PROPHETIC CHAMBER
Introduction
 
=> Many times in our wilderness experience, God will begin to show us our promise. We will have an opportunity to mix the word of promise with faith or to choose to enter into fear over the resistant forces that we will have to face in our quest for God to manifest the promise. One of the greatest dangers of our wilderness season is that we may choose not to mount up with a mind to war over our promised inheritance. In the Israelites’ wilderness wanderings, a whole generation was led astray by the leaders, who discouraged the people from entering into war over God’s promise for their lives.
 
When we find ourselves in the wilderness, we always have that same choice. We can trust in God’s faithfulness and be filled with anticipation or we can give in to fear and be filled with anxiety. We have to remember what God has done in the past and choose to believe He will provide again or we can focus on our problem and grumble in unbelief. We can lift up our hands in praise and commit our lives to Him or we can throw up our hands in despair and try to find our own path. The Death Of Nadab And Abihu
 
Sometimes these wilderness seasons carry experiences connected with the loss of a loved one.
We can also find such cases in the Word of God because it is important to our Heavenly Father how we should deal with such circumstances.
 
One situation is the occasion with the death of the two sons of Aaron who entered unprepared into the presence of God and died (see Leviticus 10:1-2).
 
Leviticus 10:1-2:
1 Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command.
2 So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.
 
Someone once said about this event that they with their hearts so strongly desired to be in the very presence of God which led them to forget the protocol established by God so that they died.
This event shook the heart of their father Aaron who was at this time operating in the office of the High priest.
 
Despite this event, Moses encouraged and instructed Aaron not to leave the place of the presence of God. Because he was anointed (called) by God to fulfill his calling an being available for God and the people of Israel (see Leviticus 10:7).
 
Leviticus 10:7:
7 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting or you will die, because the Lord’s anointing oil is on you.” So they did as Moses said.
 
If we face similar painful circumstances in our lives, it is important that we run into the Lord with all of the inner pain in order not to get stuck by the grievous situation!
It is the desire of God, our Father to bring us into a new season and deeper into our promised land!
 
Abraham And The Overcoming Of Trauma
 
Abraham, our forefather of faith understood this principle while his father Terah/Tharah got stuck in trauma.
 
Abraham's leaving Ur (note: means “moon city” => city of darkness) in Chaldea (note: means “manly, warlike” => own strength)
 
While our forefather of faith, Abraham left with some of his family members and with his father Terah/Tharah (note: The name means “laggard” => a person who does not make clear decisions; see James 1:6-8 or in the same pronunciation it also means “to scratch his skin self-destructing/not to forgive oneself, because of the feeling of complicity in the loss or death of one person”, see Leviticus 19:28) during a transitional phase the city of Ur in Chaldea , Abraham got confronted with the trauma of his father (Genesis 11:27-32 i.c.w. Genesis 12:1.4).
 
Genesis 11:27-32:
27 This is the account of Terah’s family line. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran. And Haran became the father of Lot.
28 While his father Terah was still alive, Haran died in Ur of the Chaldeans, in the land of his birth.
29 Abram and Nahor both married. The name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife was Milkah; she was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milkah and Iskah.
30 Now Sarai was childless because she was not able to conceive.
31 Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there.
32 Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Harran.
 
Genesis 12:1.4:
1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. …
4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.
 
The settlement of the father of Abraham, Terah/Tharah in Harran shows that his soul was traumatized by the death of his son Haran, which caused an emotional feeling of pain in him, that blocked him in form of suffering to leave his present circumstance and to go into the land of promise “Canaan” (note: means ”lowland, nether lands”; the root word of “Canaan” is “Cana” and means “to bend the knees” => a sign of humility and surrender to God).
 
The Sting Of Death
 
Death has a sting that causes pain in our hearts and souls.
Therefore, it is necessary that we deal with the pain of loss correctly so that it doesn't prevent us from entering into our good future or abundance which the Heavenly Father has prepared for us in our lives (see 1 Corinthians 15:55-56 i.c.w. Luke 9:62; Philippians 3:13-14).
 
