On 03/16/2021 | 3’rd Abib/Nissan 5781, the media reported the discovery of fragments of a scroll found in a cave in Israel. These fragments are about 1900 years old and written in Greek.
They contain, among other things, a complete text from the book of the prophet Zechariah 8:16-17, which was quoted in the media and wherein it says:

“These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this, declares the Lord.”

During the news spread regarding this discovery, the current President of Israel Reuven Rivlin was with the current German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin, the German capital.

At this point it should be noted that the biblical month of Abib/Nissan is the time frame associated with the royal tribe of Judah and with the spiritual warfare of kings (Note: leadership; cf. 2 Samuel 11:1a i.c.w. Ephesians 6:12; Psalm 149:6-9).

2 Samuel 11:1a:
1a In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, …

Ephesians 6:12:
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Psalm 149:6-9:
6 May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, 7 to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, 9 to carry out the sentence written against them – this is the glory of all his faithful people. Praise the Lord.

God’s Zeal and the One New Man

Personally, I consider this discovery and the time of its publication as no coincidence, but as a speaking of God to persons who are in leadership and have responsibility in connection with it.
The Bible passage found is about the revelation of the ‘Messianic salvation’ and the zeal of God interceding for Zion and Jerusalem.
In this context, the Holy Spirit speaks to us as saints from the Gentile nations who, together with the saints from Israel, make up the one new man in Christ Jesus, since the Bible text found was written in Greek (cf. Ephesians 2:14-18).

Ephesians 2:14-18:
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups (Note: messianic Jews and saints of the gentile nations) one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,
16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

We, as God’s people, are in a time period where the LORD is judging enhanced unrighteousness in the realm of government according to the standard of His Word, so that it will result in the form of judgment that we, as inhabitants of the earth, will learn righteousness (cf. Isaiah 26:9b).

Isaiah 26:9b:
… 9b When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.
As I read about the discovery and decreed the entire Bible passage from Zechariah 8 about the spiritual realm over Germany, the Holy Spirit emphasized verses 7-8 wherein it is written:
‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.’”

This passage of Scripture indicates that a new era has dawned in which the LORD reveals Himself as a trailblazer in the form of the LORD of hosts (note: YAHWEH ZEBAOTH) who is enthroned above the Cherubim. This presence of God is accompanied by His powerful rest, which encompasses His sovereign activity (cf. 1 Samuel 4:4a i.c.w. Micah 2:13).

1 Samuel 4:4a:
4a So the people sent men to Shiloh, and they brought back the ark of the covenant of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim. …

Micah 2:13:
13 The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”

Prophecy and the Breath of God

As a result, the Holy Spirit activates the breath of God from the four winds of the earth through the power of the prophetic word, so that there is a resurrection of the Messianic Body of Christ in the form of the ‘last Adam’ (cf. Ezekiel 38:9-10 i.c.w.. 1 Corinthians 15:45).

Ezekiel 37:9:
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ”

1 Corinthians 15:45:
45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being” (cf. Genesis 2:7); the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

This movement of the breath of God is like the blowing of His breath into the first Adam, which the LORD blew and thereby raised him up. This enabled Adam to move in the vitality of God in the realm established by God in order to have fellowship with God (cf. Genesis 2:7).

Genesis 2:7:
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

It is necessary at this time that we direct our focus to the higher things, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
This involves the spiritual focus of the governmental dominion we possess in Christ in order to enact His divine will in righteousness according to His plan and will based on the standard of the Word of God from His throne room (cf. Colossians 3:1-4).

Colossians 3:1-4:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

The movement of God’s breath from the four corners of the earth through the prophetic command, which is always accompanied by the will of God, results that believers who have become stuck in different ‘bodies of time’ (note: land of sunrise/east, land of sunset/west) will be redeemed by the blood of Christ (cf. Ephesians 5:15-16).

Ephesians 5:15-16:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity (Note: redeeming the time), because the days are evil.

Being Redeemed out of Temporary Time and Placed in the Eternal Time of God

This detachment in the form of redemption results in the placing into the time of the momentum of God, who is the ‘I AM’ (Note: YAHWEH) and who speaks from the burning bush.
This burning bush encompasses the cooperative blessing of Joseph’s administration (Note: The blessing went out to the tribe through Moses.), which already points as a sign to Christ, the Crucified, the Died and the Resurrected One. This area can be equated with the already empty cross on Golgotha (cf. Exodus 3:2 i.c.w. Deuteronomy 33:16).

Exodus 3:2:
2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.

Deuteronomy 33:16:
… 16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.

