The Spirit of Elijah and Fatherhood
 
One of the main ways that God provides leadership in His kingdom is through fathers. This is why the spirit of Elijah must come and restore “the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.” Otherwise the “great and dreadful Day of the Lord” which is coming would consume us and “strike the earth with a curse” (see Malachi 4:4-6). These final words in the Tenakh (note: Old Testament) point to God’s Father Leadership in His kingdom.
 
Fathering involves the loving heart attitude displayed in raising children. A father exhorts and comforts and implores and sometimes chastens when necessary (see 1 Thessalonians 2:11, Hebrews 12:7-11), but only after establishing you through much encouragement. A father is always around through thick and thin. A father does not forsake you when you fail or leave you when disagreements arise. A father not only goes with you into battle, he leads the way (see Joshua 1:5-9). Spiritual fathering is the major leadership method for building the body of Christ.
 
One of my favorite authors Rick Joyner writes:
Though the image of the Lord is both male and female, and there is the nature of Him that would gather us as a hen gathers her chicks, God is presented throughout the Scriptures as “Father,” and is never called “Mother.” To dilute this, is to distort His image with a very thick veil. “Father” means “life giver.” The father gives the seed, and the mother nurtures the seed. In Scripture, we see the creation as “a” mother. Both Israel and the church are also referred to in Scripture as “mothers.” Just as the woman was taken from Adam so that they would have to come together to be the complete image of God, the Lord will be joined perfectly to His Bride to give the creation a true reflection of His glory.”2
 
Since God calls his corporate body (males and females) both a bride (see Revelation 21:9), and a son (see Romans 4:5-7) we can see that gender is not the issue here. Being a spiritual father is not related to gender, and a woman can function as a spiritual father just as well as a man (see Deborah in Judges 4-5; Galatians 3:28).
 
The most important thing you could ever impart to someone is how to love God, and this does not come by teaching or someone praying for you or any other “quick fix” method. It comes from being loved by a father. It comes by hanging around with someone on a consistent basis who has an intimate relationship with THE ABBA FATHER. This is why until Jesus came, we never truly knew how to be intimate with God. Jesus started the Fathering mentorship by being a father to a small group of disciples and this little group became fathers who had sons who became fathers, and so on and so on. The fathering family of God began.
 
Natural and Spiritual Fathers
 
There is great comfort and encouragement in knowing someone as a spiritual father in the Lord. Both natural and spiritual fathers still give advice and encouragement and rebuke when necessary. It is wonderful if a believer in Christ has someone who helps to show the way on a personal basis in order avoid unnecessary mistakes. It is good to know someone whom one can call on anytime and get real hands-on advice for situations in life.
 
It is easy to get a “corporation mentality” and try to pump out as many sons and daughters as you can, but the reality is that if you try to father too many children you cease to be a father and start becoming more of a corporation where the intimacy is lost. A father does not even choose his own children, but they are given to him by God, and a child does not get to choose their father either. Much of the disarray in the Body of Christ is a result of fathers hand picking their children according to those who “fit their mold” instead of fathering the sons and daughters that God has chosen for them. We need to be “joined and knit together” correctly according to God’s will so that “every part does its share, causing growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (see Ephesians 4:16)
 
Abraham did not have a spiritual father, so do not force spiritual fathering and sonship. The true father/son relationships will become evident as these relationships develop with those around you, but it may take years. To have a spiritual father doesn’t mean that you have to be with him in agreement on everything. Fathers can learn a lot from their children too, because it is a two way relationship.
 
The Hierarchy of God’s Kingdom
 
The hierarchy of God's kingdom doesn’t look like the typical corporate organizational chart with the president on top and other people branching off of them and other people branching off of them, etc. Rather it is like a huge fishing net or a network. All members of the body are physically connected to only a FEW parts of the body, but they receive the benefit of the entire body by way of the blood. In the same manner, the Blood of Jesus runs through the entire Body of Christ to give life for the benefit of all. “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” (see Leviticus 17:11)
 
1 Corinthians 11:25-30 says, “In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.”
 
If we are not properly joined together to the part of the body of Christ that God has called us, then the life (blood) cannot flow properly. The reason for much of the weakness, sickness and premature death among believers is that we do not “discern the Lord’s body” correctly. In other words, we are not discerning where in the body of Christ we should be joined or who are our spiritual fathers and children. This is partly due to the set-up of the current “church institutions” which do not promote family intimacy, but rather a spectator mentality. But thanks be to God, this is now changing!
 
