In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus Christ spoke of the power of faith in relation to move a mountain (see Mark 11:23).

 

23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. …”

 

Jesus made this statement in relation to the power of faith and prayer.

We would like to use the following word to refer to the shift of a mountain in faith in connection with the transfer of time.

 

 

Since we are approaching the new biblical year of which the beginning can also be compared to the peak of a mountain because each temporal beginning in the biblical-hebrew culture begins with the word ‘rō'š’, which means among other things ‘the tip of a mountain or rock’, I would like to talk about the meaning of the past time and how to place the made experiences correctly in life.

This refers to life experiences that contain good and challenging experiences that are important for our future life with God (see Romans 8:28).

 

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

 

 

Life experiences that are marked by difficult circumstances can lead to a testimony if God intervenes in this regard.

The Word of God makes it clear that we should not forget the good that God has done for us (see Deuteronomy 4:9 i.c.w. Psalm 103:2).

 

9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

 

2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – …

 

The reason for the call to remember the good is because God is the Ancient of Days and longs for us as His people to place the experienced times correctly in His spiritual ‘present presence’ (see Daniel 7:9 i.c.w. Revelation 1:8).

 

9 “As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.

 

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

 

 

From Revelation 1:8 it can be inferred that God IS, was and is to come. It does not mean that God was, is and is to come. Since God is Spirit, this statement means that it is God's desire for us that we do not place the past in the forefront of our lives but that we walk in His spiritual ‘NOW STATUS => I AM’ and from there we discern the times and seasons.

 

For God, the time period of the past, the present and the future is not dead, but completely alive, because as the ‘I AM – YAHWEH’ He fills and surrounds all times.

This means that the walk in Him encompasses the progress in all times in spirit and in truth as well as in His reign in kingship and government authority (see Colossians 3:1-3).

 

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

 

 

The Hebrew word used for ‘sea’ in the Word of God is => ‘jām‘ and also means ‘west’. It indicates the direction of the water because the west is connected to large bodies of water such as the sea or the oceans.

The west is the direction of the setting sun, which is an indication of the end of things, of a day or a period of time. <= (Part of the “Prophet's Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 582)

 

Together with the explanation of the word ‘sea’ it becomes clear that the correct arrangement of time and the victorious closing of the past through Jesus Christ is necessary in our lives. As a result, we receive power from the past as we recall in our present time the interventions of God which He did for us in the past and enclose them with the revelatory truth of the Word of God in our present time for our future.

As a result, we recognize our time measurement of the past as a mountain surrounded by the waters of the sea which is connected with the power of His revelatory word and His blessings so that we enter the new day with God, our Heavenly Father (see Ephesians 5:26-27; Luke 12:54 i.c.w. Isaiah 43:19a; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

 

… 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

 

54 He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does.

 

19a See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? …

 

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

 

According to biblical understanding, saints who are aware of the royalty and priesthood in Christ Jesus are authorized to move ‘mountains’ in different ‘character forms’. They have the power to shift every circumstance by re-positioning it for the service of God in the realm of the revelatory truth.

Looking from the perspective of Jesus' royalty and priesthood, one is empowered to stand before the throne of grace with confidence and steadfastness to receive the new time from the hands of the Heavenly Father (see Hebrews 4:16).

 

16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

 

God wants that the victory of Jesus of the last year accompanies us in the New Year as a testimony like a mountain standing in the sea to encourage us to use His victory in challenging situations so that we are enabled at the end of this time to shift a new mountain into the sea to increase the impact of our testimony.
