Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.—Job 5:7

Salvation does not exempt us from the everyday problems of life. Those who are fully committed to the Lord often find themselves entangled in ongoing difficulties. Finally, a release comes, only to find that another pressure has taken the place of the one that was resolved.

There is a reason for these difficulties. Therefore, we should view them as servants, placed in our circumstances to accomplish a higher purpose.

Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.—II Corinthians 12:10

Only as we refuse to allow these seemingly unending pressures and difficulties to hinder us, and instead rise above or overcome them, will we be able to successfully "press toward the mark" for the prize that our Lord has made available for us – our becoming His Bride.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus... I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 3:12-14

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready." And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.—Revelation 19:7-8

How We Can Make Ourselves Ready

We may ask, "How can we make ourselves ready?" This is accomplished as we respond appropriately to the circumstances, testings, and disciplines of obedience that we face, and recognize them as the means to prepare us. As we "press toward the mark for the prize," we are "making ourselves ready." Therefore, it is important that we respond in heart obedience, looking to the Lord for a way through these difficult times.

Those who have submitted the totality of their being to the Lord, and are seeking His highest, are "potentially" His Bride (that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended). Not one of us can say, "I am the Bride," as the Bridegroom chooses who will sit with Him on His throne, as His Bride. Our part is to make ourselves so desirable that we will be chosen in that day, having made ourselves ready for the "marriage supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:7-8).

"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind (the ongoing pressures we face in our daily life experience), and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God, in Christ Jesus."—Philippians 3:13-14 (comment added)

Just as a young woman anticipates her wedding day and prepares herself, so also the Bride of our Lord Jesus Christ is to prepare for this day. She is to "clothe herself" in fine linen, clean and white. This speaks of the "righteous acts of the saints" in which she actively faces and overcomes the problems and pressures of life.

It is the "overcomer" who will sit with Jesus in His Throne, as His Bride.

To him who overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.—Revelation 3:21

This process will be effective only when we accept the fact that these pressures have been placed in our daily life experience to "press" us into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ. A permanent press in our slacks requires both heat and pressure.

All the commandments which I command you this day you shall be watchful to do, that you may live and multiply and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers. And you shall [earnestly] remember all the way which the Lord your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and to prove you, to know what was in your [mind and] heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.—Deuteronomy 8:1-2

In foreknowledge, the Lord knows whether we will persevere to receive this prize of sitting with Him in His Throne, but this is not enough. We must respond and do our part. Therefore, He will take us through diverse experiences so we ourselves can make the necessary decisions to rise above and overcome these pressures.

We Must Recognize Our Dependence is to Be On the Lord Himself

The Lord may permit us to remain without satisfaction for a time, while our problems linger without an apparent solution. If we were quickly or easily released from these and given an uncluttered pathway, we would relax and feel that we had arrived. There would be little inner change or spiritual progress, as we would be resting in the blessings and provision that we received, rather than "pressing toward the mark for the prize" (our becoming His Bride).

Sometimes the Lord places us under a ministry that is less than we would wish. He may even cause a spiritually mature and capable minister to appear to be "dumb" concerning our problems. Thus, we will be forced to seek the Lord.

For example, I approached Walter Beuttler concerning a very troublesome problem. I became confused, because although he had an outstanding walk with the Lord, he was unable to help me. Later, as I sought the Lord under extreme pressure, the Word began to expose my true need, rather than giving me what I wanted – a pat on the back and a rebuke for the other person involved.

And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know...—Deuteronomy 8:3

Only then could I truly recognize my dependence was to be on the Lord Himself.

"For Whom the Lord Loves He Chastens, and Scourges Every Son Whom He Receives"

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives."—Hebrews 12:5-6

We are chastened when we do something that we should not be doing, and as a concerned Father, the Lord deals with us. Whenever I am spiritually spanked and corrected, I rejoice, as the Word says, "Whom the Lord loves, He corrects."

The Lord is hindered in chastening us when we have not surrendered to Him the right to all that we are and have. In the Garden of Eden, Adam gave up his dependence on the Lord and chose to become independent by eating from the tree of (self) knowledge. Later, an animal was slain and Adam was covered with its skin. He was forgiven, but he had eaten, and now the "right to choose for himself" was within him.

Although we are forgiven through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, we also still have within us the right to our own lives, as we also "ate" of the tree of self-knowledge.

When I saw this, I carefully gave back to the Lord the right to do as I please. Jesus is my Savior, but now He is more than this – He has become my Lord. Therefore, I can place myself under His headship and ask Him to chasten me, that I might enter into and possess all that He has for me.

As we rightly respond to the process of being tested and corrected, we grow spiritually and enter into our spiritual identity as a mature son. Now we are ready to be scourged, which is beyond our being chastened, as the Word tells us that "every son whom the Lord receives, He scourges" (Hebrews 12:6).

