Based on several independent prophetic indications that the enemy is attacking the people of God with a high level of witchcraft in this period, I would like to share a dream I received in spring 2007. This dream carries revelation of the enemy's approach and is intended to help us how to strategically fight the spiritual battle according to Ephesians 6:12.

Ephesians 6:12:
12 For our struggle (note: battle) is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The Dream: The Witch, the Serpent and the Female Soothsayer

In that dream I saw a faithful Christian lady that I knew, who had received permission from God having a look into a witch's scope of duties and observing her while operating.

Therein, she could hear the witch speak about the magical procedure regarding the conquest of land for darkness as the witch was taking out objects of magic from different shelves of her wooden cupboard. The floor of the place, which seemed like a room she was in, was made of sand.

In the sand there was a path that the witch was dividing into different sections. Each section was marked by a burning tea candle.

Then the witch was taking a white pottery snake with a red cross pattern on the head out of the cupboard. It was clear to see that the snake was malleable like Plasticine. She was placing the snake on the sandy ground and was leading it through the path. Each time the snake would arrive at the burning tealights (note: sub-section), the witch was fetching an object from her cupboard.

At three sections it was possible to clearly recognize these objects. At the first section it was a scorpion, which was enclosed in amber. The second section was a silver-plated spider, and the third section was a large gold-plated tarantula. While the witch was doing her job, she said:

“We are doing all these things from the high places.”
(note: High places are places where, among other things, people worshiped pagan gods. The term is used to describe the sphere of authority, power and ministry. High places or mountains are also symbolic for governments and authorities.)

Then the scene changed. I saw the first-born daughter of the same Christian lady in this dream. She was dressed in black and sitting at a table with a female fortune-teller who was laying cards for her.
Then, every time she was coming to her faithful mother, she would proudly say: “I know what will happen in the future.”
I could see how the daughter was full of gloating.
Then I saw her mother laughing at her daughter while saying that. I was aware that this hard and loud laughter was a divine laughter over the powers of darkness (see Psalm 37:13) and at the same time laughter as for the soothsayer would tell her daughter something about the future that would be true and not pleasing her daughter at all (see 1 Samuel 28:8-20 => Saul at the witch of En- Dor). Then the dream ended.

The Awareness of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit wants to draw our attention to the intrigues of the enemy and sensitize us to act strategically in the Spirit in order to destroy the plans of darkness (see 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

2 Corinthians 10:4-5:
4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

The adversary of God is currently using his magic arts to mislead many people. The Word of God even warns us that there will be a time when many people will fall away from belief and will be distracted (see Matthew 24:24 i.c.w. 1 Timothy 4:1).

Matthew 24:24:
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

1 Timothy 4:1:
1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Believers in the Structure of Saul

This deals with believers in Christ having no true relationship with Jesus Christ and also with those having a bitter root in their heart because of disappointment in God (note: because they have not experienced God intervening in their lives in the way they expected Him to). Because of this wound of disappointment, these believers run the risk of being seduced by witchcraft. The enemy’s goal is to bring destruction especially to the church by making her as weak as can be (see Psalm 17:11-12 i.c.w. John 10:10a; 1 Peter 5:8).

Psalm 17:11-12:
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a fierce lion crouching in cover.

John 10:10a:
10a The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; …

1 Peter 5:8:
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

King Saul is a warning example in this context. He is a representation of believers who cultivate a religious mindset (note: knowing much about God without having a true relationship through Jesus Christ with the Heavenly Father) and are not willing to surrender their complete will to God and follow His command.

The result of this is that there is no supernatural instruction and manifestation of God in their lives. The ultimate consequence is that they even come under the power of the enemy and turn to demonic influences, although they were previously opposed to these influences (see 1 Samuel 28:3b.6-8).

1 Samuel 28:3b.6-8:
… 3b Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.
6 He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.
7 Saul then said to his attendants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.” “There is one in Endor,” they said.
8 So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. “Consult a spirit for me,” he said, “and bring up for me the one I name.”

