On the basis of Jesus’ statement from John 16:13-15, which He made in relation to the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of truth and spoke of the Holy Spirit glorifying Him and taking from Him, the Lord gave me an insight into the revelation of the menorah, the seven-branched lampstand, in order to share.
 
John 16:13-15:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.’
 
As we know, the menorah is made of pure gold and is shaped like an almond tree, with three arms extending from the shaft in the middle to the right and three arms to the left (cf. Exodus 25:31-40).
 
Exodus 25:31-40:
31 ‘Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand – three on one side and three on the other.
33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
34 And on the lampstand there are to be four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.
35 One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair – six branches in all.
36 The buds and branches shall all be of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
37 ‘Then make its seven lamps and set them up on it so that they light the space in front of it.
38 Its wick trimmers and trays are to be of pure gold.
39 A talent of pure gold is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories.
40 See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
 
Commissioned to Shine as Light
 
As saints, we are commissioned by Jesus Christ to shine as light in the world without being hidden by letting our light shine forth in the form of revelatory truth, like the menorah.
 
In a spiritual context, the light of the menorah shining forward can point to the guiding Word, whose revelatory truth leads us to confidently walk our path of righteousness with Christ Jesus (cf. Matthew 5:14-16 i.c.w. Numbers 8:1-2, Psalm 119:105).
 
Matthew 5:14-16:
14 ‘You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
 
Numbers 8:1-2:
1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 ‘Speak to Aaron and say to him, “When you set up the lamps, see that all seven light up the area in front of the lampstand.” ’
 
Psalm 119:105:
105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
 
The fact that God ordered the menorah to be made of pure gold shows us that it bears the attributes of the almond tree, which is highly significant. The almond tree is associated with God’s watchful nature over His word, as He revealed it to the prophet Jeremiah (cf. Exodus 25:31.33 i.c.w. Jeremiah 1:11-12).

31 ‘Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them. …
33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
 
Jeremiah 1:11-12:
11 The word of the Lord came to me: ‘What do you see, Jeremiah?’ ‘I see the branch of an almond tree,’ I replied. [Note: The Hebrew word for ‘almond tree’ is ‘šāqēd’ and is like the Hebrew word ‘šāqad’, which means ‘to be watchful’.]
12 The Lord said to me, ‘You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.’
 
The seven-branched lampstand was made in such a way that, as previously mentioned, a shaft was first created in the middle, from which three arms branched off on the right as well as on the left side, so that the lampstand had seven cups like almond blossoms, on which seven lamps were placed to shine forward (cf. Exodus 25:31-33.36-37).

31 ‘Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.

At God’s instruction, the menorah was positioned on the south side to shine forward in the Holy Place, in this case towards the north, where the table of shewbread stood, on which the twelve shewbreads, also known as the bread of His face, were placed (cf. Exodus 26:35).

35 Place the table outside the curtain on the north side of the tabernacle and put the lampstand opposite it on the south side.
 
For us, this means that this is God’s will for us, that we internalize Him in the form of the Bread of Life, which is Jesus Christ, comprising, among other things, the apostolic teaching, as the light of the menorah shone on the twelve layers of the shewbread to have our spiritual hunger satisfied (cf. John 6:35).
 
John 6:35:
35 Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. …’
 
The Value System Transmitted by God in Written Form
 
Since God chose Israel as the firstborn nation and revealed His value system in written form to Moses on Mount Horeb, the Hebrew spelling, which runs from right to left, is significant (cf. Exodus 31:18).
 
Exodus 31:18:
18 When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
 
In the context of Jesus’ statement that the Holy Spirit takes from Him, I saw the Hebrew name for Jesus, which is יֵשׁוּעַ – Yeshua’. Above each outgoing ‘branch’ of the Hebrew letters of His name, I saw a flame on the tips of each letter, so that there were seven flames. This reminded me of the shape of the golden menorah with its seven burning lamps.
 
I realized that the middle lamp, described by the structure of the menorah, was located in the leftmost area of the Hebrew letter ש – Shin’ and bore a red flame of fire. Starting from this, an orange flame could be seen on the Hebrew letter י – Yod’, a yellow flame on the rightmost ‘branch’ and a green flame on the middle ‘branch’ of the Hebrew letter “ש - Shin”. A light blue flame could be seen on the Hebrew letter ו – Waw’.  There was a dark blue flame on the rightmost ‘branch’ of the Hebrew letter ע – Ayin’ and the outer left branch of it had a purple flame.