The Fathering of God and the Biblical Feasts
 
God is bringing His people into His order, and fathering (as opposed to the current institutional corporation mentality) is according to His order. God only asked for His people to gather together in large groups three times a year. Deuteronomy 16:16 says, “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty handed.”
 
Leviticus 23 tells us that these Feasts were given by God to be celebrated “forever” as a memorial and a holy convocation. All of these Feasts are Christ centered and point to Jesus as the Messiah. The rest of the year we should be meeting in smaller “tribes” monthly and “families” weekly as the Lord leads, being fathered and fathering according to our maturity.
By feasting the biblical Feasts of the Lord we give the possibility to celebrate in a family structure instead of celebrating them in an institutional church structure.
Thereby the family will begin to be restored as God’s main training ground for His people in order to cure much of the confusion in the body of Christ, because just the structure of the current church system draws leaders into envy and self-seeking.
 
James 3:16 says, “For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing will be there.” But if you have more of a family structure with fathering and mothering continually going on in a smaller group, then real intimacy and “love in action” can take place on a day to day basis, instead of just on Sunday morning.
 
Wolfgang Simson writes in his book “Houses that Change the World – the return of the house churches” about the contrast of leaders and fathers the following:
 
It is part of a father’s brief to lead, but it is not necessarily part of a leader’s brief to father … Man assumes there must be leadership in anything he touches. It is part of his creational brief. However, the church is an exception, because it is not man’s invention or property. It is truly God’s … To call one member a leader over the others – and in spite of the presence of the head – would be grossly misleading.
 
The whole world wants leaders, not servants, and so does the traditional church. Maybe we want what God is not willing to give, and instead of seeing the futility of our attempts, we carry on with what we think is persistence.
 
The stewards of the church are servants, and the more they serve, the more they will ultimately lead (Luke 22:26) in a way which is upside down to the way the world expects leadership. An obedient and humble servant can lead because he is led. Leadership, if at all, is therefore a function of obedience.” 3
 
Fathers and Spiritual Authority
 
The words “father” and “fathers” appear in the KJV Bible 1,484 times. Needless to say, the Scriptures have much to say about fathers. This article is not for the purpose of studying the entire role of the father, but for showing that fathering is more than just raising children; it is the very plan and order for God’s leadership. Of course God is our ultimate Father as 2 Corinthians 6:18 tells us, “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
 
But don’t forget that the apostle Paul also considered himself a spiritual father, and this fathering leadership has been God’s way of maturing His people from the beginning. “For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore, I urge you, imitate me.” (see 1 Corinthians 4:15.16)
Father’s who lead like Paul carry spiritual authority.
 
There are two types of God ordained authority:
  1. spiritual authority and
  2. dominion authority.
Understanding true authority, which comes from heaven and not earth, is one of the most important aspects to being a spiritual father and thinking like mature sons.

During a meeting at the apostolic center Holy Place, I had received grace to serve prophetically, then the Holy Spirit began to speak to me about the new day of His church on earth.

The New Day of the Glory of God and the Creation of Adam

Here I saw God's time cycle in the form of a circle, whereby it looked as if a star would light up in the upper right part of the circle, being one tenth of this circle line. It looked like a diamond ring effect during a solar eclipse. While I was seeing this, the hand of God appeared in the form of an outstretched right forearm with a hand filled with a red-hot mass like lava (see Deuteronomy 4:24).

Deuteronomy 4:24:
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Then I heard the voice of God speaking:

“I have created a new day for My church on earth where I renew spirits of saints in the midst of the church by transforming them into new vessels in the structure of the one new spiritual man!” (see Ephesians 2:13-18 i.c.w. Jeremiah 18:3-6)

Ephesians 2:13-18:
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups (note: believers from the Gentiles and believers from the Jews) one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Jeremiah 18:3-6:
3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.
4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me.
6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.