I am chastened when I do something wrong. Our being scourged has nothing to do with any wrongdoing. Rather, it has to do with the reduction of our independence and is an indication that we are doing everything right (every son He receives). Scourging reaches into the very depth of our being and crucifies our self-life (our right to our own ways), and removes our propensity toward all self-sufficiency.

A spirited horse has to be broken before it can be ridden. This is done, not because the horse has done something wrong, but so it can become productive. Likewise, scourging has to do with our becoming a yielded vessel in the hand of the Lord.

John W. Follette once said that there are few who minister out of a broken spirit. This is because there are few who are willing to go through the process of being reduced, through scourging.

We may feel that we do not deserve the problems that we find in our pathway, and this is true. But they are there because the Lord is seeking to make us far more capable and useful to Him in the outworking of His purposes.

Only then can the Lord trust us with receiving an impartation of His glory and the end-time authority, which is about to be released.

And to him who overcomes and obeys My commands to the very end, I will give authority over the nations of the earth. And he shall be their shepherd, ruling them with a rod of iron, just as earthenware jars are broken to pieces; and his power over them shall be like that which I Myself have received from My Father.—Revelation 2:26-27 WEY

PROPHETIC CHAMBER

"I have many hidden champions living quietly in obscurity who have Heaven's attention."

That is a statement I heard from the Lord in a dream while in Tucson, Arizona during our, "Sons, Taught of the Lord" conference.

On the second morning of our conference I had a powerfully vivid dream that provided a very encouraging message. In it, I found myself in a horse stable with the great racing champion, Secretariat. I was thrilled to observe firsthand Secretariat's beauty and strength; his mere presence was awe-inspiring.

While admiring this incredible champion I was also reminded of the revelatory messages I have brought since 2002 involving Secretariat as a prophetic picture of God's last day champions; men and women of valor with enlarged heart's for God and increased capacity for His Kingdom. I've written about this in, "Books of Destiny" and shared it in numerous spoken messages.

At that moment a gentleman walked into the stable that I intuitively recognized as the foremost authority on horses. He watched for a moment as I admired Secretariat, then spoke saying, "Secretariat was a great champion—but there were many more just as great as he was who also had enlarged hearts and great capacity." I was somewhat startled at that statement and argued slightly saying, "Secretariat was the single greatest champion ever. There was no horse greater than Secretariat."

With that statement the man gently stated that he begged to differ. He went on to explain there were many great champions just like Secretariat who also had enlarged hearts and great capacity, but they lived in secret and in obscurity. I then realized that I was not speaking with a mere authority on horses, it was the Lord! I was receiving a much-needed lesson on a Kingdom mystery.

Many More Hidden

The Lord was letting me know for every celebrated champion known in a public forum, there are also many others just as great who are satisfied to live covertly and never widely known. Even so, they have Heaven's attention and win great victories in His name and release considerable authority in the Earth.

Our Great Redeemer is going to touch His people and amplify our desperation for Him and His Spirit. We will be so filled with Kingdom there will simply be no room for anything else such as doubt, unbelief or the spirit of this world.

The end-of-the-age Bridal Company/Sons of the Kingdom will have increased capacity for God. The eternal truth of 2 Chronicles 16:9 is directly applicable saying:

For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His…

He let me know that many of these will experience profound increase and expansion and be given a public forum and ministry with various media outlets to promote the Kingdom's message; but for every one of those there are many others that are strategically hidden. I knew that was a message for this hour.

Special Grace for the Hidden

There is a grace and anointing for those living in secret places whose "life is hidden with Christ in God." Maybe they do not have a public platform, but there are many grandmas, grandpas, stay at home moms and others who have great capacity for God with vital roles in His plan. There is going to be a pronounced grace and favor placed upon their intercession and revelation that will have considerable Kingdom impact.

While sharing that in Tucson I was also reminded of another experience. It was the instance of having received a profound revelation that I had never read in a book nor heard someone preach. A revelation dealing with divine justice and its relevance in the last days.

I felt the Lord had perhaps extended His scepter to me and had directly given me this wonderful breakthrough revelation of Biblical truth. However, sometime after that I went into a vision and I watched a little granny who lived alone spending her hours interceding and praying for the revelation of the Kingdom. She literally bombarded Heaven with her prayers until the Heavens opened. It was as though she came directly before the Lord Himself and He extended His scepter to her like Esther. I watched as the Lord gave her the very revelation that I had subsequently received. I then watched as she began to decree and proclaim that revelation.

I was experiencing a parabolic picture of how revelatory insight is often gathered and released in the Earth. As she prophesied the revelation it was as though that message went forth from her mouth and broadcasted into the Spirit realm. It was a scene similar to that in Isaiah 51:16 saying:

I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, "You are My people."

She did not prophesy it to a crowd of people nor a corporate body, but privately under a powerful canopy of God's anointing. I watched that message go forth from her mouth into the heavenly realm like a radio signal. I then observed myself enter my prayer closet and put up my "revelatory antenna" and spiritually discern or tune into the very revelation she had received and decreed into the Spirit. I then began to formulate that truth into written and spoken messages. I saw how the orchestration of Heaven involves us all in His plans and purposes and the fruit goes into all our heavenly accounts accordingly.

