I still hear comments such as, "We have invited them to church several times, but they will not come" or "If we can just get them to church, then the Lord will touch them, and they will get saved."

The gathering of the saints should be the gathering of the saints, and yes, we should welcome unbelievers to our gatherings, but better yet, lead them to Jesus first, then bring them to the gathering for equipping.

You Are The Temple

When we realize that we are the house of God, then God is everywhere we are. He is just as powerful in me, whether I am on a mountain top, by the sea, in a Mosque, or in an organized church meeting. There is no question there is magnified power and presence in Christ when two, three, or 30 gather in His name, but His power resides in you through the Holy Spirit--all the time. The Holy Spirit in God's people often has been dormant outside of Sunday, and outside of church meetings for much of Christian history. The Kingdom of God wants so much to impact every aspect of our lives: every day, every minute, every breath, every step, every territory, every person, and every system we engage with.

We need to have the mind of Christ, living out the life of Christ through us. Wherever Jesus walked, ministry happened. Whatever Jesus did, there was ministry. Whomever Jesus met, there was ministry. Whomever He touched, there was ministry. When He walked into the building, there was ministry, and when He walked out of the building, there was ministry. When He prayed, it was ministry; when He played, it was ministry. When He worshiped, it was ministry; when He loved unconditionally, it was ministry. His life was ministry from the time He woke, until the day was done, and so, likewise should our life be.

Expect God Moments Right Where You Are

A transformed Kingdom personality now is not bound by systems, because they are not of the system. They may be in a system, which takes the form of church organizations, families, corporations, governments, culture, etc. However, they are not only in the system, but of His Kingdom. Life or death, success or failure, take on whole new meanings in those that are consumed with Christ, impassioned, and empowered for His Kingdom glory.

When a business man or woman are "Kingdomized," they get up each day excited for what the Lord will have for them that day. They begin to walk and flow in His "now" presence all day long. They begin to hear what the Father hears. They begin to see what the Father sees, regardless of what they hear and see in the natural. When they go into a meeting, they expect His presence to break down walls while bringing divine insight. When they walk into a potential business deal, they expect divine favor. When they encounter hostility, they realize that this person is hurting and needs a healing word spoken--but mostly needs love.

When they drive through their neighborhood, they pray for their neighbors and ask the Lord for His desire and love to reach them. God begins to open opportunities to touch those around them. They desire relationship.

Go Therefore And Love

Our life is about loving God and loving others in everyday life--in your home, in your business, and in your corporate gatherings. Don't just wait for the corporate times to impact lives. You are a ready instrument now if the Holy Spirit is within you. He is always ready to impart His love and mercy through you. Be ready, be willing, and be obedient to deliver His love and His touch wherever you go. Speak from your heart, live the Gospel of love, and be the Gospel to the world. It must be authentic, and it must be birthed from His love.

The Kingdom of God is relational--supernaturally relational. So watch for the people the Lord joins you with. Most conversions come from relationships. Don't just invite them to church for ministry--you are also the ministry.

First love them, be real, and watch love lead them to knowing who you know. Once Jesus has set them free, you can invite them to the gathering, training, and corporate worship centers to grow and relate with others. They will become part of your Kingdom family and now have the opportunity to extend the Kingdom way to their people.

His presence is within you wanting to impact every jurisdiction. Watch the gates of resistance come crashing down as you bring His presence and your faith to combustible kingdom influence. Expect revelation, expect impartation, and expect miracles whenever you show up. Vision and dreams will become regular realities of Kingdom life, and what was once possible, now becomes probable, all to the glory of our King.

What a glorious Kingdom, what a glorious God!

"I Have Chosen to Give You the Kingdom"

The Lord has spoken to me on numerous occasions, during the last two years, communicating His desire to move great wealth into His Kingdom work. Here are some excerpts:

"I desire to give you good things (Matthew 7:11). I want you to be ready to receive them. Seek after Me (Matthew 6:33). I AM a loving God; come to Me. I provided gold, frankincense and myrrh to My Son, Jesus, when He needed it (Matthew 2:11-14), and I want to provide for you when you need it and are ready to receive it.

"I AM the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exodus 3:6). I AM your God, I AM the God who gives you My Spirit. I AM the God who loves you just as you are. I see you as perfect through the blood of My Son Jesus. I AM calling you to come with Me to the next level. It is a beautiful place. I AM the perfect Father, your never-failing Dad. As My child, when you jump into My arms, I will never fail to catch you. You are My beloved child in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17).

"Prepare! Prepare! Prepare! I am moving wealth into the Kingdom. Be prepared! Now is the time to prepare. DO NOT WAIT!

