Honest Heavenly ‘Trade’

Honest heavenly trade involves entering the presence of heaven as a mature son of God and taking this presence into the earth realm. Honest trade in the heavens means entering into the presence of God to connect to all the provision the LORD has and then take it to the earth realm in order to release it in fullness into life.

In Jesus Christ we have the right to invest into heaven and to unite with that which He already apportioned to us by His victory at the cross and His resurrection, in order that we administer it on earth (see Ephesians 1:22-23).

Ephesians 1:22-23:
22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Entry into Heaven and Divine ‘Trade’

When we enter heaven to conduct the heavenly ‘exchange deal’, the power of divine protocol as described in Zechariah 3:1-7 is activated. There Joshua the High priest appears before the throne of God where Satan is also present to accuse him.

Satan is rebuked by the angel of the LORD, and on the command of the angel Joshua's filthy clothes are removed and he is clothed with rich clean garments. This practice shows us that we are permitted to enter the presence of God, as we are made righteous through Christ (see Isaiah 1:18 i.c.w. Romans 8:30).

Isaiah 1:18:
18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Romans 8:30:
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Administering the Victory of the Kingdom

To develop spiritually as saints in Jesus Christ and thus become mature sons of God (note: unless we already are) is vital; this is what the Heavenly Father yearns for. God wants mature sons who administer the victory of the kingdom.

This does not mean believers who focus only on the demonic and battle against it.
True spiritual warfare is not primarily about focusing on demonic powers but our walk with the Heavenly Father. By this we carry the kingdom, as it is in heaven, from His presence down to earth.

As a result the light of the victory of Jesus which He obtained on the middle cross at Calvary pierces the demonic resistance from top to bottom. This means the evil spirits are cast from their positions in the air, and thus as sons of God we trample on snakes and scorpions (see Luke 10:18-19 i.c.w. Ephesians 6:12).

Luke 10:18-19:
18 He (note: Jesus Christ) replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Ephesians 6:12:
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

God wants us to mature as saints and to abandon childish things/practices (see 1 Corinthians 13:11).

1 Corinthians 13:11:
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

Stewarding Solid Spiritual Food

Regarding the spiritual realm a mature son of God can recognize if a believer is mature in spirit or moves in a level of immaturity, on the basis of his communication.
Owing to spiritual immaturity no solid food of the spirit can be shared in this case, and only a certain measure of revelation knowledge may be released, as everything else would cause overextension (see 1 Corinthians 3:2-4; Hebrews 5:12-14).

1 Corinthians 3:2-4:
2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.
3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?
4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?

Hebrews 5:12-14:
12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk*, not solid food (* the teaching about repentance from acts that lead to death, the teaching about faith in God, the teaching about baptisms, the teaching about the laying on of hands, the teaching about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment; see Hebrews 6:1-3)!
13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.
14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

The Result of Unholy ‘Trade’

To proceed rightly in the trading sector of heaven, one must understand that it is possible to conduct unholy trade in the spirit realm, if ones heart attitude is wrong. This results in a removal from the heavenly trading sector, as happened to Satan when he was banished from heaven (note: represented by the fall of the kings of Tyre and Babel), and as can be seen by the manner the traders were thrown out when Jesus Christ cleansed the temple during His time on earth (see Ezekiel 28:13-19; Isaiah 14:11-15 i.c.w. Matthew 21:12-13).

Ezekiel 28:13-19 (note: Fall of the King of Tyre):
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you are appalled at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.’ ”

Isaiah 14:11-15 (note: Fall of the King of Babel):
" … 11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.
12 How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens (note: to define oneself by own deeds); I will raise my throne above the stars of God (note: false zeal); I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon (note: desire to be the center of attention).
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds (note: spiritual independence by escaping circumstances); I will make myself like the Most High (note: through pride, being driven to win only)."
15 But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.

Matthew 21:12-13:
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.
13 “It is written (see Isaiah 56:7),” he said to them, “ ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
When Jesus with the zeal of God cleansed the temple from the fraudulent merchants in Jerusalem, He drew attention to the real trade/the real exchange deal of heaven which can only take place through a sincere heart in the relationship with the Heavenly Father. This is suggested by the tables (note: symbol for fellowship) overturned by Jesus Christ with the table legs like index fingers pointing towards heaven and thus pointing to the true heavenly trade in the relationship with the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ.