As I heard this, I was reminded of the creation of Adam, the first spiritual man who was in direct relationship with God.

From Genesis 2:4b-7 it can be seen that Adam was formed as a perfect soul by the hand of God and his spirit was breathed into this created soul structure by God, which at that time was not a guilty (fallen) soul.

Furthermore, we are told in Genesis 2:4b-7 that it had not yet rained on earth and that a mist was rising from the earth. This mist had moistened all the land, so that God began to form the outline of Adam's soul, which was the structure of a mature and grown man.

Genesis 2:4b-7:
… 4b when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams (note: a mist) came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

The Untouched Ground and the Image of God

At that time the ground of the earth was untouched, since no rain had fallen on the earth yet. This among other things points to the fact that no false doctrine or wrong foundation of doctrine had entered the earth, as according to the Word of God, rain in its entirety is related to doctrine and spoken words (see Deuteronomy 32:2; Isaiah 55:10-11).

Deuteronomy 32:2:
2 Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.

Isaiah 55:10-11:
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

It was God's will to create Adam perfect or immaculate. Through the rising mist it becomes clear that God formed His presence, His principles of the supernatural as well as His promise into Adam without anyone else having Adam to teach anything. If we are created as human beings in the image of God, and God is Spirit, then we are also first and foremost spirit (Genesis 1:26-27 i.c.w. John 4:24a).

Genesis 1:26-27:
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

John 4:24a:

The Spirit Being “Adam” and His Blameless Soul

First the spiritual being “Adam” was created by the Heavenly Father. Then his soul was, because God later breathed His breath of “Adam” (see Genesis 1:26-27), which had already existed into the blameless soul body of Adam, as we can read in Genesis 2:6-7.

When God blew the breath of “Adam” into the blameless soul body created by Himself, Adam became a living soul.

The soul is the frame which, in the spiritual realm, reflects the appearance of the respective human being in the way he looks on earth, because God honors the father and the mother of man (note: man consists of 46 chromosomes – 23 chromosomes of the father and 23 chromosomes of the mother; see Exodus 20:12).

This means that the spirit of Adam, like of a transparent orb (note: “eternal life”), was filled with the life of God from the throne room (note: “glistening, fiery liquid”) and breathed into the perfect soul shape of Adam. Thus it was completely filled with God's glistening, fluid, fiery and divine light.

The Living Life, the Fog and the Fiery-Luminous Body of Adam

Adam became a living light/life, which now began to shine with full joy in the garden assigned to him by God in the area of “Eden”, which means “delight”. God, the Heavenly Father of Adam, enjoyed him and His fellowship with him.

The reason why Adam's perfect soul body was filled with fiery, pure light by God is explained by the Hebrew word for “mist – 'ēd” used in Genesis 2:6 and its root word “'ûd”. The Hebrew root word “'ûd” means “log”. It is also associated with “fiery coals or embers that are pulled together by a poker”. (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible to the words “mist – 'ēd, log – 'ûd” with the word key number: 111 and 185 as well as from the Strong's concordance with the word key number: H181).

Based on the explanation above, it is relevant that God, the Heavenly Father of Adam and Eve, gathered them together as fiery coals (note: they are before the throne of God; see Isaiah 6:6; Ezekiel 1:13; Ezekiel 28:14) in order to create them as a spirit person in the first place and some time later to perform a holy “cell division”. Only in this way should they be able to walk as two spirit men in holy fellowship before God as well as in pure intimacy and divine love.

Through the two fiery “throne room coals” pulled together by God, the moisture in the ground oxidized, so that it rose as mist through the heat of God's fire into the atmosphere of God's paradise (note: Eden is God's garden). Thus God had formed a fiery, perfect and unified soul body (note: man and woman) corresponding to His consuming and unified spirit being (see Genesis 1:26a i.c.w. Deuteronomy 4:24; Deuteronomy 9:3a; Hebrews 12:29).

Genesis 1:26a:
26a Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, …”

Deuteronomy 4:24:
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Deuteronomy 9:3a:
3 But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire.

