The dream “The horsewomen and the horse”

Some weeks ago I had a dream, where I saw a horsewomen, that was grooming her horse to make it ready for a ride.
As the horse was rightly equipped for the ride, the horse women tried to get on the saddle, that was placed on the horse.

Everything was looking nice on the horse but at the moment as the horsewomen tried to get on the horse, it began to buckle and then to trodden out, so that the rider was not able to get on the horse.

I could see, that she was really sad about this circumstance but then I saw past situations of the horse, where it was not nicely treated by the horsewomen. Then I said to her, that she has to ask for forgiveness by not treating the horse in the past rightly.
As she did, the horse went calm and totally peaceful.

Restoration of the fence of your God given sphere

As I woke up, I knew, that God wanted to speak by the dream about our God given spiritual sphere of authority and the connected angelic presence.

Two examples of God’s given angels into a sphere

For example in Jacobs time as he was in preparation to meet his brother Esau who wanted to kill him, God send a double camp of angels called “Mahanajim”, to encourage him to move forward without fear to meet his brother (see Genesis 32:1-4).

Genesis 32:1-4:
1 Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him.
2 When Jacob saw them, he said, This is the camp of God! So he named that place Mahanaim.
3 Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom.
4 He instructed them: This is what you are to say to my master Esau: 'Your servant Jacob says, I have been staying with Laban and have remained there till now.

Also Joshua met before he entered into the conquering process of Jericho a high ranking angel in his God given field of authority (see Joshua 5:13-15).

Joshua 5:13-15:
13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, Are you for us or for our enemies?
14 Neither, he replied, but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come. Then Joshua fell face down to the ground in reverence, and asked him, What message does my Lord have for his servant?
15 The commander of the LORD's army replied, Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy. And Joshua did so.

God’s given angels at our side

As people of God we have to know, that God has given us special angels at our side and the needed anointing for our tasks, that we have to do here on earth.
But through sin, we can demolish the wall of protection of our sphere of authority, that minimizes the power of the angels of God to work on our behalf.
It means not, that the angels become weak but they are minimized by unrighteousness to transfer the power of God for the sake of our calling. The reason is because sin separates us from God (see 1 John 5:17; Isaiah 59:1-2).

1 John 5:17:
17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Isaiah 59:1-2:
1 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Turn away from the wicked ways!

Yes, Jesus came to redeem us by His sacrifice at the cross from the yoke of sin but for this we have to turn away from the wicked ways (see 2 Chronicles 7:14-15).

2 Chronicles 7:14-15:
… 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

Forgiveness is the key!

It is crucial, that we apply forgiveness by Jesus sacrifice at the cross to the past situations in our life where we were not treating our calling and the Holy Spirit with God’s angels rightly.
Let us be more aware of God’s angelic presence like the sentence of Jacob said:

“Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” Genesis 28:16

Be a friend and show hospitality!

We have to become like friends for the angels and be hospitable to receive their effective help, that carries us further (see Hebrews 1:14; Hebrews 13:2).

Hebrews 1:14:
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Hebrews 13:2:
2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

When I come now back to the dream, that I shared in the beginning and connect it with the relationship between the horsewomen and her horse, I can say, that a horse will only work together with the rider, when it senses unconditional love.
If we are aware of God’s presence, which includes the angelic presence and we respond in love to it by recognizing and reacting in kindness on them, then we will experience an increase of blessing and victory in our everyday life with the Lord (see Exodus 23:20-23).

Exodus 23:20-23:
20 See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.
22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.
23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.

In one of his books “Working with Angels”, Steven Brooks wrote on page 92 the following:

“The person who has a close relationship with his or her angel is in a position to make greater strides with God. The minister who has learned to value the angelic help that God has assigned is positioned to receive information from God with a clear message for the present time. Zechariah was a person who experienced supernatural insight through an angelic messenger (see Zechariah 1:14).”

Zechariah 1:14:
14 So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

Protect your eye from evil!

