As God's people, we will be increasingly led to the structure of His Kingdom and its power, which also leads to challenges of entering new areas of activity. For this reason it is essential that we continually renew our minds referring to the changes coming along with it (see Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:23).

Romans 12:2:
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23:
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; …

In this context I would like to refer to the term „marketplace apostle“. Even if this term is not literally mentioned in the Word of God, it is advisable now to know what this term describes.

The Term of a Marketplace Apostle

The term marketplace apostle, deriving from the word “marketplace” also meaning economic apostle, describes a believer in Christ (note: man/woman) who is empowered to be effectively operating in the field of economy and herein to advance the Kingdom of God. This effectiveness includes having the focus on the kingdom of God (see Matthew 6:33) as the ability of systematic establishment, support and development of business and ministry fields in financial, strategic and personnel terms.

This form of apostolic ministry in the body of Christ is based on Ephesians 4:11-15, in which the ministries serve with the purpose to equip the saints. The Greek word used in Ephesians 4:12 for “perfecting, equip, prepare” is the word “katartismos”. It’s root word is “katartizō” which means “to complete thoroughly, that is, repair (literally or figuratively) or adjust: - fit, frame, mend, (make) perfect (-ly join together), prepare, restore” (note: excerpt from the Strong’s Concordance G 2675).

According to biblical standards, it refers to the meaning of the alignments that one chooses to have as a believer in the body of Christ.

Persons in the Word of God operating in the field of authority of the marketplace apostle were, e.g.:
  • Joseph (note: resource administrator in Egypt on behalf of Pharaoh; see Genesis 41:39-49),
  • Bezalel (note: leading craftsman in the house of God; see Exodus 31:1-5),
  • Deborah (note: leading judge in Israel and prophetess at the time of judges; see Judges 4:4),
  • Paul, Aquila, Priscilla (Acts 18:1-3).
It is the desire of God for us as His people to enter the structure of messengers of kingdom power and to move in this world to bring real change.

Since Jesus Christ is king and priest, spiritual maturity of a believer in Christ is required to serve effectively in these fields of authority.

The Mature Character and Order of Melchizedek

=> Our established spiritual character in Jesus Christ in its maturity is connected with the order of Melchizedek. (see Hebrews 5:5-6).

Hebrews 5:5-6:
5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.” (see Psalm 2:7)
6 And he says in another place, “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” (see Psalm 110:4)

Within this order, the functionality of sonship in Jesus Christ can be described as a tree with four boughs with its branches, structured as follows:

1. king
2. priest
3. oracle (note: Word of the Lord)
4. legislator.

The tree trunk represents the sonship in Jesus Christ Himself (see Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:7-8 i.c.w. Isaiah 61:3).

Psalm 1:3:
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.

Jeremiah 17:7-8:
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Isaiah 61:3:
… 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Abraham and Melchizedek

At the time of Abraham it was Melchizedek, the king of Salem, who came out to him and revealed to him the law of God's love and grace through the gift of bread and wine (see Genesis 14:18-20 i.c.w. John 3:16; Matthew 26:26-28; Hebrews 5:5-6; Hebrews 9:11-12).

Genesis 14:18-20:
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High,
19 and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.
20 And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Matthew 26:26-28:
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 9:11-12:
11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.
12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.

The Function of a King and His Mature Character

The function of a king is, among other things, to possess and manage wealth in order to administer justice as to bring mercy and grace in order to help people (see Psalm 72).

Therefore, in order to become a king, a mature spiritual character is essential. One part of character progress implies learning about the cross of Jesus, which includes the significance of sacrifice.

Learning about the cross of Jesus becomes even recognizable when people are facing challenging circumstances in life, so that it becomes obvious whether they have understood and comprehended the sacrifice in Christ to an extent, that they can apply it or not. <= (note: This part of the message given in “=>” is based on a teaching about the order of Melchizedek from the book “The Order Of Melchizedek”; ISBN: 978-1-911251-08-8; SOT Publications by Ian Clayton.)

