The Higher Realm In Christ

The Apostle Paul prayed in Ephesians 3:15-19 that the Heavenly Father would give saints the power to become strong of the inner man according to the richness of His glory through His Spirit, so that the presence of the anointed One (note: Christ) would dwell in their hearts through faith and that they would be rooted and grounded in love.
 
Paul's goal was with his prayer to see the saints coming to a greater understanding of the divine measure (note: breadth, length, height and depth) as to recognize the love of the anointed One in order to experience the fullness of God.
 
Ephesians 3:15-19:
… 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The Height In Christ

In this context, the Lord emphasized the measure of the height in Christ, so that I was led to the book of Ezekiel 1:18, where the size of the wheels of the four beings of God's throne wagon are described. Their size was so high that the prophet Ezekiel found himself being terrified in his spirit.

18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

The Hebrew word used in this scripture for “high” is “gōbah” and comes from the root word “gābah”, which means among other things “to soar, to gain courage”. (note: partial excerpt from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the words “gōbah-high” and “gābah-to soar, gain courage” with the word key numbers H1386 and H1384.)

From that scripture of Ezekiel 1 and the given explanation, it is clear that God's greatness leads us getting deeper with the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, who causes people to increase in divine wisdom as to walk in accordance to the Spirit (see Psalm 111:10a).

The Walk In The Fear Of The Lord

Whenever a believer walks in the fear of the Lord, this person is led by Him into the higher spiritual realm, which is connected with the face of the Lion of Judah, so that this person can gain more courage before men and thus cannot be affected by the fear of man. It is the fear of man that keeps us low and the fear of God that brings us higher (see Proverbs 29:25).

25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

The Level Of The First Love

The highest level of God is linked to the walk in the first love to God, the Father who is Jesus Christ (see John 3:16).
 
John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Therefore, it is no coincidence that in the book of Revelation, the first church addressed (note: Ephesus) is required to remember from where it or from which level it has fallen (see Revelation 2:4-5a).

4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.
5a Consider how far you have fallen! …

Walking in the first love is connected with the firm, elevated positioning of the Menorah (note: seven-armed candlesticks) in the personal spiritual life. This means to live one's life in the seven fold Spirit of God who gives revelation, knowledge, counsel, insight, … This is revealed by the exhortation of Jesus from Revelation 2:5b-c.

… 5b-c Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

In order to being able to stay in the height of God as to think and act according to His presence, the walk in the love of Christ is unconditionally required, which clearly means to live according to His instruction (see 2 John 1:6).
 
2 John 1:6:
6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

It is the love of Christ Jesus that surpasses all knowledge (see Ephesians 3:19).
 
Ephesians 3:19:
… 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
 
The Height Of God And The Transformation

It is the level of the height of God, which is also connected with the transformation of the inner man. This is clearly mentioned in Matthew 17:1-3.5.
 
Matthew 17:1-3.5:
1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. …
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

It is said that Jesus Christ took three of His disciples (note: Peter, James and John) with Him on a high mountain, where He got transfigured before their eyes. The Greek word for “transfigured” is the word “metamorphọō”, from which the word “metamorphosis” originates. In short explained, a metamorphosis involves the transformation or change of form or substance destined to live.

The transfiguration of Jesus Christ had not taken place on a mere mountain, but on a mountain which is high, pointing to the walk in spirit and truth. That is the reason why Jesus referred to true worship when He met the Samaritan woman at the well and she would speak to Him of the high places (see John 4:20-21.24).

20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”
21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. …
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The true transfiguration or transformation of the inner man (note: spirit and soul) can only happen if someone has chosen Jesus Christ and will be led to the place of the first love of the Heavenly Father by Him. Being at this place has therefore the result of entering into a greater glory of the Lord and seeing Jesus Christ in the facet as the Heavenly Father desires to reveal Him, with the aim of giving direction for the future. This can be often connected with revelation which is according to the will of the Lord permitted to only be made public some time later (see Matthew 17:9).

9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

At the place where it comes to transformation, the glory of the Lord and the presence of Jesus' testimony, which is the Spirit of prophecy, are intensely present (see Revelation 19:10e).

… 10e for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The three disciples who went up to the high mountain with Jesus saw Him in His spiritual nature pointing to the time of triumph over Satan and His (note: Jesus) eternal reigning, which still had to be established on earth by His death, resurrection and ascension. While Peter, James and John saw Jesus in this transfigured state, the presence of God and the prophetic presence represented by Moses and Elijah had intensified. Then, with this prophetic presence, the Heavenly Father instructed the disciples to listen to and to follow Jesus Christ.

