This prophetic word serves as a fragment and points to the biblical year 5786/2026 that lies ahead of us. Be encouraged to pray over this word and move in your spirit, as well as proclaim the Father’s plan for the coming year.
On the evening of September 22, 2025, we, as the body of Christ, together with the Jewish people, have entered the new biblical year 5786, also known as the blessing cycle or ‘civil year.’
For us, who have been grafted as wild olive shoots into the precious olive tree, it is vital to acknowledge this, because we participate in the fatness of the root, in the anointing contained therein (cf. Romans 11:17-18).
Romans 11:17-18:
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
The Apple of God’s Eye
According to Zechariah 2:8b, Israel is the apple of God’s eye with Jerusalem functioning as His pupil, so for us as Christians from the gentile nations it wise to look at our lives and environment through Israel. For us, this will result in walking confidently and with enlightened eyes into our future with Jesus Christ.
Zechariah 2:8b:
… 8b for whoever touches you (Note: Israel) touches the apple of his eye.
The revelations we receive by this approach contain strategies helping us to position our lives in the center of the will and peace of God, just as Epaphras prayed (cf. Colossians 4:12).
Colossians 4:12:
12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.
The Decade ‘Pe’ and the Expression of Knowledge
As God’s people we are currently in the biblical cycle of the decade of the ‘eighties’ linked to the Hebrew letter ‘Pe’ which, amongst others, means ‘mouth’. This is the decade connected to the verbal ‘expression of knowledge’, bringing forth that which was spoken through words.
It also brings forth manifestations of the spoken words for the years to come within this biblical decade and lays foundations for times to come (cf. Habakkuk 2:14 i.c.w. Proverbs 18:21).
Habakkuk 2:14:
14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Proverbs 18:21:
21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
The Hebrew Letter ‘Vav’ and Teamwork
The biblical year 5786 is linked to the Hebrew letter ‘Vav’, which also has the numerical value ‘6’ and is associated with a ‘nail, hook, tent peg’. This letter is also used as an ‘and’ word and is therefore a connecting point that joins two sides together, like a hook that connects two train wagons.
In this biblical year, we can expect the Holy Spirit to emphasize the importance of teamwork. This is about working together with saints who have the same focus to advance the Kingdom of God. It is the shared focus that strengthens our concentration, improves our common vision and produces the necessary strength to contribute to the goal in the form of the fulfillment of God’s commission. The emphasis here is on the presence of the Trinity of God, which serves as the center and connector in the form of the Fatherhood, Sonship and Motherhood amid the teamwork of the saints.
Teamwork has its origin in the divine ‘solitude’, in which the potential of ‘togetherness’ is based, which brings about ‘teamwork’ through the intervention of God’s hand. The divine ‘solitude’ in the form of God-given diversity is transformed by the power of God’s assignment into the measure of heavenly ‘togetherness’, which is illustrated by the numbers ‘6’ (Note: six apostolic teams). Divine ‘solitude’ in the form of diversity as each person is unique is transformed into the measure of heavenly ‘togetherness’ through the power of God’s commissioning, which is revealed by the number ‘6’ in the form of the apostolic teams appointed by Jesus (Note: 6 x 2 disciples; cf. Mark 6:7).
Mark 6:7
7 Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
It is the arrangement of ‘solitude’ that means the movement of the one new man in the righteousness of God (cf. Ephesians 2:15).
Ephesians 2:15 (New Jewish Testament):
… 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups (Note: Jews and Gentiles) a single new humanity and thus make shalom, …
This is a paradox, for now two are united in one, just as the woman was hidden in the nature of the first man. Only through Christ Jesus can togetherness become true oneness that complements us in a divine way (cf. Ephesians 5:31-32).
Ephesians 5:31-32:
31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
32 This is a profound mystery – but I am talking about Christ and the church.
Adam was created by God as a human being on the sixth day and in him already laid the potential of ‘teamwork’, which was later demonstrated by God’s intervention in the form of the holy separation of the woman as help from Adam (cf. Genesis 1:26a.31 i.c.w. Genesis 2:7.20-23).
Genesis 1:26a.31:
26a Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, …’
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the sixth day.
Genesis 2:7.20-23:
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. …
20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. But for Adam no suitable helper was found.
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.
22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called “woman”, for she was taken out of man.’
