The Greater Glory Of God

Being Ready For The New Season

Every time when God is opening up a new season for His church it is important for the people of God to be ready for the move of the Holy Spirit bringing transformation in the earth realm.
This transformation is linked to the greater glory like a caterpillar being transformed into a butterfly at the right time.

As Jesus came as a human being into the earth realm at God's appointed time change began to happen in the house of God by the presence of the greater light (see John 1:1-5).

John 1:1-5:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

=> In the beginning was the word. This passage of the verse goes back to eternity, when God created everything, namely what we see and also what we do not see. Everything was created by the Word.

The Word was with God. The second part of the verse goes further back to a time when nothing had been created. Even at this time the Word was with God.

The Word was God. The third part of the verse goes back even further to a time when the Word was God before the Word came out of God.

Since the Word of God is called in John 1:4 a person (“Him”), one can recognize that the Word is a person. And this person is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the life and light of men (see John 8:12).

John 1:4:
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

John 8:12:
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Jesus Christ is the Word that came from God, the Word that was with God and the Word through which everything was created, both the visible and the invisible. He is the image of the invisible God, the reflection of the Father and the glory of God. At this point we are talking about Jesus as He was before He came to earth. This person, the Word, came into the world that was created by Him and to a people to whom He gave light (life), but the people didn't recognize Him (see John 1:9-10).

John 1:9-10:
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
This Word became flesh and took the form of human flesh to live among us.
This word was born of a virgin and came as a man and lived among us (see John 1:14).

John 1:14:
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This word revealed to us the glory of the invisible God. This word is a person and His name is Jesus Christ (see John 1:16-18).

John 1:16-18:
16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.

17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. <=

Change And Confrontation

The change in Jesus' time began with the confrontation of the hearts of the people as it is still happening today. The power of the Holy Spirit is moving according to the command(ment) of God.
The Hebrew word for “commandment” is “peh” and means “mouth” which is linked to blowing and breathing. Jesus also said that the Holy Spirit is moving with the sound of His words to reveal the truth (see John 16:13-15).

John 16:13-15:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

The Transformation And The Greater Glory

The transformation of God's house on earth is linked to the greater glory as the prophet Haggai prophesied (see Haggai 2:9).

Haggai 2:9:
9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

This increasing glory is connected to shaking which must come to reveal that what is unshakable and to bring the blessing of God to surface (see Haggai 2:6-8 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:26-29).

Haggai 2:6-8:
6 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty.

Hebrews 12:26-29:
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”
27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

The Wedding At Cana And The Time Of Job

There is a relation between the time of Job and the time of the wedding at Cana, which means that something good came to an end and has paved the way for something even more beautiful to come.

At the wedding at Cana it was the wine, which had run out and was replaced by Jesus who turned water into best sweet wine by serving (cooping and delivering).

In Job's time, it were his seven sons and three daughters, who understood how to celebrate (Job 1:1-2.4).

Job 1:1-2.4:
1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
2 He had seven sons and three daughters, …
4 His sons used to hold feasts in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.

At this feast season of celebrating birthdays as mentioned his daughters had an important part in the celebration of the day which is equal to the threefold cord as it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12.

Ecclesiastes 4:12:
12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Jesus said that there is increase of His presence if we gather by two or three (see Matthew 18:20).

Matthew 18:20:
“ … 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

The seven sons of Job lived in a cycle of celebration that God had finished after the first feast cycle was completed (see Job 1:4.18-19).

Job 1:4.18-19:
4 His sons used to hold feasts in their homes on their birthdays, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. …
18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, “Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother’s house, 19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!”

The Day Of Visitation

Based on this scripture, we can see that God finished the feast cycle of the week (seven days – seven sons) on the eighth day (in the house of the firstborn son of Job) through a mighty wind which represents the day of visitation. Then a new feast season heralded connected to a time of labor pains for Job.

God has revealed to Job His power and His voice through the storm of “divine questions” in this time of birth pain (letting go an old season and receiving a new season) (see Job 38:1).

Job 38:1:
1 Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: …

These questions were posed by God to show Job His greatness, order and that He was in control of everything.

The Glory Of The House Of The Last Adam

To summarize all of this, it means that God finished one season of His glory that was linked to the “old house” (first Adam), to pave the way for the greater glory of the new spiritual house (last Adam; see 1 Corinthians 15:44-45) which is in turn connected to the newborn seven sons and newborn three daughters of Job, who have now names that are mentioned. Job lost his seven sons and three daughters in the past but he got them back from God in the future.

Therefore, there is no coincidence that the book of Job does not mention the names of the newborn sons but only the three names of his newborn daughters (see Job 42:13-15).

Job 42:13-15:
13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
14 The first daughter he named Jemimah (means dove => spirit filled saints in the Bride of Christ) the second Keziah (means motherly cinnamon and is derived from a Hebrew root word that means to bow down => humility and expression of adoration) and the third Keren-Happuch (means horn of beauty – a horn for make-up => governmental beauty).
15 Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.

The greater glory in the new house directs to the season in which God allows us to enter into His fulfilled creative established plans for us and our lives. The purpose of this greater glory as a result of a challenging process of transformation is to help us enjoy His blessing in our field of authority as well as to administer by obedience like Adam was called by God (see Genesis 2:8.15).

Genesis 2:8.15:
8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. …
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

God is calling us to enter into the eighth day – the new season which means entering into His house of His only begotten son (Jesus – the last Adam) to receive the increase of His wind and fire for this time (see Acts 2:1-4).

Acts 2:1-4:
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (languages) as the Spirit enabled them.

So, we can be very confident that God has already provided what is needed in order to go through this progress of transformation and to go on with greater revelation of Himself by living by faith and not by sight (see 2 Corinthians 5:7).

2 Corinthians 5:7:
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
