Warning to the Church: We need to keep our focus on Christ and be led by the Holy Spirit of Truth. We cannot just run after teaching, we must focus on the Teacher.

In a vision I saw a little boy break free from his father's hand and run across the street without looking. What he saw on the other side of the street got his attention and he just went for it. Across the street was a big desk and office chair placed at the curb, as if it was discarded and waiting for trash pick-up.

The boy, being young and immature, had his eyes on an empty hope and lost focus of what is important. I felt this was a warning to the Church. We need to keep our focus on Christ and be led by the Holy Spirit of Truth. We cannot continue to run after teaching; we must focus on the Teacher. We must simply Stop, Look and Listen!

One of the first safety rules children are taught when they are very young is to stop, look and listen. Once this simple children's poem is learned, it serves as a guide the remainder of their life.

Stop, look and listen
Before you cross the street.
First use your eyes,
Then use your ears,
Before you use your feet.

STOP! I believe God is calling us to halt from our labors, rest in Him and be led by the Holy Spirit of Truth. We are called to live by faith in Him and lean not on our own understanding. We have been motivated by our soul instead of being led by our spirit in oneness with the Holy Spirit.

LOOK! We must perceive with attention what the Holy Spirit is doing by keeping our gaze upon Him at all times. In doing so we will stay on the right path and be prepared for what the Holy Spirit is saying as we wait expectantly.

LISTEN! When we rest from our labors and set our gaze upon Him, then we are prepared to receive what the Holy Spirit is saying. As we hear the voice of God we will be motivated by love to step out in faith and obedience.

Teaching is great because we need to be taught by the Bible, but the Body of Christ must move beyond the teaching of the Word into an experience with the living God. We will only achieve this by coming to the end of our works and resting in Him. We must keep our gaze upon Him and wait expectantly for His direction. We cannot afford to be distracted by things that "look good to our flesh." If we lose our focus we will be blindsided.

"THEREFORE let us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God." Hebrews 6:1, Amplified

End of the Degree and Beginning of the Decree!

In this season, as we mature into the sons and daughters of God, we move from death of the old way into the new life. It's a new beginning. It's the end of our soul being in control of our life and the beginning of the spirit-man taking over our mind, will and emotions.

The Body of Christ is coming to the end of the degree and beginning to decree a new thing! Because the soul has been in control, the Church has operated with a degree mentality. Degrees are awarded for completing a course of study such as college or seminary. Simply stated, it is a commendation given for works of the flesh or soul. It has mind power but no spirit. But in this day the Body is moving into the DECREE.

"You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God's favor] shall shine upon your ways." Job 22:28, Amplified

Decrees are a legal and binding command. They are decisions made with authority. When the Spirit of Truth leads us, we will have the momentum of the Holy Spirit and those things we decree in agreement with Him shall be established.

"Therefore, brethren, we are debtors – not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God."
Romans 8:12-14

The Prophetic Ministry of Bob and Bonnie Jones

Many of you reading this word will be coming forth from a place of severe testing into a place of promise and power!

It will be a fantastic and fruitful season for you.

When Jesus completed His time of testing in the wilderness He went in the power of the Spirit throughout Galilee, "proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people." (Matthew 4:23)

When Israel came out of their time of testing in the wilderness, they entered their Promised Land (read the books of Exodus and Joshua).

Over the years I have consistently observed this pattern in the lives of Believers. Following a time of testing there is the fulfillment of promise and power. I have known this to be true in my own life also. There are a few points to observe in the two scenarios mentioned above that will help position you for the best season ever.

Key #1: Face Temptation with a Determination to Overcome

Jesus did not flee from the pressure of the enemy and neither did He fear or weaken in the midst of the tempter's assault. He faced every temptation with a sure and confident determination to overpower the lies of the enemy. Israel, on the other hand, caved in very quickly when they faced difficulties. They chose to fear rather than face the temptations with faith. As a result, an entire generation did not enter the Promised Land. What lies are the enemy whispering in your ears? You are not weak – you are strong. Jesus has already faced and overcome every temptation and you can, too. Believe the Word and overcome!

Key #2: War With the Word

There is a difference between simply hearing while mentally agreeing with the Word and truly believing the Word. The Israelites had heard the Word of the Lord. They had a sure promise that was confirmed with miracles, signs, and wonders, and yet they disbelieved. They were excited when all was well, but they caved in quickly when opposition came. If they had believed the Word the Lord spoke they could have used that as a weapon against all their doubts and fears, but they did not believe the Word. Jesus, however, not only knew the promises of the Scriptures but He believed them and used them as a weapon. You can fight the lies of the enemy with the Word. Truth will always prevail. Stand on the Truth and stand on your promises.