Moreover, this disconnection is tantamount to moving from the ‘linear realm’ to the ‘circular realm’ of God, which is an indication of temporary time and the time of eternity.
The Almighty and His Son Christ Jesus reveal themselves as ‘Alpha and Omega’ in the book of Revelation, who is also God, the LORD of the ages (cf. Revelation 1:8, Revelation 22:13 i.c.w. Genesis 21:33; Daniel 7:9a).

God in both characters entitles us to be drawn into the center of His Self in these dimensions, as Jesus prayed in John 17:11b.21:

“Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. …
… that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

The necessity of being removed from the land (Note: time) of sunrise and sunset is because these times carry a type of communication that is not in harmony with the will of God.
The ‘land of sunrise’ carries the communication of ‘becoming’, but in the form of deferred hope, which leads to wrong decisions because it can make the heart sick (cf. Proverbs 13:12a).

Proverbs 13:12a:
12a Hope deferred makes the heart sick, …

When believers speak only of things to come one day, wherein they do not confront present events as God wants them to, because they are too focused on what is to come, there is a lack of focus as well as decisiveness in the now.
It is the heart that is the area where man makes decisions.

The ‘land of the sunset’ carries the communication that speaks of ‘the return of Christ’ or ‘the Rapture’, which results in passivity that waits for God to intervene without being active in faith on a daily basis to advance the Kingdom of God.

This is the reason why God leads His people ‘home’ to the center of His circular, eternal Being, which is a consuming fire in order to speak to the people in His blessings and in the voice of Himself (cf. Deuteronomy 4:24 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:29).
Deuteronomy 4:24:
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Hebrews 12:29:
“… 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Speaking from the center of His paternal Being, it follows that the four rivers from the garden in the midst of the region of Eden are framed in the form of streams of living water in the identity of the Heavenly Father (note: YAHWEH – יְהֹוָה => Yod, He, Waw, He) and that flows to humans so that they hear His voice (cf. Genesis 2:10 i.c.w. John 7:38; Ezekiel 1:24a; Revelation 1:15b).

Genesis 2:10:
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.

John 7:38:
“… 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Ezekiel 1:24a:
24a When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty, …

Revelation 1:15b:
… 15b and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

Accordingly, now is the time to center ourselves in the Father’s will and let go of our own desires as well as ideas of what is to come as related to what once was. Only in this way, from a higher understanding of temporary changes, can we effectively and efficiently advance the building of the Kingdom that is being established in the hearts of people.

God’s eternal plan is revealed today, here and now through the body of Christ in the one new man whose light shines brightly in the darkness, revealing the glory of the Lord to see His plan of salvation fulfilled.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

A few days ago it became known through the media that the pond of Siloah in Jerusalem is filled with sufficient water again after several years. The extensive rainy season last winter ended a six-year dry period.

Since rain in the Word of God is related to the teaching of God, we can see the instruction of God regarding the power of His Word to enlighten the eyes of the heart in order to reveal the light of the world, which is Jesus Christ in the form of the Word of God Himself (cf. Deuteronomy 32:2 i.c.w. Psalm 119:105; John 1:14; John 9:5-7).

Deuteronomy 32:2:
2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.

Psalm 119:105:
105 Your word (Note: in the form of the spoken word => Hebrew: ‘dābar’; Gr. ‘rhẹma’) is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

John 1:14:
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 9:5-7:
5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.
7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

As mentioned before, the pool of Siloah (note: means ‘sending or outpouring of water’ => a reference to apostolic power, since an apostle is a person sent by God) was the place where Jesus healed the blind man who had been blind since birth.

This blindness was a physical blindness, however, it is also indicative of people who are controlled by a religious spirit and now recognize the truth and are freed from the veil of ignorance by the rushing voice of Christ from the throne room of God, which is full of prophetic power (cf. John 9:6-7 i.c.w. Revelation 1:15).

John 9:6-7:
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.
7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

Revelation 1:15:
15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.

In addition, Jesus Christ gave us an important promise at the time of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, where He spoke about the flow of the Holy Spirit (cf. John 7:37-39).

John 7:37-39:
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival (Note: Sukkot), Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.
38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Based on the Bible passage, it is clear that Jesus was speaking of an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in connection with the Feast of Tabernacles, and that we can expect the Holy Spirit to increase in us even more.

The High Priest and the Water of Siloah

Every year at the Feast of Tabernacles, the High Priest performed a prophetic act. He took water from the pool of Siloam/Siloah and brought it up to the temple to pour it out beside the altar.
This symbolized the call to God for the latter and former rain (Note: Latter rain: The rainfall at the end of the rainy season, about March/April; important for the development of the grains of winter cereals.; Former rain: Usually at the end of October or beginning of November, at the beginning of the rainy season, which lasts about six months, necessary after the dry season of summer for new sowing.) to fall on the land.