"PREPARE, PREPARE! Very significant times are ahead--SOON--a mighty outpouring of My Spirit and of My Kingdom! PREPARE, PREPARE! Don't let things happening around you cause you to fear. I AM in the wind, I AM in the fire, I AM in the shaking. I AM in all these things. PREPARE for My great outpouring. Don't wait. Move forward in My power and in what I plan to do through you.

"I will give to My beloved, even in his sleep (Psalm 127:2). You are My beloved ones; receive what I am giving you. I have chosen to give you the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). Take it; take it forward, even violently. (Violently refers to being violent with the demonic forces; see Matthew 11:12.) Do not wait; take the plans I have given you and do not hesitate to move forward.

"You Are on the Edge of Where I Have Been Taking You"

"I AM bringing you forth into a broad place (Psalm 18:19; 118:5-6). This is your place. There is peace and joy there. Let go of stress and worry--they are not allowed in the broad place. Relax and rest (Matthew 11:28). You are My conduit, in My time and My way. So relax and rest. The battle is Mine, not yours (2 Chronicles 20:15).

"Many of you are on the edge of where I have been taking you. When I say 'jump,' jump off the edge; don't hesitate. I will catch you and take you up to a new level. Be ready to listen. I will be giving you many instructions at that level. As I AM blessing you, turn and bless those around you. There is plenty to go around; you just have to take that first step of faith. Encourage each other; do not be negative. Encourage each other; do this in significant ways, now! Fear, there is too much fear. Stop being fearful; that is from the enemy. I am here to bring you My peace, joy, grace, love. Breathe in My peace, My joy. Do not allow fear or worry to reside. I am speaking, listen to Me. My words are full of love.

"Prepare for My outpouring. It will be pressed down, shaken together and overflowing (Luke 6:38). You are to be My change-agents. I am taking care of you. Change will come as you operate in My peace."

(December 30, 2007) "I AM calling out to you. Fall down before Me, worship Me, and I will raise you up to new levels. This is the 'Year of New Doors' (2008). I will open them for you (Revelation 3:8). You will be amazed at what is on the other side. Keep in mind that you are in warfare. Awesome things are on the other side of the doors I will open for you, but don't be surprised when the enemy shoots at you. Keep your armor on (Ephesians 6:11), and know that I am good and that I protect My children. You are in the palm of My hand and nothing can reach you that I do not allow."

Wealth for God's Kingdom Work

The Lord has been speaking to many of us over the last few years about His plans to move wealth into His Kingdom. He is looking for people who are willing to be His conduits, and who will actively prepare to be used in this way. Here are some Bible references about God moving the wealth of the nations:

"Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, and the wealth of the nations will come to you." Isaiah 60:5

"Your gates will be open continually; they will not be closed day or night, so that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations..." Isaiah 60:11

"But you will be called the priests of the Lord; you will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of shame, you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will shout for joy over their portion..." Isaiah 61:6-7

"'I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD of Hosts. 'The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,' declares the LORD of Hosts." Haggai 2:7-8

Dr. C. Peter Wagner wrote an excellent article entitled "Kingdom Philanthropy" (posted on Elijah List, June 20, 2006).

In it, he said, "We now live in the Second Apostolic Age in which the Biblical government of the Church has come alive once again. The Holy Spirit has begun speaking to the churches about taking dominion of God's creation as God originally intended us to do. Our 20th Century goal of saving souls and multiplying churches has been expanded to aim for nothing less than transforming our society." Dr. Wagner also noted, "My sense is that we are looking at unbelievable quantities of wealth moving from the control of the kingdom of darkness, to the control of the Kingdom of God."

How to Actively Prepare to be a Conduit for God

I believe God is going to do this transference on at least two levels. The first level applies to all of us. This is a call to be totally out of debt and to stay out of debt. To do this you need to prayerfully lay out a written plan. This is essential. List out all your debts, and a prioritization of what you should pay off first, second, and so on. Then commit time to asking the Lord for provision to pay off these debts. Don't fail to pay tithes (giving God a portion of your income); this is very important.

The Lord actually invites us to "test" Him by tithing (see Malachi 3:10). Journalize by writing down God's answers as you go through this process, so you do not miss seeing how He is providing. Your written plan should also include steps for staying out of debt, and how you will put additional funds into His Kingdom, beyond tithing, once you are fully out of debt. Then ask the Lord to help you get your house in order, both literally and figuratively. If you do not have financial reserves, build some. If your home needs repair, do it. If your car is breaking down, repair or replace it.

The second level in transference of wealth into the Kingdom is becoming a conduit for God. This should come after you are out of debt. Though the Lord desires all believers to be free from debt, fewer people are called to this level of being a financial conduit. Is this a desire of your heart (Psalm 37:4)? Are you being called to this? Are you willing to prepare for this?

