There are events in life that carry within them a prophetic revelation and are intended by God to point us as His people to a specific aspect and paradigm shift.
These include the partial collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden, the capital of the German state of Saxony.
Two days before my wife and I were invited to a long-planned ministry to saints in the state of Saxony, the southern main span of the western section C of the Carola Bridge collapsed on September 11, 2024, according to reports between 02:58 and 03:01 a.m. over the river Elbe. The tram lines 3 and 7 in Dresden were running on this section of the bridge along with the pedestrian and bicycle path before it collapsed. The streetcar tracks were suspended in the air.
There were also two main district heating pipes damaged in the collapse, causing hot water to flow temporarily into the Elbe and onto the banks of the terrace, although no one was reported to have been injured.
To find out God’s prophetic direction in this event, it is wise to ask the question, ‘If this had been a dream, what would it mean?’ While we were in Saxony, the Lord began to speak to us concerning the collapse of the bridge.
The Prompting of the Holy Spirit and Spiritual ‘Brokenness’
The Holy Spirit calls us as saints of the ecclesia to come into agreement with the high ways and plans of God, without deviating from them to the right or left, but to live completely according to the truth of the Word of God regardless of all circumstances (cf. Isaiah 55:8-11 i.c.w. Joshua 1:7; Proverbs 4:27).
Isaiah 55:8-11:
8 ‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord.
9 ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Joshua 1:7:
7 ‘Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. …’
7 ‘Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. …’
Proverbs 4:27:
27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
Here, spiritual ‘brokenness’ takes on a special significance due to the currently more present injustice in our country as well as worldwide, because ‘brokenness’ goes hand in hand with the closeness of God (cf. Psalm 34:18; Psalm 51:17).
Psalm 34:18:
18 The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
18 The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 51:17:
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
The Bridge Collapse in the Biblical Month of Elul and the Third Watch of the Night
According to the biblical calendar, the collapse of the Carola Bridge occurred at the end of the third night watch or the beginning of the fourth night watch in the biblical month of Elul. The name ‘Carola’ is a compound word and means ‘the man/husband, the free woman, the beloved’. This name is related to the month of Elul due to its meaning.
The name ‘Elul’ is an acronym that carries the Bible verse from Song of Songs 6:3a, which states: ‘I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; …’ In Hebrew, the first letter of each word in that phrase spells out the name of this month abbreviated - ELUL.
This phrase directs to knowing that we are Jesus’ treasured possession, and He is ours through a real love relationship by the spirit. It as well points to the coming of Jesus as king into the city of Jerusalem which is in the spirit realm the structure of the bride of Christ (cf. Revelation 21:2.9b-10).
Revelation 21:2.9b-10:
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. …
… 9b “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
=> The third night watch covers the phase from the beginning of the daybreak (hebr. ‘mishchar’; time of day when the cock crows) from midnight –to 3 am (cf. Psalm 110:3; Mark 13:35).
Psalm 110:3:
3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.
3 Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.
Mark 13:35:
35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back – whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. …”
During the third night watch there is lots of spiritual activity. It is a time where the LORD gives more dreams. The third night watch is a time frame in which believers might get the possibility to exercise authority over a spiritual covenant breaker, who raises doubt and unbelief and also wants to break the direction of the path.
The habit of the rooster or cock to crow at periodic intervals during the night in the east gave rise to the expression ‘cockcrow’, to show a certain section of time (cf. Mark 13:35). The Romans called this the last watch of the night. This watch could also be compared to ‘daybreak’. This took place at approximately 3 am. The Hebrews defined the time frame of the cockcrow by describing it with the words, ‘singing of the rooster’.
The ‘cockcrow’ was an undefined hour in the night, somewhere between midnight and morning. It is also mentioned throughout all the gospels in regard to Peter’s denial (cf. Matthew 26:34; Mark 14:30; Luke 22:34; John 13:38). The crowing of a rooster reminded Peter just how easy it was to deny the Savior.
Matthew 26:34:
34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”
34 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”
Mark 14:30:
30 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “today—yes, tonight—before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times.”
30 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “today—yes, tonight—before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times.”
Luke 22:34:
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
John 13:38:
38 Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times! <=
38 Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times! <=
(Note: The text set in ‘=>’ is based on a revelatory teaching by Chuck D. Pierce, GZI).
The Lord has initiated a spiritual awakening in His people in Germany and is asking us to stand with Him and the truth of His Word, no matter the cost.
