The field of flowers

I saw a field of flowers- different colors, all small field flowers, very pretty and although they looked fragile they were actually very tough. I saw a heavy boot walking and trampling them underfoot. Walking over and over the field (Estonia). You would think they would be crushed but when they were crushed they sprang back up again.

A change in this year 2008

This year there will be a change in the spirit realm and in the very atmosphere that will never be reversed. The Lord said to me, "I will take the weight out of the boot." Although there are religious spirits and old controlling spirits that have tried again and again to take over they will never have the same affect as they have had in previous times.

There is a crack already widening in the concrete of set-in-stone mindsets and people will embrace new things and new people and new liberties. The old guard will allow the new generation guard to rise up and take their place and take authority in the Spirit and walk alongside and then give a push from behind.

The songs of ZION

Leaders of the old established churches will smile at things they frowned upon and the Spirit of God will be released in many places. What you can't say, you can SING. YOU CAN SING THE SONGS OF ZION THAT WILL BREAK STRONGHOLDS. It's not just words but it is the anointing on the words and on the songs, and new songs will come from Estonia and music and musicians and worship groups will rise and bring the Word in the songs and in the worship.

Flags and Banners

Flags and banners will also make declarations - what people cannot hear they will see, and what they can`t see they will hear. A link in the Spirit to Israel will release finances and blessings in the nation.

The creaking Sound

We declare old doors that have been closed to the move of God will OPEN - the hinges will be oiled. There will be a sound like a creaking as you gear when big heavy doors open that have gotten rusty. But when you hear the creaking don't be disturbed, be GLAD for God is moving, and pray for the oil to oil the hinges of the ancient doors of this nation. Estonia COME FORTH - it is time for Estonia is a gateway, a doorway of entrance for many.

The Fashion Industry

The fashion industry will make it's mark and there will be a move of God on the children. Speak and declare that the Christian designers and businessmen and women will find their voice and use their position to make an impact not just in Estonia but in Europe.

Bright Ribbons

I saw bright ribbons, yellow gold (glory) blue ( revelation, green ( new life) purple ( royalty) white (purity) stretch from Estonia to Australia and New Zealand. They made a bridge in the Spirit. "Go over, go over to down under, there is a blessing to give and receive."

Ephesians 5,26-27:
"...so that He might make it holy by cleansing it, washing it with water and the word, and might present the Church to Himself in all its glory, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind, but holy and without fault."

Ironing the Wrinkles

Have any of you felt as though you've been placed on God's personal ironing board and the heat of the iron has been moving across your life to get the wrinkles out? If so, you are not alone! I have personally never been as aware of the spots and wrinkles in my life as I have been in the past six months. Although this can be disconcerting at times, the good news is that the "pressing of our lives" is a sovereign act of God, not a work of our flesh or personal strength. It is also the confirmation that we indeed are part of His beloved Bride who is being prepared for Him.

Since the beginning of 2008, it seems as though God has taken a bottle of "Shout" (the stain remover) in one hand and a very hot iron in His other hand and has been applying both to every area of our lives and hearts. But, like the commercial for the stain remover says, we indeed want the Lord to remove every stain in our lives and "Shout it out."

Though it is a joint effort between God and His Bride, it still is a sovereign work of grace. It is all about His shout and our surrender, His authority and our submission, and His grace and our dependency. It is not a shout of bitter anger, but a holy anger against all that has kept His Bride from being fully His. He is shouting over our lives, "She is mine and she will have no other gods beside Me!"

A Time of Preparation

Our God is preparing His Church to be presented to Him in "glorious splendor" (see Ephesians 5:27). Though we have longed to be holy and clean, often we have tried in our own strength to prepare ourselves. God has been stripping all the masks of holiness and disguises of religion off of His Bride. He is dealing with that which is both internal and eternal - her heart! It is as though all of our old "wineskins" have burst in and we are being prepared for the new wineskin, but the time from the old to the new has been a time of nakedness and exposure.