Hebrews 12:29:
… 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Isaiah in the Throne Room of God and the New Body of Time

God is in the process of renewing the contours of the spirits of saints within the body of Christ, as I already mentioned above. In this context I received the biblical passage from Isaiah 6:1-7. In this passage we are told of the prophet Isaiah, who was in the throne room of God with his spirit and saw the fiery facet of the very presence of God and His being, which is a consuming fire (see Hebrews 12:29).

Isaiah 6:1-7:
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.
3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Hebrews 12:29:
… 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

The Lord let me know, in connection with the spiritual experience of Isaiah, that a new time of His governmental intensity has begun in which the church will be confronted with the time of His fiery nature.
 
This time is a time of transformation of the spirits of the believers in Christ Jesus. While Isaiah was in a new time in the temporary realm (note: king Uzziah died => a royal government ended and opened the way for a new time of royal government), his spirit and soul was renewed in the fiery presence of God (see Romans 12:2 i.c.w. Ephesians 4:23-24).

Romans 12:2:
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23-24:
… 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

This renewal was accomplished by being touched by one of the seraphim from God's sphere with a glowing coal, which was taken from the altar with tongs. This touch imparted knowledge in Isaiah to realize his current spiritual and soul condition he was in.

This led Isaiah to recognize his status and that of his addressees (note: the people of Israel), who had been in a state of false/incorrect lip service (note: impure lips). Since Isaiah received this knowledge while being in the spiritual realm, it referred to his inner being as well as that of his people. God allowed the saraph to initiate the renewal process of the Spirit of Isaiah, which resulted in being set free from darkness. This release and process enabled him for the future as a fervent spirit person going further and speaking the revelatory words of the Spirit of God to people in a groundbreaking way.

The new body of time that God has established for us as His people is like the structure of a saraph, whose name can also be translated into “fire dragon, burning one, consuming one” having six wings. This body of a saraph, is supposed to point out to us as the people of God today the time of the spirit and fire of God, transferred by Jesus Christ Himself into the church from the throne of God (see Matthew 3:11).

Matthew 3:11:
11 “I (note: John the Baptist) baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one (note: Jesus Christ) who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
 
It was Adam who was created by God as a consuming fire on the sixth day as a spirit man (Genesis 1:27.31).

Genesis 1:27.31:
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. …
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the sixth day.

In this context, it should not be considered as a coincidence that the seraphim with their six wings are mentioned in Isaiah 6.

Adam and the Fiery Coal of God

Adam's identity carries the red-hot being of God, because the name “Adam” is connected with the Hebrew word “'ādam”, which among other things means “human being, being red, shimmering reddish”. (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible to the Hebrew word “'ādam – human being, being red, shimmering reddish” with the word key number 125, 124*).

In the way that God formed two people (note: Adam and Eve) from the first glowing spirit man (Adam), Jesus Christ is the last Adam to carry two glowing coals hidden within himself, which are the attributes of His body and His blood.

These attributes were kindled by the furnace of the fire of God (note: the cross) and are living (note: glowing) coals before the throne of God for all eternity. Through the two fiery coals (note: His sacrificial death on the cross) Jesus Christ was the last Adam to pave the way for the rising of the one new spirit man (see 1 Corinthians 15:45 i.c.w. Ephesians 2:13-18).

1 Corinthians 15:45:
45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

These two glowing holy coals (note: Jesus' body and blood) carry the potential of two groups of people to create the one new man in Christ (see Ephesians 2:13-18).

Ephesians 2:13-18:
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups (note: believers from the Gentiles and believers from the Jews) one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. The Red-glowing Carpet
 
In connection with this revelation I saw a red-glowing carpet that rolled out in the atmosphere in the spiritual realm and represented Jesus Christ as the only way to the Heavenly Father (see John 14:6).
 
John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
 
While seeing this, I heard the Lord speaking:
 
There, where My living Word is present, a higher spiritual level arises, so that there comes up a movement of higher spiritual authority!” (see John 1:1.14; Revelation 19:13)
 
John 1:1.14:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. …
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
 
Revelation 19:13:
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
 
That walk on this red-glowing rolled out carpet implies the advancement of the priesthood and kingdom of the Son of God according to the eternal order of Melchizedek (see Hebrews 5:5-6).
 
