I would like to give the following message to address the light of God in relation to the value of time. From Psalm 36:9 it is obvious that God is the source of life and in His light we are able to see the light.

Psalm 36:9:
9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

The Hidden Knowledge of God and the Importance of the Sacrifice Of Jesus

It is good to clearly understand though the insight hidden in this mentioned Bible verse.
First of all, it is important to note that through Jesus Christ, the dead and the risen One, we are able to enter into the presence of God in the Spirit in order to be able to walk in the center of His eternal life and government (see John 14:6; John 3:16 i.c.w. Colossians 3:1-3).

John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'

John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Colossians 3:1-3:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

God's Respect for Temporary Time

Recently, I had received the news of a sudden death in our neighborhood where a person died at a relatively young age.

The reason why I am writing about it at this point is because with God the life we live in the temporary time has a special value. Therefore it is important that we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us to number our days so that we may become wise (see Psalm 90:12).

Psalm 90:12:
12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

This wisdom includes to fully comprehend the value of temporary time.
There is a quantity in the temporal time and that is the reason why the apostle Paul pointed out the importance of redeeming the time to the Ephesians (see Ephesians 5:15-16).

Ephesians 5:15-16:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity (note: redeeming the time), because the days are evil.

As people of God, it is so important for us to recognize the importance of the temporal time on earth because it involves the period in which we as human beings made in flesh and blood can worship God, the Father in Spirit and in truth (see Psalm 115:17-18 i.c.w. John 4:23-24).

Psalm 115:17-18:
17 It is not the dead who praise the Lord, those who go down to the place of silence; 18 it is we who extol the Lord, both now and forevermore. Praise the Lord. (Hallelujah.)

John 4:23-24:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

The value of surrendering to the Lord in the midst of that limited temporal period of time is especially honored by God in Heaven. This is also made clear by the fact that Jesus Christ appears in the spiritual realm in the facet of the Lamb of God being slain as a reference to the life of Jesus Christ in the temporal time, including His victory on the cross of Calvary.

Therefore it can be said that the facet of the Lamb of God in eternity represents the temporary period of the life of Jesus Christ on earth. It is the facet of the Lamb of God, which includes the entire life of Jesus on earth in flesh and blood (see Revelation 5:6; John 1:29.36).

Revelation 5:6:
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

John 1:29.36:
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! …'
… 36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, `Look, the Lamb of God!'

The Character of Light and Its Space of Time

In order to go deeper into the meaning of the light of God, I would like to note that the light of God has been given a different character through the different spaces of time (note: eternal time, temporal time) which is clearly evident by the Seven Spirits of God who are differently positioned in the 'space of time' of eternity.

On the one hand, the Seven Spirits of God are revealed as seven burning torches in front of God's throne, and on the other side they are seven shining eyes in the structure of the Lamb of God (see Revelation 4:5; Revelation 5:6).

The reason why I mentioned the eyes as luminous is simply because there is no darkness in God and the eye is the light of the body (see 1 John 1:5 i.c.w. Luke 11:34a).

1 John 1:5:
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Luke 11:34a:
34a Your eye is the lamp of your body. …

Since there is no sin in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God (see Hebrews 4:15), we can assume that His light shines through the seven eyes of the Seven Spirits of God, and ultimately it is the Lamb of God that is the lamp in the heavenly, anointed city of Jerusalem (note: structure of the Bride of Christ; see Revelation 21:23).

Hebrews 4:15:
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin.

Revelation 21:23:
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

The Interwoven Light in the Midst of the Heavenly City

In this Heavenly city (note: which is a structure of the spirit) does not rule the power of the light of the temporal time (note: no sun and moon exist) but the power of the light of the time of eternity (note: God's glory). The time of eternity is interwoven with the temporal measure of time of the Son of God (note: the time when Jesus Christ lived on the earth and gave himself as a sacrifice for mankind).

As a result, the city is flooded with the glorious light of the Heavenly Father by the lamp of the Lamb (note: the light of the fatherhood and sonship of God). This glorious light of eternity testifies the unity that Jesus Christ prayed for in John 17.

He prayed for those who were born from above (note: spirit filled – born again) and for the people later being born from above by their testimonies to be one (see John 3:3 i.c.w. John 17:11b-23) .

John 3:3:
3 Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again (note: from above).'