The Colors of The Seven Spirits of God
 
God is Spirit according to John 4:24 and He is the God of covenant, and His seven Spirits are present before His throne and are as well part in the Lamb of God (cf. Isaiah 11:2 i.c.w. Revelation 4:5; Revelation 5:6).
 
The rainbow as a sign of God’s covenant consists of seven colors (Note: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, indigo, purple; cf. Genesis 9:8-17) and these seven colors can be assigned to the Seven Spirits of God.
 
John 4:24:
“… 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
 
Isaiah 11:2:
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him –  the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord – …
 
Revelation 4:5:
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.
 
Revelation 5:6:
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
 
Based on the above-mentioned explanation, the Seven Spirits of God are assigned to the colors of the rainbow as the following.
 
  1. Spirit of the Lord => Red
  2. Spirit of Wisdom => Orange
  3. Spirit of Understanding => Yellow
  4. Spirit of Counsel => Green
  5. Spirit of Might => Light Blue
  6. Spirit of Knowledge => Indigo/Dark Blue
  7. Spirit of the Fear of the Lord => Purple
 Within the seven Spirits of God in the form of the burning torches or flames, we can recognize the principle that encompasses the level of God as ‘Elohim’ in the form of the Trinity (Note: ‘ש – Shin’) of His uniqueness as Father and His given love through Jesus Christ (Note: ‘י – Jod’, ‘ו – Waw’) as well as the sphere of togetherness in the form of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Note: ‘ע – Ayin’).
 
It is the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of truth who takes the truth from this realm of knowledge in יֵשׁוּעַ – Yeshua and opens it up to us as His people.
 
Jesus in the Synagogue of Nazareth and the Spirit of the Lord
 
When Jesus took the scroll of the prophet Isaiah in the synagogue of Nazareth (Note: means ‘young shoot that will watch’) and read a part of Isaiah 61 aloud to the assembled people, He spoke of the Spirit of the LORD resting on Him.
 
With this statement, Jesus revealed that He fully embodied the mandate and the maturity that He received from the instructive training of the Spirit of the LORD before the people at that time and that the influence of the seven Spirits of God flowed through Him in their fullness (cf. Luke 4:18-21 i.c.w. Revelation 5:6; John 7:38-39a).

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
 
Revelation 5:6:
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
 
John 7:38-39a:
38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

It was therefore no coincidence that Jesus Christ was in Nazareth at the time of His statement that ‘the Spirit of the LORD is upon him’, which means ‘young rice that will watch’, indicating that the region bore the Word of the LORD from Isaiah 11:1-2, which is about the sprout as well as the Spirit of the LORD and the seven Spirits of God.

The Seven Spirits of God and The Lord’s Government
 
The Spirit of the Lord forms the center of the Seven Spirits of God and in this connection, it is about spiritual government. It means that Jesus Christ fully embodied the government of God to which the Seven Spirits of God belong. The seven Spirits of God are before the throne or originate from it.
 
The seven Spirits of God follow the LORD’s instructions and teach us about His Kingdom, will and purpose so that we may properly represent them on earth.
 
The seven Spirits of God are sent into all the earth according to Revelation 5:6. The reason why they are sent out is because the seven Spirits of God are looking for those who are ready to be trained as sons of God.
 
They are the eyes of the Lamb of God, moving back and forth all over the earth in search of those who are living as sons of God (cf. 2 Chronicles 16:9a i.c.w. Zechariah 4:10b).

9a For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. …

...10b since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth …
 
When God sends something from His throne, it is always with a purpose, a mandate and with authority to carry out the divine mandate. The mandate of the seven Spirits of God is to empower us to establish the Kingdom of Heaven and to embody it as heirs of God before the people who need Him on earth.
 
It is the Holy Spirit taking from the spiritual realm of salvation of the ‘I AM – YAHWEH’, revealing the depth dimensions of Yeshua and His identity. Herein lie hidden many levels of revelation for those who thirst and search for the revelatory truth (cf. Matthew 7:7 i.c.w. Colossians 2:2-3).
 
Matthew 7:7:
7 ‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
 
Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
 
Accordingly, Jesus’ statement that the Holy Spirit takes from Him is a clear indication for us in a closer look at the Hebrew letters of the name for Jesus, ‘יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshua’, that the fullness of God’s revelatory power is present and invites us in Christ to receive from Him in order to share it with others.