The Seven Areas of Unrighteous Trade

In the demonic realm there are different trade areas of unrighteous exchange deals. These are:

  1. the trade area of Tyre
  2. the trade area of Athaliah
  3. the trade area of Jezebel
  4. the trade area of Cain
  5. the trade area of Delilah
  6. the trade area of Leviathan
  7. the trade area of Apollyon.
In the days of the king of Ahab there was a threefold unholy union which developed in Israel through Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians: His daughter was Jezebel she married Ahab, the king of Israel (see 1 Kings 16:29-31).

1 Kings 16:29-31:
29 In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab son of Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria over Israel twenty-two years.
30 Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the LORD than any of those before him.
31 He not only considered it trivial to commit the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, but he also married Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and began to serve Baal and worship him.

Ethbaals granddaughter was Athaliah; she married Jehoram, king of Judah (see 2 Chronicles 21:5-6).
These unholy unions caused problems of control over worship, limited financial freedom and an unhealthy control over Israel's armies.

Tyre
The retail area of the king of Tyre is administered by a demonic spirit, whose influence becomes visible in the natural when people take finances from the church of Christ (note: by stealing or holding back because of greed).

Every time we as saints sow finances into a trading sector which is not holy, we invest into the retail area of the king of Tyre. This means we permit the demonic spirit there to rule over our finances.

To say we have not enough and want more (note: because of greed) is another way to sow into the trading sector of the king of Tyre.
The king of Tyre was the one who plundered Jerusalem and took the gold from the temple.

Then he built the seaport of Tyre by the sea and turned it into a trading venue which was predicated on robbery. As a consequence he created a demonic precedent in the supernatural realm for trade/exchange deals on earth.

The prince of Tyre viewed himself as God and called himself God.
If pride establishes itself in this way in an individual, it is not long before God will let justice prevail (see Ezekiel 28:1-8 i.c.w. Acts 12:21-23; Proverbs 16:18).

Ezekiel 28:1-8 (note: Fall of Tyre):
1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ ‘In the pride of your heart you say, “I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.” But you are a mere mortal and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god.
3 Are you wiser than Daniel? Is no secret hidden from you?
4 By your wisdom and understanding you have gained wealth for yourself and amassed gold and silver in your treasuries.
5 By your great skill in trading you have increased your wealth, and because of your wealth your heart has grown proud.
6 “ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “ ‘Because you think you are wise, as wise as a god, 7 I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations; they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce your shining splendor.
8 They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die a violent death in the heart of the seas.

Acts 12:21-23 (note: Fall of Herod):
21 On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people.
22 They shouted, “This is the voice of a god, not of a man.”
23 Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.

Proverbs 16:18:
18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

The Target of the Demonic Power of Tyre

The demonic powers in the spiritual trading area of Tyre are after the trading center of the sons of God for a reason: If they manage to contaminate subsequent generations by idolatrous worship and trade, they can control the entire trading sector of the sons of God.

At the tip of this ‘trading pyramid’ is the demonic power of ‘Ethbaal’ and under it his ‘daughter’, the evil force of ‘Jezebel’.
Jezebel achieved three things in Israel; she took the place of the power of the king and of the religious system in order to kill the prophets of the LORD.

Even today, the demonic power of ‘Jezebel’ is at work in some areas of the church by ruling and controlling holy plans and systems as well as attacking the prophetic spirit.
Every time leaders take a financial offering by compelling or manipulating people into giving, it is by the influence of the trading sector of the demonic power of ‘Jezebel’.
When leaders call on people to invest into the kingdom, it is vital that they do this from a righteous trading place and from the place of rulership of the son of God, and that they display the right heart attitude.

Leviathan
The demonic power of Leviathan is a prevaricator who speaks half-truths.
The retail area of Leviathan or rather the investment into his influence becomes visible in the natural when people spread half-truths and cultivate pride and illusions.

