now as the Church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her, that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, so that He might present the Church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of His Body."

One Body, One Flesh

Just as the husband and wife are to be of one flesh, so is the Bride to be one flesh with Christ. As Paul Keith says, "Bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh." The beauty of the lasting love between a husband and wife is such a reflection of the perfect love Christ has for His Bride. There is no greater love story than on the day Jesus died for us and rose again so that we could have a life free from sin, sickness, death, regret, shame, hopelessness, and freedom from the lies of the enemy.

He loves us so much that He took it all for us so that we could have a life of freedom. In Him we are free; no matter how hard things get or how dark the world may be, He is our safe haven. We are free in Him, and there is no darkness in all the earth that comes near to how great He is.

Conclusion

It is my prayer and hope that I will live a life that is pleasing to Him. That I am able to complete every purpose He has for me. To be made ready as His Bride. To know who I am in Christ, to know my position and to stand strong in it. To walk in strength and courage; to laugh at fear; to be a reflection of His character, power, image, and His love. To just BE; to be a living vessel so that His Kingdom can be manifested through me, and to know Him through communion and intimacy with Him!

How my heart longs for the day to come that is explained in Revelation 19:7: "Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready."

But I know the Lord has a harvest to receive and a Bride to be made ready. It is our destiny to see that harvest brought in, so that Christ will receive the full reward for His sufferings. He will have it; He will have His Bride that is pure and spotless. Awake, awake O Bride.
