The Shift Within the Phase of Change

As God’s people, we are in a phase of time in which the LORD is increasing His revelatory prophetic light, which carries righteousness, to contribute to regeneration among His people (cf. Malachi 4:2).

Malachi 4:2:
2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

The LORD is already shining His revelatory light into society through various wineskins in the form of ‘prophetic journalism’ councils. The effect of this light, which is paired with the words of revelatory truth and based on the standard of God’s Word, leads to an increase in healing within society. When people speak out for justice and are listened to, it creates an opportunity to contribute to genuine peace by acknowledging the truth and not distorting it.

The Media Shift in the Phase of Change

As God’s people, we are amid a media shift in the phase of change, in which it is important that we allow ourselves to be drawn by the Spirit of God to a higher level of revelation and the associated higher responsibility that comes with greater authority.

This higher spiritual level relates to the first love for God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the prioritizing of the kingdom of God (cf. Luke 12:31 i.c.w. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

Luke 12:31:
31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7:
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

In short, the kingdom of God is the divine system in which we, as saints, are active in the temporary time on earth while we dwell in the kingdom of Heaven, which encompasses our spiritual residence in Christ Jesus (cf. Colossians 3:1-2).

Colossians 3:1-2:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

It should be our endeavor and desire to remain steadfast fervor in the spirit in the high place of first love.

This steadfastness points to uncompromising discipleship in Christ Jesus, who is the Father’s first love for us humans (cf. John 3:16 i.c.w. Revelation 2:4-5).

John 3:16:
16 For God [Note: the Father] so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Revelation 2:4-5:
4 Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken the love you had at first.
5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Only through the transformation of first love and the truth of God’s Word are we able to bring destruction to the camp of the adversary, who works with fear, distraction, and intimidation (cf. 1 John 4:18a).

1 John 4:18a-b:
18a-b There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, …

The Sevenfold Light and First Love

The shift within the phase of change impacts to averting evil and the LORD defending His righteous ones on earth. He accomplishes this through the influence of the sevenfold light from His right hand and His moving presence within His ekklēsia (cf. Revelation 2:1).

Revelation 2:1:
1 ‘To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

The two attributes, namely the seven stars and the seven golden lamp stands carry two different potentials of the light of God, which are divine government and spirit-filled passion toward the Lord. The light of the seven stars encompasses the impulsive supernatural light of the angelic realm. The potential warm light of the seven lampstands is the passion of the ekklēsia in the richness of faith as well as the attention towards the King of eternity, who is also her Bridegroom.

The fusion of the two kinds of light brings forth that the ekklēsia serves the LORD as a huge satellite of His eternal reign, releasing His supernatural impulses on earth in the first love. The ekklēsia is appointed to cooperate with God’s spiritual world and its institutions as contributing in reflecting the activities of the unseen.

In relation to the fellowship of saints in Ephesus, it can be described as a so-called ‘guiding star’ among the churches mentioned in Revelation, since it is the church where the ‘first love – agąpē’ is called by Jesus Christ and is first in place with God (cf. Matthew 22:36-40 i.c.w. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3).

Matthew 22:36-40:
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

1 Corinthians 13:1-3:
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Without the first love for Jesus Christ, we as saints cannot implement the will of God and receive the love of the Father, because Jesus is the love of the Father. And through him we are sent out as disciples of Christ (cf. John 14:21 i.c.w. John 20:21).

John 14:21:
21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

John 20:21:
21 Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’

The shift within the phase of change goes hand in hand with the light impulse of the flying eagle before the throne of God, which with its lightning flash acts upon a subordinate level of revelation within the ekklēsia on earth. This is resulting in an apostolic attraction in the form of growth within the ekklēsia. And this apostolic magnetism initiated by God leads us to higher revelatory impulses in the form of wisdom and knowledge that are hidden in Christ Jesus (cf. Colossians 2:2-3).

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

The Movement of Apollos and Paul

This shift is like the arrival of Apollos in Ephesus, who, because he had a humble heart, allowed the higher impulses of prophecy and wisdom of God, represented by Aquila – ‘eagle’ and Priscilla – ‘old, honorable’ to influence him within his spiritual calling (cf. Ephesians 1:17).

Ephesians 1:17:
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

This led him to walk in a higher dimension of prophetic communication from Ephesus and to let the light of revelatory knowledge shine into other regions. In addition, he contributed to regeneration and healed the wounds (Note: ‘Achaia’ means ‘place of pain or sorrow’) from the past in people’s hearts through the revelatory power of the Word of God (cf. Acts 18:23-28 i.c.w. Luke 7:7).

Acts 18:23-28:
23 After spending some time in Antioch, Paul set out from there and travelled from place to place throughout the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
24 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures.
25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervour and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John.
26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.
27 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed.
28 For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.

Luke 7:7:
7 That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.

‘Prophetic Journalism’ and the Strengthening of the Economy

It is this shift within the phase of change, brought about by the influence of God-given prophetic journalism, that results in the strengthening of the economy of the Kingdom of God, as revealed by Apollos’ arrival in the city of Corinth.

Apollos’ departure from Ephesus in the form of prophetic impact and his arrival in the city of Corinth, a famous trading city at that time, resulted in the apostle Paul coming from the highlands to Ephesus and using the path prepared by Apollos to establish a new apostolic measure of higher spiritual quality. He did this by opening up the higher way in Christ Jesus to the twelve disciples of John, so that they could dwell in a higher level of authority and revelation in the Holy Spirit (cf. Acts 19:1-7).

Acts 19:1-7:
1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and asked them, ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?’ They answered, ‘No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.’
3 So Paul asked, ‘Then what baptism did you receive?’ ‘John’s baptism,’ they replied.
4 Paul said, ‘John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.’
5 On hearing this, they were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
7 There were about twelve men in all.

It is the Lord’s desire to meet the saints personally, but also as a group, on their journey, to lift them to a new level of His revelatory power within the current phase of change and to position them there in the apostolic order for the coming season. Are we ready for this?

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