Jesus Christ as King and the Field of Duties of the Marketplace Apostle

The field of activity of the “marketplace apostle” is embedded in the structure of Jesus Christ as eternal king, who is connected with the eternal capital of Israel as His priesthood is linked with the eternal temple within this capital (see Matthew 21:4-10.12-13 i.c.w. Revelation 21:10.22).

Matthew 21:4-10.12-13:
4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet (see Zechariah 9:9):
5 “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on.
8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” …
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.
13 “It is written (see Isaiah 56:7),” he said to them, “ ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”

Revelation 21:10-22:
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.
16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long.
17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick.
18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.
19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,
20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

The Economy of the King and the Territory

Because of this we should be aware that the King's territory is linked to the economy within His place of government. This means that the economy (note: business transactions) is a key human activity. It was important for Jesus Christ to perform some of His miracles and teachings in the midst of the public and commercial spheres.

Many of His disciples and followers came from different economic sectors or what we call industries (note: for example: fishermen, tax collectors, noble/influential women and men, …; see Luke 4:1-3; Matthew 9:9; Luke 8:3; Acts 17:4-12).

Even Jesus Himself has the background of coming from an economic field because He grew up under the care of Joseph, the carpenter and his wife Mary.

The Use of the Term “Marketplace Apostle”

The reason why it is advisable today to apply the term “marketplace apostle” is because there are followers (note: men and women) of Jesus Christ in the business world who prioritize the kingdom of God and manage to advance the kingdom of God by their economic empowerment.

It is necessary that we as the body of Christ should not only speak of the task of leaders and apostles within the body of Christ, but also acknowledge this ministry (note: hidden) in the business world.

The Church of Jesus as an Organism

The true church of Christ is not an organization, but rather an organism in which the blood of Jesus circulates. Furthermore, it is not linked to any building, nor to any specific denomination or group of people. The church of Christ is an organism made up of saints from all tribes, tongues and nations who have taken up their cross to follow Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God wherever He leads them – even to death (see Revelation 5:9; Revelation 12:11).

Revelation 5:9:
9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Revelation 12:11:
11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

As people are supposed to work having their economy in their daily lives and sometimes spend much of their time with their jobs, it is God's concern that true ministry is about serving men right where they are.

In this matter Jesus Christ should be our role model, who did not intend to establish an organization, but to build up people by meeting them where they had been and where their center of life and their daily work was. And following this example, our going out into the “world” means to be able to work in the areas of life of others and to have an influence in order to become Christ's ambassadors for them. Hospitality is also a key for the body of Christ to reach people with the Gospel and to serve them not in theory but by practice.

From this point of view, some questions can be left out from the perspective of the organization as to how and with what to lead people into churches (note: getting people to come), as they will be happy to do so if they can already truly experience God's love through our surrender.

This requires faithfulness of each individual saint to live a life in the love of the Father and in close fellowship with the Holy Spirit in true sonship through Jesus Christ. Only in this steadfastness does any recognizable credibility grow and can be seen so that it can bless and positively change our environment.

The Two Pillars of the Temple of Solomon

Taking a closer look to the area of the entrance of the temple of king Solomon, it also shows the importance of the priesthood and the royalty.
The area of the temple entrance was constructed with two pillars. The right pillar was called “Jach(k)in – He will establish.” and the left pillar was called “Boaz – In him is strength.” (see 1 Kings 7:21)

1 Kings 7:21:
21 He erected the pillars at the portico of the temple. The pillar to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.

In this case Jachin represents the priesthood, because Jachin was a priest in Jerusalem after the exile (see 1 Chronicles 9:10).

1 Chronicles 9:10:
10 Of the priests: Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin; …

Boaz, on the other hand, reveals the kingdom in the expression of the businessman, because at the time of Ruth he was a respected and influential businessman as well as a forefather of king David (see Ruth 2:1; Ruth 4:21-22).

Ruth 2:1:
1 Now Naomi had a relative on her husband’s side, a man of standing from the clan of Elimelek, whose name was Boaz.

Ruth 4:21-22:
21 Salmon the father of Boaz, Boaz the father of Obed, 22 Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David.