In the midst of this twisted heart attitude, the power of God's holy laughter will manifest itself over the persons concerned and will bring up truth to bring light into both sides (note: the person acting in sorcery and the person who is disobedient) (see 1 Samuel 28:16-19.21)!

1 Samuel 28:16-19.21:
16 Samuel said, “Why do you (note: Saul) consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and become your enemy?
17 The Lord has done what he predicted through me. The Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors – to David.
18 Because you did not obey the Lord or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the Lord has done this to you today.
19 The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”…
21 When the woman (note: the witch of Endor) came to Saul and saw that he was greatly shaken, she said, “Look, your servant has obeyed you. I took my life in my hands and did what you told me to do.

The White Snake

The white snake mentioned in the dream with the red cross pattern on its head is a reference to the religious spirit that tries to devour all spirit-filled “things” with the aim of spiritually suffocating believers in Christ (see Matthew 23:27.33).

Matthew 23:27.33:
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
33 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

The Sand

The sand on the ground is an indication of the foundation of false prophets and of those being unwilling to obey (see Matthew 7:26).

Matthew 7:26:
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

The Burning Tealights

The lit tealights indicate temporal sections of darkness of the adversary who brings together all the might of his devilish power to achieve his goal of destruction. These temporal fixed sections of darkness are accompanied by great confusion in the visible world, where destruction and other unusual things occur.

These signs should not discourage us as people of God from becoming inactive, but rather meant to awaken us to spread and share the glory of God by living a lifestyle of true worship.

The Meaning of Sorcery and Witchcraft

=> The words sorcery and witchcraft come from the Greek word “pharmakia”. These words can indicate the administration of drugs, the poisoning or practicing of magical arts.
Sorcery is an attempt to contact supernatural beings or forces, to control, manipulate, or to interact with the spirits of death through various invocations, spells, and occult practices.
Sorcery may appear as an innocent spiritual form and practice, or it may appear dark and ungodly.
Therefore, the religious spirit is closely related to witchcraft/magic because its purpose is to keep people from knowing Jesus Christ and the Gospel. <= (note: based on an explanation about witchcraft from the book “Freedom From The Religious Spirit” by C. Peter Wagner, pages 106 and 107)
=> Furthermore witchcraft means to solve destinies of others by commanding powers of evil spirits to act.
It also refers to magic, spirit invocation and sorcery.
Witchcraft also means using higher human power over others and objects with the help of impure spirits as well as practicing sorcery, casting spells and magic.
Witchcraft is the practice of manipulating creation and human beings or events with the help of to evoke manifestations desired by the occultist.
Apart from the Creator's justice, sorcerers use drinks and intoxicants to appear in various ways in reality and delusions in the objects of their desire.
Sorcery or magic is identified in the New Testament as “pharmakia” for its frequent application of magic potions and libations to invocations and spells (see Galatians 5:10). <= (based on an explanation from the “Prophet`s Dictionary" by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 522)

The Scorpion and the Two Spiders

The scorpion and the two spiders indicate the degree of evil power to paralyze the people of God or even stun them with poison (note: e.g. by false prophetic words, wrong doctrines and other things).

Paula A. Price writes the following explanation about the scorpion in her book “The Prophet’s Dictionary”:
=> The scorpion is a: A) Stinger. It is a subordinate agent of the serpent beneath the dragon. The scorpion is the piercing “one” who watches and studies his victims from afar in order to sting.
B) Injury through stealth and concealment such as that caused by occultic, psychic and magical means.
The scorpion is a supernatural watcher on the lookout, as a scout for darkness, for the opportunity to sting, seduce and entice another to the cause of the dragon. It is an agent that pierces the surface to dig in and inject its poison.
C) The scorpion is a scandal monger who uses entrapments that entice its victims into sin and ultimately to apostatize. <= (partial excerpt from the “Prophet’s Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 488)

The spider is a reference to sorcery and witchcraft. It works with deceitfulness by weaving nearly invisible traps for its victims to catch them and suffocate them in their actions.