The transfiguration of Jesus Christ represents the sign of the needful transformation into the structure of the victorious sonship of God, and means the walk in victory, resurrection power and the government in Jesus Christ (see Romans 8:14; Galatians 3:26).

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children (note: sons) of God through faith, …

Whenever Jesus Christ draws His loved ones higher into the spiritual realm, then a greater prophetic presence gets released which is like an open door of a higher spiritual sphere (see Revelation 4:1-2).

1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

In order to enter the higher spiritual realm in Christ, it is necessary to leave the 'lower' sphere. This can also be connected with the initiation of new relationships with saints.

Moses, Joshua, The Seer John And The Higher Spiritual Realm

It was no coincidence that after Moses and his servant Joshua ate and drank on the sapphire pavement in the presence of God with Aaron, his two sons and the seventy elders were called by God to even go to a higher level in the spiritual realm as mentioned in Exodus 24 (see Exodus 24:9-14a.b).

9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up 10 and saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli (note: sapphire), as bright blue as the sky.
11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.
12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
13 Then Moses set out with Joshua his aide, and Moses went up on the mountain of God.
14a-b He said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we come back to you.

Also the seer John was led by an angel to a higher spiritual realm represented by a great and high mountain from where he was allowed to see the bride or wife of the Lamb of God in her governing structure being positioned in the first love (note: bride => pure, spiritual love relationship with Jesus Christ; see Revelation 21:9-10).

9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

All of this reveals the principle of the mystery of having relationship in the first love and the government coming from it and how this can be more clearly recognized or experienced from the heights of God.

The Mountain Of Tabor

The high mountain on which Jesus was transfigured is called “Tabor”, meaning “broken, quarry”. In the prophetic context, the name of the mountain refers to the state of a broken heart. Such a state of the heart also involves letting go things in order to walk on a higher level with God. Therefore, a willing (note: broken) heart is related to the presence of God (see Psalm 34:18; Psalm 51:17; Psalm 119:71 i.c.w. Luke 22:42b).

18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
 
Psalm 51:17:
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
 
Psalm 119:71:
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn your statutes.
 
Luke 22:42b:
“... 42b yet not my will, but yours be done.”

The Power Of Legislation And The Oracle Of God

In connection with the transfiguration and encounter with Moses and Elijah on the mountain of Tabor another revelatory knowledge can be found referring to the position of the sons of God.

It is the Heavenly Father who draws our attention to the power of His legislation (note: Moses brought the Torah) and to the power of His oracle (note: prophecy => the prophet Elijah) having their center in divine sonship.

The Word of God makes it clear that a threefold cord does not easily break in two (see Ecclesiastes 4:12).

12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
It is important that we, as believers, are aware of the fact that we are commissioned as spiritual beings in Jesus Christ in the eternal order of Melchizedek as kings and priests. As a result, the ministry of the legislator (note: Word of God) and that of the Oracle of God (note: prophet) are standing next to us as spiritual beings in order that we can see and hear the communication of God's plans on the basis of His Word (see 2 Peter 1:19-21).
 
2 Peter 1:19-21:
19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
 
The DNA Helix And The Three Seeds

It is interesting to note that we as human beings have a double DNA helix on earth, but when Jesus Christ is the center of our life, then our spirit being carries a triple 'DNA helix'. As an indispensable presupposition there must be an agreement by the presence of Jesus Christ within our spirit that says: “On earth as it is in heaven!” (see Matthew 6:10)

… 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

There is a difference between the seed of the serpent, the seed of the first Adam and the seed of the last Adam, who is Jesus Christ (see Genesis 3:15 i.c.w. 1 Corinthians 15:45)!

15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
 
1 Corinthians 15:45:
45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
 
The seed of the 'reptile' carries a downward spinning DNA spiral with the sole genetic heritage of doing only evil as resisting the good.

The seed of the first Adam carries a temporary upward spinning DNA spiral, which is linked to temporary life and the free will of good and evil.

The seed of the last Adam carries an eternally upward rotating DNA spiral with the eternal inheritance of the Heavenly Father, who (note: seed of the last Adam) being spirit on earth as well as in heaven follows His Father's legislation, fulfills it and speaks His words (see Matthew 5:17 i.c.w. John 5:19.43a).

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
 
John 5:19.43a:
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. …

This triple-rotating spiritual 'DNA helix' in heaven carries the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit within its structure. It is the Trinity of God testifying to the divine Trinity on earth, who lives inside of us through Jesus Christ, the authority which is given. So, it can be seen on earth and can finally attain the fullness of its state from which it comes up (see 1 John 5:7-8).