=> The leviathan of old was an aquatic creature that represented the cruel and absolute forces of nature. Leviathan is spiritually the constellation of Dracos, which was adopted as the spiritual authority over ancient Babylon, also recognized in the ancient world as the Lady of the Sea, coinciding with Revelation 17:1 (also see Job 41:23-24; Revelation 12:3; Revelation 13:1). The leviathan discourse of Job 40:25 – Job 41:26 allegorically depicts a sphere of spiritual power and human experience, where pride rules as the leviathan ruler over the children of pride. False Religion, illusion and delusion are accompanying features of this creature's power. <= (Part excerpt from the “Prophet’s Dictionary by Dr. Paula Price; pages 308 and 309)

Apollyon

Apollyon is the demonic trading area, where its influence can be discerned in the visible when resistance occurs to the atonement of Jesus Christ.
It is the evil force that stops people from accepting Jesus Christ as their redeemer and king, and it hinders saints to proclaim Jesus Christ at the right time.
The influence coming from the region where Apollyon/Abaddon stays, is the intention to devour and to drown human souls in despair, as well as robbing them of true life (note: the Greek name ‘apollyon’ means ‘perversive, a corrupter’. The Hebrew name is ‘abaddon’ and means ‘obliteration, doom, abyss’. Apollyon is the king of the locust army; see Revelation 9:1.3.11).

Revelation 9:1.3.11:
1 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. …
3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. …
… 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

Delilah

Delilah is the demonic trading area, where its influence can be discerned in the visible when we place our focus on earthly things which look beautiful and powerful – If we grow fond of these things, they will lead to an inner void/spiritual tenuity.
This dependency causes our brain to think in a way which does not conform to the standards of God.

Delilah was Samson’s ‘girlfriend’, she seduced him into disclosing the secret of his supernatural power, which initially caused him to loose strength (see Judges 16:4-21).
The result of sowing into this demonic trading area is seduction and religious bondage.

Cain
The influence of the demonic trading area of Cain becomes noticeable, where murderous thoughts and jealousy emerge in the heart. This is connected to a conscious decision not to love ones neighbor (see Genesis 4:3-5.8).

Genesis 4:3-5.8:
3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil (note: a dead sacrifice, as fruits do not have a heartbeat => also represents own ways) as an offering to the LORD.
4 And Abel also brought an offering – fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock (note: a living sacrifice, as blood had been spilled and life is in the blood). The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. …
8 Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
Jesus Christ gave us clear instructions to not only love our neighbor but also our enemies (see Matthew 22:37-40; Luke 6:27).

Matthew 22:37-40:
37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ (see Deuteronomy 6:5).“
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (see Leviticus 19:18).“
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Luke 6:27:
27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, …

The influence of the spirit of Cain is noticeable in believers, who want to remain in an old time of God’s movement and are not prepared to leave their current spiritual place with the LORD. This causes their hearts to become bitter and they are thus unable to enjoy the new movement of the LORD with those who move in it.

The story from 1 Kings 13:1-32 should serve as one such example. There the old prophet lured the man of God moving in the power of signs and wonders, away from God's way so that he met his death later on.

The spirit of Cain works through destructive words, deeds, acts, heart attitudes and thoughts of people within the church towards brothers and sisters in order to stop them in their love and devotion to the LORD. Such behavior is a ‘businesslike conduct’ in the evil trading area of Cain.

The Cleansing of the Heavens by the Blood of Jesus

Jesus Christ cleansed the heavens by His blood, because Satan carried on his unrighteous, deliberate or evil commerce in these areas, of which the heavens needed to be cleansed (see Hebrews 9:12).

Hebrews 9:12:
12 He (note: Jesus Christ) did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place (note: through the heavens) once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

Laying Down the Crowns before the Throne of God

Every time we come as sons of God in the spirit before the throne of God and walk on the crystal sea to lay down our life or victories before our God and king, we offer holy reverence, which includes holy trade or a holy exchange deal with a sincere heart. This leads to our increasing in the victory of Christ and His governmental reign, because we leave the throne of rulership allotted to us in honor of the Heavenly Father and the Lamb of God, after which we enter crowned once again into our time of reign with Jesus Christ (see Revelation 4:10-11 i.c.w. Revelation 5:8-10).

Revelation 4:10-11:
… 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Revelation 5:8-10:
8 And when he (note: the lamb of God) had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.
9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

Whatever it is we are giving as sons of God in honor of the LORD and whatever we lay down before Him, it activates the process of a heavenly, righteous trade/exchange deal, so that we increase in blessing and power in Jesus Christ.