1 Corinthians 15:55-56:
55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
 
Luke 9:62:
62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
 
Philippians 3:13-14:
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
 
Even though Paul speaks of the sting in the form of sin, it cannot be denied that the feeling of pain can also be like a piercing sting in our hearts.
 
The Place Of Death of Terah
 
Based on the place of death of Terah, we can recognize the piercing pain that didn't let him get over the loss of his son Haran (note: “Haran” means “mountainous, path or road”) in his life.
The name of the region “Harran” or “Charan” means “a barren place or dried up by the sun” (note: => represents weary by painful experiences).
 
The Time Of Mourning And The Time Of Joy
 
This doesn't mean, however, that we aren't allowed by God to mourn as human beings.
On the contrary, God gives us enough time to mourn over the loss of people we have loved. This becomes clear, for example when Aaron died on Mount Hor and the people of Israel mourned over him for thirty days (see Numbers 20:29 i.c.w. Numbers 33:38-39).
 
Numbers 20:29:
… 29 and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, all the Israelites mourned for him thirty days.
 
Numbers 33:38-39:
38 At the Lord’s command Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor, where he died on the first day of the fifth month of the fortieth year after the Israelites came out of Egypt.
39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
 
Despite all the loss that we face in our lives at different times, we should make our hearts aware that we must conquer the phase of mourning in order to be able to go forward with joy in life and enter the next time period of the harvest which is a phase of delight (see Psalm 126:5-6).
 
Psalm 126:5-6:
5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
 
God's Assigned Love That Brings Comfort
 
When Isaac lost his mother Sarah, he also had a deep sorrow in his heart, but it didn't controlled him in the manner that he closed himself off from his good future. He rather opened his arms to an even deeper love which God gave him, Rebekah, who helped him to get over the pain of the past, so that he didn't get stuck in suffering (see Genesis 24:67).
 
Genesis 24:67:
67 Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
 
Encouragement
 
I would like to encourage each and every one of you who is going through such challenging phases not to allow yourself to be controlled by the “bitter water” of past pain/trauma in the coming future, but to deal with pain properly by handing it over to Jesus Christ (see Isaiah 53:4) and seeking fellowship with those who have a similar character or vision as yourself so that you continue to move ahead encouraged and strengthened.
 
Isaiah 53:4:
4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
 
Let us fully embrace the middle cross of Golgotha and receive all the power of victory from the Lamb of God, who is Jesus Christ, who got slain for us.

Dear Believer,
 
We are in a season where the Lord is releasing dreams and visions as never before! As a prophet, I am excited that God is speaking clearly concerning our new season through our dreams. Did you realize that every time God gives a dream, it is actually an opportunity to shift into destiny? Yes, every dream is like a door opening into greater revelation. Question is: are we really listening when He speaks to us?
 
This is an updated article concerning hearing God's voice through dreams and visions. I have taken the time to update the article and add new insight, and I truly believe that this is a NOW word, as He continues to pour out His Spirit on all flesh, especially upon our children and the next generation!
 
We Can All Hear God's Voice!
 
Each of us has been equipped by God with the ability to hear His voice. The problem is so many of us don't realize He is speaking to us in our dreams. For many years we have treated our dreams as "junk mail" and tossed them aside without taking time to study and discern the dreams properly. We must begin to take our dreams more seriously.
 
Remember, it was through a dream that the Father spoke to Joseph (the earthly father of Jesus), and gave him specific direction to save Jesus' life! Knowing this, we should never treat our dreams as unimportant, but rather fine-tune our spiritual senses to hear His voice more accurately.
 
Many of my dreams actually equip me for spiritual warfare. By this, I mean that God often speaks to me in a dream concerning situations in the Body of Christ which require prayer for breakthrough. Many times the Lord exposes personal strongholds through dreams. For instance, if someone struggles with a religious spirit, it might be revealed through a dream symbolically, such as dreaming of someone who is so bent toward tradition that he/she resists the present move of His Spirit. Or, if someone struggles with a Jezebel spirit, one might have a dream of someone who is controlling and manipulating.
 