On the 3’rd of Sivan 5785 | 30.05.2025, I received a dream in which I saw a gathering place of saints where a prophet was walking around preaching in front of a light blue settee in the shape of the Hebrew letter ‘ד – Daleth’ [Note: has the numerical value ‘4’ and means ‘door’; pictographically, the letter shows an ‘open tent door’]. Four believing women were sitting on it, while the Prophet pointed with his right index finger to his stomach or belly area and then to the belly of one of the women.
 
This woman was seated on the sofa in the upper part of the ‘Daleth letter’. The Prophet was visibly in a birthing or sighing state as he said: It is about the deep things!” He repeatedly pointed with his right index finger to his belly area and then to the woman’s belly.
 
Under the prophet’s feet, I could see the map with the section of the Sea of Galilee (Note: also called the Sea of Gennesaret). The area of the map where the prophet was standing was the deepest part of the lake, as the dark blue color made it stand out from the light blue color of the lake on the map. Then the dream ended.
 
After I woke up, I kept moving the dream in my spirit and knew that it referred to the ecclesia [Note: symbolized by the four women] and its spiritual walk. Essentially, it is about her being destined to reveal access to the truth of God’s Word in the form of wisdom and knowledge hidden in Christ (cf. John 1:14 i.c.w. Colossians 2:2-3).

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Need of Living in Close Relationship with the Holy Spirit
 
According to the spiritual context, the belly area is the seat of the Spirit (cf. John 7:38-39a).
 
John 7:38-39a:
‘… 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’
39a By this he meant the Spirit, …
 
Here it is necessary that we move in a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit who unlocks the truth for us so that we receive the revelatory truth for this time based on the Word of God (cf. John 16:13-15 i.c.w. 2 Peter 1:19-21).
 
John 16:13-15:
‘… 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.’
 
2 Peter 1:19-21:
19 We also have the prophetic message [Note: prophetic word] as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
 
Then I was led to Psalm 42:7, where it says that the waterfalls of God therefore rush, and one deep calls out to the other deep, which is accompanied by His waves and billows that sweep over one.
 
Psalm 42:7:
7 Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.
 
Since the voice of God in the facet of the Almighty and of Jesus Christ is like the rushing of many waters, we can see from Psalm 42:7 in the context of the dream that it is about a deep communication of God to those who are close to His heart, which is related to access through our obedience to His voice (cf. Ezekiel 1:24a; Revelation 1:15b i.c.w. John 10:9).
 
Ezekiel 1:24a:
24a When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty [Note: Shaddai], …
 
Revelation 1:15b:
…, 15b and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
 
John 10:9.27:
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. …
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
 
As people of God, we are in a crucial phase where the Holy Spirit is leading us into a deeper level of the truth of God’s Word that we need in this age and season as well as the age and season to come as the hunger for truth increases among non-believers in society.
 
The Deeper Level of Truth
 
This phase is akin to Jesus going out in Simon’s boat, which is like walking on the waters of the crystal sea in the throne room of God, where the movement of the throne room presence moves in the form of the unspeakably great wheels that are full of eyes and are accompanied by the presence of the fear of the LORD (cf. Luke 5:1-7 i.c.w. Ezekiel 1:16.18; Revelation 4:6).
 
Luke 5:1-7:
1 One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding round him and listening to the word of God.
2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.
3 He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, ‘Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.’
5 Simon answered, ‘Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.’
6 When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
7 So they signalled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
 
Ezekiel 1:16.18:
16 This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: they sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. …
18 Their rims were high and awesome [Note: dreadful], and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
 
Revelation 4:6a:
6a Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. …
 
The Hebrew word for ‘Galilee’ means ‘circle, circuit’ and is derived from the Hebrew word גָּלִיל – gālîl’, which means ‘rotatable, ring, roller’ and is a hint to moving and movement. The whirling movement described by the ‘wheels’ in the book of Ezekiel 10:13 is גַּלגַּל – galgal’ and means ‘wheel; whirl; whirlwind.’ (Note: Explanation of the Hebrew word גַּלגַּל – galgal’ partly taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the word key number: 1562)
 
Ezekiel 10:13:
13 I heard the wheels being called ‘the whirling wheels’.
 