She actually received the breakthrough revelation and prophesied it into the Spirit. There are many key individuals who do not have a public forum or a large platform to share their revelation, but that is the way the Lord intended it. There are the "Simeons and Annas" that we discover in Luke 2 that live in obscurity but with a promise from God.

The Annas and Simeons

The prophetess Anna spent the vast majority of her adult life in the Temple praying, fasting and waiting for the Redemption of Israel. Simeon had an individual promise from God that he would not taste death until he had seen the "Consolation of Israel." There you have these two individuals living in obscurity but with God's promises.

They were satisfied to live hidden while contending for the realization of the promise. It was given to them with an incredible fulfillment by holding in their hands the Salvation of Israel, the Messiah, and Redeemer of the world. What a privilege!

The prophetic message and word of encouragement for these hidden champions is that grace is being granted for you to go into that place of prayer, intercession and birthing. The Lord has shown me these are humble and contrite individuals that do not demand a lot of attention or a large platform, but are satisfied having God's attention; saints who know God and when they pray the heavens shake.

I want to encourage you in that destiny and responsibility. Continue to prophesy your revelations into Spirit realm. Though you may not be required to stand before a company of people, many of the most profound decrees and proclamations will go forth in a very intimate setting. Even so, that word will go into the realm of the Spirit and will not return void without accomplishing its purpose; that is, to make way for the Kingdom of Heaven to bring forth a Bridal Company/Sons of the Kingdom that will transform this generation.

Prophetic Alert May 2, 2011:

If there's a judgment to come, it will be spoken. I spoke about Katrina and it was very clear, and so did other prophets speak about that very thing that happened. But at this point in time, God is standing up for this nation. We have seen the prayers of President Bush come to pass. He prayed and fought for the capture of Bin Laden and the ultimate victory of the USA has happened.

As I wrote you all, we honor and thank the armed forces for their bravery and for their ultimate victory in destroying the influence and destructive power of Al Qaeda. You are our heroes and we thank you and we salute you.

Al Qaeda and Terrorist Groups

Now, getting to Al Qaeda, this is the end of a season and era for them. We're going to show you prophetic words that were recorded and given about the "year after" – after what is happening in the Middle East right now. The next one is Gaddafi, we know that. This is going to unsettle Al Qaeda and many terrorist groups, as you're going to see in the word that I gave to President Bush in 2004 which I could not make public then, but I can today because he has been captured and killed.

Now, I am allowed to do this; I am at liberty to do this. I have witnesses that were there when I sent this word and wrote it out. We have it dated and we have it on record. The reason I'm saying that is because now something very unusual is going to happen in the dismantling of many of these terrorist groups. You're going to see in this word, I prophesied that the place that he's caught at will have so much information, intelligence for the United States of America and other countries that have fought this, that this will literally lead to the end of and the destruction of the present terrorist groups.

A Mass Evangelism

Middle Eastern youth are rising, as are women, and the changing of the guard is imminent. America is about to be united as never before. God is showing His magnificence and God wants to unite this nation and He will.

If you think God is not interested in reaching the whole world, you're wrong. If you think this is the end and God's just going to leave it like this, no! There is a revival and a move of God that is going to cover the earth. And the youth of the Middle East and even Israel, and the United States of America and many other western nations will have this sound that will come, that will reach into the hearts of many. 

A mass evangelism is going to take place. Churches on streets in the nation; house churches, if you wish, on the streets of America. Dancing in the streets – all kinds of sounds. What I've seen is massive. If you would just see what I see today; it is so powerful.

If you think the Spirit of the Lord has brought us to a place where we have nothing left, you're wrong, for the Spirit of God says, "I want you to feel what the Spirit of God is feeling right now – an expectation of the people, the raising up of Davids and Daniels and Esthers. A sound is going to come before Me," says the Lord, "that is going to be pleasing to Me – so pleasing that I will have an invitation from this generation to come and to dwell amongst them. I will have an invitation that will come though music and through art and they will rise up and say, ''We cannot hear from Allah. There is no sound; we cannot hear from any other religious gods.' Yeshua will be shouted out."

God said, "My plan is for My glory and the knowledge of My glory to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea; to touch every home, to go into lives and to set mankind free. This was My original intention; it has not changed. In fact, because of the destruction of this one figure," God says, "there will be major terrorist groups that will fall. They will fall and many will rise up and say, 'Where are they, where are they?'"

And God said, "I will rise up strong; I will rise up through leaders and I will reach out and I will minister to them and they shall shout out, 'Yeshua, Yeshua!'" God says, "Prepare yourself for this, for this day that is upon you is a grand day. This day that is upon you is a magnificent day," God says, "Open your eyes and see it, for it surely is coming to pass in your lifetime," says the Lord.