One of the most common dreams I hear from others are dreams that involve seductive scenes. These types of dreams are not always revealing a stronghold of sexual impurity, but rather exposure of a seducing spirit which entices us to "go back." The devil does NOT want us to possess our Promised Land! If he can seduce us into apostasy, convincing us to remain lukewarm, he will steal our destiny!
 
Dreams of Open Doors
 
We are in a fresh season of both "seeing" and "hearing." By this I mean that God is confirming His Word through what we see in dreams and visions. In this season, God is confirming that we are entering a time of "new beginnings." A few months back (right before the Jewish New Year), I heard the Lord specifically say:
 
"My Church is entering into a season of new beginnings. I am bringing forth many suddenlies and Kairos moments. I will catch My children up if they have lagged behind, it will be a catch-up time. They will no longer feel left out or left behind. Regardless of past mistakes, they will not be hindered in their forward progression if they will simply have faith! I will open many doors: doors of breakthrough, doors of finances, doors of opportunity and enlargement. What has been shut will now become opened."
 
Believers, let your faith arise! God is releasing the key of David to us again, so that we can open doors that no man can shut (Rev 3:7). Therefore, there are many Believers who have been having dreams about keys and doors; this is confirmation to the Word of the Lord that many are prophesying right now.
 
Let me ask you a question: are you being accountable to God concerning your dreams? Do you write down your dreams, pray over them, and ask God to reveal the interpretations? So many times God uses His night voice to speak to us. In our dreams, God will give specific direction about which doors to walk through. Yes, the enemy can open doors also, but a dream will reveal if it is one that will benefit or hinder us.
 
God Will By-Pass Our Minds to Speak Truth Through Dreams and Visions!
 
Dreams and visions are part of God's plans of restoration. Since it is our season to see, we must also understand that God opens our spiritual eyes for a reason.
 
Do you recall the tribe of Reuben? Reuben was one of the twelve tribes of Israel that descended from Jacob. Every tribe of Israel had an inheritance of land given to them by God. When Moses selected the twelve spies to scout-out Canaan, there was one leader from each of the twelve tribes who was to cross over into the Promised Land for an exploration. From the tribe of Reuben, a man named Shammua was selected (see Numbers 13:1-5).
 
Reuben was the "seer" and the "discerning tribe." This tribe was anointed by God with the ability to see as God Himself sees. Within their prophetic destiny was the ability to see the victory in the Promised Land. However, Shammua, the leader of the tribe, came back to Moses with a negative report. He was unable to fully "see" the victory and the promise of God concerning their Promised Land. Keep in mind that the name "Shammua" means "devastated and desolate." It is connected to a word that implies being "stooped over" or "bent." Shammua had a "bent toward negativity", even though his spiritual DNA had a bent toward godly destiny!
 
Believers, many of us are spiritually "bent" in our belief systems, especially concerning our potential to possess our future and our destiny. When we get a prophetic word concerning our Promised Land, do we believe God and begin to possess it or do we negate it due to fear or doubt?
 
Many of us are like the 10 spies who returned with a negative report! But God has a way to awaken us! He will by-pass our minds at night and gives us a dream that will shift us, direct us and speak into our potential!
Now, please hear me! Because at times we may not properly hear God's voice, we must be sure to be attentive to our dreams and visions. The Lord has given each of us a promise of breakthrough. This is our season of enlargement and increase. We must be open-minded concerning the various ways that God wants to speak to us – dreams and visions will prove to be a reliable source in this season!
 
God Wants to Reveal the Condition of Our Hearts
 
Do you remember Nebuchadnezzar and how God had to speak truth to him through his dreams? At first, Nebuchadnezzar would not heed the words of correction and direction given from God as Daniel interpreted the dreams. The King recognized Daniel's awesome gift and exhorted him. Daniel corrected the king telling him that it was not his own (Daniel's) wisdom which was able to interpret the dream. But the dream was given and interpreted by Daniel, so that the king would know the thoughts (condition) of his own heart.
 