This reveals to us that teamwork is based on the strength of true relationship with one another, without living a means to an end principle, but in the love of God and mutual recognition of God’s allotted gifts and anointings to establish the Heavenly Father’s plan on earth (cf. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11).
1 Corinthians 12:7-11:
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
In this perfect, divine complement in the form of ‘teamwork’ in the Kingdom of God, the bigger picture of the mystery between Christ and His ecclesia – church before the visible and invisible world becomes clear (cf. Ephesians 5:30-32 i.c.w. John 13:34-35).
Ephesians 5:30-32:
… 30 for we are members of his body.
31 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’
32 This is a profound mystery – but I am talking about Christ and the church.
John 13:34-35:
34 ‘A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.’
The Hand of God and the Zipper
We can see that the hand of God comes upon us as His people, pulling both sides of the garment together like a zipper that is pulled upwards. This results in a perfect matching between the sides in the love of Christ, so that the highs and lows of the Lord are joined together. This complement is not based on earthly origin, but on spiritual origin and contributes to the manifestation of Christ, the Anointed One and source of anointing (cf. Galatians 3:27-29).
Galatians 3:27-29:
… 27 for all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
In the original structure of man, the helpmate was taken by God from Adam’s ‘side/rib’, which is translated in Hebrew with the word ‘ȥēla`’ and means ‘board, rib’. It also refers to ‘a mountainside, the longer side of the Ark of the Covenant and the Tent of Meeting; the side of the altar or side (floors) at the Temple, boards, beams, girder.’ The separation of the woman as helper from Adam’s body had the consequence that he recognized her bones (Note: also meaning sensations) and her flesh (Note: also meaning a human heart turned towards God; cf. Ezekiel 11:19; Ezekiel 36:26= in the sense of a heart of flesh; the Hebrew word for ‘flesh’ is ‘bāsār’ and means, among other things, ‘to bring good news, to proclaim and also to bring neutral or good news’).
In the spiritual context of this message, the structure of Adam can be seen as the realm equivalent to the saints in leadership and God given responsibility, with the helper representing the saints who willingly submit to God’s instruction and plan in humility and love. With this understanding of the statement ‘taken from the side’, we can see that the saints who have submitted to their leaders in love, humility and willingness contribute to a spiritual dynamic that arises from ‘teamwork’ and becomes the string of a bow from which God shoots His arrows of revelation in the future.
The Spiritual Realm of the Helper
The saints assigned to the assistant’s area of responsibility have the potential of a bearing width (cf. Ephesians 3:18-19), having an understanding of God’s greatness (Note: mountainside), the being of Jesus (Note: the longer side of the Ark of the Covenant), His presence (Note: the longer side of the tent of meeting) and also His heart (Note: the altar). This width/length also carries the knowledge of the priestly movement of Jesus, that is moving from east to west, just as the priest in the Word of God went from east to west to the Holy of Holies, which is furthermore related to the power of revelation and the coming of Jesus (cf. Matthew 24:27).
Matthew 24:27:
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
This explanation shows that the God-initiated principle of ‘teamwork’ includes a divine complement that carries the common spiritual focus, as the promise was woven into Adam by God’s hand from the ‘ground’ out of which his assistant as the woman emerged (cf. Genesis 2:6-7.21-22).
Genesis 2:6-7.21-22:
… 6 but streams [Note: mist] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.
7 Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. …
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.
22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
Since Jesus Christ is the last Adam, we are encouraged as saints of the ecclesia to submit to Him in the proper understanding of authority with humility and love in the respect God requires of us toward one another (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:45 i.c.w. Philippians 2:3-4).
1 Corinthians 15:45:
45 So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. …’
Philippians 2:3-4:
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
In our view, our focus is necessary for the right complementation to occur within the ecclesia so that the glory of God is recognized. This is like a crown, as Proverbs 12:4a describes.
Proverbs 12:4a:
4a A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, …
This, in turn, means that there is an intensification of the glory of God when the saints who are in leadership responsibility go forward diligently with the saints who are entrusted to them in loving honor and right spiritual agreement with one another for the cause of the kingdom. This involves a renewed way of thinking in order to live according to the Word of God.
The Glory Train
Let us allow the Holy Spirit to contribute to the expansion of the glory train this year by joining us together through the dynamics of ‘teamwork’ and thus following our trailblazer Jesus Christ who goes before us (cf. Micah 2:13 i.c.w. Isaiah 52:12).
Micah 2:13:
‘… 13 The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.’
