As I was praying today, I heard the Lord softly speaking into my mind:
"Have you noticed how things seem to be cooling down? Many of My people are wondering why revival has not yet happened as prophesied, and why the so many times promised, explosive move of My Holy Spirit seems to be delayed for too long. I have allowed it. Do you want to know the reason? Because I want to know what is in the heart of My people."
I said, "Don't you already know it, Lord?"
He answered, "Sometimes, by allowing circumstances on the surface to appear to go the other way and not as expected, the real desires of the heart are exposed. My Spirit has truly moved here and there, but those are 'exploratory' moves to bring to light what the hearts cherish. Before I come and stay, I need to see what is within. The revival that will soon sweep the world is far greater than anything you have ever seen or heard of.
"Many of My called ones did not want Me, they only wanted revival. When revival did not happen as they figured it would--and within their time-frame--they walked away like the fox that could not reach the grapes and concluded, 'well, they were not ripe anyway.'"
Unusual.
I keep hearing this word: unusual. Many times God has spoken to us about His unusual ways. Once again I hear Him saying: "unusual." He says:
"In allowing this short delay, I AM simply bringing to surface the hidden expectations in the heart of My people. Many sins have been exposed; many expectations too worldly to align with a real move of God are being brought to the surface; and world practices and customs--even some disguised forms of the occult that have permeated My Church--are being exposed. I am allowing this exposure because those things that have hindered My Church from moving in full power, those hidden portions of the world within, lose their grip and power when they are exposed."
"Don't you see it? I need to cleanse before manifesting in full power. Before My power manifests to the world outside, my Holy Spirit needs to clean the inside. The move of My Spirit that I am starting is far too powerful to be taken lightly or mingled with a worldly mindset."
"That is the why! That is the because!"
"Those of My people who have become discouraged and are right now thinking that it was just a dream that passed away and have embraced 'reality' have missed the point. There is not a more real reality than My Holy Spirit. Do not expect me to adapt to norms, for I am a unique, unusual God. Do not expect me to move in more predictable, natural ways, for I am a supernatural God. I am the God of miracles, I Am the God of resurrection, I Am the God of breakthroughs!"
"This is not a word of judgment, rather, it is a word of encouragement. Those of you who have found out that your desires were not aligned with Mine, don't go away; come back to Me, that I may give you My Heart."
"There are those among you who feel you have come so low, some of you even isolated, you feel abandoned, things seem upside down, the more you pray the lower you seem to go, you are tired, you do not know what to expect anymore, and you only feel like crying 'How long, oh God!' You cannot go any lower than the bottom, and in the process you have lost so many ideas, and nice plans, and admit it: How many broken dreams do you see behind you? How many 'unexplainables' do you have? Yet you have not gone away to other businesses, for in this so-hard-to-bear process, you have come to realize that I, the Lord, AM your business!"
"Some of you, My pastors, My ministers whom I have appointed have seen their congregations decimated when you started to pray for a move of My Spirit. Some of you, My dear servants, have seen your churches close down, and your ministries that I called you into are referred to as a 'thing of the past.' Your expected victory looks more like a defeat. Do not despair, you are right on track, for you have lost only what would have hindered you more in your path toward revival. You feel like you have nothing left? Look at Me; I Am here, you have Me. What else do you need?"
"The people I will use to bring forth revival, bursting into the surface like a mighty underground river that cannot be contained anymore, are those who have been underground, those who have experienced the three days that precede resurrection. Only those who have gone through the experience of having lost their own will, in submission to the Father's will, can be used of the Holy Spirit."
"Forgotten? Isolated? Frowned upon? Laughed at? Lost strength? As long as you cling to Me, you are still the vessel I AM using to carry revival!"

Beloved people of God,
this word is a revelation of the spirit. The LORD has revealed to me, in regards to the coming change in the Church, that this change will bring together the North and South winds in order to begin.
The Breeze at the Airport
On May 16, 2007, I was at the airport in Tallinn, Estonia, waiting to return to Germany. I had an experience in my spirit that I cannot deny. I was in the toilet at the airport and was drying my hands under the blow dryer. As I was doing this, I felt a breeze behind me, as if someone had just walked past me. There was no one else in the toilet. Afterwards, I felt that the dryer went from warm air to cold air. This process repeated itself several times in a short period of time.
The Breeze in the Upper Room of the Holy Place
On the same day, I was in our house of prayer, "Holy Place" with several other believers. We opened a huge window in which to air out the room. A bit later, a breeze came through that first went straight through the room and then swished around to the right side so that a curtain, a banner, and all the flags in the worship room were moved by this wind. The banner that was the first to be moved had this verse on it:
2.Corinthians 3,17:
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
I knew that the Holy Spirit was making an emphasis on His movement in this time. Throughout this entire time I received the word from Revelation 3,16.
Revelation 3,16:
16 So, because you are lukewarm neither hot nor cold I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
We, the people of God, are in a time in which the Holy Spirit is moving through two different winds. The Holy Spirit is in the North and South wind to make them one. God wants us to be refreshment and fire from Heaven.