Based on the explanation, we can see that Jesus was leading His disciple Simon, with the companions who accompanied him in the other boat, into a depth dimension of spiritual movement that brought them into contact with the catch of the promise from the sphere still hidden from them. He called them to act in unity as they were all in the same place in the boat on the water with Christ in the deep waters and not on the shore. Will we allow Christ to lead us deeper into the presence of God through His Holy Spirit?
 
It is Jesus Christ who is the way to the Father and, together with truth and genuine spiritual life, is active in us through His Holy Spirit, if we let Him (cf. John 14:6).
 
John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me. …’
 
Our Free Choice of Will and the Supernatural Measurement
 
The prophet Ezekiel also allowed himself to be led into the deep waters of God’s presence through the influence of a measuring messenger from the supernatural realm within a vision, the prerequisite for which arises from the intimate relationship with God and the Lamb (cf. Ezekiel 47:1, 3-5 i.c.w. Revelation 21:22).
 
Ezekiel 47:1.3-5:
1 The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple towards the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. …
3 As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep.
4 He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist.
5 He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in – a river that no-one could cross.
 
Revelation 21:22:
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
 
The measure of 1000 cubits set by God in Ezekiel 47 (Note: a cubit is measured from the tip of the elbow to the tip of the middle finger), is a reference to the full measure that arises from the gospel, the good news – Jesus Christ, and the prophetic anointing, which raises and comforts people in hopeless situations (cf. 1 Corinthians 14:3).

3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.
 
We need to allow the Holy Spirit to measure us so that through the phase of testing and our free choice to go deeper into the Spirit dimension of the Father with Him, we can stand in right reflection in the greater glory He has prepared for those who love Him. This results in our abiding in the realm of the right hollow hand of God to be a part of the glory of the knowledge of God in this age and the age to come on the earth as the waters cover the sea (cf. Isaiah 40:12a i.c.w. Isaiah 11:9b; Habakkuk 2:14).
 
Isaiah 40:12a:
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, …
 
Isaiah 11:9b:
…, 9b for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
 
Habakkuk 2:14:
14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
 
The deeper entrance into the glory of God implies our right understanding about biblical times, which is not out of legalism, but our celebrating in freedom and revelatory knowledge in Jesus Christ, our king.
 
The Increase of the Holy Spirit and the Free Approach
 
Based on Ezekiel’s approach when he drew near to the temple spring in the vision at the instruction of the angel, a reference can be made to the biblical feasts established by God, which are associated with the increase of the Holy Spirit on earth (cf. Exodus 34:23-24).
 
Exodus 34:23-24:
23 Three times a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel.
24 I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory, and no-one will covet your land when you go up three times each year to appear before the Lord your God.
 
Since the water in Ezekiel’s vision flowed out of the temple and it was not a static body of water but a flowing body of water, the water can be seen as the course of time or time cycle ordained by God with its appointed times. In the same way that time does not stand still but moves forward, the water also flowed out of the temple. Each individual phase of the rise of the water of the temple spring was linked to Ezekiel’s obedience and the measure of the divine order of the Heavenly Father, because the angel held a measuring cord in his hand with which he measured 1000 cubits after each step of Ezekiel.
 
In this context, the number ‘1000’ is associated with the biblical ‘full measure of God’ and ‘the multiplicative measure of the angels’ before the throne of God (cf. Daniel 7:10a i.c.w. Matthew 26:53).

10a A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. …
 
Matthew 26:53:
53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions [Note: about 72,000] of angels?
 
Ezekiel made a conscious decision to immerse himself more deeply in the presence of the Spirit. In doing so, he entered new areas of the movement of angels who are assigned by God in the respective levels of heaven and loyally fulfill their tasks there.
 
There have been four phases of increase that should draw our attention to the appointed time frames of God which are the following as
 
  1. the water that went up to the ankles of Ezekiel => Passover (Note: forgiveness and salvation through the blood of the Lamb)
  1. the water that went up to the knees of Ezekiel => Shavuot/Feast of Weeks/Pentecost (Note: includes the gift of faith to trust God for the coming provision/gift of supernatural revelation – the giving of the Torah/the outpouring of the Holy Spirit)
  1. the water that went up to the thigh of Ezekiel => Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles (Note: the feast of the glory of God/thanksgiving for the God given harvest)
  1. the water that covered the entire body of Ezekiel => the spirit-filled path of the body of Christ in the time frames of God and in the fullness of His glory.
In his time, Ezekiel knew how to approach the flow of the Spirit of God so that it increased in dimension of depth. This required Ezekiel to enter a new movement that lightened his burdens so that he moved forward in the Spirit of God in a new way which is from walking to swimming – from the vertical to the horizontal (cf. Ezekiel 47:4-5).
 