"But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart." (Daniel 2:30)
 
The very same can occur in our own dreams! God may be attempting to expose hidden motives while we dream. Or maybe, God may be talking to us about our future business ventures, financial breakthroughs and blessings that will soon manifest. Whatever He is speaking, we need to be hearing!
 
Believer, God is always talking. Are you positioned to hear Him? Let's not treat our dreams and visions like junk-mail and toss them to the side. Let's be determined to hear and see His voice!

Jesus Christ, The Supplier Of Salvation And Provision
 
Jesus said that He is the door to bring real safety and provision (see John 10:9)
 
John 10:9:
9 I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
 
The door Jesus spoke about is His sacrificial death on the cross of Golgotha because a door also consists of two sides, the vertical and horizontal line.
 
Staying At The Entrance And The Greater Presence Of God
 
This means that if we position ourselves in the door of Jesus Christ which involves the process of the inner circumcision of the heart, the negative behavioral pattern from the past is separated from us because we have decided to move into the new field of salvation and provision in Jesus Christ (see Galatians 2:20 i.c.w. Philippians 3:13-14).
 
Galatians 2:20:
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
 
Philippians 3:13-14:
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
 
When we position ourselves at the entrance of Jesus Christ, we begin to see the Lord in a greater way, as Abraham and Lot experienced it (see Genesis 18:1-3; Genesis 19:1-3).
 
Genesis 18:1-3:
1 The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
3 He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by.
 
Genesis 19:1-3:
1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.
2 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.” “No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”
3 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.
 
The Three Appearing Angels To Abraham
 
Abraham saw three angels in human form and he recognized them as a higher authority because he called them “Lord!”.
At that point of time Abraham and Sarah were a married couple and they did not have any children, which meant that they were not yet an own family.
 
These three angels can also be seen as God's triune apparition as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bringing incredible promises.
It was the spiritual structure of family in which God encountered Abraham. And it is the strength of family that God sees as a threefold cord (see Ecclesiastes 4:12).
 
Ecclesiastes 4:12:
12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
 
The Family Of God
 
According to Jesus' statement in the spiritual sense, one is part of the family of God when one does the will of the Father in Heaven (see Matthew 12:47-50).
 
Matthew 12:47-50:
47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
 
The Place Where Abraham Stayed
 
When the angels met Abraham, he stayed in the grove of Mamre (means “oiliness, strength, manhood”) and sat in the entrance of his tent.
The stay of Abraham is an indication to us that he moved in the structure of the community of saints (note: a grove consists of many trees) and was flexible to move forward by the Spirit of God, which the tent represents (see Psalm 1:1-3 i.c.w. Hebrews 10:25).
 
Psalm 1:1-3:
1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.
 
Hebrews 10:25:
… 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
 
The Structure Of A Tree And The Son Of God
 
The structure of a tree can also be seen as the structure of the Son of God, because Jesus Christ is the tree of life and is the center of the divine relationship (Genesis 2:9).
 
Genesis 2:9:
9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground - trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
 
And it is no coincidence that Satan was close to the tree of knowledge of good and evil in order to seduce Adam's wife to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil in order to destroy the relationship with God (see Genesis 3:1-5).
 
Genesis 3:1-5:
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ”
4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.
5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
 
In the spirit realm, the sons of God appear in a remarkable greatness so that I personally do not consider it as a coincidence that the blind man, during Jesus' time of healing, saw men as trees walking around (see Mark 8:23-25).
 
Mark 8:23-25:
23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
 
The eyes of the heart of the blind man saw into the spirit realm in order to be able to see the structure of the sons of God.
The people whom the previously blind man saw as wandering trees were Jesus' disciples and the people who came out of the village with Jesus and him.
Leaving the village was a sign that they were no longer in the darkened structure of the past, but that they were ready to go ahead with Jesus Christ as sons of God (see John 1:12).
 