Again, planning is critical at this next level. Ask the Lord to let you know clearly if He is calling you to this. As He gives you confirmations, start writing out plans for how you will distribute funds He channels through you. You really do need His wisdom here, as this is not nearly as easy to do as it seems. Large infusions of funds into some churches or other non-profit organizations could actually damage them if God is not leading you to give there.

He desires for us to give not only with a cheerful and generous heart (2 Corinthians 9:7), but also to give wisely and responsibly. Funding Kingdom work does not always mean just contributing to and through organizations. The Lord may lead you to directly help a neighbor, or someone you know at work who is hurting financially.

It is very important to give as anonymously as possible. Jesus said to give secretly, and not let our left hand know what our right hand is doing when we are giving (Matthew 6:1-4). These are not your funds. God is looking for those whom He can trust to pass wealth along.

Do all you can to give the glory to Him and not to yourself. This is not about being noticed by people, but loving and honoring the Lord, and loving and serving others.

"Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats filled with new wine." Proverbs 3:9-10

"But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth..." Deuteronomy 8:18

Dave Kelley

One of the great Old Testament prophecies regarding the promised Messiah is Isaiah 11:1-2. This passage prophetically foretells the anointing to be resident upon the Messiah, Who would usher in a new era in human history. It declares:

"There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of His roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. His delight is in the fear of the LORD, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears..."

God's "Sevenfold Spirit" is a wonderful mystery to highlight the functioning of the Lord's Spirit in the earth. It is not in contradiction to the triune nature of God but a perfect and complete expression of His Spirit that demonstrates the fullness of His character and power. The Spirit of the Lord doesn't "have" wisdom and revelation, counsel and might, knowledge and reverential awe; He "IS" all of these.

The Book of Revelation uses the phrase "Seven Spirits of God" in four passages. It is taken from two Greek words:

Hepta= meaning seven or more appropriately sevenfold.
Pneumata= meaning a plural rendering of spirits, breath or wind that can also be used to describe a singular object or person.

The seven aspects of the Holy Spirit provide a more clear definition of His nature. The Spirit of the Lord is an expression of who He is while wisdom and revelation, counsel and might, and knowledge and the reverential fear of God are what He is.

The Jewish Bible records Revelation 4:5 as follows:

"From the throne came forth lightnings, voices and thunderings; and before the throne were seven flaming torches, which are the sevenfold Spirit of God."

The Lord's Ministry

A simple examination of the four Gospels clearly illustrates the functioning of this manifestation of God's Spirit through the One who is our perfect example. However, it does not end there! Astonishingly, the Lord Jesus prophesied that as He was sent by the Father so also are we to be sent by Him. He goes further emphasizing the works that He did we shall do also and even greater works shall we do because He has ascended to the Father. We simply cannot fulfill this responsibility with any anointing less than the full manifestation of the sevenfold Spirit of God.

The Bride of Christ is to be "bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh." The body is to be an extension of the Head. We are called to carry on in these last days the fullness of the Lord's ministry to bring in the harvest of the ages through a many-membered body. The Lord is depicted as a lamb slain having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 5:6 declares:

"And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth."

The sevenfold Spirit is a complete representation of His revelation (seven eyes) and power (seven horns) essential to accomplish His plan in the earth. In order for the Church to do the works that He did, fulfilling John 14:12, this same manifestation of the Spirit must also rest upon her! The Lord promised to baptize us in the Holy Spirit and fire; the Seven Spirits of God are manifested in fire.

Consecration and Preparation

It is no small responsibility for someone to be anointed in fullness with the sevenfold Spirit of God. Much prayer and preparatory refining must usher in the release of this powerful spiritual reality. Careful adherence to the leading of the Spirit must also follow in the administration of these mantles of the Spirit's attributes. It will be the responsibility of God's fivefold ministry gifts to prepare the Bride for her end-time anointing. The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are given for:

"...the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:12-14

There are numerous forerunners that have gone before us as spiritual prototypes to demonstrate a mature life in God and the fullness of His anointing. John G. Lake was described as a 20th century apostle of faith. Even after experiencing great success in evangelism and miraculous healings and deliverances, he describes being propelled into a deeper place in God following a nine-month season of prayer and fasting. It was there that he discovered the fullness of Christ that catapulted him into a much higher plain of revelation and power clearly demonstrated in the last decades of his life.

His messages vividly outline the progressions in his life that brought him to the place of total surrender to become a "Christ-man," as he put it. For those who have been so prepared, the Seven Spirits of God will become a reality in this present age. The Church has seen only an isolated few willing to pay the price and endure the persecution to become a mature man and the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. Even so, this generation will produce a company of "dread champions" anointed in this way; an invitation is being extended to whosoever will.