John 17:11b-23:
'… 11b Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. …
20 'My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – 23 I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. …'

The Different Characters of Light

In the presence of God there are different characters of light, for instance the lightnings of God that go forth from His throne, the seven burning torches before His throne as well as the seven eyes of the Lamb of God from which the light of the Lord comes forth (see Revelation 4:5; Revelation 5:6; Luke 11:34a).

Revelation 4:5:
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

Revelation 5:6:
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Luke 11:34a:
34a Your eye is the lamp of your body. …

The Lightnings of God and the Burning Torches Before the Throne of God

The lightnings of God carrying among other things this power of His inner being and His government to strengthen the saints (note: for their mission) who stand before the Throne according to Colossians 3:1-3 so that they may reveal the miraculous power of God to men on earth.

The burning torches, on the other hand, are in front of the Throne of God in the Throne room. They burn with a supernatural fire carrying within themselves the consuming nature of God which requires the substance of true devotion of believers to reveal His holiness and zeal. These two attributes are also connected with the fear of the Lord (see Deuteronomy 4:24; Psalm 50:3 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:28-29).

Deuteronomy 4:24:
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Psalm 50:3:
3 Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.

Hebrews 12:28-29:
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our 'God is a consuming fire.'

True Devotion and the Purchased Time

True devotion to Jesus Christ points to a person who has fully submitted himself/herself to the will and plan of God, investing his/her free time into the fellowship with Him. This means that the temporary time is purchased (note: redeemed) so that God honors the temporal time of the believer in eternity.

This used/purchased time of the believer is recognized by God as a measure of time that has its seat in the spiritual structure of the Lamb of God. This used or invested time has the character like the light that shines from one of the seven eyes of the Lamb of God.

The seven burning torches carry the light of the space of time of the eternity of God because they are connected with His Throne room.
The seven eyes of the Lamb of God in eternity carry the light of the space of the temporary time from the Son of God (note: while He lived on the earth and sacrificed His life on the cross of Calvary for mankind).

This light of the space of the temporary time from the Son of God releases the riches of the inner being of Jesus which is His true love to us and the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge (see Romans 5:8-10; 1 John 4:9 i.c.w. Colossians 2:2-3) of God.

Romans 5:8-10:
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

1 John 4:9:
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

The Fusion of the Eternal Light and the Identification of God With the Temporary Time

The fusion of the light of the eternity of God with the light of the temporal time of the Son of God finds its climax in the bridal structure, the heavenly, anointed city of Jerusalem, where the glory of God and the Lamb of God are the only cause for the illumination of the city (see Revelation 21:23).

Revelation 21:23:
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

God, the Heavenly Father as well as His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ in eternity identify themselves with us as living human beings in the temporary time calling themselves the Alpha and the Omega, even though they are eternal (see Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:13 i.c.w. Hebrews 7:3).

Revelation 1:8:
8 'I am the Alpha and the Omega,'says the Lord God, 'who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.'

Revelation 22:13:
13 I (note: Jesus Christ) am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Hebrews 7:3:
3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.

Conclusion

So this revelatory character of God's light of space and time should help forward to keep in mind that time is valuable and precious, especially when our time has been spent in submission to Him, who desires to be one with us.

Amen and Amen.

Introduction

We as Body of Christ are presently living in the biblical year 5777 (“Ajin-Sajin”), with the biggest measure of time still to come, and I am confident that the LORD will work and form new things in our lives during the rest of this year. Therefore I would like to go into the subject of the hand of the Father and the wings of the cherubim.

The Hand Of God And The Creation Of Man

The hand of the Heavenly Father is closely connected to the creation of Adam and Eve, the first two humans that were formed in perfection as man and woman by the hand of God, and were raised up in their best maturity. This agile maturity came into effect only by the breath of God, which made them able to walk in God's garden as living souls.

Adam and Eve did not live through the stages of infancy, childhood and youth, but were created by the hand and breath of God as man and woman.

This points towards the relevance of the outer and inner touch of God, which generates an autonomous motion (note: by choice) of the human being.

It is the outer touch of the Heavenly Father that transfers responsibility to us as God's sons/daughters, the inner touch of God causes us to walk in the truth of the Heavenly Father (see Numbers 27:18-20; Acts 8:17 i.c.w. John 16:13-15).

Numbers 27:18-20:
18 So the Lord said to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him.
19 Have him stand before Eleazar the priest and the entire assembly and commission him in their presence.
20 Give him some of your authority so the whole Israelite community will obey him.