Kings and Priests

Therefore, as saints in Christ Jesus we are called to be kings and priests (see Revelation 1:6; Revelation 5:10).

Revelation 1:6:
… 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Revelation 5:10:
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign2 on the earth.”

These two areas of authority are the basic pillars within us as being his temples (see 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Peter 2:5).

1 Corinthians 3:16:
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

1 Peter 2:5:
5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house1 to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Comparing the relationship of the priesthood with that of the kingdom in the Word of God, it becomes clear that about 92 percent of the people of Israel were considered to be kings (note: 11 tribes of Israel) and about 8 percent priests (note: Levi). It is obvious that the field of duties of the marketplace apostle or the relevant ministries and other mantles of anointing should be much greater (note: appreciated) than the full-time field of duties within the church.

The same percentage as mentioned above can also be found in the Word of God among the saints who worked in the economic sector and in companies as well as farmers, fishermen, military personnel or government officials. Relatively few saints, such as Samuel, Ezra and Ezekiel, were priests/prophets in the sense of what we would call full-time ministry.

Mature Believers and the Harvest Field

Consequently, it is important that we as body of Christ understand that it takes mature believers who are willing to go into the harvest field, that is outside a “church or congregational context”, including, among other things, the large economic sector or business world.

It takes mature believers who are ambassadors for Christ and familiar with the ways of the king to effectively represent Jesus Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:20).

2 Corinthians 5:20:
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

This biblical principle has not been abolished, but is still valid and exists today.

Being in ministry in the field of economics, may it be self-employment as well as in the respective workplace determined by God, is set to serve people on behalf of God. This kind of service (note: ministry) is of a duty that worships the Lord (see Ephesians 6:6-7).

Ephesians 6:6-7:
6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, …

The Workplace Environment and God-given Skills

Our work, talents and skills given to us are holy in God's eyes. As we begin to truly put this into practice, we will see more and more how the Kingdom of God intensifies in our field of work. The presence of the kjingdom of God is increasing in every place where the Heavenly Father gets worshiped in spirit and truth (see John 4:23-24).

John 4:23-24:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Acting on behalf of God in our work place environment, our abilities and gifts is our expression of worship and gratitude, which we give back to the Lord as our expression of honor.

For example, if we experience a negative event in our workplace and act according to the rules of the kingdom of God, acting in His love such as applying forgiveness and having patience to bring about continuous change, then the kingdom of God influences and even expands in this area.

Since God, the Heavenly Father, does not impose His desire to have relationship with us upon anyone, it is advisable to take Jesus Christ as an example and act the way He did. Jesus revealed the kingdom of God by giving His life through the love of God for people and also for those who had crucified Him (see Mark 10:45).

Mark 10:45:
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Conclusion

In summary, regarding the term marketplace apostle, it means that these believers are ministers who are proven and active leaders in the business world as well as outside of an organized “church”.

In the Word of God, Joseph is a very good example of such an apostolic minister. Joseph worked outside his family to save them later in the time of famine in order to position them properly (see Genesis 41:56-57 – Genesis 46:1-8).

The titles of the fivefold ministries (note: apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd, teacher) should not be used to put them before the names of people. The identity of any believer in the sonship of Jesus Christ is anchored in the Heavenly Father and recognized in the invisible world.

The value of our identity as sons of God does not result from any title, but only from our relationship with God the Father in Jesus Christ and our faithfulness in ministry to Him and towards others.

The titles of the fivefold ministries refer only to their respective functions (note: anointings, characteristics of their effects).

Those who are already in an alignment with ministers according to their own calling should therefore continue to proceed faithfully in order to be appointed/ordained at the right time by the Lord, which honors the order of God in the body of Christ.

Anyone who wishes to place himself wholeheartedly into the ministry of God's Kingdom with his life may trust that the Spirit of God will recognize him/her in mature personal faithfulness and character progress at the right time and lead him/her to an alignment in apostolic understanding.

Amen and Amen.