The tarantula is an indication of the enemy's seductive influence over humans by luring them into the sources of distraction. The result of a tarantula bite is that people are under a delusion or going mad, which means living in deception. Many people who are under this influence live in sexual impurity or desire trying to satisfy their carnal lust.

The silver spider is an indication of twisted doctrine that perverts the word of God, while the gold spider indicates false beliefs rooted in the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10).

1 Timothy 6:10:
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

If we don't stop the enemy, these attacks will intensify.
Therefore, we shouldn't be passive towards Satan, but rather we should be aware of our dominance and triumph in Jesus Christ who has empowered us by grace to even step on snakes and scorpions in authority (see Luke 10:19).

Luke 10:19:
19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Conclusion

If we as people of God move forward in the army of the Lord with Jesus Christ as our eternal King in the particular unit of the tribe assigned to us and respect the field of authority or commission of our neighbor within the army of the Lord, suddenly it will come to the knowledge of truth in the hearts of those who move in the midst of the field of sorcery and witchcraft.
The consequence of this is that the respective persons have to decide which God they want to serve and thus the result of their decision becomes visible (see Numbers 24:1-9 i.c.w. Malachi 3:18).

Numbers 24:1-9:
1 Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not resort to divination as at other times, but turned his face toward the wilderness.
2 When Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came on him 3 and he spoke his message: “The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly, 4 the prophecy of one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened: 5 “How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel!
6 “Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.
7 Water will flow from their buckets; their seed will have abundant water. “Their king will be greater than Agag; their kingdom will be exalted.
8 “God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them.
9 Like a lion they crouch and lie down, like a lioness – who dares to rouse them? “May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!”

Malachi 3:18:
18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.

In order to be in the right position in the body of Christ and victoriously ward off the attacks of the enemy, a lifestyle of intimate love relationship with Jesus Christ and the Father as a mature son (note: willingness to live responsibly and in the order of God) and as His bride (note: personal devotion to live faithfully and in purity in the world without trying to be alike) is necessary.

Whenever we ourselves do neither turn left nor right from the straight path, we have the clarity and orientation as saints in the visible and invisible realms to recognize Satan’s strategic actions in time and to turn them away from us (note: our families, communities and areas of our authority) and to transform them into triumph to the glory of God.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

Some time ago the Lord spoke to me in link with the scripture from John 5:1-9 about heart attitudes of believers regarding revival.

John 5:1-9:
1 Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals.
2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades.
3-4 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie – the blind, the lame, the paralyzed.
5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, …

We can see in this Scripture that Jesus has left a place of space and time to go to the capital of Israel on a special day in a special time frame in order to act on behalf of the Heavenly Father (see John 5:19).

John 5:19:
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Going Up to Jerusalem and the Structure of Mature Sonship in Christ Jesus

The going up of Jesus to Jerusalem is for us today a divine call to walk at the right time in His government authority, in order to operate in it.

On a Sabbath, Jesus healed an invalid man who was lying near the sheep gate. Because Jesus spoke of Himself that He came to fulfill the law and the prophets, we can assume that He celebrated all biblical feasts (see Matthew 5:17).

Matthew 5:17:
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. …”

On the basis of the movement of Jesus and the location of that man who was unable to walk, Jesus can represent in this context the structure of the mature sonship of God.

In this mature sonship, believers intervene at the right time on behalf of the Heavenly Father, serving others in order to take believers who are in a state of hopelessness due to negative experiences into a higher place. This place is associated with great joy and triumph.

The invalid man at the sheep gate was constantly confronted with the fact that people before him had already been healed and this went over a long period of time, but without the experience of his personal healing. Again and again he noticed that God sent an angel to transmit His healing power. This healing movement was accompanied by the sign that the water of the pond Bethesda was being stirred up by an angel, so that the sick person, who first came into contact with the supernaturally moved water of the pond, got healed.