This is what the LORD through the prophet John the Baptist said, "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." (Matthew 3,11)
The emphasis for the people of God in that time was on the Holy Spirit and the Fire!
As I received the revelation, I heard this word in my spirit, "I will bring the North and South wind together!"
The Meaning of the North and South Wind
The wind from the North carries the revelations of God, the encouragement and refreshment (see Genesis 3,8a and
1. Corinthians 14,3).
Genesis 3,8a:
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day.
1.Corinthians 14,3:
3 But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.
The wind from the South carries the revelation of the fire of God. (See Job 37:17 and Luke 12:55) This is the revelation of correction and discipline through the Word of God.
Job 37,17:
17 You who swelter in your clothes when the land lies hushed under the south wind, ...
Luke 12,55:
55 And when the south wind blows, you say, 'It's going to be hot,' and it is.
A Place of Change
Through this revelation, the Holy Spirit spoke to me. In this time, He will bring many of His servants to a place of change. Many servants who have been encouragement and refreshment for the Kingdom of God will be discipline and correction. Likewise, many servants who have been discipline and correction until now will become encouragement and refreshment. This is the sign that the LORD has brought the North and South wind together.
The Sword Will Change Into a Plowshare
The Holy Spirit will melt and change the tools of His servants!
Isaiah 2,4a:
4a He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares ...
Plowshares Will Be Changed Into Swords
Joel 3,10:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears.
Let the weakling say, "I am strong!"
The sign of the winds coming together will be supported in the natural through strong weather and light flashes. The Father is allowing the cold and hot fronts to collide!
Thunder! Lightning! Thunder!
The Holy Spirit is drawing up His apostles into the second heaven, so that they forge and submit the working tools of the people of God under the Fire Of the Holy Spirit.
The gift of discernment has a major role. Who will receive a sword or who will receive a spear? Who will receive a plowshare or who will receive a sickle?
The Power of the North Wind
In this word, when I speak of the wind, I am speaking of the working power of the Holy Spirit.
The LORD has revealed to me that He placed in the North wind the power of His resurrection. Everything that is dry, through the North wind will be refreshed and brought back to life!
Genesis 2,7:
7 ... the LORD God formed the man The Hebrew for man (adam) sounds like and may be related to the Hebrew for ground (adamah) it is also the name Adam (see Gen. 2,20). from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
The believers were also together just before Pentecost in the upper room. They were in a dry period in their spirit (after the crucifiction of Jesus) and they were waiting for the North wind (see Acts 2:1-2)!
Acts 2,1-2:
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
These were the same ones who had their life breath blown into them by God Himself, so as to fully change them through the power of the Spirit. (See John 10:10b)
John 10,10b:
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
The Power in the middle of the South Wind
If the North wind comes, shortly following will be the South wind, just as Acts 2:1-3 reads.
Acts 2,1-4:
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
The South wind brings boldness to preach (see Isaiah 6:6-8), just as the flames of fire marked the believers at Pentecost.
Isaiah 6,6-8:
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
The fire of the South wind enables you to open your mouth and declare what the Holy Spirit shows you! For this reason, that is why the bride of Christ is calling these two winds together:
"Stand up North wind, and come, south wind, Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread abroad.
(see Song of Songs 4:16)!"
Both of these winds must come together in order to smell the fragrance of love that comes out of our hearts for Jesus. The Holy Spirit carries the fragrance of love through the North and South winds to our husband!

WILL YOU BECOME A HISTORY MAKER?
A Call to Intercession and Friendship with God
Abraham, spoken of in Scripture as a "friend of God" (see 2 Chronicles 20:7; Is. 41:8; James 2:23), was a powerful intercessor and the first one mentioned in the Bible. He wasn't God's friend because he was an intercessor; he was an intercessor because he was God's friend.
The difference may be subtle, but I assure you it isn't small. He was quite bold in his intercession, by the way, asking God questions like, "Shall not the judge of all the earth do right?"(see Genesis 18:25).
Intimate relationships produce this kind of boldness--not an arrogant irreverence--but a confident boldness that eliminates the fear of rejection or being misunderstood. When I need a favor, I ask a friend or family member, not a stranger.
If it's in that person's power to help me, he or she does. God wants us to be on such intimate terms with Him that it produces bold, confident, and effective intercession.
I desperately desire that you would experience this type of intimacy in your relationship with God.
And the interceding friends of God become history makers.
I have been smitten by this thought: We can either watch history being made, or we can make it. A few years ago on my birthday, a friend gave me a beautiful pen inscribed with the words "History Maker." Will I really become one?
We'll know in 20 or 30 years. But I can assure you of one thing--I'm going to spend my life investing in the process. Being a history maker sometimes results in the sacrifice of our time, money, and comforts in order to respond to the invitations God gives us. A halfhearted reply or no response to our epoch-making opportunity can also be costly. Let's not make that mistake.
Winston Churchill once said, "I'm not afraid of what history will say about me, because I intend to write it."