Acts 8:17:
17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13-15:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

The Dawn Of Existence Of Our Divine Identity

This means it is important for the Heavenly Father that we walk in the identity He gives us. As far as God is concerned, our identity began existing before we were conceived on earth, as revealed in Psalm 139:13-16 and also in Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Psalm 139:13-16:
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Jeremiah 1:4-5:
4 The word of the LORD came to me, saying, 5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

The Fog, The Hands Of God And The Breath

Divine identity is the identity connected to the dew/ground fog (note: the promise on earth – nationality), to the loving hand of God (note: God's providence) and to His breath (note: His life). It is released in the natural intimacy of a married couple (note: man and woman) according to the word of God in love, so that human life can come into being.

When a man and a woman get intimate, i.e. become one in accordance with the order of God, it first of all shows the structure of the father, just as Adam was first formed in his basic structure. Later on God placed him into an expanded love order which is a mirror for the love and unity of Jesus and the church (see Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:6-7; Genesis 2:18.21-25; Ephesians 5:31-33).

Genesis 1:27:
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 2:6-7:
… 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Genesis 2:18.21-25:
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” …
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.
22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

God's Eternal Plan

=> In the way, children have their beginning within their parents by being formed from the seed of the father and growing in the womb of the mother, so Jesus Christ, the son of God, began His life on earth: He was sired in Mary by the Holy Spirit in God, the Father.
This emphasises that all life comes from God.
People come into existence outside of God as His handiwork.
When we as people of God observe the Heavenly Father doing something on earth, it is vital to understand that He doesn't just implement His will suddenly, when encountering obstacles while advancing in the earth; rather, at the point of time determined by Him, the Heavenly Father executes the things He wrote down a long time ago.
He carries out this course of action by using recorded prescience as a means, revelation as a method and prophecy as a media tool, through which the LORD rules the earth and redeems His eternal offspring.
This shows quite clearly that His long-time plan has always been in effect. <= (Part excerpt from the book „Before the Garden: God's Eternal Continuum“ by Dr. Paula A. Price, pages 45 and 53)
[note of the translator: the above excerpt is a re-translation from a German translation of the original text]

The Creative Power Of God And The Challenge

We can expect challenges when the Heavenly Father takes something from the spirit realm to shape our lives in the earth realm.
The Hebrew word „jāẓar“, used in the natural to describe an act of „forming/shaping“, emphasises this (see Genesis 2:7). „Jāẓar“ describes a piece of art formed by an artist.

Man was formed by God from the dust of the ground like the potter forms an earthen vessel from clay. „Jāẓar“ also means „to be aligned, to be tight, to be in distress, to be confused and to be moved (note: in ones emotions).“ (Part explanation from Strong's Concordance regarding the Hebrew word „jāẓar“ with language key number H3335)

The Hand Of God in The Present Day

The hand of God still moves in the present day, even if we don't perceive it as a physical hand.
The hand of God reigns from heaven above on earth, and it is connected to the spirit realm and to the faith of His people, because God is spirit.

The hand of God can be likened to the cloud, the servant of Elijah saw in the sky and which later manifested as heavy rain. It was a reference to the perfect blessing of God (see 1 Kings 18:44-45a i.c.w. John 4:24; Hebrew 12:1a).

1 Kings 18:44-45a:
44 The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’ ”
45a Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling …

John 4:24:
24 God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Hebrews 12:1a:
1a Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses (note of faith), …

The Wings Of The Cherubim And The Hand Of God

The hand of the Heavenly Father always works from the covering of His glory – this is expressed in the wings of the cherubim.
The book of Ezekiel describes how the hand of God becomes visible underneath the wings of the cherubim (see Ezekiel 10:8).

Ezekiel 10:8:
8 (Under the wings of the cherubim could be seen what looked like human hands.)

It becomes apparent that it is the hand of God, when we look at the previous verse of Ezekiel 10:7 where the hands of the cherubim are first mentioned.

Ezekiel 10:7:
7 Then one of the cherubim reached out his hand to the fire that was among them. He took up some of it and put it into the hands of the man in linen, who took it and went out.

The Hebrew word for „cherub“ means „glancing appearance, lightning“. „Cherubim“ means translated „great one, mighty one“. The wheels of the cherubim form the throne of God; they carry God in reverence and reveal His glory by their characteristic trait.