It is important not to have the desire to be seen by people in our heavenly trade, but to come before Him sincerely and to accept any kind of sincere honor we receive from others, which we then take to our private prayer closet to lay it down in reverence before our king on the crystal sea. Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

Translation:
Margit Kelly

Based on the Scripture from Matthew 5:1-2, the Holy Spirit revealed that it is in the Father’s plan to communicate His Word to the people from a higher spiritual level.

This higher spiritual level is connected to the realm of the sons of God who are led by the Spirit of wisdom (cf. Matthew 5:1-2 i.c.w. Romans 8:14).

Matthew 5:1-2:
1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them. He said: …

Romans 8:14:
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children (note: sons) of God.

This wisdom acts as a bright light shining from the realm of the sons of God, who shine like stars in the dark firmament (cf. Daniel 12:3 i.c.w. Wisdom 7:26-30).

Daniel 12:3:
3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Wisdom 7:25-27 (NRSV):
25 For she (Note: wisdom) is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.
26 For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness.
27 Although she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets; …

This shows that darkness must assist in revealing the potential of God’s wisdom in the form of pure light through His sonship (cf. 2 Corinthians 4:6 i.c.w. Colossians 1:13).

2 Corinthians 4:6:
6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Colossians 1:13:
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, …

The purpose of this process is that the way of righteousness may get revealed to many people, so that through the light shining from above they may leave the way of unrighteousness and change to the way of righteousness (cf. Matthew 13:43 i.c.w. Acts 26:18).

Matthew 13:43:
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

Acts 26:18:
‘… 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

The change of path comes about because there is a spiritual hunger in the hearts of people and results in the potential of the Word of God within the Body of Christ on earth stepping up to a higher spiritual level.

The Top of the Mountain and the Anointing of the Tribe of Issachar

This level is equivalent to the mountain where Jesus went and sat with His disciples or apostles. This includes a spiritual dimension related to the recognition of the beginning of a new time and its quality.

According to the Hebrew biblical understanding, every new beginning or start of time (note: beginning of the year/month) is related to the ‘top’ or ‘head’ (note: Hebrew ‘rō’š’).
Thus, the mountain on which Jesus sat down can be compared to the realm of the anointing of the tribe of Issachar. The anointing of the tribe of Issachar relates to understanding the times, giving the right counsel to God’s people, and bringing them to a higher level in the realm of the treasures in Christ Jesus, which are wisdom and knowledge (cf. 1 Chronicles 12:32; Deuteronomy 33:18b-19; Colossians 2:2-3).

1 Chronicles 12:32:
… 32 from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do – 200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command; …

Deuteronomy 33:18b-19:
“… 18b and you, Issachar, in your tents.
19 They (Note: Zebulun and Issachar) will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer the sacrifices of the righteous; they will feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures hidden in the sand.”

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

This hidden realm of wisdom and knowledge in Christ Jesus is equal to the realm of the settlement of Issachar, who settles down like a donkey between two burdens and through revelatory knowledge discerns the dimension of the land of God’s rest in order to operate in the servant hood of the Prince of Peace who is Jesus Christ (cf. Genesis 49:14-15 i.c.w. Hebrews 4:3a, 9-10).

Genesis 49:14-15:
14 “Issachar is a rawboned donkey lying down among the sheep pens.
15 When he sees how good is his resting place and how pleasant is his land, he will bend his shoulder to the burden and submit to forced labor.

Hebrews 4:3a.9-10:
3a Now we who have believed enter that rest, …
9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.

This clearly shows that the top of the mountain is accompanied by the beginning of a new phase of time and the recognition of the times in which the word of God is more weighty due to the released wisdom and knowledge and penetrates the hearts of the people so that they reconsider their ways and realign their lives according to the Word of God.

The Spirit of Wisdom and Knowledge

=> The spirit of wisdom equips us for the position and brings forth prosperity and joy toward God. He teaches us how to judge righteously and bring forth judgments.

Furthermore, it teaches us how to exercise these things as sons of God from the throne in our God-assigned field of responsibility, and how to bring divine order as well as authority into the spirit realm and divine justice out of it.

The spirit of wisdom trains us what to do in the governmental realm as sons of God and releases contentment as well as joy in our lives and in our environment.

The spirit of knowledge teaches us how to obtain the knowledge of God and how to apply it toward the world around us. It enables us to become observant of our position and government as sons of God and what we do with the things we know.