Ezekiel 47:4-5:
4 He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist.
5 He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in – a river that no-one could cross.
 
The new movement in the horizontal way of swimming means becoming one with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the water covers the sea and allows us to walk in a stronger time dynamic of the Father and His revelation. It is so intense for us in the measure of faith and trust that the treasures of Christ are brought forth from the depths (cf. Matthew 13:47.52 i.c.w. Daniel 12:3-4).
 
Matthew 13:47.52:
47 ‘Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. …
52 He said to them, ‘Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.’
 
Daniel 12:3-4:
3 Those who are wise[Note: or impart wisdom] will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.’
 
This reference to the interpretation of the dream is intended to encourage us as the people of God to engage in greater devotion and access to the glory of God, to what the Spirit of God points us to and in which God Himself wants to reveal Himself to us in His apostolic-prophetic power, because we cannot live superficially (cf. 2 Corinthians 5:7 i.c.w. 2 Corinthians 13:5).

7 For we live by faith, not by sight.
 
2 Corinthians 13:5:
5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realise that Christ Jesus is in you – unless, of course, you fail the test?
 
Instead, the LORD goes deeper with us as His disciples, provided we allow ourselves to be served by Him in the prophetic anointing, which challenges us, brings us closer to God’s heart and changes us inwardly.

In the context of right stewardship in the Kingdom of God, the word “holy” has a special meaning. It includes being aware as a disciple of Christ that you are positioned in this world by God, but you are not of this world (cf. John 17:14-16).
 
John 17:14-16:
14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
 
When the Word of God uses the term ‘world’ in regards to the system, it means the following levels of society:
 
  • Commerce
  • Industry
  • Finances
  • Education
  • Science
  • Medical Science
  • Law
As saints our hearts should not be attached to these structures. This involves consciously moving as disciples of Jesus in the structure of the Heavenly Jerusalem in the Spirit, while living in the sovereignty of Christ by God-given grace in a financial system established by man.
 
Thus, as disciples, we use the power of finances to establish, amongst others, the realm of ‘spiritual friendship’ (cf. Revelation 21:2-3 i.c.w. Luke 16:9-13).
 
Revelation 21:2-3:
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling-place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
 
Luke 16:9-13:
9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings.
10 ‘Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?
13 ‘No-one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.’
 
Spiritual friendship involves a personal and sincere relationship with another person from face to face (cf. Exodus 33:11a).

The Alignment of Prosperity According to the Word of God
 
This clearly shows that we align our prosperity or wealth, which includes our finances, with the standard of God’s Word. As Jesus’ disciples we are first of all concerned with strengthening the Kingdom economy through the investments of the firstfruits, the tithes, through offerings given into the time frame of the biblical feasts ordered by God (Note: Pessach, Shavout, Sukkoth), alms and special kinds of sacrifices like, for instance, the Remembrance offering (cf. Psalm 103:2 i.c.w. Matthew 6:33).
 
Psalm 103:2:
2 Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – …
 
Matthew 6:33:
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things (note: natural provision) will be given to you as well.
 
As God’s people we need to have the correct insight into prosperity on the basis of God’s Word. By the Word of God we can clearly see that silver and gold are the LORD’s (cf. Haggai 2:8).
 
Haggai 2:8:
8 “The silver is mine and the gold is mine,” declares the LORD Almighty.
 
Because God is Spirit, we can firstly see a spiritual principle at work here emphasizing the importance of the presence of the Word of God (Note: silver, cf. Psalm 12:6), and the gold resulting from this (Note: richness in faith). It is faith that comes from hearing the Word of God (cf. Romans 10:17).
 
Psalm 12:6:
7 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.
 
Romans 10:17:
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
 
The application of this principle involves a lifestyle of worship by the sons of God in Christ Jesus so as to honor the Heavenly Father (cf. John 4:23-24).
 
John 4:23-24:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.’
 
Because of this we may acknowledge that we spend time in the Word of God, for through this our faith continually grows anew.
 