In the bible, the hand of God is mostly mentioned in the singular and is connected to God's creativity, His signs and wonders, His prophetic directive, His throne room glory, as well as the drawing up into the supernatural prophetic realm (see Genesis 2:7; Exodus 9:3; 1 Samuel 5:6; 2 Kings 3:15-16; Ezekiel 1:3-4; Ezekiel 8:1-3a).

Genesis 2:7:
7 Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Exodus 9:3:
… 3 the hand of the LORD will bring a terrible plague on your livestock in the field – on your horses, donkeys and camels and on your cattle, sheep and goats.

1 Samuel 5:6:
6 The LORD’s hand was heavy on the people of Ashdod and its vicinity; he brought devastation on them and afflicted them with tumors.

2 Kings 3:15-16:
15 But now bring me a harpist.” While the harpist was playing, the hand of the Lord came on Elisha 16 and he said (note: prophesied), “This is what the LORD says: I will fill this valley with pools of water.

Ezekiel 1:3-4:
… 3 the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, by the Kebar River in the land of the Babylonians. There the hand of the LORD was on him.
4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north – an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, …

Ezekiel 8:1-3a:
1 In the sixth year, in the sixth month on the fifth day, while I was sitting in my house and the elders of Judah were sitting before me, the hand of the Sovereign LORD came on me there.
2 I looked, and I saw a figure like that of a man. From what appeared to be his waist down he was like fire, and from there up his appearance was as bright as glowing metal.
3a He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. …

Amen and Amen.

Übersetzung: Margit Kelly

Jesus Christ has said about us as His chosen people that we are the light of the world which can not be hidden, therefore I would like to share this word referring to the upward or forward shining light of the Menorah entirely made of gold (see Matthew 5:14-16 i.c.w. Numbers 8:1-4).

Matthew 5:14-16:
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Numbers 8:1-4:
1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to Aaron and say to him, ‘When you set up the lamps, see that all seven light up the area in front of the lampstand.’ ”
3 Aaron did so; he set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
4 This is how the lampstand was made: It was made of hammered gold – from its base to its blossoms. The lampstand was made exactly like the pattern the Lord had shown Moses.

The Procedure For The Ignition Of The Lamps Of The Menorah

Moses was instructed by God to speak to Aaron and to instruct him how to ignite the Menorah.
It is said that Aaron should put the lamps of the Menorah like this, so that all seven lamps should shine forward with its light.
Based on this approach I would like to address a few aspects helping us to understand how divine illumination of a determined space by God happens.

The Shew-Bread, The Bread Of His Presence

This forward shining light created a light cone that illuminated the table of the shew-bread in the Holy Place of the tabernacle that is the bread of His presence (see Exodus 25:30; Exodus 26:35 i.c.w. Leviticus 24:5-7).

Exodus 25:30:
30 Put the bread of the Presence on this table to be before me at all times.

Exodus 26:35:
35 Place the table outside the curtain on the north side of the tabernacle and put the lampstand opposite it on the south side.

Leviticus 24:5-7:
5 “Take the finest flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf.
6 Arrange them in two stacks, six in each stack, on the table of pure gold before the Lord.
7 By each stack put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be a food offering presented to the Lord.

The illuminated twelve layers of shew-bread represents the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the Spirit of Prophecy (see Revelation 19,10e).

Revelation 19:10e:
… 10e for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

And it is prophecy that is like a light. Prophecy can not work separately from the Word of God and His Holy Spirit (see 2 Peter 1:19-21).

2 Peter 1:19-21:
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

The Place Where God Allows His Light To Shine

First of all, it is important to recognize where God wants His light to shine and that it usually shines where it is dark and gloomy in order to bring clarity (see Genesis 1:1-3 i.c.w. Matthew 4:15-16).

Genesis 1:1-3:
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Matthew 4:15-16:
15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles – 16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light (note: Jesus Christ); on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”
17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

In the first place, God makes His light shine through Jesus Christ the Lamb of God because the Lamb possesses the character of a lamp which is the reason why it is no coincidence that Jesus Christ was seen from men as a great light when He walked on earth in flesh and blood (see Revelation 21:23 i.c.w. Matthew 4:16).

Revelation 21:23:
23 The city (note: the messianic/anointed Jerusalem) does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Matthew 4:16:
“… 16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light (note: Jesus Christ); on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.”