In this context, this act reveals to us the call to God to send His ‘spiritual rain’ in the present time, which is the outpouring of His Spirit prophesied by the prophet Joel (cf. Joel 2:28-29).

Joel 2:28-29:
28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

The act of outpouring by the priest was performed every day during the days of the Feast of Tabernacles, which is also the feast that celebrates His glory.

The Last Day of the Feast of Tabernacles

On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which was the great feast day, a large crowd of people accompanied the High Priest in the prophetic act of bringing the water from the Pool of Siloam/Siloah to the temple. These crowds witnessed the great outpouring, so to speak. And at that very moment Jesus stood in that place and spoke of the living water:

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the Scripture says, rivers of living water will flow from his body.” John 7:37-38

Based on Jesus’ statement, it is clear that we may expect an inner and even greater ‘pressure’ of the Holy Spirit, that is the first love and is designed to cause the potential of the Spirit already placed in us by God to flow from us in the form of the four rivers as streams of living water.

These streams are structured or embedded in the identity of the Heavenly Father (note: YAHWEH – יְהֹוָה => Yod, He, Waw, He), whose waters flow to human beings so that they hear His voice (cf.

Because of this inner expanding pressure of the Spirit, it is necessary for us to move in the structure of the new wineskin, which must first be moistened and secondly anointed, as Jesus said in Mark 2:22 in order to carry the potential of God’s first love and transfer His words to people.

Mark 2:22:
22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”

The new wineskin includes, among other things, aligning with the right saints for this time, who are open to what the LORD wants to do in this as well as the coming phase of time and do not reject His work, even though Jesus may seem a bit of a stranger at first, much like what happened when He walked on the water at the fourth night watch (cf. Matthew 14:25-27).

Matthew 14:25-27:
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

The Detour of the Water from the Gihon

The inner transformation is also similarly like the detour of the river Gihon by king Hezekiah, who diverted the flowing water to the city of David (cf. 2 Chronicles 32:30).

2 Chronicles 32:30:
30 It was Hezekiah who blocked the upper outlet of the Gihon spring and channeled the water down to the west side of the City of David. He succeeded in everything he undertook.
Hezekiah changed the direction of the flow of the water from the Gihon by diverting it from east to west into the City of David into the pool of Siloam or Shiloah. For this detour, he had workers drill through a massive rock from both sides and meet in the middle at the end, where the breakthrough took place. The length of the ‘sacred tunnel’ was about 540 meters.

The Two Generations and the Rock

The west side serves us as a reference to the time of the past and the east side points to the already predestined promise of God to be brought to the center of His being, which is the ‘I AM’. This can be found in the fact that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
Moreover, the movement on both sides indicates the going forth under the spirit of the prophet Elijah (note: Holy Spirit), who turns the heart of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to the fathers (cf. Malachi 4:5-6).

Malachi 4,5-6:
5 “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes.
6 He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”

The spirit of Elijah is the breath of God that leads to breaking through the obstacles due to coldness of heart in the generations until we see and respect each other face to face, resulting in an inner awakening in the bride of Christ.

As a result, fresh movements of the Holy Spirit flow from her to the people of the world and become a blessing, leading to the blossoming of ‘the desert’ (cf. Isaiah 35:1-10).

The approach of the generations also involves the old generation becoming younger again in their hearts according to Isaiah 40:31 and the young generation becoming wiser as they move forward in the revelation of the new day of God in His essence, as the Eternally Present.

Isaiah 40:31:
… 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The name of the river ‘Gihon’ means ‘to break forth, to break out’. The explanation reveals to us that the Gihon is a reflection of the increasing power of the Holy Spirit in our time, which helps to breakthrough.

The change of the direction of the flow of the Gihon from the east to its destination in the west reflects the way of the high priest when he was performing his service in the temple or also in the tabernacle. He went from east to west, where the Holy of Holies was located.

The coming of the high priest Jesus Christ after the order of Melchizedek will also be like a lightning flashing from east to west (cf. Matthew 24:27).

Matthew 24:27:
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Gihon, the Second River in Eden

The Gihon was the second named river in the Garden of Eden, which flowed around the area of Cush, and in the spiritual context carries the breath of the Father, since the second Hebrew letter in the name of God is the ‘He’, which carries the numerical value ‘5’ and also represents ‘breath’, as well as calling us to see prophetically the things that the LORD reveals.