Isaiah 52:12:
12 But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
It is the LORD who, with the light of His countenance in the form of the Fatherhood, Sonship and Motherhood and the revelatory truth contained therein, illuminates the path of His people and at the same time concludes it. This means that we as ecclesia are enveloped by God as the source of eternal life (cf. Numbers 6:25; Psalm 31:16; Psalm 80:4 i.c.w. Psalm 36:10).
Number 6:25:
… 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; …
Psalm 31:16:
12 But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
Psalm 80:3:
3 Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
Psalm 36:10:
9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.
Annual Scripture for the Gregorian year 2026
The Herrnhut’ annual scripture for the Gregorian calendar year 2026 is from Revelation 21:5a which reads:
“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’”
The biblical passage just mentioned reveals to us that the plan for the new has its origin in the eternal government of God. This goes hand in hand with the anointed structure of the bride and wife of the Lamb in the form of the heavenly and eternal city of Jerusalem, which has as its ‘team partner’ Jesus Christ as bridegroom and husband. This structure is based on intimacy with Jesus Christ as the bridegroom in the walk in our first love and the continuous true relationship with Him, as the city is referred to as the bride and wife of the Lamb (cf. Revelation 21:2.9-10).
Revelation 21:2.9-10:
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. …
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, ‘Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.’
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
The Messianic Bride and the Governing City Complex
Seen in a prophetic or spiritual context, the Messianic bride of Christ is a governing city complex that shines in the glorious light of God in heaven above the earth and brings the weight of heaven to earth, which includes, among other things, the words and plans of God for this time.
What is this new thing announced in Revelation 21:5a about in our time?
We can see that, among other things, it is about the realization of the ecclesia in the form of the heavenly or messianic Jerusalem, in which we are granted access in Christ in twelve different characters resulting from the assigned angels of the 12 tribes of Israel, which are assigned to the four winds in an alliance of three units each (cf. John 10:9 i.c.w. Revelation 21:10-13.21a).
John 10:9:
9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
Revelation 21:10-13.21a:
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. …
21a The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. …
This area of access through the pearl gates of the city includes access into the kingdom of heaven, since this itself is like a pearl (cf. Matthew 13:44-46).
Matthew 13:44-46:
44 ‘The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45 ‘Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.
46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.
This spiritual focus on Jerusalem implies an increase in apostolic governmental understanding as well as the close love relationship with Christ Jesus as bridegroom and husband (cf.
Moreover, the Heavenly Father in the form of the Almighty and the Lamb of God as the temple dwell in the city (cf. Revelation 21:22).
Revelation 21:22:
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
The Right Spiritual Focus and Elevation
This means having the right spiritual focus brings an elevation to a higher spiritual level, which includes a so-called going away to be in another higher place, as described in Luke 9:51.
Luke 9:51:
51 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.
Going higher with the right focus can result in people rejecting us, as Jesus experienced with His disciples as they passed through Samaria while Jesus had His eyes fixed on Jerusalem. This should not intimidate us, but in this context, it is necessary to pay attention that we do not connect the presence of God’s grace with our own or selfish will (Note: what we think is right), but with His plan of redemption as God’s will. This helps to ensure that we are not too hasty to pronounce judgment, but sovereignly continue our journey focused with Christ (cf. Luke 9:52-56).
Luke 9:52-56:
52 And he (Note: Jesus Christ => salvation) sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; 53 but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem.
54 When the disciples James (Note: self-will according to one’s own imagination) and John (Note: grace of God) saw this, they asked, ‘Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?’
55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them.
56 Then he and his disciples went to another village.
52 And he (Note: Jesus Christ => salvation) sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; 53 but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem.

Whenever we go forward with the right spiritual focus, it means to be aware of the presence of God’s grace in order to combine it with the necessary truth of God’s Word, like what happened at the time after the evangelizing of Samaria by Philip. This evangelizing resulted in the apostolic team of truth (Note: Peter) and grace (Note: John) being sent out from the center of Jerusalem to confront the sorcery still present in Samaria practiced by a man named Simon.
Simon the sorcerer manipulated the people with his ‘gift’ by performing signs and wonders. His intent was only to be recognized by the people, which is why he was driven by drawing the focus of people and society away from Jesus Christ to focus it only on Him and His ministry. Furthermore, he cooperated with the power of the root of all evil, namely mammon as the love of money. This is revealed by the statement of Simon the sorcerer, who wanted to purchase the power of the Holy Spirit from the two apostles Peter and John, in order to be able to exert even more influence with the people and manipulate them as well as keep them from the truth (cf. Acts 8:5.9-11.14.18-23 i.c.w. 1 Timothy 6:10).