To see and hear prophetically clearly and discern rightly, we have to protect our eyes and ears before evil.
If we fill our minds with evil movies or TV-series it is polluting our soul, so that we can not see or hear clearly the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Those pictures are like a punch to the Holy Spirit and to the angels into our sphere of authority.
Sin in every category grieves the Holy Spirit and hinders the flow of revelation from God.
Our divine pipeline must be transparent like golden glass to reflect God`s power rightly here on earth (see Zechariah 4:12-14; Revelation 21:21)

Zechariah 4:12-14:
12 Again I asked him, What are these two olive branches beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil?
13 He replied, Do you not know what these are? No, my lord, I said.
14 So he said, These are the two who are anointed to serve the Lord of all the earth.

Revelation 21:21:
21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city (note: the Bride) was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

The soft spot of angels

Our God given angels have like a “soft spot”, that is called on horses “withers”.
The “withers” is a sensitive place between the shoulder blades of a horse, where the horse in its younger age is kindly treated by its mother (note: like liking, nudging it with the nose, …).

This example should help us reflecting the sensitive place of the angels and the Holy Spirit, which we are called as saints to treat rightly in love and tenderness by the way we live with God.
Everyone of us has a special expression of love and tenderness in the daily relationship with the Lord and this is why it is so important, that we treat the supernatural “soft spot”  of the Trinity of God and his divine beings rightly.

Let us not hurt God and his heavenly hosts but stroke and kiss them by our lifestyle of praise!

Amen and Amen.

Keeping attention on the supernatural “soft spot” of God,

Daniel Glimm

Precious Believer,

I am writing you because I had a dream with you in it! I knew, even while dreaming the dream, that the dream was from the Lord. In the dream there was a very large house. It was similar to a castle or a fortress; therefore, I would interpret it as "kingdom."

It was very clear in this dream that we must have the heart of the King in order to fulfill destiny.

In my dream, the fortress had many different rooms. As Believers, we were searching for divine direction to accomplish and fulfill destiny. As we, as the Redeemed (full of Light), would enter into each room – the room would immediately light up! Yet, though we were in the room – we were unable to locate the door to the next room (our next step toward fulfilling destiny). Suddenly, Jesus would appear by the door (after all, He is the Door) and looked at us, the Body, and said, "This is the way." We went through this type of situation in every room.

My dream ended with my realizing that each intersection had a new door of entrance. At each entrance, the leaders in the Body of Christ would go first, and others who served in the Kingdom followed. I remember telling those who followed behind to be sure and go through this entrance together and not "lag behind." Timing was extremely important in this dream. The leaders would spearhead the way – but they were only empowered to do so as they followed Jesus, the Captain of the Host! It was increasingly clear that we must all completely rely on and lean on Jesus for His directives. Leaning on Jesus has been a Christian cliché for years. It is not to be considered a passive term any longer. In Song of Solomon 8:5, it speaks of one who comes up from out of the wilderness..."leaning on her beloved." The word "lean" is the Hebrew word which actually means "to recline." However we, as Believers, also know that we must "labor" to enter into "rest."

I'm sure that many of you can relate to me when I say that I feel that I have been through a wilderness experience and that it is time to come out of that wilderness. However, just as Solomon wrote...we come out "leaning" and "reclining" on Him. This means being completely dependent upon Him and His direction. Having faith in this season for great breakthrough involves spiritual warfare which seems like anything but resting and reclining – however, we must remember that Jesus has already won the victory!

Significant Keys

There are two important areas of great significance that I believe are keys for the season ahead:

1. That we must break through religious mindsets for the new season.

2. This is a season where the leaders will be led with new instruction, but also – and this is very important – the Aarons and Hurs will hold up the arms of their leaders.

Now, I am fully aware that many of God's chosen have been serving their leaders faithfully. However, in this season, there is a fresh breath of life being released from God's throne to empower everyone called as an Aaron and a Hur! I believe that God is even calling forth Aarons and Hurs to hold up other Aarons and Hurs! This is because many have been weary and under demonic assignment, causing fatigue and even passivity due to physical and spiritual exhaustion.