Now is the time to act against the spiritual covenant breaker that is over our land and move forward in the uncompromising nature of God, as indicated by the cold water of the river and the released hot water of the main district heating supply (cf. Revelation 3:14-16).
Revelation 3:14-16:
14 ‘To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
16 So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.
The ‘Pe-Decade’ and the Open Mouth
As the people of God, we are currently in the biblical ‘Pe-decade’, which is linked in its meaning to the mouth and the speaking of truth.
After the building complex of the Carola Bridge collapsed, an open mouth became visible through which the water of the Elbe flowed (Note: shortly after the event, as later photos show the flooding of the following days). The collapsed part of the bridge formed the lower jaw, and the non-collapsed part of the bridge formed the upper jaw.
We are about to enter the new biblical year ‘Pe-He’ within the ‘Pe-decade’, the Hebrew letters of which literally make up the Hebrew word ‘Peh’ for ‘mouth’.
Briefly mentioned, the coming biblical year 5785 is linked to the Hebrew letter ‘He’, which has the numerical value ‘5’ and is associated with the breath of God’s wind. This fact calls us as people of God to recognize revelations of God through the spirit of wisdom and revelation.
This results in a greater knowledge about God, the Heavenly Father, who is Spirit (cf. Ephesians 1:17 i.c.w. John 4:24a).
Ephesians 1:17:
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
John 4:24a:
24a God is spirit, …
24a God is spirit, …
This greater knowledge of God is equivalent to Jesus’ action when He blew on His disciples with His breath and invited them to receive the Holy Spirit (cf. John 20:22).
John 20:22:
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. …’
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. …’
Since the voice of the Almighty and of Christ resembles the sound of many waters and a river indicates the movement of the Holy Spirit, we can recognize in it the call of our King, Jesus Christ, to walk on His high ways (Note: track/rails) and to speak the revelatory truth that God is speaking to people at this time and especially in this case to the German people (cf. Ezekiel 1:24a; Revelation 1:15 i.c.w. John 7:38-39a).
Ezekiel 1:24a:
24a When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty [Shaddai], …
24a When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almighty [Shaddai], …
Revelation 1:15:
15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.
John 7:38-39a:
‘… 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’
39a By this he meant the Spirit, …
‘… 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’

The Spiritual Warfare over Germany and the Facet of the Lamb of God
A spiritual battle for truth between good and evil is currently taking place in Germany amid Europe and globally. The power of the lie seems to be asserting itself strongly and boldly at the moment, so that it is being transformed into right, which, however, does not correspond to the truth and right of the Word of God (cf. Romans 1:24-25).
Romans 1:24-25:
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator – who is for ever praised. Amen.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator – who is for ever praised. Amen.
We are called as saints of the ecclesia to speak the truth of God’s Word while allowing the measure of the Lamb’s silence to work in the atmosphere in a similar way to Jesus when He stood before Pilate (cf. John 18:37-38a; John 19:8-9 i.c.w. Matthew 27:12).
John 18:37-38a:
37 ‘You are a king, then!’ said Pilate. Jesus answered, ‘You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.’
38a ‘What is truth?’ retorted Pilate. …

38a ‘What is truth?’ retorted Pilate. …
John 19:8-9:
8 When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. ‘Where do you come from?’ he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer.
8 When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. ‘Where do you come from?’ he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer.
Matthew 27:12:
12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer.
This becomes clear to us from the tramway line with the numbers 3 and 7. These two numerical values occur in the Hebrew word ‘gāsas’, which is used for ‘shearing’ (Note: word explanation for the Hebrew word ‘gāsas – to shear, to be sheared’ taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the word key number: 1517).
The ‘shearing’ is intended to point us as the ecclesia to the time of the facet of the Lamb of God, who appears in a greater dynamic than it was the case at the time of John the Baptist.
The temporary time of Jesus Christ when He lived on earth can also be described as the time of the Lamb of God, who is revealed in the Book of Revelation as ‘the wounded Lamb with seven horns and seven eyes’ (cf. Revelation 5:6).
Revelation 5:6:
6 Then I [Note: John.] saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the centre of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
This description of the Lamb in eternity encompasses the temporary time of Jesus on earth up to and including His death, along with His triumph over sin, death and the devil, as well as the level of the sevenfold character of the Spirit of God in His sonship. The sonship of God is accompanied by the effect of the seven horns in the form of power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and praise (cf. John 16:7.13-15 i.c.w. Revelation 5:12).
