The Higher Heavenly Level of God’s Governmental Presence – Part II of II -

Note:
The following message is the second part of a teaching that consists of two parts.
It is recommended to read the message chronologically.

The Characteristic of the Seraphim and the Desert

The characteristic of the seraphim is related to the desert and Jesus Christ on the cross, because the people of Israel encountered the fiery (note: Hebrew ‘śārāṗ’) serpents due to their murmuring in the desert, so that many Israelites died. Moses made based on the instruction of God a lifted bronze serpent on a staff, so that anyone who looked at that lifted serpent after being bitten by a fiery serpent would be saved from death.

This event and the raised serpent were already pointing to Jesus Christ on the cross, who became the curse for mankind, in order to give those who would believe in Him the possibility to receive eternal life (Numbers 21:6-9 i.c.w. John 3,14-17; Galatians 3,13-14).

Numbers 21:6-9:
6 Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.
7 The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”
9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.

John 3:14-17:
14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Galatians 3:13:
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

It was also the wilderness where the forerunner for Jesus Christ, who was the prophet John the Baptist, dwelt and prophesied (cf. Mark 1:3).

Mark 1:3:
… 3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ ”

In this context, the desert represents a place of separation from society, which is similar to a consecrated state, since the word ‘holy’ can also be translated as ‘being set apart’. It was the prophetic anointing of John the Baptist by which people were drawn out of their lives in society into the desert in order to enter into the process of repentance and conversion, and herein become consecrated vessels for God.

The Fiery Furnace and the Lion of Judah

The living ‘furnace of fire’ composed of the seraphim, which Isaiah saw in his vision in the throne room of God, revealed the presence of Jesus Christ as the Crucified. It is the presence that carries within it the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the fear of the LORD. This is especially evident because the Hebrew word for ‘altar hearth – ‘ărî’ēl’ sounds just as phonetically as the Hebrew word for ‘lion’.
It is the lion of the tribe of Judah interwoven in the spirit realm with the slain Lamb of God, as Revelation 5:5-6 explains to us.

Revelation 5:5-6:
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

It is the seraphim who are assisting in bringing our spirit being into the victory realm of the cross of Christ, so that in His holy presence we may have that which has defiled our inner being finally purified (cf. Ephesians 4:23 i.c.w. Isaiah 6:6-7).

Ephesians 4:23:
… 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; …

Isaiah 6:6-7:
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

There is also a deeper meaning behind the number of the seraphim having three pairs of wings that make up the number ‘6’, which is associated with the creation of man because God created man on the sixth day (cf. Genesis 1:27.31).

Genesis 1:27.31:
27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. …
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the sixth day.

The number of the pairs of wings ‘3’ as well as the number of the wings ‘6’ of the seraphim point to Jesus Christ, the Son of Man in His achieved victory over the enemy on the cross of Golgotha (Note: Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day; cf. Luke 9:22).

This also means, in terms of Isaiah’s vision, that Isaiah was in the center of Jesus Christ’s triumph, even though Jesus had not yet been crucified at that time. It is important to be aware that with God, the ‘I AM’, eternity (note: past, present and future) always includes the NOW.

Accordingly, in order to be able to stand in the fatherly-royal rulership of God, it is essential that we go into the living furnace of God, where the great roar of the Lion of Judah is located, who is also the Lamb of God. This sanctifies our spiritual being and activates the prophetic spirit within us, so that we begin to speak sanctified words of God which we receive from Him (cf. Amos 3:8 i.c.w. Psalm 12:6).

Amos 3:8:
8 The lion has roared – who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken – who can but prophesy?

Psalm 12:6:
6 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

Further, by dwelling in the living furnace of fire, we enter into an even more intense relationship with God the Father so that we continue our journey supernaturally as we dwell in His supernatural resurrection presence as the Alpha and the Omega. This is illustrated by the covering of the seraphim’s pairs of wings on their faces and in the covering of their feet, as well as their moving wings (cf. Isaiah 6:2 i.c.w. Revelation 1:8).

Isaiah 6:2:
2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

Revelation 1:8:
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

The Covering and the Throne Chariot of God

Being covered in this context means to be anointed or authorized by God to move in faith in the supernatural realm of the Spirit and to carry out the will of the Heavenly Father on earth without seeking glory for oneself (cf. John 6:38; John 7:18).

John 6:38:
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

John 7:18:
18 Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

It is the living furnace of fire that is composed of the seraphim, and it is the throne chariot of the LORD that is made up of the living creatures or Kerubim (cf. Ezekiel 1:19-22; Ezekiel 10:11-17 i.c.w. Psalm 18:10).

Ezekiel 1:19-22:
19 When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose.
20 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21 When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22 Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal, and awesome.

Ezekiel 10:11-17:
11 As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the cherubim faced; the wheels did not turn about as the cherubim went. The cherubim went in whatever direction the head faced, without turning as they went.
12 Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes, as were their four wheels.
13 I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.”
14 Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 Then the cherubim rose upward. These were the living creatures I had seen by the Kebar River.
16 When the cherubim moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the cherubim spread their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not leave their side.
17 When the cherubim stood still, they also stood still; and when the cherubim rose, they rose with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in them.

Psalm 18:10:
10 He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.

This living furnace of fire and the throne chariot of the LORD clearly shows that everything that exists with God in the spirit realm is alive and full of light, illustrated by the many wings and eyes in the spirit realm where the LORD moves (Ezekiel 1:18; Ezekiel 10:12; Revelation 4:6 i.c.w. Matthew 6:22; James 1:17; 1 John 1:5).

Ezekiel 1:18:
18 Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.

Ezekiel 10:12:
12 Their entire bodies, including their backs, their hands and their wings, were completely full of eyes, as were their four wheels.

Revelation 4:6:
6 Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.

Matthew 6:22:
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.

James 1:17:
17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

1 John 1:5:
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Thus we see that the willingness to be in the living fiery furnace of the LORD, which is related to holiness and purification, is a choice. The holiness to be pursued, as well as the renewing of our mind (note: spirit, soul, understanding) doesn’t happen to us without surrendering to Him with His supernatural identity, the essence of God.

The time has come to acknowledge God’s plan according to His Word in this season of new power and transformation, and to allow Him to change us more deeply in His governmental rule, in order to honorably exercise the authority entrusted as well as assigned to us in life.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