There are choices we have in this time of nakedness - run, hide, and find a "covering" such as Adam and Eve did in the garden. Or, we can stand naked before God in absolute dependency on His mercy and grace and allow Him to cleanse and wash us from all our filthiness. We can choose to sew together an apron of fig leaves or we can come and allow the grace freely given to us through Christ to clothe us and take away our shame.

This process is not to cause us shame but instead free us from the shame that we have hidden under these masks we wear. It is important to understand that with every deep work of the Spirit there is also a great battle that contends against it. During this time of preparation from the old to the new (which involves the exposure of everything that is not covered by grace), the enemy has sought to shroud God's people in a heavy weight of guilt and shame. God, in His great wisdom, has come to wash us with pure water and the truth of His word.

We cry out like David in Psalm 42:1-2.

Psalm 42,1-2:
"As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before Him?"

God longs for us to stand face to face before Him, clothed in the righteousness of Christ alone. He does not want us to come with any manmade coverings or hidden shame. He is overjoyed to cover our shame and remove our iniquity as He quiets us with His love. Stop reading for a moment and take a deep drink of His cleansing water.

Gracious Living

A number of months ago, my husband and I went down to the historic center of our city to have breakfast together. We parked our car in front of a shop that had recently gone out of business and I noticed two things that prophetically stood out to me. The first was the address of the business. The numbers on the window were "111."

When I saw the numbers on the storefront window, I instantly had a vision of God with a stopwatch in His hand. As He clicked the watch to reset it, instead of the triple zeros ("000"), I expected to see, I realized the display read "111." God spoke to me that He was giving His people a fresh start, but we weren't starting from "zero" or "nothing." Our starting place is the Triune God, the "three-in-one."

Ephesians 4,4-6:
"There is one Body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."

Then I noticed the name on the storefront window: "Gracious Living." Right away I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me and say, "If I were in the business of 'selling' grace, I too, would be out of business."

The whole message of grace is that it is "freely" given, therefore God is still in business! As we entered this year we entered a year of the manifestation of His amazing grace. His grace alone is what we are to be fully dependent upon. There is one God and one God alone and He is the only one that saves by grace. He has invited and continues to invite us into "gracious living" - the place where we live by grace alone.

We do not need to look for a covering because our covering has been provided through the righteousness of Christ! He is our covering. We can let go of the guilt and shame of the manmade masks and disguises - of hiding from Him, and we can know that we are fully received, fully loved, fully accepted and fully covered!

He has reset the stopwatch for those who are running this great race. The numbers are at 111 and they will remain there throughout the race because it is He alone (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) who will carry us to the finish line.

Paul, in Philippians 3:9, wrote, "...(I want to) be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith."

Face to Face

Now that we are reminded that we can stand before God, face to face, through the grace given to us and through the righteousness of Christ, we can let go of any belief that we have agreed with concerning guilt and shame.

I know a young man who has recently become engaged to be married; he is American and she is Canadian. Due to the process of immigration, they cannot be married for another year. The separation is agonizing for this young couple who are so deeply in love. They decided that the young man would leave his home in America for a few months to be near her in Canada while she works on her immigration status.

This young man's parents were a bit alarmed at this because during their engagement, the wise thing to do seemed to be to stay in the U.S. and work in order to save money for their upcoming marriage because he cannot work in Canada. When his parents asked him about this, his response was this, "I know that it doesn't make sense, but I must be face to face with her!"

This is a beautiful picture of the Lord's longing for His Bride. He too left His home to be face to face with her and to redeem her to Himself. Still today He is longing for the face to face intimacy of feeling the breath of her love in His senses. I believe that there will be a lot of things that the Lord asks of us in the near future that will not make any sense to the wisdom of men in even greater measure than in the past. It is all about His longing for intimacy and to be face to face with His Bride.

There is a place of leaving the confinement of what we have "known" and even what we have learned, and entering the place of living according to the moving of His longings. Yet to know the longings of the Lord, you must get very near because they are whispered in moments of intimacy.

Holy and Acceptable

Romans 12,1-2:
"I therefore urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercies, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and pleasing to God, for this is the reasonable way for you to worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God's will is - what is proper, pleasing, and perfect."

