this prophetic word serves as a glimpse into the future and points to the biblical year 5787 | 2027 that lies ahead. We encourage you to pray over this word and to be led by the Holy Spirit as we, as disciples, carry the Father’s plan for the coming year in prayer.

 

On the evening of September 11, 2026, we, as the body of Christ, together with the Jewish people, have entered the new biblical year 5787, also known as the blessing cycle or ‘civil year.’

 

For us as disciples in Christ, who have been grafted as wild olive shoots into the precious olive tree, it is vital to acknowledge this, because we participate in the fatness of the root, in the anointing contained therein (cf. Romans 11:17-18).

 

17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

 

 

According to Zechariah 2:8b, Israel is the apple of God’s eye with Jerusalem functioning as His pupil, so for us as Christians from the gentile nations it wise to look at our lives and environment through Israel. For us, this will result in walking confidently and with enlightened eyes into our future with Jesus Christ.

 

… 8b for whoever touches you (Note: Israel) touches the apple of his eye.

 

The revelations we receive by this approach contain strategies helping us to position our lives in the center of the will and peace of God, just as Epaphras prayed (cf. Colossians 4:12).

 

12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.

 

As God’s people we are currently in the biblical cycle of the decade of the ‘eighties’ linked to the Hebrew letter ‘Pe’ which, amongst others, means ‘mouth’. This is the decade connected to the verbal ‘expression of knowledge’, bringing forth that which was spoken through words. It also brings forth manifestations of the spoken words for the years to come within this biblical decade and lays foundations for times to come (cf. Habakkuk 2:14 i.c.w. Proverbs 18:21).

 

14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

 

21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

 

According to Isaiah 55:10-11, every word that comes from God’s mouth manifests itself on earth.

 

10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

 

 

The biblical year 5787 is associated with the Hebrew letter ‘Zayin’, which has the numerical value ‘7’, is linked to a ‘crowned sword’, and pictographically represents a ‘scale’. Furthermore, Zayin’ is derived from a root word meaning ‘nourishment, livelihood’, or ‘food’. The number ‘7’ in a biblical context also means ‘perfection, completion, divine rest in the form of the Sabbath, and wisdom’ (cf. Genesis 2:2-3; Proverbs 9:1).

 

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

 

1 Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars.

 

The numerical value of the name of the letter ‘Zayin’ is ‘67’ (Zayin-7, Yod-10, Nun-50) and corresponds to the value of the Hebrew word ‘bînāh’, which means ‘insight, understanding.’ (Note: explanation of the word taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible regarding the Hebrew word ‘bînāh—insight’ with the word key number: 1025)

 

The Hebrew word formed from the letter ‘Pe’ and the letter ‘Zayin’ is ‘pās’ and means ‘gold, fine gold, pure gold.’ (Note: word definition taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible regarding the Hebrew word ‘pās—fine gold’, with the word key number: 6469)

 

In a prophetic context, ‘fine gold’ can be understood, among other things, as ‘the glory of God’ and ‘the riches of faith.’ It is faith that comes from fellowship with the Word of God — that is, from hearing the Word of God (cf. Romans 10:17 i.c.w. Revelation 3:18a).

 

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

 

18a I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so that you can become rich; …

 

It is the structure of the bride, or the wife of the Lamb, in the form of the descending spiritual principality as a city from heaven, made of pure gold like glass, from which the glory of God shines forth (cf. Revelation 21:18.21.23).

 

18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. …

21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass. …

23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

 

 

One of the believers in our ministry community received a vision in which she saw a golden staircase spiraling upward, which coincided with the beginning of a new cycle of time.

 

A sapphire-blue carpet studded with stars lay on the staircase, while seashells fell down the stairs from above. Each seashell contained a radiant pearl. The light from the pearls revealed a vast expanse where a tunnel became visible; within it, a believer was riding on a moving train and was being transported to the next realm.

 

Once there, the person stood before God the Father, who appeared in all His majesty, so that the person could see only the hem of His robe. Then the Father lifted the person up with His right arm and wove them into His robe. A tinkling sound could be heard from beneath the robe, followed by silence. After this, God’s breath could be heard, and it became clear that everything in that place began to move through His breath.

 

God’s greatness became apparent in the form of swimming whales that led to a river, where houses, other buildings, and walls were located.