Therefore, it cannot be considered a coincidence that from Eden emanated a river that divided into four main rivers in the Garden to water it (Note: area of intimate relationship with God the Father; cf. Genesis 2:10-14).

Genesis 2:10-14:
10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.
11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.
12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)
13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush.
14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

This river structure reveals the moving hand of God on the earth as it was a river that divided into four main branches. So a total of five with the river at the point of origin.
In this context, the second place division of the Gihon is significant because its position is related to the prophet or prophetic anointing. It can also be called, in a prophetic context, the index finger river of God that brings forth the mysteries that lie hidden in Jesus Christ.

It is also no coincidence that ‘Cush’ means ‘black’ and the pupil of the human eye is black and is the part of the eye associated with grasping images (cf. Colossians 2:2-3).

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Hezekiah’s Justification and The Water between the Mountains

The waters of the Gihon were diverted by king Hezekiah because the people of Israel were beset by the hostile forces of Assyria, led by Sennacherib (note: means ‘Sin (the moon god) brought me to life’ => increasing power of the moon god – spirit of Islam; cf. 2 Kings 18:13).

2 Kings 18:13:
13 In the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah’s reign, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah and captured them.

The water of Gihon was the water that flowed between the mountains/rock, which also points to the tribe of Benjamin who was at the center of God’s anointing (cf. Deuteronomy 33:12).

Deuteronomy 33:12:
12 About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.”

It was the affliction by the enemy of ‘Assyria’ that resulted in the anointing of God going into action over the people of Israel, so that the power of the evil one was broken over them (cf. Isaiah 10:27).

Isaiah 10:27:
27 In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat.

In order to understand God’s speaking through the detour of the waters from the Gihon, it is helpful to look more closely at king Hezekiah and his life. The name ‘Hezekiah’ means ‘strength of YAHWEH’, which is the call to us to live in the anointing allotted by God for our lives.

Herein, joy in the LORD is given an important place because it is related to strength (cf. Psalm 45:7 i.c.w. Nehemiah 8:10).

Psalm 45:7:
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.

Nehemiah 8:10:
10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The Power of the Wall

King Hezekiah, was a man who understood the ‘power of the wall’ in the midst of tribulation and cooperated closely with the prophet Isaiah, to step into his freedom (cf. 2 Kings 20:1-3).

2 Kings 20:1-3:
1 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”
2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3 “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Hezekiah was aware of the position of the prophets who stayed on the wall of the ‘fortress of peace’, which is their base to prophesy with spiritual overview as well as to bring back ‘Shalom’ into the life of the people.

This principle is equal to the intervention of Isaiah, who went a second time to the deathly sick king Hezekiah by God’s command and prophesied to him a window of ‘EXTRA-GRACE’ (cf. Isaiah 62:6-7 i.c.w. Isaiah 38:4-6)

Isaiah 62:6-7:
6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, 7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

Isaiah 38:4-6:
4 Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah:
5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.
6 And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city.

It is essential for us as that in a humble attitude to the guidance of the Holy Spirit we preserve the relationships among saints across generations and secure them in the further breaking through in our walk in the Spirit in order to make room for the blessing of God in our midst.

Amen and Amen.

Romans 8:28 states that all things must work for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28:
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Redeeming the Positive Value within Evil Time

Since we are also called in Jesus Christ to redeem the time (cf. Ephesians 5:16), I would like to refer to the time of the betrayal of Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver (cf. Matthew 26:14-16).

Ephesians 5:16:
… 16 making the most of every opportunity (Note: redeeming the time), because the days are evil.

Matthew 26:14-16:
14 Then one of the Twelve – the one called Judas Iscariot – went to the chief priests 15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.
16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

To redeem the positive value from the time of Judas’ betrayal, which was an evil time, it is necessary to know what the identity of Judas was and which task was entrusted to him by Christ.
Judas was appointed by Jesus to manage the treasury of the ministry (cf. John 12:4-6).

John 12:4-6:
4 But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, 5 “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.”
6 He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

The name ‘Judas’ translated means ‘praise, worship’. Judas was the son of ‘Simon Iscariot’. ‘Simon’ translated means ‘hearing in the form of answering’ and ‘Iscariot’ indicates ‘a man from Kerioth’. The name ‘Kerioth’ means ‘cities, city complex in the form of places’. (Name explanations taken from the Biblical Dictionary of Names by Dr. Abraham Meister, pages 198, 317, 165, 204).

The Greek word used in John 12:6 for ‘money bag’ is ‘glōssọkomon’ and also means ‘a case for mouthpieces of wind instruments’. It is composed of two Greek words used for ‘tongue’ and ‘order’ as well as ‘jewelry’. (Word explanation taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible for the word ‘purse – glōssọkomon’ with word key number: 1094*).