This man was invalid for more than 38 years, had seen many healing movements coming and going without himself having had any part in a supernatural movement of God yet. Also today we can hear often about believers saying that there is revival in other nations or regions, but not in theirs.

This statement might feel like it was true in comparisons, but it is not true at all. Revival doesn't depend on particular nations or regions, but on personal surrender of saints to the Heavenly Father.

For revival to take place in a nation/region, it is necessary that mature sons of God within the body of Christ are living in the center of the Father's will in order to go to the place filled with weakness to infiltrate that place with encouragement, revelation, and strength.

When Jesus went up to Jerusalem to the named place at the sheep gate, He saw among the sick who were there, this man who was lying on his mattress for 38 years. Jesus recognized the potential in this man to enter into the mature sonship of God in order to live in the presence of the Heavenly Father, because Jesus had addressed and finally healed him as the only person in this place (see John 5:2-8 i.c.w. John 17:21).

John 5:2-8:
2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda (note: house of grace) and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades.

John 17:21:
… 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

It was no coincidence that Jesus was walking in the time of His Heavenly Father and decided to go to the geographical location of the sheep gate with the five pillared halls for the healing of that invalid man. The number “5” is an indication of the ministry of the “grace of God” (see Titus 2:11).

Titus 2:11:
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

Jesus, who fully represents mature sonship, functioned as the great shepherd being the open door to a new realm. This open door can only be passed through by obedience to His voice in order to stand in a new realm of His presence (see John 10:7-9-27).

John 10:7.9.27:
7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. …
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.1 They will come in and go out, and find pasture. …
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. …

This principle of obedience was interpreted by the man who had been sick for more than 38 years, so that Jesus Christ was calling him on Sabbath to stand up and go to the new place in Christ Jesus with his mattress (note: symbol of the place of rest in God). He was following the command of the Son of God and thus received his healing (see John 5:8-9a i.c.w. Ephesians 2:4-7)!

John 5:8-9a:
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
9a At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. …

Ephesians 2:4-7:
4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

Behind the 38 years of the sick man, the numerical value reveals God's plan, whose aim was to transform the circumstance of weakness into strength.
The numerical value ‘38’ results in the Hebrew word ‘laḩ’, which means ‘fresh, moist’ in the sense of ‘new, unused’ and the Hebrew word ‘lēaḩ’, which means ‘freshness, vitality, moisture’. (Note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible for the word ‘laḩ – fresh’ and ‘lēaḩ – vitality’, with the word key number: 3973*, 3974*)
From this it becomes clear that Jesus carried out the will of the Heavenly Father in the life of the relevant man and in this way gave him new freshness and vitality.

The Second Biblical Month in the Cycle of the Redemption of God

If we study about the Hebrew word for “pillar/corner column” in link with Psalm 144:12 the word is “sāwit” and derives from the root word “ziv” which is linked to “brightness, flower”. (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the word key number 2156*,2148*)

Psalm 144:12:
12 Then our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace.

“Ziv” is the second biblical month in which ‘little Pessach’ (note: Passover Sheni) is celebrated. This feast implies God's “extra grace” for all those who couldn't have celebrated Pessach in the first month for certain reasons (see Numbers 9:10-11).

Numbers 9:10-11:
10 “Tell the Israelites: ‘When any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body or are away on a journey, they are still to celebrate the Lord’s Passover, 11 but they are to do it on the fourteenth day of the second month at twilight. They are to eat the lamb, together with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

Passover celebrates the power of the blood of the Lamb of God and the deliverance from slavery (note: sin). Thus it becomes clear that Jesus Christ, when He came to the place of the five colonnaded halls, He was about to reveal the grace of the Father to the invalid man in order to let His life be in full bloom in the sonship of God and to enjoy the glory of the Father.

While Jesus came to the place of the five pillared halls and stood before this sick man, it can be assumed that the man first saw the two legs of Jesus, since he was lying on a bed on the ground.

The Greater Measure of Revelatory Truth

At that time, there was a measure of revelatory truth concerning healing in the area of the five pillared halls related to a supernatural movement (note: initiated by an angel on behalf of God).

The presence of Jesus, however, brought a greater measure of revelatory truth into this realm by increasing the present measure of the “water bath of the Word of God” in quality and temperature. He did this by revealing the truth about sonship and shepherding of God through His presence and residing at the place of the five pillared halls. The reason for this is because, according to Revelation 1:15a, the two legs/feet of Jesus Christ are two fiery shining bronze pillars.

Revelation 1:15a:
15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, …

Through the two glowing “bronze pillars-feet” of Jesus Christ, the present revelatory truth (note: represented by water; see Ephesians 5:26) was intensified at the place of the five pillared halls by changing from a cold state (note: water moved by an angel => wind; see Hebrews 1:7) to a hot state (note: by the fiery feet of Jesus). The place was now temporarily equipped with seven (note: numerous symbol for completion) pillars, as a sign of God's completed work to enter into the rest of the Heavenly Father.

Speaking in a prophetic context, the paralyzed man faced the living pillars of Boas – “He establishes” and Jachin – “In Him is strength” which were placed by Solomon at the porch of the temple and already were a reference to Jesus Christ as the only door to the Father (see 1 Kings 7:15.21 i.c.w. John 10:9; John 14:6).

1 Kings 7:15.21:
15 He cast two bronze pillars, each eighteen cubits high and twelve cubits in circumference. …
21 And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.

John 10:9:
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Because the sick man had faith and obeyed the command of Jesus Christ, his body was filled with strength so that he could rise up in health and walk to the temple (note: representing the center of the Heavenly Father) (see John 5:14 i.c.w. Luke 2:46.49; Revelation 21:22).

John 5:14:
14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

Luke 2:46.49:
46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. …
49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Revelation 21:22:
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

The man, who had been suffering from the disease for 38 years, entered into his personal revival through the healing of Jesus by moving resolutely forward in the mature sonship of God and being in the center of the Heavenly Father. He was no longer only a witness of revival but a sign for revival as he himself became a revival.

His relationship was brought to that higher place, the center of the Heavenly Father (note: temple), by the love of God, which is Jesus Christ.

The Shift of the Sphere of the Sabbath

It is now the time for us as God’s people to shift the sphere of “Sabbath” (note: the resting time because of an accomplished season) from the pond of the sheep gate (note: place of obedience) to the temple (note: place of divine relationship) in the similar way as the paralyzed man did.

The Hebrew root word for “bed” or “litter” is “nāṭāh” and means “to stretch out, extend, spread out, pitch, turn, bend, bow”. This means that at the place where we used to stretch out by ourselves to see something happen in our lives or nation, it is now the time to hear Jesus speaking through His living word by merely submitting (note: bending, bowing) to it, so that we can leave our present circumstance behind, be empowered and extend in the presence of the house of the Father which is linked to the real relationship – spending time and feasting with Him (see John 5:8-9.14 i.c.w. John 10:27; Luke 2:46.49; Luke 15:20-24)!

John 5:8-9.14:
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, …
14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

John 10:27:
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Luke 2:46.49:
46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. …
49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Luke 15:20-24:
20 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.
24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

We are called to move from obedience into the understanding of real relationship with the Lord like Jesus and also John said:
“... Whoever has my (note: Jesus) commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:21

“And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.” 1 John 3:23-24

Divine Obedience

Divine obedience is not a form of legalistic obedience but an obedience that has its root in real and honest relationship with God, the Father.

Finally, I want to explain that God made no mistake when He created us and has given us a destiny because the Word of God clearly reveals, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (see Psalm 139:14)!

Psalm 139:14:
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Amen and Amen.

The Change of Structure

As the people of God, it is inescapable that living with Jesus Christ implies to enter time phases that require moving from a former structure to a new structure. These changes are usually related to the challenge as of giving birth to a child.

The Birth of Benjamin

In this regard I was reminded of the birth of Benjamin (note: "son of the right hand or of good fortune"), who was the youngest son of Jacob and whose mother Rachel died while he was born (see Genesis 35:16-19).

Genesis 35:16-19:
16 Then they moved on from Bethel. While they were still some distance from Ephrath, Rachel began to give birth and had great difficulty.
17 And as she was having great difficulty in childbirth, the midwife said to her, “Don’t despair, for you have another son.”
18 As she breathed her last – for she was dying – she named her son Ben-Oni (note: means “son of my trouble”) . But his father named him Benjamin (note: means “son of my right hand”).
19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).

The birth of Benjamin took place on the way between two locations, which were Bethel and Ephrath. Benjamin was the only son of Jacob born in the Promised Land.

Benjamin's birth is meant to be an indication that we are going with the authority God has given us in Christ, in the midst of His promise, to the new place. That place was predestined for us in order to establish the quality of our fellowship with Him there. This place is also related to the open heaven and is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to bring forth a greater measure of the fruit of the Spirit (see Galatians 5:22-23).

Galatians 5:22-23:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

The Awareness of the Guidance of the Holy Spirit

It is essential that we are sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in such spiritual birth phases. It is the Holy Spirit who, like Rachel's midwife, is standing in the future and seeing the new coming out of the "old" and who is assisting us to stand under an open heaven in the promise of the future as to advance in the revelatory truth (see John 16:13).

John 16:13:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

This process means to show us old patterns by the Spirit of Truth, where we are lacking trust and are in doubt in order to break with them. Here it is important to be ready to leave the time that has been spent in order to enter with the Holy Spirit into the newness of the Heavenly Father. This decision entails a price and is connected with the submission of one's own will to God's will (see 1 Peter 5:6).

1 Peter 5:6:
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

If we don't want to surrender to the guidance of God, the result is that we will find ourselves in an obsolete time and therefore will be unable to properly discern the new things that the Lord is doing, even though they carry the authority of the church for the future.

But praise be to God, the Heavenly Father, who clearly calls the new by name, so that within the church there will be knowledge of the truth for this time, so that everyone has the opportunity to decide freely (see Genesis 35:18 i.c.w. 1 Timothy 2:4).

Genesis 35:18:
18 As she breathed her last – for she was dying – she named her son Ben-Oni (note: means “son of my trouble”) . But his father named him Benjamin (note: means “son of my right hand”).

1 Timothy 2:4:
… 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

God's Movement Between Two Portals

The reason for this spiritual birth process is because God Himself moves between two portals with His nature represented by His four faces before His throne and it is connected to the seven Spirits of God (see Revelation 4:6-7 i.c.w. Revelation 4:5; Isaiah 11:2).

Revelation 4:6-7:
6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.

Revelation 4:5:
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits1 of God.

Isaiah 11:2:
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord –

The four characteristics of the face of God are:
  1. the face of the lion => The face of the lion is connected with the spirit of the Lord and the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
  2. the face of the bull => The face of the bull is connected with the spirit of might.
  3. the face of man => The face of man is connected with the spirit of understanding and counsel.
  4. the face of the flying eagle => The face of the flying eagle is connected with the spirit of wisdom and knowledge.
These two portals are the East and the West, which are an indication of the temporary measure of time of the church on earth to reveal the forgiveness of Jesus Christ (see Psalm 103:12 i.c.w. Hebrews 9:14; 1 John 1:7).

Psalm 103:12:
… 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Hebrews 9:14:
14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

1 John 1:7:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

The movement between the two portals (note: East and West) can also be described as the phase in which God the Father as well as Jesus Christ the Son reveal themselves as the Alpha and the Omega, being the time span of our life (see Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:13; Deuteronomy 30:20).

