The Completion of a Time of the Spirit and the Beginning of a New Time

Based on the scripture from Matthew 25:1-4, the Holy Spirit spoke to me about the completion of a phase of the Spirit and the beginning of a new spiritual time. In that scripture, Jesus mentions ten virgins in connection with the Kingdom of Heaven. Here the ten virgins are divided into two categories of five each, which are ‘wisdom’ and ‘foolishness’.

Matthew 25:1-4:
1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.

In this regard, the Lord said that He is about to activate the oil – the anointing from the vessels of ‘wisdom’, because He has decided to end this ‘one-sided’ walk of the church, which is related to selfishness.

As a result, we as the church are confronted with ‘empty conditions’ in order to focus on the domain of the wisdom of God. When we focus on the domain of God's wisdom and seek it, we are empowered from there to take the oil of the Spirit and ‘transfuse’ it.

Pouring out involves a humble and serving heart, as well as proceeding in the spirit of wisdom and revelation, which helps to enlighten the eyes of our hearts (cf. Ephesians 1:17-18).

Ephesians 1:17-18:
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, …

The Inventory of the Spirit and the ‘Migrational Movement of Peoples’

The Holy Spirit is taking an inventory of the people of God. This involves looking away from oneself and looking at the potential that is currently outside the spiritual being of every believer, in order to let the presence of the Spirit for the future, the favor and legal access merge within the inner being given by God.
In this case, it is revelatory truth bringing us to the place of fellowship and relationship predetermined by God.

A spiritual ‘migration of peoples’ will soon take place. This is the advancement of saints who are led by the Spirit of Wisdom and experience in a new way the anointing of the Holy Spirit in their lives and apply this wisdom in their social environment.

Among other things, this is accompanied by God-intended separation, which leads people to leaving the field of ‘religion’ and entering the field of ‘faith’. It is faith that is connected with firm confidence and prophetic vision (cf. Hebrews 11:1).

Hebrews 11:1:
1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
The pouring of the anointing from the ‘vessel into the lamp’ is rather like ‘throwing’. This throwing is meant to lead to an overthrow of old plans and ideas of believers, just as Jesus Christ brought renewal in the temple when He cleansed it (cf. Matthew 21:12).

Matthew 21:12:
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

The explanation for this is that the Greek word ‘bạllō’ for ‘pour in’ is associated with, among other things, ‘throwing, to pour’. (note: part excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bibel on the Greek word ‘bạllō – pour in’ with the word key number 899)

Moreover, decanting is the equivalent to the filling of the new wineskins with the new wine of which Jesus Christ spoke in Mark 2:22.

Mark 2:22:
22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”

Through this decanting process the house of God is transformed so that it is no longer misrepresented on earth, but gets recognized as the place of the true relationship with the Heavenly Father (cf. Matthew 21:13).

Matthew 21:13:
13 “It is written,” he said to them, “ ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”

The Widow at the Time of the Prophet Elisha

Just as the widow at the time of the prophet Elisha had a jar of oil in her house and on the basis of prophetic instruction, turned her gaze outwards in order to bring new vessels into the house and multiplied the presence of the ‘anointing’, we as God's people are in a time of new orientation and new ways of looking at things in order to intensify our relationship with the Heavenly Father as well as to act from it (cf. 2 Kings 4:2-6 i.c.w. Matthew 6:6).

2 Kings 4:2-6:
2 Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”
3 Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few.
4 Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons (see Matthew 6:6). Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”
5 She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring.
6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

Matthew 6:6:
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

For this reason, we can stand firmly in faith and with gratitude in this challenging time, learning from the Word of God that the Lord identifies with those who seek Him and desire His wisdom (cf. Proverbs 15:32-33; James 1:5-7).

Proverbs 15:32-33:
31 Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise.
32 Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.

James 1:5-7:
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

This wisdom from God is not for ourselves, but enables us as saints in the structure of the body of Christ to carry out our leading responsibility in life and in society on earth.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