Finally, I want to encourage you to allow the Lord to do even a greater work of transformation within you through the renewing of your minds. I think that even those who consider themselves intimate lovers of God can fall into a rut in which they begin to walk by what they have learned rather than by the leading of the Spirit.

We can become so accustomed to the Christian life (by walking in all that we have learned) that we begin to initiate on His behalf because our minds have once again taken the lead. Though these thoughts and ways may even be based in Biblical truths and Godly teachings, knowledge apart from the Spirit's leading can cause us to move in a direction that the Lord may not be going.

We want to know the will of God that is proper, pleasing and perfect! We do not want to assume the will of the Lord can be discerned by past experiences or teachings, but instead by walking in the face to face intimacy that goes beyond every mental exercise or natural thinking. Personally, I want to live in the place of His "longings." I want to be the answer to His longings as He is the answer to mine. I want to hear and move from the place of hearing His whispers. We are being invited into this kind of face to face living that prepares us as that Bride without spot or wrinkle.

"The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' Let everyone who hears this say, 'Come!' Let everyone who is thirsty come! Let anyone who wants the water of life take it as a gift!" Revelation 22:17

A New Level of Worship

The Lord has revealed that many in this hour who will worship Him will actually be taken into His ecstasy. These ones will find themselves lost in His wonderment, amazed by Him and His miracles, going into places in worship they have never been before. Due to their newly found freedom in Jesus, some of these individuals will be freed from the prison of their souls as they experience this new level of worship - Ekstasis Worship.

The Definition of Ekstasis

Many people have asked me questions about Ekstasis Worship. In this article, I will share what it means and how to move into this new level of worship in your own life.

The word ekstasis is a Greek word; in our English, we would say ecstasy.

Ekstasis - Greek word for:

• trance
• moving beyond oneself
• finding freedom from the perceived constraint of time and space
• being in a state of amazement
• being astonished by
• being of one mind, beside one's self - insane
• throwing of the mind out of a normal state

Let's look at a few terms often used when speaking of Ekstasis:

• amazement
• a feeling of great surprise or wonder
• astonishment, shock, speechlessness, awe, wonder and wonderment
• ecstasy
• an overwhelming feeling of great happiness or joyful excitement
• chiefly archaic, an emotional or religious frenzy or trancelike state, originally one involving an experience of mystic self-transcendence
• rapture
• a feeling of intense pleasure or joy
• the transporting of Believers to Heaven at the second coming of Christ; rapture is a way of being transported

I know you may be saying, "What?"

But listen to what we say sometimes: "I want to be raptured with God." Now feel that...Where are you going? What are you feeling? Are you seeing yourself rising up? Are you feeling intense joy? Are you moving beyond yourself? This is Ekstasis. Ecstasy.

Happiness is one thing; bliss is another, suggesting a state of utter joy and contentment. Ecstasy is even more extreme, describing a trancelike state in which one loses awareness of one's surroundings.

Although rapture originally referred to being raised or lifted out of oneself by divine power, nowadays it is used in much the same sense as ecstasy to describe an elevated sensation of bliss. Transport applies to any powerful emotion by which one is carried away (i.e., a transport of delight).

When happiness is carried to an extreme or crosses over into mania, it is called euphoria. Euphoria may outwardly resemble ecstasy or rapture, but upon closer examination, it is usually found to be exaggerated and out of proportion.

Now you have a definition of Ekstasis.

True Joy

How many times have you felt the intense joy of God - "The Joy of the Lord is my Strength"? There is fullness of joy in His presence.

Now, can you imagine this intense emotion of joy? Some emotions, like this one, make us want to move, dance and jump up and down. Now add music - a beat. Keep thinking about His joy - your strength. Now the joy is more than you can contain! You begin to move outside of your normal state of mind. You are in the presence of the Lord. His Word says to praise Him in the dance. Dance = joy. When we begin to praise Jesus, He comes and inhabits our praise. We can then go places with "Daddy."

This joy doesn't have to come from any certain style of music. Worship is not a genre of music. Throughout history in Christianity, worship has been considered by most Christians to be the central act of Christian identity, as the personal act of lifting one's mind and heart to God.