This investment of time into God’s Word results in a greater value, including faith as well as the presence of His glory. The glory of God is connected, among other things, to always generating an increase in every area, because earthly prosperity and wealth have their seat in the spiritual world (cf. Proverbs 22:4).
 
Proverbs 22:4:
4 Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honour and life.
 
The earnest use of finances in the heavens is about entering into the presence of God, connecting with all of the LORD’s provision, then bringing it down to earth and releasing it in its fullness in life for blessing.
 
Through Jesus Christ we have the right to invest into heaven in order to connect with what He already legitimately allotted to us by His victory on the cross and His resurrection, so that we administer it on earth (cf. Matthew 6:20 i.c.w. Ephesians 1:22-23).
 
Matthew 6:20:
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
 
Ephesians 1:22-23:
22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
 
When earthly prosperity comes to us by the grace of God, we need to rightly administer the ‘gold’ He entrusted us with in the form of prosperity on the basis of the truth of God’s word. 
 
This correct way of handling wealth means the sincere exaltation of God. It is similar to the golden objects or the utensils in the tabernacle and the temple that were covered with gold (cf. Exodus 25:10-13.31; Exodus 26:29-30.32.37).
 
Exodus 25:10-13.31:
10 ‘Let them make an ark of acacia wood – two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
11 Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and out, and make a gold moulding around it.
12 Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
13 Then make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. …
31 ‘Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
 
Exodus 26:29-30:32.37:
29 Overlay the frames with gold and make gold rings to hold the crossbars. Also overlay the crossbars with gold.
30 ‘Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain. …
… 32 Hang it (note: the curtain) with gold hooks on four posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold and standing on four silver bases.
… 37 Make gold hooks for this curtain and five posts of acacia wood overlaid with gold. And cast five bronze bases for them.
 
If our prosperity does not have a structure of reverence towards God, the Heavenly Father, it can cause us to fall quickly, because in this case we define ourselves through our own person or our own established structures and cover them with our own ‘gold’ or riches (cf. 1 Timothy 6:10).
 
1 Timothy 6:10:
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
 
Greed or lust after money and wealth is a fallen kind of worship, because the center of worship is money instead of God.
 
Thus it becomes clear to us that, through a wrong attitude of heart, we can engage in misguided financial administration in the realm of the Spirit, which in the end results in falling, as it happened to King Cyrus, for instance, who can also be seen as an allegory for Satan (cf. Ezekiel 28:16-18).
 
Ezekiel 28:16-18:
16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendour. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.
 
Whatever we as sons of God invest for the honor of the LORD and lay down before Him, initiates the process of a righteous heavenly ‘trade deal’ causing us to increase in blessing and strength in Jesus Christ.
 
Thankfulness and Thanksgiving
 
This increase is connected with continuous thankfulness and thanksgiving in true worship of the Father, which means we as mature sons have learned that God is the giver of all good gifts, and we should be rich in a meek (Note: humble) way (cf. James 1:16-17; James 4:13-15).
 
James 1:16-17:
16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
 
James 4:13-15:
13 Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’
14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15 Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.’
 
Accordingly, we constantly consecrate our personal economy by keeping our hearts as disciples focused on the Master, Jesus Christ, who has preceded us in everything. Thus we protect our inner man from false worship (Note: a false sense of security in existential abundance) in order to live as a living sacrifice for the glory and honor of God, which is our calling (cf. Romans 12:1-2).
 
Romans 12:1-2:
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.
 
We invest our time into fellowship with God’s word, which teaches us wisdom and grace for relationships (Note: with the Father in the Heavens, with ourselves, and our neighbor) we have been entrusted with. We invest our time into relationships God entrusts to us, while investing finances into God’s Kingdom and generating blessing for our environment through the work of our hands.
 
In everything, we sanctify ourselves in the use of the resources entrusted to us, having the clarity and complete certainty that, according to the Word of God, we are urged to live purely in everything and to be free in all existential circumstances (cf. 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 i.c.w. Philippians 4:12-13).
 
1.Thessalonians 4:7-8:
7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.
 
Philippians 4:12-13:
12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
 
Therefore the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of truth, guides us in our daily administration in order to faithfully help us, as administrators in God’s Kingdom, take the blessing from the supernatural realm and bring it into the natural realm of relationships (Note: every relationship, whether professional or personal), so that we submit material values under the immaterial values of the LORD.