Furthermore, the spirit of knowledge enables us to access knowledge about the supernatural realm of God and how to operate and implement things there.
It also teaches us how to retain the things we see and how to process them, as well as how to secure the information until we carry it permanently within us.

The Spirit of knowledge teaches us how to ponder and receive divine insight and revelation into our circumstances through visions, visitations and dreams.
Further, it enables us to bring forth God’s will on earth. <= (Note: The text placed in ‘=>’ is based on a revelatory teaching by Ian Clayton from the book ‘Realms of the Kingdom Volume I’, pages 188-190)

Wisdom and knowledge also enable us to practically and concretely apply the love of the Father in His principles of the Word of God in recognition of the truth as an indivisible person (note: Jesus Christ) – in all decisions in our daily lives.

Supernatural Hunger and Thirst for the Word of God

It is a supernatural hunger that the LORD connects with and releases at a specific time that draws people into the presence of Christ to internalize His words in the form of revelatory teaching, which is like the dew-covered manna that the people of Israel ate in the wilderness (cf. Amos 8:11 i.c.w. Exodus 16:13b-15; Matthew 4:4).

Amos 8:11:
11 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine through the land – not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.

Exodus 16:13b-15:
… 13b and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp.
14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor.
15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat.

Matthew 4:4:
4 Jesus answered, “It is written (cf. Deuteronomy 8:3): ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Jesus’ revelatory teaching springs from the hidden realm of His sonship, which is like the dark firmament with its twinkling stars, for it was the manna that fell overnight and led to the people’s questioning. His teaching carries the potential of revelation that has not been heard before in this way. His released revelation for this time and the time to come is in harmony with the standard of God’s Word (cf. Isaiah 48:6b-7).

Isaiah 48:6b-7:
… 6b “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.
7 They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot say, ‘Yes, I knew of them.’

It is the Word of God that protectively fences revelation and releases it only into the realm where people have the willingness to implement what they have heard, because it is sacred (cf. Matthew 7:6).

Matthew 7:6:
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

The realm of ‘dogs’ and ‘pigs’ in that scripture includes the heart attitude of foolishness that opposes all instruction from the Word of God as well as competent spiritual leadership (cf. Proverbs 1:7b).

Proverbs 1:7b:
… 7b but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

For this, it is necessary for us to be led by the Holy Spirit through the power of the revelatory truth of His Word to a higher spiritual place and to position ourselves in God’s momentum in His governing authority. This is equal to the new point in time of God as of a starting point and leaving a place in order to go up and sit on the mountain as Jesus did.

The God-assigned Revelation and the Shining Face of the Lion

Furthermore, it is necessary that we share the revelation assigned to us in the light of God’s face, which in this case includes the facet of the lion, to the people who are willing to hear and to act upon it.

The released revelation results in people being called from the ‘valley’ to the ‘mountain’ in order to be led into the true worship of the Father, which is connected with His treasures hidden in Christ Jesus and with the promise in the generations (cf. Deuteronomy 33:18b-19 i.c.w. Genesis 32:12).

Deuteronomy 33:18b-19:
…, 18b and you, Issachar, in your tents.
19 They (Note: Zebulun and Issachar) will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer the sacrifices of the righteous; they will feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures hidden in the sand.”

Genesis 32:12:
12 But you have said, ‘I will surely make you prosper and will make your descendants like the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted.’ ”

The presence of the apostles of the Lamb forms the noble foundation for implementing into the hearts of men the predestined spiritual nourishment (note: revelatory teaching) that proceeds from the mouth of God in the presence of His consuming fiery being in the facet of the roaring fiery lion (cf. Revelation 21:14.19-20 i.c.w. Revelation 5:5b-6).

Revelation 21:14.19-20:
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. …
19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

Revelation 5:5b-6:
… 5b See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

It is the face of the Lion, which is in connection with the Spirit of the LORD as well as the Spirit of the fear of the LORD. And it is the Holy Spirit who leads into all truth and the fear of the LORD, which is the beginning of wisdom as well as knowledge (cf. John 16:13 i.c.w. Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 1:7a).