John 16:7.13-15:
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. …
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.
15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.’
Revelation 5:12:
12 In a loud voice they [Note: angels] were saying: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!’
In the spiritual realm of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, various levels of time are hidden, which carry revelatory truth within them, as can also be seen from Isaiah 53:7 i.c.w. Acts 8:32.
Isaiah 53:7:
7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
Acts 8:32 [German Luther Bible Version]:
32 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading: ‘Like a sheep that is led to the slaughter, and like a lamb that falls silent before its shearer, he does not open his mouth. ...’
Based on these two biblical passages just mentioned, the past tense is first used in Isaiah, although Jesus’ sacrificial death was still several hundred years in the future. In Isaiah, the lamb is associated with the slaughter and the sheep with the shearer as representing the mature spiritual status in Christ.
In this we can also recognize the quality of true surrender in the form of laying down our own life as well as the strength of giving that results from the presence of the Word of God, in which we decrease so that Christ can increase in us (cf. John 3:30 i.c.w. Hebrews 4:12-13).
John 3:30:
‘… 30 He [Note: Christ] must become greater; I [Note: John the Baptist] must become less.’
Hebrews 4:12-13:
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Thus, the lamb in this case is related to the giving of life as an investment of time for the kingdom of God and the sheep is related to the giving of substance as wool herein represents economy into the kingdom of God.
In Acts 8:32, the passage from Isaiah 53 is read by the eunuch of the court of the queen of Ethiopia, whereby it is recorded in the present tense and the sheep is mentioned first in connection with the slaughter and only secondly the lamb with the shearer. This also conceals a secret of God’s instruction, as Jesus’ death on the cross had already taken place.
The Devotion and Serving in the Generations
It is the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of truth, who draws our attention to the importance of the attitude of the heart within the generations (Note: older and younger generation), who make themselves one with the complete devotion of Jesus and His service in which they live symbiotically before the visible and invisible world.
Furthermore, it is about being led in faith in complete self-denial (Note: led to the slaughter => movement) and full obedience (Note: mute before the shearer => to hear and not to speak) in love for Jesus Christ.
On the basis of these two previously mentioned biblical passages, we can recognize the dimension of God as ‘the one who was, who is and who is to come’ and ‘the one who is, who was and who is to come’ as well as a return to the first love, because time enters the present within what has already been realized and thus rejuvenates itself (cf. Revelation 2:4-5a i.c.w. Job 33:25; Psalm 103:5; Isaiah 40:31).
Revelation 2:4-5a:
4 Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken the love you had at first.
5a Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. …
Job 33:25:
“… 25 let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth” –
Psalm 103:5:
… 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Isaiah 40:31:
… 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Speaking Revelatory Truth
As God’s army, we must speak the revelatory truth that the Holy Spirit shows us and speak it into the visible world by proclaiming and boldly decreeing it. This will change the spiritual atmosphere over Germany so that the righteousness of God is established in the visible realm (cf. Genesis 1:1-5 i.c.w. John 1:1-5).
Genesis 1:1-5:
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.
4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light ‘day’, and the darkness he called ‘night’. And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.

3 And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.
4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light ‘day’, and the darkness he called ‘night’. And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.
John 1:1-5:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
The word spoken through the bride of the Lamb results in Christ manifesting Himself as the living Word of God in the visible world, thereby bringing order and redemption.

Although we cannot go into all aspects of the collapse of the Carola Bridge in Dresden with the reports and information that have come in since then, if we are teachable disciples of Christ, we recognize in this incident the need to seize the ‘hour’ for us as people of God in the authority of the Holy Spirit.
Dresden as the state capital of Saxony, which also historically as part of Germany as the ‘kingdom of Saxony’ attracts many tourists with its buildings and history, is also a certain ‘play on words’ in the German language. When you pronounce ‘Dresden’, it sounds like when someone talks about turning something around in a situation and says: ‘Dreh’s d’n ...’ as in German it means ‘Turn it around’.
Accordingly, let us as the German-speaking ecclesia ‘stand as one man’ in the movement to bring about a turnaround for the future by showing courage and backbone because we know what the Word of God says about us and the Spirit allotted in us, what we are to reveal in our appearance, thinking, speaking and acting (cf. 2 Timothy 1:7).
2 Timothy 1:7:
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid (Note: cowardly, gutless), but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid (Note: cowardly, gutless), but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Amen and Amen.
In His Wisdom,