In my book, Destiny Thieves: Defeat Seducing Spirits and Achieve Your Purpose in God, I discuss both of these keys in great length. We are living in very perilous times. There are various forms of seducing spirits that will rise up and attempt to steal destiny. I specifically discuss the "Amalekite spirit" that attacks those in the camp who are weak and feeble. In my travels and communications with other leaders in the Body of Christ, I notice the weariness many are feeling. The Amalekites were known to specifically wait behind a moving camp and prey upon those who lagged behind for one reason or another. Their goal was to take the stragglers captive as slaves or murder them and plunder their goods. Dear ones – whether ill or moving slowly from loss of vision, we need to be aware there is an evil spirit desiring to take us captive!

The Aarons and Hurs

If you remember, it was Aaron and Hur who held up the arms of Moses as the Israelites fought against the Amalekites. You can read the entire story in Exodus 17. As you may recall, Israel was at war with the Amalekites, and as long as Moses held out the rod so all could see, the warriors became encouraged and would rise up with great faith for victory. Moses' arms grew weary and his arms began to fall to the point that Israel could no longer see the rod extended. Therefore, the battle would turn in the favor of the enemy if they could not see Moses extending the rod!

Again – and it is important to visualize this – as long as Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms, the Israelites would gain an upper hand in battle. When Moses' arms were weary from holding up the rod, the Amalekites would rise up with greater courage. Saints, what does this tell us? First, that there are many leaders who need the Aarons and Hurs to rise up and hold up their arms. And, secondly, this tells us today that many in the Body who are called to hold up the arms of their leaders are under an evil assignment by the enemy. The enemy would like nothing better than to destroy those who are called to serve. In my book, I give many different keys as to how to battle against this destiny-destroying stronghold. Please keep in mind that a leader in the Body of Christ is not limited to a five-fold minister. A leader might be a Sunday school teacher, a praise team leader, or a leader of any type of team. I also want to include marketplace ministers as part of God's leadership team. One mindset that we must overcome is to believe that someone needs a pulpit in order to "lead" someone to Christ! (Now, leading someone to Christ, that's what I call a leader!)

Doors of Opportunity

There are many doors of opportunity that are opening to us. This was part of my dream. The leaders need to lean more to Jesus for direction, but they must also have the Aarons and Hurs following them and encouraging them. These doors of opportunity could and very well may oppose religious doctrines and religious mindsets! We must be willing to allow the Lord to breathe afresh upon His Word and be expecting fresh revelation.

Saints, yesterday's revelation will be breathed upon again to empower us for the season ahead! To believe that we "know it all" and "understand it all" right now is to remove ourselves from under the cloud of His glory!

It has always been amazing to me how much people desire to protect their doctrine – especially if it opposes a move of God. It is this author's belief that my being "right" about something is not as nearly important as my doing the "right" thing for now. This means I must let go of what I "think" I know and be willing for the Holy Spirit to teach me something a little differently (maybe a lot different!). Either way, my connection to my destiny lies in complete surrender to Him.

Don't allow a door of opportunity to pass you by! Be determined to go through the door that is planned for your future. Be willing to learn something new, go a different route, and enjoy new scenery along the way. He has His very best planned for you!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

Allow me to pray for you: Father God, I want to specifically pray for every leader in the Body of Christ and the Aarons and Hurs who are called to serve the Body. I pray divine protection over each of them and that every plan You have for their lives would be fulfilled. I take authority over the Amalekite spirit and all religious spirits that would attempt to rob divine destiny. Lord, I pray that every door of opportunity will be accessed by each Believer. Lord, continually remind us that we need to seek Your face and to hold You reverently in our hearts. I ask that the Holy Spirit would begin to speak clear directives to all who serve You in Kingdom purpose. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

As always, I send love to all of you!

To walk in overcoming victory we need a spiritual "brainwashing" to rid ourselves of "stinking thinking."

Our minds need to be thoroughly cleansed of the lies and filth of the world so we can put on the mind of Christ, learning to think as He thinks and to see as He sees. A cleansed and renewed mind will completely change our perception of life and the world around us.

The Spirit of God is calling each of us to a higher standard:
"...walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10).

This is not a season to be apathetic and loose about our lifestyles. We must pursue peace and holiness for without pure hearts we will not see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

God calls all His people to a life of purity, which is the path to holiness. As Paul writes: "Therefore, since these great promises are ours, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, and bring our consecration to completeness in the reverential fear of God." (2 Corinthians 7:1, AMP)

This is a call to our complete consecration: body, soul, and spirit. In other words, we must figuratively be living sacrifices on the altar of God. Leviticus 1:8 describes the process for consecrating a "voluntary offering" brought to the Lord by the people.

A closer look reveals important prophetic insight:

"Then the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar."

Notice that the entire animal, all of its parts including the head and the fat, were laid on the altar and burned completely. The fact that the animal's head was laid on the altar is significant because it reminds us that our minds must also be surrendered to the Lord for cleansing and consecrating, symbolized by the fire of the offering. It is with a clean consecrated mind that we enter into communion with the Lord.

The name Aaron depicts "those who lift the light." As priests, we are called to be the light of the world, a city set upon a high hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). The sacrificial animal was to be laid on the wood on the fire of the altar. It is only as the fire of God's Spirit falls upon us that we are truly empowered. In Acts 2, the tongues of fire rested upon the heads of all in the upper room and each one was filled with the Holy Spirit and with power.

There is an old Gospel hymn that says:

"Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid? Your heart, does the Spirit control? You can only be blest and have peace and sweet rest, as you yield Him your body and soul."

It is time for us to lay everything on the altar and embrace the holy fire of God's presence! We must present a mind that is clean and wholly consecrated to Him. Like David, our cry must be: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). When we do, we will discover that the Lord transforms our worldly mind into a spiritual mind—His mind.

The Spiritual Mind

The apostle Paul contrasts the natural mind with the spiritual mind.

The natural mind, corrupted by sin, is dulled and darkened to spiritual things, however brilliant it may be in its own natural sphere. There are many intellectually brilliant people who haven't a clue regarding spiritual realities. They are "...always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 3:7).

It takes a spiritual mind to comprehend spiritual truths. Paul goes so far as to say that it is impossible for the natural mind to comprehend the things of the Spirit:

"But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14

As contradictory as it may seem, many true children of God remain dominated, for the most part, by the laws of their natural or carnal minds. One reason the Church struggles so much today, is because many Christians still think like the world, and thoughts give birth to actions.

For example, some say, "I won't believe it until I see it." This is the exact opposite of a spiritual mindset. When Martha warned Jesus of the stench that would result if Lazarus' tomb were opened, Jesus declared, "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" (John 11:40, emphasis mine). Martha was looking and thinking from a carnal perspective. Jesus changed her viewpoint by raising her brother from the dead.

The natural mind says, "If I see, I will believe." The spiritual mind says, "If I believe, I will see." Paul clearly recognized our desperate need for a Spirit-enlightened mind, praying:

"...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power." (Ephesians 1:17–19)

Only in His light can we see light (Psalm 36:9). We should cry out to God for spiritual eyes to see what we believe even as we seek each day to walk in the light of His revealed Word (Psalm 119:105).

No matter how intellectually brilliant we may be, we cannot understand even the simplest concepts of God without the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). The knowledge of spiritual things does not come by intellectual effort. Rather, it comes only by divine revelation. This is why, when Peter declared to Jesus, "'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,' Jesus answered and said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven'" (Matthew 16:16–17).

God's desire is for all His children to possess a spiritual mind and He has given us the capacity through the indwelling Holy Spirit (Nehemiah 9:20). What Jesus said to His disciples applies also to us: "Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear" (Matthew 13:16).

Do you want to cultivate your spiritual mind? Then immerse yourself in God's Word (Psalm 119:9-11).

Pray for revelation and ask the Spirit of God to open your eyes to behold awesome things from heavenly realms (2 Kings 6:17).

There is nothing wrong with intellectual knowledge and pursuit. God gave us our mind and expects us to use it. However, we should never depend upon mere human intellectual wisdom to advance us in the realm of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).