Hebrews 5:5-6:
5 In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father (see Psalm 2:7).” …
6 And he says in another place, “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek (see Psalm 110:4).”
 
Believers who are spirit-filled (note: born from above) who move on this “carpet” or in this spiritual realm are aware of the meaning of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and show readiness to learn even more about the mystery of the cross of Jesus (see Ephesians 3:17-19).
 
Ephesians 3:17-19:
… 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
 
In summary, this revelation is an indication and orientation at the same time to consciously go deeper into the presence of God in this time, which confronts and rejects influences of resistance against His Word, His being and His sovereign work. This process reveals in a stronger way where “flesh” * (note: carnal) shows itself in mental power and wherein on the opposite side the spirit shows itself.
 
As a result, it may not be pleasant, cozy or comfortable for saints to be confronted, but this approach of God involves the redemption of burdens of saints. These burdens of saints as spirit men in Christ would only prevent them from bearing His increasing glory, as God is jealous for His people.
 
* => The term “flesh” describes the mind, will and actions of a person that is not controlled by God, but only by the earthly character – by sin (see Romans 8:1-17; Galatians 5:13-6.12; Ephesians 2:3; Philippians 3:3-4). Contrary to the spirit, the flesh in this case describes the condition by which sin has such a hold over a person and his members that his “flesh”, like a foreign body, controls his whole being, and this is connected to death (see Romans 7:5-25). <= (part excerpt from the CD-ROM Bible Edition of the Luther bible translation from 1984; word key number 10)
 
Therefore, it is wise to welcome the new time of transformation of becoming that one new man as to be submissively willing to let go of what is carnal, withstanding His wisdom (note: which is higher than ours) and past-oriented. This might be challenging, but it is His love and way to make us one with Him by being His body led by one head. As there is no other kingdom which is of the King of Kings, there must be revealed His authority on earth as it is in the heavens.

Based on several independent prophetic indications that the enemy is attacking the people of God with a high level of witchcraft in this period, I would like to share a dream I received in spring 2007. This dream carries revelation of the enemy's approach and is intended to help us how to strategically fight the spiritual battle according to Ephesians 6:12.
 
Ephesians 6:12:
12 For our struggle (note: battle) is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
 
The Dream: The Witch, the Serpent and the Female Soothsayer

In that dream I saw a faithful Christian lady that I knew, who had received permission from God having a look into a witch's scope of duties and observing her while operating.

Therein, she could hear the witch speak about the magical procedure regarding the conquest of land for darkness as the witch was taking out objects of magic from different shelves of her wooden cupboard. The floor of the place, which seemed like a room she was in, was made of sand.

In the sand there was a path that the witch was dividing into different sections. Each section was marked by a burning tea candle.

Then the witch was taking a white pottery snake with a red cross pattern on the head out of the cupboard. It was clear to see that the snake was malleable like Plasticine. She was placing the snake on the sandy ground and was leading it through the path. Each time the snake would arrive at the burning tealights (note: sub-section), the witch was fetching an object from her cupboard.

At three sections it was possible to clearly recognize these objects. At the first section it was a scorpion, which was enclosed in amber. The second section was a silver-plated spider, and the third section was a large gold-plated tarantula. While the witch was doing her job, she said:

“We are doing all these things from the high places.”
(note: High places are places where, among other things, people worshiped pagan gods. The term is used to describe the sphere of authority, power and ministry. High places or mountains are also symbolic for governments and authorities.)

Then the scene changed. I saw the first-born daughter of the same Christian lady in this dream. She was dressed in black and sitting at a table with a female fortune-teller who was laying cards for her.
Then, every time she was coming to her faithful mother, she would proudly say: “I know what will happen in the future.”
I could see how the daughter was full of gloating.
Then I saw her mother laughing at her daughter while saying that. I was aware that this hard and loud laughter was a divine laughter over the powers of darkness (see Psalm 37:13) and at the same time laughter as for the soothsayer would tell her daughter something about the future that would be true and not pleasing her daughter at all (see 1 Samuel 28:8-20 => Saul at the witch of En- Dor). Then the dream ended.
 