I was talking to a friend the other day about the words she wrote for a song. I asked her what kind of music was right for the song. She said to me, "You know, normal worship music." I then said, "What is normal worship music?" I continued, "I am a black man, and what I call normal is not normal to you, because you and I are from different cultures. Different cultures and races of people have different styles of music."

What I am saying is that it is not the style of music that puts you in the ekstasis of God. It is your relationship with Jesus. Also, worship is not just music. Music is only a part of worship; worship is a lifestyle of adoration of the King of Glory. Worship is to adore Him.

Astonishment & Amazement

Let's look at the words astonishment and amazement. As I was researching the word ekstasis in the Greek lexicon, these two words came up as ekstasis. Here are a couple of Scriptures that in the Greek used the word ekstasis.

Mark 5:42:
"And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment."

Luke 5:26:
"And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, 'We have seen strange things to day.'"

These words, astonishment and amazed, are ekstasis in the Greek, and, as we said earlier, mean: feeling of great surprise or wonder; astonishment, shock, speechlessness, awe, wonder and wonderment.

In these Scriptures, the people were in ekstasis (ecstasy) over a miracle of God. This is one expression of ekstasis. This is the first area of Ekstasis Worship I want to achieve in a worship service.

Trances

The next definition of ekstasis is when it is used to describe a trance.

Acts 10:10-11:
"He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw Heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to Earth by its four corners."

Acts 11:5:
"I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from Heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was."

Here the word trance is also ekstasis in the Greek. We see ekstasis being used in the definition of moving beyond oneself. Here is, I believe, a state of being in the presence of God. I see this happening as people are praising God in the dance. Psalm 150 says to praise Him in the dance. The psalms say He inhabits the praises of His people. The sheet comes down and He comes and sits in your praise dance.

Freedom!

I have one more characterization of the word ekstasis that I really like. The Greek lexicon gave reference to lutron, which means:

• the price for redeeming
• ransom paid for slaves and captives, for the ransom of life
• to liberate many from misery and the penalty of their sins

In looking at the definition of ekstasis, it also said:

• Freedom
• Find freedom from the perceived constraint of time and space

I thought about my own life and how God brought me into freedom. Freedom from my own prison of drugs, freedom from homosexuality, WOW! Right now I am going into His ekstasis - freedom from a man-pleasing spirit. Wow! Oh, more of His ecstasy is coming over me now - the freedom to tell the world about His glory. I am in amazement just thinking about His freedom and how He paid for my lutron. It puts me in a state of ecstasy!

Your Assignment

Here is an assignment for you! This next week, begin to look for the ekstasis of God in your life.

• How many times in your week does the amazement of God happen for you?
• How often do you find yourself in extreme joy?
• How often do you feel like dancing and rejoicing in His presence?
• How many times in this week does God just "blow your mind"?

Choose to release some extreme praise this week. See how He comes and sits in your presence and takes you into the joy of His presence.

Scripture Meditation

Week One:

Psalm 149:1-5 (The Message):

"Hallelujah! Sing to GOD a brand-new song,
praise Him in the company of all who love Him.
Let all Israel celebrate their Sovereign Creator,
Zion's children exult in their King.
Let them praise His name in dance;
strike up the band and make great music!
And why? Because GOD delights in His people,
festoons plain folk with salvation garlands!
Let true lovers break out in praise,
sing out from wherever they're sitting,
Shout the high praises of God."

Week Two:

Luke 5:22-26 (New King James Version):

"But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, 'Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, "Your sins are forgiven you," or to say, "Rise up and walk"? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins' - He said to the man who was paralyzed, 'I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.' Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, 'We have seen strange things today!'"

Week Three:

Acts 11:5-8 (New King James Version):

"I was in the city of Joppa praying; and in a trance I saw a vision, an object descending like a great sheet, let down from Heaven by four corners; and it came to me. When I observed it intently and considered, I saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And I heard a voice saying to me, 'Rise, Peter; kill and eat.' But I said, 'Not so, Lord! For nothing common or unclean has at any time entered my mouth.'"

Week Four:

2 Samuel 6:14-15 (New Living Translation):

"And David danced before the LORD with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the LORD with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams' horns."