The Lamb of God is the facet of the spiritual characteristic in the invisible world of Jesus Christ carrying the presence of Jesus while He lived on earth in the temporal time (note: round about 33 years; see Luke 3:23) as well as His final victory, that He achieved on the middle cross of Calvary.

The Setting Up Of The Lamps And Its Ignition

In Exodus 8:2 we are told that Aaron (note: means “light mountain, enlightenment”) should place the lamps of the Menorah so that they might shine to the front.
The Hebrew word for "set up" used in this passage is "'ālāh" and means "going up, ascending. It also describes the movement from a lower place to a higher place."
The Hebrew word for the "forward shining light" is "ôr" and means among other things "the source of light/daylight as the first created work of God as well as illumination, bright, glorious, ignited, joy". (partial excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible to the word "'ālāh" with the word key number 6045 and the word "'ôr" with the word key number 220)

So looking closely to the attributes that contributed to the Menorah being illuminated according to God's will, we can clearly see that the obedience of Aaron following the instruction of God by Moses was necessary in the first place.
At this point, Aaron representing saints who have already maintained a close relationship with God over a long period of time, who are spiritually mature as well as empowered to advance in a high sphere of revelation and in the knowledge of the Lord in order to be enabled to fill the predestined space with divine revelation by God.

This divine fulfillment of the predestined space is closely connected to the ignition of the spirit of believers (note: like the lighting of the wicks of the seven lamps of the Menorah) who would move forward in spirit and in truth in unity and also in the richness of faith. Furthermore, they should be ready to go to a higher spiritual level in Jesus Christ. It is necessary for those believers to be submitted to a spiritually competent leadership empowering them to go higher in the spirit by their knowledge.

The Soul Of Man And The Flame

According to the Word of God, the soul/spirit of man is a light or rather a flame (see Proverbs 20:27).

Proverbs 20:27:
27 The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one’s inmost being.

And similarly as the flame of a candle moves and always searches its way upward so should we as believers in Jesus Christ always pursue to go higher in the spirit and consequently to mature as sons in the relationship with God, the Father (see Romans 8:14).

Romans 8:14:
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children (note: sons) of God.

The Task Of Competent Spiritual Leadership

It is the task of competent spiritual leaders to contribute this ignition to their assigned believers by applying the fire of God so that believers in the future may shine more intensely by the fresh fire of the Spirit that has its seat in the victory or the triumph of Jesus Christ (Luke 12:49a).

Luke 12:49a:
49 “I (note: Jesus Christ) have come to bring fire on the earth, …”

The Wick And The Flame Of Fire

The fire of the seven lamps of the Menorah being connected to the wick represents the abidance in the Word or rather the teaching of God that we need in our lives on earth so that faith would increase in us and its light can contribute on earth to the reality of the supernatural world where God dwells (see Romans 10:17 i.c.w. Hebrews 11:6).

Romans 10:17:
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Hebrews 11:6:
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

The Cone Of Light That Shines Forward

The light of the ignited lamps of the Menorah created an upward or frontward falling light cone, which filled the room with light in which the Menorah stood. This light is equivalent to the character of the new dawning of the day as the Hebrew word "ôr" describes it as the beginning source of (all) light. This light is destined to expel the darkness and bring separation between light and darkness (Genesis 1:3-5).

Genesis 1:3-5:
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.

The Mystery Of The Daylight Of God

Jesus Christ is the light of God who carries the mystery of the window of time of the first day of creation.
The first day shows the movement of Jesus as the Son of God before the Father, who "played" between the sphere of the Father and the earth while being moved to restore God's order of the dimension "earth".
When Jesus, the Son of God had created the things in the sphere of the earth before the Father to an end (note: which equates to a playing child before his parents that comes home after playing), He returned into the arms of His Father. This procedure of “coming home” manifested as evening and morning on the earth.
In order to better understand how Jesus played before God and what He created, can be found in the Hebrew word "ôr" for "light/daylight", which is used in Genesis 1:3 (note: explanation to the Hebrew word “or” see above).
What Jesus did was that He has weaved the life of God, His glory, His passionate love, and His joy into the earth where Adam and Eve and all generations to come should enter. We therefore can rejoice that we may live in the perfect presence of His eternal light in eternity (see Revelation 21:23)!

Revelation 21:23:
23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Amen and Amen.
