The World of Plants and the Righteous in Christ

God brought the plant world into existence on the third day. This creation was preceded by the accumulation of water in the depths or hollows of the earth, so that the realms of the earth and the sea became visible (cf. Genesis 1:9-13).
 
Genesis 1:9-13:
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.
10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
13 And there was evening, and there was morning – the third day.
 
Thus, a part of the waters (Note: the lower waters) that previously covered the entire earth and over which the Spirit of God hovered was caught up by the depths of the earth. This reveals that the water is the God-assigned ‘depths’ of the earth, which are linked to His mysteries in the Sonship of Christ and can be discovered through the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the form of wisdom and revelation.
 
The discovery of the so-called ‘depths of God’ in Christ Jesus have their foundation in the love of God – agąpē (cf. Colossians 2:2b-3 i.c.w. Ephesians 1:17; Ephesians 3:17-18).
 
Colossians 2:2b-3:
… 2b and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
 
Ephesians 1:17:
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
 
Ephesians 3:17-18:
... 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, …
 
The Planting of the Lord and the Depths of God
 
This also explains that the ‘planting of the LORD’ (Note: the righteous in Christ) is called, among other things, to search the ‘depths of God’, much like the root system takes in water from the deep ground to nourish itself.
 
In this regard, the truth of the Word of God has a special significance, acting like a cloak for the mysteries of God, which must be opened by searching in the Word of God in order to gain access to these mysteries and to produce spiritual fruit (cf. Acts 17:11 i.c.w. Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:7-8).
 
Acts 17:11:
11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
 
Psalm 1:3:
3 That person (Note: the righteous) is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.
 
Jeremiah 17:7-8:
7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
 
It is the light of God, namely Jesus Christ, illuminating the Word of God through the Holy Spirit, so that the letter of the Word becomes alive and can bring up an inner emotional transformation as well as divine positioning or rooting in our lives (cf. 2 Corinthians 3:6b i.c.w. Isaiah 61:3).
 
2 Corinthians 3:6b:
… 6b not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
 
Isaiah 61:3:
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
 
The righteous in Christ Jesus are positioned in the golden-transparent capital of Israel, namely the heavenly-messianic Jerusalem by the river, which comprises the structure of the Bride or Wife of the Lamb (cf. Revelation 21:2.9-11).
 
Revelation 21:2.9-11:
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. …
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.
 
The righteous partake of the waters of the crystal sea, which contain the governmental presence and its profound secrets or plans for the nations to be delivered in the form of leaves as healing in the present on earth (cf. Revelation 22:1-2).
 
Revelation 22:1-2:
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
 
Among other things, the leaves also represent encouraging spoken words that build up and bring the necessary strength to those we serve to continue on the path strengthened with Christ Jesus, even in challenges and to even go with Him to a higher spiritual level (cf. Matthew 17:1).
 
Matthew 17:1:
1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.
 
This is evident from the Hebrew word ‘עָלֶה – `āläh’ for ‘leaves’ of which the Hebrew root word is 'עָלָה – ālāh’ meaning ‘to go up, to ascend’. Both words begin with the Hebrew letter ‘Ayin’, which also means ‘eye’ or ‘wellspring’.
 
The Saliva of Christ and the Power of Vision
 
It is no coincidence that the man blind from birth whom Jesus healed was to wash himself in the waters of the pool of Siloam after coming into contact with Jesus’ saliva on his eyes (cf. John 9:6-7).
 
John 9:6-7:
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.
7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
 
Furthermore, Jesus similarly healed a blind man in Bethsaida with the help of His saliva, who saw the people who were present there walking around like trees, which can be seen as a reference to the realm of the righteous in Christ Jesus.
 
Mark 8:22-25:
22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him.
23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
 
It is no coincidence that Jesus used His saliva to heal the eyes because His voice is like the sound of many waters and the testimony of Jesus, the spirit of prophecy (cf. Revelation 1:15b i.c.w. Revelation 19:10e).
 
Revelation 1:15b:

Revelation 19:10e (KJV):
… 10e for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
 
In this context, plants and trees in gardens or in the open nature can also be effective as signs following us to speak to us and to show our fruitfulness as well as growth.
 
As the plants created by God have a positive effect on the sphere, so we are set under the glory of the Father in the sonship of His light (Note: Jesus Christ) and in the earth of God’s love (Note: Father) in the truth of the Word (Note: Holy Spirit) always to grow in order to bring fruit (Note: righteousness) to the people.
 
Just as in the plant world everything brings forth according to its seed and kind, so also we are destined to bring forth our fruit of God’s righteousness, which we are not able to do by our own strength (cf. John 15:5).
 
John 15:5:
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
 
And just as a pear tree is set to bring forth pears and just not cherries (Note: after its kind; cf. Matthew 7:16-18), so in Christ we bring forth the righteousness of God with our growth in the Word of God and positioning in the Kingdom of God to purify the sphere, inspire it, and give place to angels who are also represented in the prophetic context with birds.
 
We may remember that all this is formed by the grace of God; for righteousness with God is connected with His grace and our faith (cf. Romans 1:16-19).
 
Romans 1:16-19:
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith (cf. Habakkuk 2:4).”
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
 
Thus, we are called to manifest the righteousness of God by glorifying God with our lives and -especially in challenging times – growing like trees toward Him (cf. Ephesians 4:15).
 
Ephesians 4:15:
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