John 16:13:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Psalm 111:10:
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

Proverbs 1:7a:
7a The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, …

Therefore, let us go forward with a humble heart attitude and listen to what the Spirit of the LORD says to the church – ‘ekklēsia’ and to operate according to it without being passive.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

As the people of God, we enter periods of time in which Jesus Christ, as the living Word of God, enters our time in order to meet us in uncertain circumstances with the power of His prophetic Word and the promise assigned to us by the Heavenly Father.

This kind of visitation is similar to the situation with the blind man from birth whose eyes Jesus smeared with His saliva and mixed it with the sand of the ground (cf. John 9:1.5-7; i.c.w. Revelation 1:15b; Revelation 19:10e).

John 9:1.5-7:
1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. …
5 While I (Note: Jesus Christ) am in the world, I am the light (Note: enlightenment) of the world.”
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.
7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

Revelation 1:15b:
… 15b and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters (Note: saliva).

Revelation 19:10e:
… 10e For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”

The Word of God and Prophetic Knowledge

There are periods of time in our lives when we approach the Word of God but also time frames when Christ, as the Word of God, enters our realm of time in order to contribute prophetic knowledge and instructs us to take action in faith. Taking action involves uniting His prophetic revelation with the truth of God’s Word in order to be encased in revelatory truth and to go forward with a mandate as a ‘sent one’ (cf. 2 Peter 1:19-21; Ephesians 5:26b-27 i.c.w. James 2:17).

2 Peter 1:19-21:
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 5:26b-27:
… 26b cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

James 2:17:
17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

From this it is clear that it is not enough to merely receive a personal prophetic word in connection with the promise given by God, but to position ourselves in the center of the truth of God’s Word and undergo the circumcision of the heart in order to go into the future with enlightened eyes of the heart in steadfast confidence.

This helps us to reveal the presence of the ‘I AM! - YAHWEH!’ to the people and to call them on His behalf. This call results in the renewing of the mind (cf. John 9:8-9; Exodus 3:14 i.c.w. Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:23-24).

John 9:8-9:
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”
9 Some claimed that he was. Others said, “No, he only looks like him.” But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”

Exodus 3:14:
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”

Romans 12:2:
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23-24:
… 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

The Offense of David’s Messengers

In the context of ‘being sent’, the Lord led me to the Bible passage from 2 Samuel 10:1-5, where it talks about the affront of David’s messengers, whom he sent to Hanun, king of the Ammonites, to show him his condolences and kindness because of the death of his father Nachash, who showed kindness to David during his lifetime.

We, as God’s people, are in a time when the LORD is ending times of governmental rule and remembering our spiritual inheritance to do us good (cf. Jeremiah 29:11).

Jeremiah 29:11:
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This is the reason why the adversary brings up all his arsenal worldwide to block the way of the ‘Ekklēsia – the called out ones’ in Christ Jesus, respectively to decimate them in their quality to make them stand there ashamed and seemingly powerless.

Satan has made use of the weapon of ‘false counsel’ to have governments make wrong decisions that go contrary to the standard of God’s will.
It is said in 2 Samuel 10 that the Ammonite princes overheard David sending his messengers to their king Hanun, whereupon they advised their king wrongly, which later had devastating consequences for them as Ammonite people.

They caused their king by two questions to consider David’s messengers as enemies because, according to them, they had an evil intention, namely to spy on the land in order to destroy it, which was not the fact.

The chiefs of the Ammonites looked through their defiled minds, which led them to incite king Hanun to do an unjust deed by having the beards of David’s messengers half shaved off and their robes cut off to below the girdle, and then letting them go.

When David heard of this without seeing his delegates, he sent messengers to meet them to tell his humiliated servants to stay in the city of Jericho until their beards had grown back.

2 Samuel 10:1-5:
1 In the course of time, the king of the Ammonites died, and his son Hanun succeeded him as king.
2 David thought, “I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, just as his father showed kindness to me.” So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David’s men came to the land of the Ammonites, 3 the Ammonite commanders said to Hanun their lord, “Do you think David is honoring your father by sending envoys to you to express sympathy? Hasn’t David sent them to you only to explore the city and spy it out and overthrow it?”
4 So Hanun seized David’s envoys, shaved off half of each man’s beard, cut off their garments at the buttocks, and sent them away.
5 When David was told about this, he sent messengers to meet the men, for they were greatly humiliated. The king said, “Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown, and then come back.”