Key #3: Keep Your Focus on God

If your focus is on your problems or the obstacles before you, they will be empowered. You always empower what you focus on. Israel lost sight of God easily and they focused more on the obstacles and the lack around them than on God. They empowered the problems. Jesus, on the other hand, maintained a right focus. He never took His eyes off God and, as a result, when the period of testing was over He went forth in the power and might of God and fulfilled His destiny. Whatever you are facing right now, God is bigger and He has a plan for your victory. Focus on Him. Praise Him. Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Keep your focus on God and you will surely overcome and be released into the fullness of all that has been promised you in Christ.

Key #4: Perseverance Assures a Great Outcome

Jesus endured until He won the victory. He persevered with faithfulness and refused to serve the lies and offers of the devil. He locked into God and persevered. In the wilderness we learn perseverance. There are times when it feels like you are walking through a very dry place where God is nowhere to be found. These are times when you need to stand faithful and believe God and His promises. Remember the victory is waiting to manifest. Hang in there. Israel lacked perseverance – Christ did not. What outcome would you like in your life?

Many of you are ready for a glorious promotion and release of blessing in the Kingdom. You are going to see awesome displays of His power and miracles on your behalf. Remain faithful and keep your eyes on Him. Your breakthrough is here!

I believe this Scripture will be a great encouragement to you:

"Be of sober spirit, be on the alert, your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you." 1 Peter 5:8-10

The Streak Begins...

The streak currently stands at 81 meetings straight since October where angels have been manifesting during worship and singing or playing instruments. What we used to experience once every two or three years is now happening in every single meeting.

Creative miracles have also begun to happen spontaneously during worship. A lady with a 20-year-old neck injury which caused spinal cord and nerve damage was healed in Lufkin, Texas, recently. The injury caused her to have extreme tunnel vision in her right eye; so much so, she could not even see the edge of her glasses. After worship, she got up and walked down the hall and was shocked by objects seeming to come toward her from the right side. Then she realized that her peripheral vision had been restored. Also, the skin on the right side of her body felt like it had a coating of wax over it before, and after worship, she began to touch her face and arms, realizing that normal sensitivity on her skin had been restored and the "coating of wax" was gone!

The angelic music being played and sung during worship has been spectacular. The streak began in a home group in Redding, California in October, as I led worship with just my guitar and voice. I noticed that I heard other instruments during worship and so I asked the 10 people there if they heard anything. They said, "Yes, we heard other instruments being played so distinctly, we thought it was a backing track of music with a full band you were playing along with!"

In Vacaville, California, I was leading worship for the Healing Rooms at The Mission, and two women approached me after the service where I was leading with just my guitar and voice and they said, "We distinctly heard a flute, an oboe, and a French horn!"

In Russellville, Arkansas, a man came up to me after the worship and said, "I don't know what you were doing up there, but all I could hear were 1,000 voices singing! It drowned out the music you were playing!"

I think it is interesting that this unbroken streak of angelic musicianship commenced about the same time the glory cloud began to appear again at Bethel Church in Redding, California. God is up to something big, and I am very excited about it. I had a vision in 1992 where the Holy Spirit was giving the words and the music spontaneously, and the cloud of God's glory began to appear, and miracles began to spontaneously happen during the worship. Over 20 years, we have only touched that realm a few times, and now it is every single meeting!

Portals of Supernatural Worship

Whenever angels gather, God is manifesting His glory and the heavenly realm for a reason. Since angels are servants of God, sent by Him to minister to the saints, it is always a good sign when they manifest on earth. Our daily prayer is, "Your Kingdom come! Right here, right now, on earth as it is in Heaven! Let what is happening in Heaven happen on earth right now!" The heavenly worship scene of Revelation is happening on earth as the cosmic chorus joins the earthly worshipers and supernatural prophetic worship is charged with the electricity of Heaven! "Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song..." (Revelation 5:8-9).

I believe there are portals of supernatural worship opening up all over the earth like Jacob's ladder. Angels are ascending and descending on the worship of the saints on the earth and bringing miracles from Heaven to people during our corporate worship services. Holy Spirit is changing the way we do things down here so that we can experience more of His presence and power as we yield to the "new song" and the two-way conversation with God in worship that is increasing in gatherings all over the world.

This is a grand opportunity to experience Heaven on earth, and the doors and windows of the supernatural realm are open to us! The Lord showed me a window that was open right now that is very much like the window during the mid-1990s where many of us came into a greater fullness of God's presence and power. He said the window was much bigger this time in order that even more people on the earth can experience His goodness and love.

Revival is in the air again! What will you do to host Him?