John 1:12:
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children (note: sons) of God – …
 
True Spiritual Discernment An The Required Factor Of Grace
 
True spiritual discernment can only take place where first the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is personally accepted in the heart of men. Without it, discernment destroys!
Love and grace are first needed in order to use discernment to bring deliverance in the life of the relevant person.
 
This is why God said to Adam that he was allowed to eat from all the fruits of the trees in the garden except of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
 
Despite the instruction of God to be allowed to eat from all the trees of the garden except the tree of knowledge, Adam and his wife didn't eat from the fruit of the tree of life (see Genesis 2:16-17 i.c.w. Genesis 3:22.24).
 
Genesis 2:16-17:
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
 
Genesis 3:22.24:
22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” …
24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
 
What was the reason why they did not eat the fruit of the tree of life first, but preferred the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil?
 
I am personally convinced that Adam and his wife didn't eat of the fruit from the tree of life because they were prevented from eating by the serpent in the form of distraction.
But praise be to God who gives to the saints, who walk in His first love and true teachings to eat the fruit from the tree of life (see Revelation 2:7)!
 
Revelation 2:7 (note: message to the saints of the church in Ephesus):
7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
 
In order to be allowed to eat this fruit, it is necessary to pass the gate with the flaming sword and the two Cherubim. Walking through the gate is only possible if one moves in Jesus Christ in true love for the Father and holds fast to his truth (see Genesis 3:24).
 
Genesis 3:24:
24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
 
This gateway is the circumcision of the heart through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross (see Hebrews 4:12-13)!
 
Hebrews 4:12-13:
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
 
The Place Where Lot Stayed
 
Compared to Abraham's place of position, Lot sat at the entrance to the city of Sodom (means “encapsulation, enclosed, blocked up place”). There he met two of the three angels who visited Abraham. Lot didn't consider them as one unit but saw them separated which is illustrated by his statement to them, referring to them as Lords (see Genesis 19:2a).
 
Genesis 19:2a:
2a “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. …
 
While God, the Father remained with Abraham to speak to Abraham about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, the sonship (note: Jesus Christ) and motherhood of God (note: Holy Spirit) went to Lot after Sodom to preserve him and his family (see Genesis 18:16.22 i.c.w. Genesis 19:1).
 
Genesis 18:16.22:
16 When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way. …
22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.
 
Genesis 19:1:
1 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.
 
The city of Sodom represents a society with a cold heart that has no true love (see Matthew 24:12).
 
Matthew 24:12:
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
 
The Two Send Angels To Sodom
 
These two angels can also be seen as Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit in the form of motherhood. God didn't want to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah in the first place, it was normally His plan to save it by His given love and power (see John 3:16 i.c.w. John 16:7.13-15).

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
 
John 16:7.13-15:
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. …
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
 
But the people of Sodom and Gomorrah resisted the given gift of God by desiring it in a perverse way and mocking it (see Genesis 19:4-7.12-13).
 
Genesis 19:4-7.12-13:
4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom – both young and old – surrounded the house.
5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. …
12 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here – sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, 13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”
 
The people of Sodom and Gomorrah could see the angels which meant that they had spiritual discernment, but they used it for their own lust and desire.
As a result, the angels had to beat the inhabitants with blindness before God's judgment hit the cities. This blindness included not only natural blindness, but also spiritual blindness within their hearts so that they couldn't find the entrance of “THE DOOR” (see Genesis 19:10-11).
 
Genesis 19:10-11:
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door.
11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
 
The Warning Of Jesus
 
But Jesus, in His time when He was living on earth, warned that the land of Sodom and Gomorrah will receive a lesser degree of judgment than those who reject the given grace of the Father, that came in flesh and blood and which is Jesus Christ (see Matthew 10:11-15)!
 
Matthew 10:11-15:
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