God’s Knowing of the Circumstances

Behind this story from 2 Samuel 10:1-5 is a mystery of God that contains direction for us as ‘Ekklēsia – the called out ones’ in Christ Jesus at this time.

We may be sure that the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ can see all humiliating interventions and knew that they would come. In this time, the first priority is to have favor in the eyes of God and not to look or to seek favor in the eyes of the world. If we have favor in the sight of God, He will also give us favor with those whom He chooses (cf. Luke 2:52).

Luke 2:52:
52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

It is necessary that we always be aware of the love of the Heavenly Father with which He surrounds us in all circumstances, as revealed by the name ‘David’, which means ‘the Beloved’.
We move through the instruction of God’s love, which is Jesus Christ, into the time and assigned field that Father sends us to, without being intimidated by any kind of communication, false information or mistreatment.

Even if there are shameful or humiliating situations, they must serve us for the best, because we love God and are called according to His counsel (cf. Romans 8:28).

Romans 8:28:
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Jericho and High Worship

This means based on 2 Samuel 10:1-5, it hides a redemptive strategy that indicates that despite the enemy’s resistance, we pay attention to God’s impending instruction in order to enter into the center of the best, for which the city of ‘Jericho – place of fragrances or city of the moon’ represents, to which David’s delegates, were instructed by him to go until their ‘glory’ was restored.

Jericho was the first city conquered by the people of Israel under the leadership of Joshua. It was consecrated to God in the form of a ‘first fruit’, since all first belongs to the LORD (cf. Joshua 6:17a.19).

Joshua 6:17a.19:
“…17 The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. …
19 All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into his treasury.”

In a prophetic context, ‘Jericho’ indicates high worship, which is a pleasing aroma to God. High worship includes, among other things, worship of the Father in spirit and in truth (cf. John 4:23)

John 4:23:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Understanding this dimension of praise and knowing the positive effect it has on the spirit and soul of the particular worshiper, namely, to bring forth confidence and boldness in the spirit man, David had the time of ‘reproach and shame’ removed from his delegates in Jericho by the time of their stay in Jericho causing their beards to grow again.

It is equally reasonable to assume that David had them clothed in new garments to cover their disgrace. David’s instruction includes the increase of greater wisdom and glory in the truth that is already present. (Note: girdle => cf. Ephesians 6:14a; The garments of David’s messengers had been cut off below the girdle by king Hanun.)

The Hebrew root word for ‘beard’ is ‘sāqēn’ and means ‘to have grown old, to grow older’ and is a reference to the communication of God’s wisdom. (Note: word explanation taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the word key number 2256).

Jericho, in the context of 2 Samuel 10:1-5, represents God’s call to each saint to enter into His presence (Note: fragrance) as well as His time to be enabled to discern God’s timing in order to continue to move forward at the proper time with godly wisdom, understanding and spiritual maturity.

God’s time cycle is a lunar cycle (note: linked to the moon) that announces and indicates the time of the biblical months.
Speaking in a prophetic context, David’s messengers entered the ‘clockwork of God’ at the command of their king in order to return to their king David with greater wisdom and understanding about God’s time.

It is the desire of Jesus Christ that we, as His ambassadors, understand the time of the Heavenly Father as He understood it when He lived on earth.

Revealing Truth, Creative Power, Greater Wisdom and Glory

The movement of David’s delegates is akin to the advancement of the ‘Ekklēsia’ in Christ Jesus in the present time, which is put in a false light by the society of this time.
Yet God encourages us as His people to go forward in the revelatory truth of His Word in order to point out that a time is complete. This makes it necessary to go forward in His creative power and to receive the wisdom as well as the glory of God for the time to come. This enables us to move forward in a greater glory and wisdom of the LORD in the world so that His light of truth is seen and known by the people.

Behind the humiliation of David’s delegates, we as God’s people at this time can see an instruction of the LORD, which implies that Jesus Christ, our king has established a place where we grow even more in wisdom and understanding by forgiving and not allowing the bitterness that can arise from negative experiences to take any kind of root in us.

Even if we do not see Jesus Christ literally before our eyes, He sends us helpers who position us in the center of His will for this time to continue growing toward Him who is the head (cf. Ephesians 4:15).

Ephesians 4:15:
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

This help and orientation in this time will be given to us in the right alignment, which is necessary to have as saints of the Ekklēsia for the coming period of time.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