Revelation 1:8:
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 22:13:
13 I (note: Jesus Christ) am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Deuteronomy 30:20:
… 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The Different Carriers of God's Promise

The promise of God in the respective time periods of the temporary time is coupled to different "bodies". This is explained, for example, by the Word of God, as the promise of God was received by Abraham, then transferred to Isaac, to be carried on later by Jacob and then also by believers in the following generations.

Therefore, an outdated time passes on the promise of God to a new time, where people also move in faith in the promise of God for the respective time (see Hebrews 11).

With this principle ´we should keep in mind, and therein we should not condemn what God, the Heavenly Father, considers to be obsolete, nor should we reject the new things that God has determined for this and the time to come.

God in the Cool of the Day

In connection with the end of a time and the beginning of a new time, the Holy Spirit let me know that God, who is Spirit, moves on the path between two portals, which are the wind of the East and the wind of the West. In this context, I was reminded of the passage from Genesis 3:8, where the Lord moved in the wind between two winds, that of the west and that of the east, which is equivalent to the expression “the cool of the day”, because the day with God begins with the evening (see Genesis 1:5b).

Genesis 3:8:
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Genesis 1:5b:
And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.

Although Adam and Eve had sinned, God visited them in their field of relationship assigned by Him, representing the garden planted for them by God (see Genesis 2:8).

Genesis 2:8:
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.

Although Adam and Eve disobeyed and fell into sin, they were able to hear God's voice in the garden He planted in Eden. At that time Adam and Eve were still living within God's boundaries, as the Hebrew word for “garden” makes clear.

Staying in God's Order

“Eden” is not in the first place connected with an idea of an area with trees and plants, but rather contains a framework of divine order. The word “garden” in the Hebrew original text is quoted as “gân” (Strong's H1588), a “garden (fenced)”, which is originally derived from “gânan” and also means "to protect oneself", "to secure oneself" and "to defend oneself" (Strong's H1598).

It was therefore the living in the order of God that enabled Adam and Eve to hear the voice of God, but they were limited by their sin fall to endure the face or presence of God in its fullness so that they hid from God.

It is God's desire that we should not only hear His voice, but align ourselves with the presence of His face with which He appears to us. We should be aware that God moves in His power of forgiveness, which is like the face of the bull who with his two horns removes (note: pushes away) sin when we confess our mistake (note: sin; see Psalm 103:12 i.c.w. 1 John 1:9).

Psalm 103:12:
… 12 as far as the east (note: morning) is from the west (note: evening), so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

1 John 1:9:
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The face of the bull represents the priestly presence of the Son of God, destined to bring restoration/reconciliation between God and man because the bull as bearer of burdens (see John 14:6 i.c.w. Colossians 1:20).

John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Colossians 1:20:
… 20 and through him (note: Jesus Christ) to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

It was God who, in the nature of the bull, met Adam and Eve in the garden and did not accuse them, but shed blood by sacrificing an animal of which I am convinced that it must have been a lamb or ram as He did this to cover the sinful nature of Adam and Eve (see Genesis 3:21).

Genesis 3:21:
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

God, the Heavenly Father, wants us to move in the presence of His fatherly flow and partake in the presence of His face and His movement (see John 10:27; John 14:9b; John 17:21b).

John 10:27:
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

John 14:9b:
… 9b Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. …

John 17:21b:
… 21b Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

The Second Coming of Jesus

Knowing that Jesus Christ, on His second coming to earth, appears with power and connects the portals of the East and the West, revealing the way of the apostolic ministry of the eternal high priest according to the order of Melchizedek into the Holy of Holies, who has removed all the transgressions for those who believe in Him (see Matthew 24:27 i.c.w. Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 9:24; Psalm 103:12).

Matthew 24:27:
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Hebrews 3:1-2:
1 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.
2 He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house.

Hebrews 9:24:
24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.

Psalm 103:12:
… 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

For this reason, it is not only a matter of expecting his appearance, but rather of moving with him in his presence and being in the new day as we move out of the disused, obsolete and finished cycle.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