The Sobriety Of God And The Visitation

Times come and times pass. There are times of joy and times of sadness. There are times of life and also times of death, as is revealed to us in the book of Ecclesiastes (see Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Ecclesiastes 3:1:
1There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: …

Then there are times where the LORD wants to visit us in a special way. During those times God may speak to us in a serious manner, because He wants to make sure we don't miss His visitation and the blessing connected to it.

The Correct Weight And The Right Measure

In regard to the time of the visitation of God, Holy Spirit emphasized the scripture from Deuteronomy 25:13-15, which describes the correct weight before the eyes of God.

Deuteronomy 25:13-15:
13 Do not have two differing weights in your bag – one heavy, one light.
14 Do not have two differing measures in your house – one large, one small.
15 You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

It is important to the LORD that we understand the norm of His right measure, and don't carry two different measures or weights in our hearts.

The Weighty Glory

The weight the LORD speaks about in Deuteronomy 25, is connected to the presence of His glory, with which He wants to descend on His people in this time.

=> The Hebrew word for „glory“ is bôd; it means „heaviness, honor, approval, dignity, glory and majesty“. The Hebrew root word is „kābēd“ and means „to be heavy, heaviness, burden“. The Greek word is doxa, which we know from the term doxology (note: glorification of God).
In regard to His appearance, the glory contains honor, esteem, power and blessing. Taking into consideration all these definitions, glory aims to establish someone as an important person, who “carries weight”.
The presence of God automatically causes increase in every area, because earthly wealth and riches are based in the spiritual world. The glory is the automatic storage place for the anointing, <= (The word explanation is based on an explanation from the „Prophet`s Dictionary„ by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 237 as well as from the Elberfelder Study Bible with word key number: 3593)

The Weight In The Bag And The Measure In The House

From Deuteronomy 25:13 following we can conclude that it is important to God that we don't carry mixed weights in our bags, neither should we have different measures in our house.
It is about our personal and our communal life with God. It is about our heart attitude towards God and towards our neighbors, who are apostolically connected to us.
We received this divine directive for correct weight to protect us: when God comes with His glory and He does not find the right measure in the heart of a believer and in the respective congregation of saints, then God's glory can be destructive.
With God there is no partiality, but He looks on the heart of a person (see 2 Chronicles 19:7; Romans 2:11 i.c.w. 1.Samuel 16:7b-c).

2 Chronicles 19:7:
7 Now let the fear of the LORD be on you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

Romans 2:11:
11 For God shows no partiality.

1.Samuel 16:7b-c:
… 7b-c For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”

Insufficient Weight And Insufficient Measure

With God, the different weights and mixed measures mean an insufficient weight and are connected to past behavior. It means, the weight or measure of the past is not sufficient for the present or future times. We can't expect the glory of the new time from God, if we merely carry the weight and measure of the past (note: our experience, understanding, knowledge, …).

In this time the LORD starts to appear with the power of His new wine and challenges believers in the old wine skin to have their minds and spirits renewed to be able to carry God's glory for this time and the future (see Ephesians 4:23-24 i.c.w. Mark 2:22).

Ephesians 4:23-24:
23 ...and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Mark 2:22:
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins – and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.

This time is a highly explosive spiritual time. It is therefore vital to carry the correct weight and measure of the LORD for this time in ones heart.

The Call To Examine

It is important now for every believer in Christ Jesus to examine his “bag” (note: personal life) and his house (note: communal life) for the right weight and measure.
Every single believer is responsible before God for his relationship to God and his neighbor.
Believers in spiritual leadership carry an additional responsibility, namely for the souls entrusted to them; for this they should receive special respect. This kind of responsibility matches the weight of the house (note: congregation of saints), (see 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; 1 Timothy 5:17; Hebrews 13:17).

1 Thessalonians 5:12-13:
12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labour among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, 13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

1 Timothy 5:17:
17 Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in preaching and teaching.

Hebrews 13:17:
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.

If we as God's people want to receive the greater glory of God which is connected to greater weight and responsibility, it is vital that we carry the correct weight of the LORD for this time in our hearts and gatherings.

Compliance With The Righteous Measure Of God

Conforming to the righteous measure of God for this time is important, just as the people of Israel did in the time of Moses, when he instructed six of the twelve tribes of Israel at God's behest to speak the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the other six tribes he instructed to speak the curse on Mount Ebal.
Here, the whole people of Israel agreed with the order of blessing and curse by saying “Amen!” (see Deuteronomy 27:12-13).

Deuteronomy 27:12-13:
12 “When you have crossed over the Jordan, these shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
13 And these shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

As God's people we need to be aware of the righteous character of God. This does not just mean blessing, but it also carries consequences, if we do not move according to His word and standard (see Romans 7:7-13).

Romans 7:7-13:
7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said (see Exodus 20:17), “You shall not covet.”
8 But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead.
9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. 10 The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.
11 For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me.
12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.
13 Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.

Through Jesus Christ we as God's people are able to live according to the divine standard (see 1 John 1:7-9).

1 John 1:7-9:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Earnest Discipleship

We should be aware that a life in discipleship with Christ is not a merry-go-round but is about earnest advancement which requires a sincerity in our hearts.
When we are true and sincere towards our Heavenly Father, the blood of Jesus has the right to cleanse us and restore us where necessary.

The „Burden-Message“

In combination with the correct weight or measure for this time, the LORD further told me that it is about His “burden-message”.
There was a time in Jeremiah's life, where God did not want to release a “burden-message” to His people (see Jeremiah 23:36).

Jeremiah 23:36:
36 But ‘the burden of the Lord’ you shall mention no more, for the burden is every man’s own word, and you pervert the words of the living God, the LORD of hosts, our God.

But there is a“ burden-message“ in this time in the spirit realm, which we need to understand correctly. It is not about a negative burden, but about responsibility for the weighty things about to be released from the throne-room, and is similar to the scrolls which were handed to the prophets by the angels at the behest of God. These scrolls were sweet in their mouth, but bitter in their stomach (note: spirit; see Ezekiel 3:1-3; Revelation 10:9-10).

Ezekiel 3:1-3:
1 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat whatever you find here. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.”
2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me this scroll to eat.
3 And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

Revelation 10:9-10:
9 So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
10 And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it. It was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.

If we as people of God do not carry the correct weight and measure for the future glory in our hearts in this time and the time to come, then this glory will be destructive, as mentioned before.
If we have the right relationship with God, the Father, we we do not need to fear this destruction.
It is the LORD'S longing that we as His people are very close to Him and are one with Him (see John 17:20-23).

John 17:20-23:
20 “I (note: Jesus Christ) do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

The Fields Of Harvest And The Leftover Ears

At present there is an occurrence on the fields of the spirit, where the ears of corn can be likened to the souls of people.

The LORD told me that the fields are white for harvest, but there will be ears (note: people) during the harvest, who will be left behind by God, as they do not carry the right measure in this time (see John 4:35 i.c.w. Deuteronomy 24:19).

John 4:35:
35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I (note: Jesus Christ) tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.

Deuteronomy 24:19:
19 “When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

To the ones left behind it might seem as if God has forgotten them. However, this is not the case, as God has a greater goal and bigger plan in mind.
These seemingly forgotten ears of corn are believers, who want to remain in past experiences (note: what the LORD has done in the past). This kind of heart attitude does not pose a problem for God, as God is a God of grace. It means, God is sending Ruth-like movements to harvest the “field of the bridegroom” by drawing these believers close to the heart of Jesus, the bridegroom, so that they experience the first love (see Ruth 2:7-9a-b.15-16).

Ruth 2:7-9a-b.15-16:
7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.’ So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest.”
8 Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women.
9a-b Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? …
15 When she rose to glean, Boaz instructed his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.
16 And also pull out some from the bundles for her and leave it for her to glean, and do not rebuke her.”

While the saints have harvested the fields and continue on in joy with Jesus Christ by leaving their past behind them and, like Paul, strain towards what is ahead (see Philippians 3:13-14), the believers not harvested at that time will go through a special inner process.

The Inner Process

This inner process feels like the tearing of the curtain in the Holy of Holies, as it happened at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ(see Luke 23:44-46).

Luke 23:44-46:
44 It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, 45 while the sun’s light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.
46 Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

This feeling of the „curtain-torn-in-two“ will take place in the hearts of the respective believers, thus it will have an impact on the emotions. It happens in this way, because strangers, orphans and widows will come into their “fields”, so that the respective believers feel their inner pain to become a great blessing for them (see Deuteronomy 24:19 i.c.w. Galatians 6:2)!

Deuteronomy 24:19:
19 “When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Galatians 6:2:
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

The Blessing Of The Leftover Ears

The blessing of the left behind „ears of corn“ results in a supernatural transformation, as strangers become friends, orphans become sons and widows become wives.

The Hebrew word used in Deuteronomy 24:19 for leaving the ears behind, is „šākaḥ“ and is connected to „misplacing something for lack of memory or concentration“. (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible with word key number: 8195 and Strong's Concordance with word key number: H7911)

According to the above mentioned word description it means, that the harvesters continue on their way after finishing the harvesting process and leaving the field, because they already got in touch with their future, so that they leave the remaining ears of corn on behind.
Even though the harvesters feel an inner pain or sadness about leaving a few ears behind in the field, they are no longer able to return to the field, as it is God's plan to use the remaining ears for His honor to bless those people whose status is to be changed according to His will.

The Reason For Incomplete Harvesting

Those spiritual fields were not harvested, because there are strangers, orphans and widows who carry the pain of rejection and loss in their hearts, which the Heavenly Father wants to heal and transform through the “ears of corn” that were left behind.

The strangers, orphans and widows come to those believers, who at the time of their visitation were stubborn and not prepared to leave the past behind to advance into their future with the LORD.

It is a matter of the hand of God touching the hearts of believers, so they can fully relate to the strangers, orphans and widows.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

Concerning the restoration of time, the apostle Paul spoke to the believers in Ephesus and urged them to redeem the time (see Ephesians 5:15-16).

Ephesians 5:15-16:
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

In order to understand the redeeming of time correctly, it is important to realize that time has a value from God's point of view. It is the devils plan to rob this value of time.
The enemy's robbery consists in overwhelming or distracting the people of God with the things of everyday life so that they do not submit themselves to real fellowship with the Heavenly Father.

The Beginning of Time

To understand the process of redeeming time more deeply, it is good to know the origin of temporary time.
Time began with the existence of heaven and earth.
The first measure of time was created when God spoke His word over the earth's “tohuwabohu – without form and void”, by saying that light should come into existence to create the first day - it included the separation of light and darkness (see Genesis 1:1-5).

Genesis 1:1-5:
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

The light that God spoke into existence was not sunlight, but the basic source of light from eternity, because the lights of the temporary time (note: sun, moon and stars) were created by God on the fourth day (see Genesis 1:14-19).

The Mystery of the Daylight of God

This eternal light of God is Jesus Christ who reveals the mystery of time from the first day of creation (see John 1:1-5).

John 1:1-5:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The first day reveals the movement of Jesus before His Heavenly Father, who “played” between the Father's sphere and the world, while He was moved to restore the dimension of “earth” in the order determined by the Father.

I am convinced that Jesus, while taking part in the creation process, always returned into the Father's arms after He had finished “playing” (note: creating) in the sphere on earth which was reflected by evening and morning on earth.
We gain a better understanding of how Jesus played before God and what He created by looking at the Hebrew word for “light/daylight” used in Genesis 1:1-5.
The word used there is “ôr” and means, “to become bright, bright, to shine, to radiate, to inflame; it symbolizes life, joy, well-being, guidance, God's power, glory and grace.”

Jesus actually weaved the life of God, His glory, His passionate love and joy into the earth, into which Adam and Eve should enter later, as well as all generations to come.
Therefore, as people of God, we can look confidently forward to living in eternity in the perfect presence of His eternal light (see Revelation 21:23)!

Revelation 21:23:
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

The Value in Time

This explanation shows us that the value in our temporary time comes only into existence when we speak the Word of Truth paired with love and the revelation of God to people, so that they recognize their true value of time and thus will be able to redeem it.
If someone does not recognize a value in time, there is no reason to redeem the time.

Fellowship with God, the Father

God, the Father, has set a value in temporary time, because He longs to have fellowship with us.
To make us as human beings aware of His longing to have fellowship with Him, He has woven dates (note: appointed times) into our time for orientation which He has linked to the seventh day that the Word of God calls Sabbath (see Genesis 2:2-3).

Genesis 2:2-3:
2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

The original purpose of the Sabbath is to allow man through this divine set time frame to breathe a sigh of relief before God in order to experience the goodness of God that is accessible for him.
This becomes clear through the creation of Adam, who was created by God on the sixth day and first entered into fellowship with God before he began to do his job in the garden.
This means that God, the Father, is not first and foremost interested in our works, but rather in our heart and relationship to Him.
This expression of love is not a mandatory task, but consists of seeking and worshiping God in Spirit and in truth (see John 4:23-24).

John 4:23-24:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The Divine Alignment of Time

For this reason, it was important to God to give us as human beings a time of orientation that He had set for us which He linked to the people of Israel in order to give us revelation of His times and the value therein.
For Moses, God even commanded the time to align properly so that every day, every week, every month and every year had to move in the blood of His Son Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, and it must still do so today to help us step out of captivity and into the glorious freedom of the sons of God (see Exodus 12:1-2; Deuteronomy 16:1 i.c.w. Romans 8:2)!

Exodus 12:1-2:
1 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year.

Deuteronomy 16:1:
1 Observe the month of Aviv and celebrate the Passover of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night.

Romans 8:2:
… 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Through this divine arrangement of the months, time became a powerful instrument that carries the possibility of redemption and life to this day through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God!
It was the blood of the sacrificed lamb that was smeared on the upper threshold and the two doorposts of their houses by the people of Israel in the midst of Egypt, in the biblical month of Aviv/Nissan (see Exodus 12:5-7).

Exodus 12:5-7:
5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats.
6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight.
7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs.

The Free Decision in Temporary Time

God has given us the temporary time so that we can freely decide for Him and enter into an appointment with Him; this implies an intimate love relationship which results in wisdom, and there we give ourselves to Him, expressing our praise and thanksgiving in Jesus Christ (see Matthew 22:35-40 i.c.w. Ephesians 5:15-20).

Matthew 22:35-40:
35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “ 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Ephesians 5:15-20:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Presence of the Holy Spirit in the Human Body

In the same way as liquid, when poured into a vessel, fills it, our invisible being (note: spirit and soul) fills the human body, our profile, given to us by God. Through the acceptance of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit flows in our lives so that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (see Romans 8:9 i.c.w. 1 Corinthians 3:16).

Romans 8:9:
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:16:
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

This our inner being, given by God, fills everything in our body, including every part of the body and the organs, so that we can express the power of divine life before the people.
It doesn't matter which part of the body or organ is the center of attention due to its task. It is important to note that every part of the body and every organ has a boundary. This is what Paul meant when he spoke of the church as a body with its various members and functions (see 1 Corinthians 12:14-20).

1 Corinthians 12:14-20:
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Just as the human body cannot live without oxygen and blood, nothing happens without His blood and spirit in the church. It is the blood (note: Jesus' sacrifice on the cross) that transports the oxygen (note: the Holy Spirit) through the body (note: the church).

The “Brain” of the Body of Christ

In all of this, it is necessary to mention that the brain has an important role to play in this process, because everything is managed and directed from there in order to properly supply the human body with life. The “brain” of the body of Christ is the control center where the ministers of the five fold ministry are located to lead the church into the maturity for each time and season (see Ephesians 4:11-13).

Ephesians 4:11-13:
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: …

The Breath of God

In the same way God breathed His breath into Adam's body, He also used the power of His breath (note: It was filled with His instruction) to create the universe with the planets/stars, … as well as the earth and everything in it. All areas created by God carry the effect of His breath, which reflects or expresses His life in some way in their areas of function.
The life of God is also expressed by our inner being (note: spirit and soul) operating through our body in the visible realm within temporary time (note: while we are living on earth).