The Awareness of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit wants to draw our attention to the intrigues of the enemy and sensitize us to act strategically in the Spirit in order to destroy the plans of darkness (see 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
 
2 Corinthians 10:4-5:
4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
 
The adversary of God is currently using his magic arts to mislead many people. The Word of God even warns us that there will be a time when many people will fall away from belief and will be distracted (see Matthew 24:24 i.c.w. 1 Timothy 4:1).
 
Matthew 24:24:
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
 
1 Timothy 4:1:
1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
 
Believers in the Structure of Saul
 
This deals with believers in Christ having no true relationship with Jesus Christ and also with those having a bitter root in their heart because of disappointment in God (note: because they have not experienced God intervening in their lives in the way they expected Him to). Because of this wound of disappointment, these believers run the risk of being seduced by witchcraft. The enemy’s goal is to bring destruction especially to the church by making her as weak as can be (see Psalm 17:11-12 i.c.w. John 10:10a; 1 Peter 5:8).
 
Psalm 17:11-12:
11 They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a fierce lion crouching in cover.
 
John 10:10a:
10a The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; …
 
1 Peter 5:8:
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
 
King Saul is a warning example in this context. He is a representation of believers who cultivate a religious mindset (note: knowing much about God without having a true relationship through Jesus Christ with the Heavenly Father) and are not willing to surrender their complete will to God and follow His command.
 
The result of this is that there is no supernatural instruction and manifestation of God in their lives. The ultimate consequence is that they even come under the power of the enemy and turn to demonic influences, although they were previously opposed to these influences (see 1 Samuel 28:3b.6-8).
 
1 Samuel 28:3b.6-8:
… 3b Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.
6 He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.
7 Saul then said to his attendants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.” “There is one in Endor,” they said.
8 So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. “Consult a spirit for me,” he said, “and bring up for me the one I name.”
 
In the midst of this twisted heart attitude, the power of God's holy laughter will manifest itself over the persons concerned and will bring up truth to bring light into both sides (note: the person acting in sorcery and the person who is disobedient) (see 1 Samuel 28:16-19.21)!
 
1 Samuel 28:16-19.21:
16 Samuel said, “Why do you (note: Saul) consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and become your enemy?
17 The Lord has done what he predicted through me. The Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors – to David.
18 Because you did not obey the Lord or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the Lord has done this to you today.
19 The Lord will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The Lord will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”…
21 When the woman (note: the witch of Endor) came to Saul and saw that he was greatly shaken, she said, “Look, your servant has obeyed you. I took my life in my hands and did what you told me to do.
 
The White Snake
 
The white snake mentioned in the dream with the red cross pattern on its head is a reference to the religious spirit that tries to devour all spirit-filled “things” with the aim of spiritually suffocating believers in Christ (see Matthew 23:27.33).
 
Matthew 23:27.33:
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.
33 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?
 
The Sand
 
The sand on the ground is an indication of the foundation of false prophets and of those being unwilling to obey (see Matthew 7:26).
 
Matthew 7:26:
26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
 
The Burning Tealights
 
The lit tealights indicate temporal sections of darkness of the adversary who brings together all the might of his devilish power to achieve his goal of destruction. These temporal fixed sections of darkness are accompanied by great confusion in the visible world, where destruction and other unusual things occur.
 
These signs should not discourage us as people of God from becoming inactive, but rather meant to awaken us to spread and share the glory of God by living a lifestyle of true worship.
 
The Meaning of Sorcery and Witchcraft
 
=> The words sorcery and witchcraft come from the Greek word “pharmakia”. These words can indicate the administration of drugs, the poisoning or practicing of magical arts.
Sorcery is an attempt to contact supernatural beings or forces, to control, manipulate, or to interact with the spirits of death through various invocations, spells, and occult practices.
Sorcery may appear as an innocent spiritual form and practice, or it may appear dark and ungodly.
Therefore, the religious spirit is closely related to witchcraft/magic because its purpose is to keep people from knowing Jesus Christ and the Gospel. <= (note: based on an explanation about witchcraft from the book “Freedom From The Religious Spirit” by C. Peter Wagner, pages 106 and 107)
=> Furthermore witchcraft means to solve destinies of others by commanding powers of evil spirits to act.
It also refers to magic, spirit invocation and sorcery.
Witchcraft also means using higher human power over others and objects with the help of impure spirits as well as practicing sorcery, casting spells and magic.
Witchcraft is the practice of manipulating creation and human beings or events with the help of to evoke manifestations desired by the occultist.
Apart from the Creator's justice, sorcerers use drinks and intoxicants to appear in various ways in reality and delusions in the objects of their desire.
Sorcery or magic is identified in the New Testament as “pharmakia” for its frequent application of magic potions and libations to invocations and spells (see Galatians 5:10). <= (based on an explanation from the “Prophet`s Dictionary" by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 522)
 