Based on the name and word explanation, Judas was called in his given identity to contribute in a Spirit-filled way, through the expression of his devotion in the form of worship and stewardship the glorious manifestation of the Kingdom of God. This glorious manifestation comprises the structure of the heavenly Jerusalem on earth that is the Bride of Christ who, out of first love (Gr. ‘agąpē’), serves her King and Bridegroom Jesus Christ.

Breaking with the Power of Mammon

Knowing that Judas had an inner conflict with the power of mammon (note: love of money) because he loved money, Jesus entrusted him with the ministry’s treasury to give him the opportunity to break with the power of mammon by learning to give through Jesus’ instructions (cf. Luke 16:9 i.c.w. Acts 20:35).

Luke 16:9:
9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.

Acts 20:35:
“… 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

The love of money is the root of all evil and is closely related to false worship because Aaron made a golden calf at the request of the people of Israel, which caused them to stop worshiping God (cf. 1 Timothy 6:10 i.c.w. Exodus 32:2-6; Exodus 3:18).

1 Timothy 6:10:
10 For the love of money (Note: Mammon) is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Exodus 32:2-6:
2 Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.”
3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron.
4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.”
5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord.”
6 So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.

Exodus 3:18:
18 “The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices (Note: worship) to the Lord our God.’

The people of Israel had no true confidence that Moses would come back to them from the mountain to lead them. In a similar way, Judas also had his own idea and concept of the building of the Kingdom, so he clashed with the view of his Master Jesus (cf. John 18:36a).

John 18:36a:
36a Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. …

As previously mentioned, Judas’ calling was normally to go forward with the proper understanding of worship based on God’s love (Note: ‘agąpē’) and His order the coming Kingdom in the form of the bride of Christ, who is a cube-shaped city complex made of pure gold coming down from heaven in order to pave the way for the coming generations with the wealth entrusted to him (cf. Revelation 21:9-14, 18).

Revelation 21:9-14.18:
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. …
18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. It is no coincidence that Judas decided to betray his Master Jesus in the center of the Lord’s Supper.

The Lord’s Supper was held in the time slot before Passover in the biblical month of Abib/Nissan and is an expression of God’s first love (cf. John 3:16). It was at this time that Judas decided to betray his LORD and later delivered him to the enemies by the sign of a kiss. The biblical month of Abib/Nissan is associated with the tribe of Judah (cf. Luke 22,47-48; John 13:1-2.21.26-27).

John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 22:47-48:
47 While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, 48 but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

John 13:1-2.21.26-27:
1 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
2 The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. …
21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.” …
26 Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

True Worship and Redemption of Time

We need to use the resources and prosperity entrusted to us by the Heavenly Father to further expand His Kingdom on earth. In this, it is significant that we do not allow the enemy to pervert our focus in worship, who has sought to pervert our attitude in worship in the form of giving.

This perversion would result in us being torn away from the realm of God’s abundance and being placed in the realm of lack, resulting in thieving thinking, such as that possessed by Judas, who instead of giving, chose to receive 30 pieces of silver in order to betray Jesus. The reason is because the realm of lack is accompanied by the fear of having not enough.
Therefore, it is necessary to go forward Spirit-filled and to receive the beginning of the biblical times of the Heavenly Father, heralded with the sound of the Shofar (note: wind instrument), and furthermore, to bless His Kingdom with our giving, so that Jesus Christ is glorified (cf. Exodus 23:15; Exodus 34:18.20d-23; Numbers 10:10; Numbers 28:11).

Exodus 23:15:
15 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread (Note: Passover); for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt. “No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

Exodus 34:18.20d-23:
18 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread (Note: Passover – Crucifixion of Christ). For seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt. …
… 20d “No one is to appear before me empty-handed. …”
21 “Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day (Note: Shabbat – Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Shabbat; cf. Matthew 12:8) you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.
22 “Celebrate the Festival of Weeks (Note: Shavuot – Giving of Torah and Outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost) with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the year (Note: Sukkot/ Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Glory, Thanksgiving of harvest).
23 Three times a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel.

Numbers 10:10:
“… 10 Also at your times of rejoicing – your appointed festivals and New Moon feasts – you are to sound the trumpets (Note: Shofar) over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”

Numbers 28:11:
11 “ ‘On the first of every month (Note: Rosh Chodesch), present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect. …”

The Father wants to teach us, especially in challenging circumstances, crises and shift situations, to place our trust in Him alone and fullness with Him, so that as Blessed Ones we can release blessings from supernatural realms for redemption, which is glory.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm
