PROPHETIC CHAMBER

"I will restore the ancient tool, the Watch of the Lord, that has been used and will be used again to change the expression of Christianity across the face of the earth."

Since God ignited my burden for the Watch of the Lord at Herrnhut, the site of the great Moravian prayer watch, it is no accident that He has sent me to draw from their deep pool of wisdom again and again along my journey. The Day of the Watch has come.

The words of the Rev. John Greenfield, the great Moravian evangelist and author, ring as true today as they did 70 or more years ago:

"Prayer always precedes Pentecost. The Book of Acts describes many outpourings of The Holy Spirit, but never apart from prayer. In our own day the great Welsh and Korean revivals were preceded by months, if not years, of importunate and united praying. Hence the supreme importance of the prayer meeting, for it is 'the power-house of the Church.'"

Years ago, the Lord told me, "I will restore Pentecost." Many people think that is an odd or even heretical statement. "After all, Pentecost happened once and for all." Since that time, I have discovered a way to describe this work of God: He is sending yet another Pentecost!

The only way to spread fire is to catch fire! Theology never saved anyone – only a personal experience with a living Savior can do it. Theology never launched a worldwide revival. In every case, it took a fresh revelation of the living Savior to ignite the world with fire from Heaven.

D.L. Moody, one of America's most revered evangelists and conservative church leaders had this to say about the Holy Spirit in one of the last sermons he preached in his life:

"See how He came on the day of Pentecost! It is not carnal to pray that He may come again and that the place be shaken. I believe Pentecost was but a specimen day. I think the Church has made this woeful mistake that Pentecost was a miracle never to be repeated. I have thought too that Pentecost was a miracle that is not to be repeated. I believe now if we looked on Pentecost as a specimen day and began to pray, we should have the old Pentecostal fire here in Boston."

God is restoring the fire of the Holy Spirit to His people so we will restore the fire of prayer on His altar of incense, and release the glory of God on the earth! The same God who engineered this miracle in Jerusalem and in Herrnhut in the 1700s appears determined to do the same across the earth in our day! God is not interested in mere "corporate assent" to the principle of revival – He demands personal surrender, commitment, and sold-out service in prayer accompanied by demonstrations of His mighty acts for His glory!

When the people of God dare to surrender to the Holy Spirit of God and then live lives of continuous consecrated prayer, they will display an infectious joy that will draw the lost to them again and again in divine appointments of destiny.

God's Intention

Matthew Henry wrote, "When God intends great mercy for His people, the first thing He does is to set them a praying." God intends to cover the earth with His glory and with a flood of mercy and grace. But first, God must wake His sleeping giant, the Church. We can no longer afford to hear the urgent word of the Lord and walk away passively. The call is the same regardless of what title or flavor adorns the sign over the door of our place of worship.

Jesus warned us eleven times to "be on the watch, be on the alert, wake up, and watch out that no one deceives you."

Too many of us have stopped listening and stopped caring.

God is calling His watchmen – every Blood-washed saint and redeemed king and priest – in groups of twos or threes to come together on the wall. He is calling forth the ancient tools to bring salvation to our generation. Do you believe dead men's bones can live again? I believe dead men's bones will live again. Some see dry bones; I see an army! I believe that the same Spirit who kept the promises of God for generations in the past is waiting for us to enter into the Holy of Holies for our time and our generation!

On a Worldwide Scale

God fully intends to do on a worldwide scale what He did more than 200 years ago. He is out to raise up a Church, a nation of kings and priests, whose determination is to know nothing among men save Jesus Christ and Him crucified, whose theology has become Christology, and whose creed was, in one word, the "Cross."

The key to fulfillment and fruitfulness in your life is found in one word of eternal significance: "Yes." Your commission is clear: As a king and priest cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, your lifelong calling is to offer the fire and incense of prayer, praise, worship, and intercession to the Most High God and to intercede on behalf of this lost and dying generation.

A Prayer of Consecration

Here I am, Lord. Let the fire of Your hot love burn on the altar of my heart. Let there be fire on my altar and may it never go out. Count me in. Sign me up as a watchman on Your wall. Restore the lost art of intercession. Restore the power and the passion of the watch of the Lord. Use me in Your End Time Army and set me as an intercessor for Christ's namesake. Amen.

PROPHETIC CHAMBER

Then Manoah prayed to the LORD, and said, "O my Lord, please let the Man of God whom You sent come to us again and teach us what we shall do for the child who will be born." Judges 13:8

At a time of great trouble for Israel, God put His finger on a particular barren couple in order to bring supernatural deliverance for His people. When the Angel of the Lord made the announcement, Manoah asked, "Teach me how to raise this child?" He recognized that God had a set destiny and purpose for the miracle son that was to be born, and he desired to set the course for his son to fulfill the promise. This is the heart of every parent. This week we thought it would be good to share with you some of the parenting lessons and wisdom we have learned over the years.

Pray

Manoah had one thing right. Before he even held his miracle child in his arms he started his journey to parenthood with prayer. Never underestimate the supernatural power of prayer. If Jesus prayed for His disciples, how much more do we need to pray for our children? Plead the Blood over them. Proclaim the blessings of Deuteronomy 28. Declare Scripture over them. Pray for them to grow in stature and favor with God and man. Cover their teachers, peers, schools. Seek God's counsel, wisdom, and intervention for particular situations they face.

If you have a child that is going through a rascally season, don't despair. Prayer is your answer. Remind the Lord of the prophetic promises He has given you for your child. Aggressively plead the Blood over your children. Hold them before the Lord as you take communion. Your child may stray, but the Lord will honor your prayers. Like Abraham's intercession for Lot, God will loose angels to grab your child and pull him back to safety. He will bring your children back to their borders.

Bless

God has given you the authority as the priest in your home to bless your children. A great picture of this is when Samuel anointed David as king. Samuel identified David. He called him by name. He spoke his future destiny over him. He poured oil, a symbol of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, over him. His blessing set David apart and released divine power from Heaven to protect, empower, and transform David from shepherd to king. As a parent, you are the priest with the anointing to speak into, call forth, and anoint your child to rule and reign in Christ.

Direct

Psalm 127:3-4 tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord. They are like arrows in the hands of a warrior. Arrows are not meant to rest in your quiver. They are shot out for a purpose in a set trajectory. That direction is set by the parents. The Lord will correct and fine tune their path as they mature and grow, but as parents, your responsibility is to set your children's course.

We live in days where every aspect of the culture around us is trying to bend our children into a mold that denies God and holds to an identity that is contrary to everything we know to be true. But God has chosen you and your children to live for such a time as this. Your children are going to be His mighty champions. They are the arrows that will pierce the enemy's fortress. They are vessels God has ordained to display His glory on the earth. It begins as you set your children in the right direction by raising children that love God and serve God.

Correct

One of the biggest tragedies of our contemporary culture is the desire of parents to be their child's best friend. Parents are parents, not buddies. God has anointed and called you to be the parent so that your child will grow up as a whole human being who knows and hears the Lord. Psalm 23 says, "Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." The shepherd used the rod to gently nudge the sheep to keep them from falling over a cliff! Don't feel guilty for setting boundaries. Children need limits. You can be gentle, but firm. Direct, correct, protect, and love your kids as the parent God ordained you to be. As you do, you are teaching your children to love, honor, and fear the Lord, too.

Let God

One of the most important things we learned over the years is that the Third Person of the Godhead is also the third parent. This is especially important if you are a single-parent home. I, Bonnie, especially appreciated this as Mahesh was often gone for long stretches at a time ministering in different corners of the world. There are so many times that I can look back and see where the Holy Spirit stepped into that empty place as Father, Mother, Comforter, Teacher, Deliverer, Caretaker, Lover of my children. He filled the gaps where we missed it. He came to be the wisdom where we didn't know what to do. He was the balance when Mahesh and I found ourselves at odds in regards to our parenting style.

God foreknew and ordained your children to know Him and walk in His ways. He has a good future for them. So make room for Him in your life and in the life of your children. The Holy Spirit is your best friend and the best parent in the world.

Connect

Stay connected to a vital local Church. This is the place that the Lord has ordained to form our children, to give them identity, strength, refuge, and friends with like values and vision. It creates a network for your whole family that offers both spiritual and natural support. We deeply believe that God wants you and your children to experience Him in a place of permanence and stability that comes from being rooted in relationships with other Believers in a local Church family. We have seen the fruit of extraordinary blessing and favor in the children that have been nurtured in the corporate anointing that comes through strong relationships and formation within the context of the local Church Body.

Have Joy

The primary emotion of the Holy Spirit is joy, and so we always try to cultivate an atmosphere that is full of joy and humor. When our kids were young we made our family time talking about God and the Bible fun. We acted out Bible stories. The kids would get to play the different characters. We would often add a few fun details here or there just to spark their imaginations. When there was a prayer need, we would naturally include it into our daily conversation with our kids: "Let's pray for so-and-so today." Make God joyful, fun, and funny because children will fall in love with goodness and happiness. It will mark them.

If you are in the stage where you feel like sleep deprivation is a state of life, your children need you 24/7, and you wonder if you are going to make it to the other side, know this: the Holy Spirit will never leave you or forsake you. He has entrusted you with the most precious gift, the life of His little ones who carry the seed of destiny for their generation, and He will be right there by your side every moment of every day.

None of us has all the answers. Thank God He is bigger than our biggest mistakes. We are all on a journey together to greater glory! We honor and bless all of you who are raising up the next generation. May God bless you with His wisdom and grace, and His glory overshadow your house.

PROPHETIC CHAMBER

For several days now I have seen myriads of angels in the heavenlies standing in rows. "Myriads" is not a word I would use – it dropped into my spirit when I saw them. Myriad means "uncountable."

Then I heard the sound of bells pealing over and over. Sometimes they got REALLY LOUD. At the same time I felt a strong sensing to clean the house and get rid of "stuff" I don't need. One time they were so LOUD I jumped up out of my chair and ran out of my office. Now, writing this, I smell the aroma of honey really strong (honey to enlighten the eyes and revelation).

Then I heard lots of people cheering and shouting. The only time I have heard bells like this is when there was a royal wedding or coronation. I couldn't quite figure it out. In one way I believe it's for everyone no matter where they are, but I suddenly felt impressed to ask people everywhere to pray for the UNITED KINGDOM.

Bells to Ring for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Then someone emailed me and said, "It's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on the 5th of June." Jubilee means "loud, joyful noise." So between the 2nd and 5th of June there are going to be lots of celebrations in UK.

My friend Beni Johnson said that God has been telling her things for a year about the bells. God told her, "The bells are going to ring again in England. Bells that have not been rung in years." Beni said, "The bells are going to ring again and call people to prayer and worship as they did before. The bells will cause a sound in the atmosphere and it will be a sign to the UK. A sign of change (look back at the meaning of 'peals') and bring a shift."

Please, wherever you are in the world, would you pray and ask your friends and your church to pray for the United Kingdom THIS WEEKEND – it's the beginning of the celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

There was a prophetic word given in 1930 that I believe is about to be released and the bells are going to proclaim and declare it (see below).

On Sunday, 3rd June, there is going to be a wonderful pageant. Eight brand new large bells have been made and will be placed on a "floating belfry" that will float down the River Thames from Battersea Bridge to Tower bridge. The bells barge will be followed by Queen Elizabeth's barge, "Gloriana" and then 1,000 other vessels. The bells on the lead barge will peal (see what "peal" means below) along the River Thames. Twelve churches will also ring out their bells at 3pm, followed by at least 2,000 other churches across the country. You are welcome to join in wherever you are (click here).

Bells to Ring for the Olympic Games

Then there is also a great plan in place for all the church bells across the United Kingdom to ring at the beginning of the Olympic Games on July 27, 2012. All the bells across the country will PEAL at 8am. Please mark your calendar and pass this on to your mailing list and put it on your Facebook and repost it.

This is to welcome ALL THE VISITORS to the UK. Guess why? It's not just for the games, but to partake of the Wind of the Spirit being released between these two events.

I looked up the meaning of "Peal of bells" and guess what it says? 1) Set of changes 2) Set of bells tuned into each other 3) Loud joyful noise.

David Willson, CEO of the More Than Gold organization said, "This is just one more fantastic opportunity for churches to get involved with their communities and ring out their bells in celebration of the great things to come."

Martin Creed, Turner Prize-winning artist and musician said, "It's by people and for people. On the morning of the opening of the Games it's a massive signal that something is happening."

Jon Burns, UK Director of More Than Gold said, "It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for churches all around the UK to come together in this way. Let's ring the bells and make a noise for the opening of the Games, for our communities, and for all that is to come."

Prophetic Word from 1930

Now, the prophetic word that was given to Arthur Burt (Wales) – I believe it's so relevant here. This word was confirmed by prophet Bob Jones to me, and he didn't even know what the word was that Arthur Burt had been given. He just told me when I arrived back from Wales, "Tell the man whose house you were just in that he will see the word." When I asked Bob, "What word?" he said, "I don't know but it was given to a group of people in 1930 and this man was one of those people. All the others in the group have died."

When I called Arthur Burt to ask him about it, he read me the word that was given to a group of people in 1930. Bear in mind that Arthur Burt is now 100 years old. This word was given to a group (Arthur Burt was a part of this group) in 1930 – this was also Bob Jones' birth year:

"THERE SHALL COME A BREATH AND THE BREATH SHALL BRING THE WIND, AND THE WIND SHALL BRING THE RAIN, AND THE RAIN SHALL BRING THE FLOODS, AND FLOODS AND FLOODS AND THE FLOODS SHALL BRING THE TORRENTS AND TORRENTS AND TORRENTS.

"SO SHALL THEY BE SAVED LIKE FALLING LEAVES FROM THE MIGHTY OAKS SWEPT BY A HURRICANE IN A GREAT FOREST. ARMS AND LEGS SHALL COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND THERE SHALL BE NO EBB."

Prayer for the UK

While the bells ring on both occasions and make a declaration and celebration, let's all agree that God will rule and reign in the UK. Pray for the eyes of the Parliament to be opened to see the wiles of the enemy. Pray for the strategies of the enemy to be uncovered and discovered by the Spirit of God. Pray for a spirit of grace and POWER to sweep across the UK, just like the bells will be ringing across the country. Pray for God to send forth JOYFUL laborers, not heavy religious ones – UK needs the joy, UK needs the spirit of laughter. Laughter is a major warfare weapon, by the way.

Psalm 2:4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision.

The Olympic Day bells are an invitation to everyone to visit and partake of this anointing. So grab those bells, whatever size, and declare the goodness and mercy of the Most High God.