The Scorpion and the Two Spiders
 
The scorpion and the two spiders indicate the degree of evil power to paralyze the people of God or even stun them with poison (note: e.g. by false prophetic words, wrong doctrines and other things).
 
Paula A. Price writes the following explanation about the scorpion in her book “The Prophet’s Dictionary”:
=> The scorpion is a: A) Stinger. It is a subordinate agent of the serpent beneath the dragon. The scorpion is the piercing “one” who watches and studies his victims from afar in order to sting.
B) Injury through stealth and concealment such as that caused by occultic, psychic and magical means.
The scorpion is a supernatural watcher on the lookout, as a scout for darkness, for the opportunity to sting, seduce and entice another to the cause of the dragon. It is an agent that pierces the surface to dig in and inject its poison.
C) The scorpion is a scandal monger who uses entrapments that entice its victims into sin and ultimately to apostatize. <= (partial excerpt from the “Prophet’s Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 488)
 
The spider is a reference to sorcery and witchcraft. It works with deceitfulness by weaving nearly invisible traps for its victims to catch them and suffocate them in their actions.
 
The tarantula is an indication of the enemy's seductive influence over humans by luring them into the sources of distraction. The result of a tarantula bite is that people are under a delusion or going mad, which means living in deception. Many people who are under this influence live in sexual impurity or desire trying to satisfy their carnal lust.
 
The silver spider is an indication of twisted doctrine that perverts the word of God, while the gold spider indicates false beliefs rooted in the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10).
 
1 Timothy 6:10:
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
 
If we don't stop the enemy, these attacks will intensify.
Therefore, we shouldn't be passive towards Satan, but rather we should be aware of our dominance and triumph in Jesus Christ who has empowered us by grace to even step on snakes and scorpions in authority (see Luke 10:19).
 
Luke 10:19:
19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
 
Conclusion
 
If we as people of God move forward in the army of the Lord with Jesus Christ as our eternal King in the particular unit of the tribe assigned to us and respect the field of authority or commission of our neighbor within the army of the Lord, suddenly it will come to the knowledge of truth in the hearts of those who move in the midst of the field of sorcery and witchcraft.
The consequence of this is that the respective persons have to decide which God they want to serve and thus the result of their decision becomes visible (see Numbers 24:1-9 i.c.w. Malachi 3:18).

1 Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not resort to divination as at other times, but turned his face toward the wilderness.
2 When Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came on him 3 and he spoke his message: “The prophecy of Balaam son of Beor, the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly, 4 the prophecy of one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who falls prostrate, and whose eyes are opened: 5 “How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel!
6 “Like valleys they spread out, like gardens beside a river, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.
7 Water will flow from their buckets; their seed will have abundant water. “Their king will be greater than Agag; their kingdom will be exalted.
8 “God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them.
9 Like a lion they crouch and lie down, like a lioness – who dares to rouse them? “May those who bless you be blessed and those who curse you be cursed!”
 
Malachi 3:18:
18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
 
In order to be in the right position in the body of Christ and victoriously ward off the attacks of the enemy, a lifestyle of intimate love relationship with Jesus Christ and the Father as a mature son (note: willingness to live responsibly and in the order of God) and as His bride (note: personal devotion to live faithfully and in purity in the world without trying to be alike) is necessary.

Whenever we ourselves do neither turn left nor right from the straight path, we have the clarity and orientation as saints in the visible and invisible realms to recognize Satan’s strategic actions in time and to turn them away from us (note: our families, communities and areas of our authority) and to transform them into triumph to the glory of God.