Acts 8:5.9-11.14.18-23:
5 Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. …
9 Now for some time a man named Simon had practised sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, 10 and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, ‘This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.’
11 They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. …

14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. ...
18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money
19 and said, ‘Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.’
20 Peter answered: ‘May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!
21 You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.
22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.
23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.’

1 Timothy 6:10:
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
With the help of the mentioned events from Luke 9:51ff. and Acts 8:4ff. it shows to us also that the city of Jerusalem carries a special meaning. One time it was about the movement in Samaria with the focus on Jerusalem and the other time it was about the movement from Jerusalem to Samaria. We can see that the movement of the ‘body of Christ’ with the focus to Jerusalem entails the sparing from judgment, whereas the apostolic movement from Jerusalem entails a righteous judgment for those who have a corrupt heart attitude.
The Eternal City of Jerusalem, the Foundation of Peace
Based on the biblical passage from Revelation 21:2, we can see that the bride of Christ is described in her beauty and is also a reference to a principality given by God, named ‘Jerusalem’, which means ‘establishment of peace’.
It is therefore required that we as God’s people better understand what the anointing of the Bride of Christ involves. Here, the explanation of the Hebrew term ‘shalom’ will help. It means ‘completeness, wholeness, health, peace, prosperity, protection, reliability, silence, success, perfection, fullness, calm, harmony as well as the absence of haste and disunity.’
Since the dark prince Satan or the adversary of God cooperates from the air and the spiritual battle also takes place there, it is necessary that we move forward in the unified structure of the Bride of Christ to take effective action against the darkness (cf. Ephesians 2:2 i.c.w. Ephesians 6:12).
Ephesians 2:2:
… 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
Ephesians 6:12:
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
As Bride of the Lamb we need to implement God’s plans from heaven through our spiritual works such as prayer, prophecy, preaching, and so on and also visible works such as acts of righteousness, compassion, etc. on earth by correctly applying the ‘Shalom’ of our Prince of Peace, Jesus, and passing it on to the people by means of the abilities we received from Him.
The unified structure of the Bride of the Lamb contains the message of the Old Testament, the Tanakh and New Testament, in which Jesus is hidden on one side and clearly visible on the other. It is the structure made up of Jewish and Gentile believers, with the focus on the pearl gates and the precious stones of the wall of the Messianic Jerusalem.
The tribes of Israel were represented in the Tanakh in the form of precious stones on the breastplate of the high priest (cf. Exodus 28:15-21) and become pearl gates in the New Testament, each of which brings with it a high spiritual angelic movement that is released when people walk through the gates in faith on the basis of the message through the Bride of the Lamb, which do not differ from one another in substance, as they are pearls and thus point to Jesus Christ, the only true door, who provides great provision for spirit, soul and body to those who believe in Him.
In order to walk in this governmental structure of the Bride or Wife of the Lamb, it is important that we enter into the freedom of the Spirit, which carries within it a healthy order and is related to submission (cf. 1 Corinthians 14:33a; 2 Corinthians 3:17 i.c.w. Matthew 23:11; 1 Peter 5:6).
1 Corinthians 14:33a:
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace – …
2 Corinthians 3:17:
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Matthew 23:11:
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.
1 Peter 5:6:
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
The freedom of the Spirit associated with the order of God is based on the proper cooperation and right spiritual understanding of authority among the saints within the people of God so that there can be effective spiritual equipping by the ministers of the five-fold ministry in the ecclesia. This equipping involves Jesus Christ being revealed as the Bridegroom and King of kings, who leads His people as the ‘last Adam’ into the identity of the ‘last Eve’ and secures them in it (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:45).
1 Corinthians 15:45:
45 So it is written: ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
The new biblical year 5786 is a strategically important year for the continuing movement of God, which, through unity in the joy of truth and love for the one true God, has a great influence in leading people to an encounter with Christ. A new cycle that requires our devotion to the only truth of God’s Word in order to walk together in God’s higher ways (cf. Isaiah 55:6-9).
Isaiah 55:6-9:
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
8 ‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord.
9 ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Amen and Amen.