Divine Pairs

The Seven Spirits of God work together in pairs. The spirit of wisdom and the spirit of understanding work in harmony with one another. The spirits of counsel and might work in unison as do the spirits of knowledge and reverential fear of God, all flowing from the manifestation of the Spirit of the Lord.

The gifts of the Spirit are appropriations of the Spirit operated by His will when the need arises. We do not possess the gifts; rather the gifts are manifested according to need. All nine gifts of the Spirit can operate within a believer filled with the Holy Spirit. However, the Seven Spirits of God are measurably greater demonstrations of the Spirit taking the mature and purified believer deep into God's mysteries and power.

The Seven Spirits of God are "mantles" placed upon the believer to operate in full measure. It is a wonderful thing to receive a word of wisdom; but it is altogether greater to walk in the spirit of wisdom. The "mantle" that rested upon Elijah and Elisha was an Old Testament representation of this reality. An examination of the messages and miracles demonstrated in these ministries reveals the functioning of God's sevenfold Spirit. The distinction is that the Spirit descended upon these prophets as the need arose while we are promised an abiding presence that is perpetual.

The Spirit's anointing that came upon these Old Testament prophets rested for a season until God's mandate was complete and then it lifted; in the ministry of the Lord Jesus the Spirit remained, tabernacled in the Son of God. The Bible declares that the Heavens opened and the Holy Spirit descended as the appearance of a dove and remained. This is our promise as well!

Wisdom and Revelation

For the purposes of this month's study we will emphasize understanding of wisdom & revelation. We will address in next month's newsletter counsel & might and knowledge & reverential awe.

For the release of the mantle of wisdom and understanding we must pray and ask for it and the integrity to steward it well. The apostle Paul taught us that in Ephesians 1:17-19. Equipping and instruction will result, helping us to appropriately understand the Biblical offices and administration. We must earnestly desire these mantles and pray for the maturity, character, and grace to be endowed with them. Their benefits are enormous:

1. The eyes of our hearts are enlightened.
2. Insight to know what is the hope of His calling.
3. What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
4. What is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.

The spirit of wisdom is the supernatural ability of God that comes upon our spirits to see Jesus as He is and receive a spiritual understanding and knowledge of God's word that enables us to know what to do, when to do it and how to do it in every situation. It also reveals God's manifold and unsearchable wisdom and secrets affecting His plans and purposes. It means a deeper intimacy into the things of God.

The Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father and the Bride is to be seated with Him in Heavenly places. Therefore, this places the Bride at the right hand of the Father with Him. In this place, the Lord can communicate in a moment of time--insight that would take many hours and even months to unfold otherwise. If we will learn the art of waiting on God, we will discover the mysteries of the Kingdom through these mantles.

Spirit of Understanding

The spirit of revelation/understanding is a comprehension of the things of God providing understanding with the mind giving insight with perception. Wisdom and understanding means the insight into the true nature of things with the ability to discern mode of action with a view to their results. It is the ability to not only know the things of God but also the application of them practically.

Revelation is the comprehension imparted into our spirits from the Holy Spirit and transmitted into our minds. It is the voice of God speaking to our spirits and informing our minds of that which God is going to do; the unfolding of hidden secrets to us by the Holy Spirit; and the revealing of mysteries and insight into the future.

Daniel 1:17 and 5:11-12 conveys that Daniel was anointed with this same spirit and how it functioned in his life. As with Daniel, it will enable us to understand God's plans and purposes in the unveiling of Himself. Gabriel came to Daniel saying, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding" (Daniel 9:22). Following that commissioning, Gabriel unveiled tremendous visions with far-reaching implications and then explains their meaning. As demonstrated by this great prophet, humility and an excellent spirit are vital attributes in the operation of the spirits of wisdom and revelation.

Our Mandate

The spirits of wisdom and revelation will enable us to understand the deep mysteries and purposes of God that are kept hidden. The apostle Paul stated in Romans 16:25:

"Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past..."

Paul's ministry clearly revealed mysteries of the Kingdom with this anointing and mantle of the Holy Spirit. When the spirit of wisdom is resting upon you, even while meditating upon the Scriptures, suddenly deep truths are instantaneously imparted. The spirit of revelation is then present to give understanding of Truth and its relevant application.

Wisdom & understanding provides knowledge of the Godhead and allows us to know God more affectionately, leading to intimate appreciation of God Himself; the inner beauty of the Lord is His grace and Glory. Likewise, we must adorn the inner man with meekness and humility. The inner beauty of God is His grace; the beauty of holiness. The spirit of wisdom and revelation will give us the comprehension of these aspects of God.

As 2 Corinthians 3:17 declares:
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