 

Then a large green tree, full of fruit and light, became visible. From the light appeared a robe, moved by the wind. Within the robe, a door of light formed, before which stood a bride. The bride was drawn into the light, while gemstones fell from the door.

 

 

It may indicate that God wants to draw us —as sons and the bride of Christ— into a new spiritual realm within His cycles of time, which influence temporary, earthly time from eternity. As God’s people, new, elevated pathways await us in the form of gateways through which we must pass by bringing closure to the past, so that we may stand in the greater and higher glory of the LORD.

 

In doing so, we must observe the boundaries set for us by God in Christ Jesus, for it is only through them that our mission and the quality inherent in it become apparent. In addition, the focus is on the priestly movement, which is linked to a close relationship with the Father, as we live in the world but are not of this world, through the practice of prayer (cf. John 15:19; John 17:15-16; Ephesians 6:18).

 

19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

 

15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

 

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

 

We are called to walk in the Spirit of God and to allow ourselves to be led into the great things the LORD has in store for this time and the time to come (cf. Genesis 2:7 i.c.w. John 3:8; John 20:22).

 

7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

 

‘… 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’

 

22 And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. …’

 

This may involve a shift in mission to a new place of calling, so that we may open our mouths and speak to people with the wisdom of God. Closeness to the Holy Spirit gives rise to relationships, ministries, and values (Note: houses, buildings, walls) that are in harmony with the Word of God, leading to a deepening of the believers’ identity in Christ within the tribes of Israel and the apostles of the Lamb — which encompasses the one new man in Christ (Note: gemstones; cf. Exodus 28:15-21 i.c.w. Revelation 21:14.19-20; Ephesians 2:13-16).

 

15 ‘Fashion a breastpiece for making decisions – the work of skilled hands. Make it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.

16 It is to be square – a span long and a span wide – and folded double.

17 Then mount four rows of precious stones on it. The first row shall be carnelian, chrysolite and beryl; 18 the second row shall be turquoise, lapis lazuli and emerald; 19 the third row shall be jacinth, agate and amethyst; 20 the fourth row shall be topaz, onyx and jasper. Mount them in gold filigree settings.

21 There are to be twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.

 

14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. …

19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

 

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

 

In conclusion, in light of the vision described and its meaning, this may be a process of spiritual maturity in which we, as saints in Christ, are called to enter into a deeper understanding of the priesthood in our Lord Jesus Christ:

 

• within its established boundaries,
• into the new season prepared by God,
• into a deeper intimacy with the Father,
• into the great things prepared by God,
• into new relationships with saints,
• and to walk in them, as well as to speak the words of wisdom that the LORD inspires.

In this process, it will be necessary for us, in faith, to speak the words of the LORD with a pure heart, so that others may enter into a new dimension of faith or come into contact with it (cf. Psalm 12:6 i.c.w. Revelation 3:18a).

 

6 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

 

18a I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so that you can become rich; …

 

It is the wisdom and insight or understanding of God that cause our words to resound publicly before people, so that we may enter a new dimension of His Word and the faith that flows from it (cf. Hebrews 4:12-13 i.c.w. Proverbs 8:1-3.19).

 

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

 

1 Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?

2 At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3 beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: …

19 My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver.

 

 

Therefore, it is necessary for us as disciples that we listen to the admonition of God’s wisdom, which comes from above, so that we may come under the influence of its outpouring (cf. Proverbs 1:23 i.c.w. James 3:17).

 

23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.

 

17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

 

Only God’s wisdom enables us to understand the times in accordance with God’s eternal plan from a higher spiritual perspective. Wisdom from above transcends mere rational thought and pure knowledge by addressing the heart and embracing it in its truth. As already mentioned, it is said that the wisdom of God has built its realm of relationship and fellowship in the form of a house in the presence of the crowned Word, represented by seven carved pillars.

 

It is the wisdom of God that aligns the truth of the Word within us with the correct understanding, in accordance with the will of the Heavenly Father. The Word of God is pure in its origin, yet it brings about a process of purification within us that helps us to recognize the truth more and more correctly. This process of sanctification enables us to live in the glorious freedom of the sons of God as those who have been redeemed — for which Christ suffered (cf. Psalm 12:6 i.c.w. John 8:31-32; Romans 8:21).

 

6 And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

 

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’

 

… 21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children [Note: sons] of God.