The Potential of Temporary Time

It is therefore important to understand the value of time according to the Word of God.
The potential of temporary time gives us the opportunity to reveal the eternal life of the Father on earth through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit.
Even though time is not visible for us, it is the wisdom and insight of God that enable us to sense the value of time.

The “Head” and the “Body” of Time

In the way, the body of Christ and we as human beings have our own head and bodies, time also has a “head” and a “body” (note: space).
In this case, the biblical month “Tischri/Ethanim” carries within the blessing cycle of God the character of a “brain”, by which God allows the time of blessing to flow through the following months (note: the body/space of time => a period), and thus arranges the blessing on earth over man (see Matthew 5:45b).

Matthew 5:45b:
… 45b He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

It is therefore no coincidence that the Jewish New Year is also called “Rosh ha-Shana – Head of the Year” which is represented by the biblical month “Tischri/Ethanim”, because it is the month in which the Jewish New Year is celebrated.

The Characters of the Twelve Biblical Months

Each biblical month has a special character and is assigned to one of the twelve tribes of Israel according to the monthly system of the Holy Year within the cycle of redemption. The allocation of the twelve tribes to the months is related to the order of the encampment of the people of Israel in accordance to the scripture of Numbers 2, and we, as people of God, are also on the way of the kingdom (see Hebrews 13:14).

Hebrews 13:14:
14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

God has put a special promise into every month of the year which contains revelation for the people of Israel and for us as the bride of Christ as well, in order to orientate ourselves accordingly every year or rather to position ourselves spiritually to receive the fullness of God.
Just as God has assigned each month to a different climate/season for the earth realm, periods of growth and rest, so the Lord put His spiritual promises into the monthly cycles, too.

Entrance and Exit of Time

Based on the previous explanation regarding the topic of time, it becomes clear that time has an entrance and exit.
The time of the end and the new beginning is to be equated with sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ as our Rabbi in the characteristic of the Alpha and Omega (note: He is the time span of our lives.; see Revelation 21:6; Revelation 22:13) in order to obtain wisdom and insight for the time of the future (see Luke 10:39.42 i.c.w. John 6:68b-69).

Revelation 21:6:
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. …”

Revelation 22:13:
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Luke 10:39.42:
39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. …
… 42 but few things are needed – or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better (note: recognized the value of this time and redeemed it), and it will not be taken away from her.”

John 6:68b-69:
… 68b “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

Preparing for the New Time

Therefore, it is important that we as people of God prepare ourselves - especially at the end of a time cycle - for the new time so we may be able to receive Jesus' wisdom for the future.
This preparation involves reviewing things of the past time cycle, where the Holy Spirit reveals grievances, and then removing them to re-position ourselves in Him. By this, the Heavenly Father wants to allow the new measure of the time of blessing to flow through His Son Jesus Christ into our lives. However, if shortcomings of the past time are not resolved, a reduction of blessing can occur.
It is the will of the Heavenly Father to surround us with a new garment of time in Jesus Christ as the Alpha and Omega, in accordance to His time cycles (see Romans 13:14).

The Potential of the Biblical Month Tischri/Ethanim

The greatest potential of the biblical month Tischri/Ethanim lies in its beginning within the cycle of God's blessing, as beginnings are closely related to God's creativity (see Genesis 1:1).

Genesis 1:1:
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The Implementation of God's Creativity

God wants that we use the new time He gives to reveal His creativity and plan to the people. This is one example of how to redeem the time.
God requires that we create the things which He planned in advance for us together with Him or rather, that we walk in them (see Ephesians 2:10).

Ephesians 2:10:
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

May the gift of the new time give us the needed wisdom and insight in Jesus Christ to fulfill His plan for the coming time in full surrender and love towards Him, so that creation will be satisfied in its longing for the sons of God (see Romans 8:19).

Romans 8:19:
19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children (note: sons) of God to be revealed.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