 

The carved state of the columns can resemble that of an artfully crafted woodcarving, in which a specific pattern is added to each column. As a result, the structural quality of the columns is elevated to a more refined state and thus to a higher level than before.

 

If we give divine wisdom more room in our lives than before, we are called to set aside our acquired knowledge so that the truth brought forth by God’s wisdom may increase within us (cf. John 3:30).

 

‘… 30 He must become greater; I must become less.’

 

It is this communion with the wisdom from above that is connected to the solid food and is founded on the sacrifice of Christ — the crucified, risen, and eternally reigning King. Her sacrifice is linked to the realm of mature saints who have trained spiritual senses and can distinguish between good and evil. For they are sheep who hear His voice and follow Jesus Christ as their Shepherd (cf. Proverbs 9:1-3; John 10:27 i.c.w. Hebrews 5:14).

 

1 Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars.

2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table.

3 She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city, …

 

27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

 

14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

 

It is the wisdom from above that brings forth a new dynamic of revelatory truth, which is linked to the love feast of the Lamb of God at the table in the form of His flesh and blood, revealed in the visible realm as bread and wine. It is about our identification with Jesus Christ as the only way to redeem us and not desiring any righteousness apart from Him (cf. John 6:51-56).

 

51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live for ever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.’

52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’

53 Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

 

 

Furthermore, the number ‘7’ is first mentioned in Genesis 2:2-4 in connection with the Sabbath, the day of God’s rest, when God set aside time for His creatures and first allowed humanity to enter into the presence of His rest, so that they might catch their breath.

 

2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

 

We are therefore encouraged to bring projects to completion or to a good finish to enter a new quality of rest. The Hebrew word for ‘rest—nûaḥ’—in the sense of ‘to settle’, is also associated with the movement of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, which descended upon the ‘sonship of God’ and settled upon Jesus Christ (cf. Luke 3:22 i.c.w. John 1:32).

 

… 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.’

 

32 Then John gave this testimony: ‘I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. …’

 

Thus, the peace of God is connected to the divine Father-Son relationship, from which we as believers draw strength to continue expanding His kingdom. This strength comes through the presence of the Holy Spirit, as described in Isaiah 11:2.

 

2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest [Note:  Hebrew nûaḥ] on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord – …

 

The example of Jesus’ baptism reveals and underscores the importance of the Spirit resting upon us. This is what enables us to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit to carry out the next projects on the Lord’s behalf.

 

The biblical year 5787 holds the potential for growth in the sonship of God as well as in the identity and authority of Jesus Christ. During this time, His Word may involve a transition from one facet of God’s fatherhood to another facet of God’s sonship, or it may be revealed to us through another person.

 

The Sabbath —or the time of rest— symbolizes a person’s encounter with their Heavenly Father, during which they receive a measure of teaching and the Spirit to carry forward the Heavenly Father’s purpose and establish it on a higher level than before in the natural realm.

 

From this perfection, represented by the number ‘7’, we are called to lead the way in a lifestyle of worship and to walk in reverence on a higher level of understanding.

 

 

This transformation involves offering ourselves as a living, holy, and acceptable sacrifice to God (cf. Romans 12:1).

 

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.

 

A life of worship involves more than just singing hymns or playing an instrument to honor God at a specific time each week or month; rather, it is rooted in our daily lives lived in righteousness and justice in Christ Jesus. Expressing gratitude to the LORD and finding joy in Him are of particular importance in this context (cf. Psalm 100:4 i.c.w. Amos 5:23-24; Nehemiah 8:10b).

 

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

 

23 Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.

24 But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!

 

‘… 10b Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’

 

 

The Herrnhut’ annual scripture for the Gregorian calendar year 2027 is from Isaiah 41:10a which reads:

 

 

Based on the Bible passage just mentioned, it becomes clear to us that we are called to walk with God, who is Spirit, and to live in His love. As a result, we fearlessly do the works that God, our Heavenly Father, commands us to do in this age and in the age to come (cf. John 4:24a; 1 John 4:18a i.c.w. John 5:19).

18a There is no fear in love. …

 

19 Jesus gave them this answer: ‘Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

 

May this biblical year 5787 be a year of spiritual fine gold, marked by our sincerity in being transformed by the revelatory truth of God’s Word and by a fearlessness that stems from living in God’s love and from His peace — a fearlessness that is genuine.
