As people of God we enter with Jesus Christ at certain times into periods of time when things intensify and God, according to our assigned responsibility, demands a further step from us.

This specific step includes coming closer to Him. This approach results in a greater presence of God, which carries within it a threefold radiance of light (cf. James 4:8a i.c.w. Isaiah 60:1).

James 4:8a:
8a Come near to God and he will come near to you. …

Isaiah 60:1:
1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

Getting Closer to Jesus

The decision to draw nearer to God result in increasing in the light of truth and the luminous presence of sonship and the fatherhood of God which personally surrounds or covers us.

The revelatory light of the glory of the Father has its seat in the land of the living and testifies of the events to come, even if it is not comprehended by the present religious systems.

The influence of the revelatory light of God is the movement that comes from His throne room.
It is the movement of the Cherubim, which corresponds to lightning, and which proceeds from the spirit realm to affect the minds of those who move forward faithfully with the Lord.

The presence of God contains His living light which, among other things, illuminates the realm where we as saints are able to recognize His truth as revelatory truth (cf. Psalm 36:9).

Psalm 36:9:
9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

In order to walk in this revelatory truth, it is essential to live in the love for God, for oneself and for one's neighbor (cf. Matthew 22:36-39).

Matthew 22:36-39:
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ (cf. Deuteronomy 6:5) 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (cf. Leviticus 19:18)

The walk in the first love corresponds to the high place where the light of the sevenfold Spirit of God (cf. Isaiah 11:2) moves, which is interwoven with the first love, according to the exhortation of Jesus Christ to the church of Ephesus (cf. Revelation 2:4-5).

Revelation 2:4-5:
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

Life in the Love of God

It is the love of God (note: Greek ‘agạpē’), in which it is necessary to live without restrictions, which means that one lives in love for one's neighbor. This love for our neighbor contributes to unity, so that the anointing of God flows into the area of the cooperative priesthood (note: relationship with God the Father) within the body of Christ. As a result, the priesthood shines in a new way and the presence of God's blessing and life is revealed (cf. Psalm 133).

Psalm 133:
1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! 2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. 3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.

As we move together in the love of God as saints, it results that people in the world are beginning to recognize the standard of the true discipleship of Jesus. (cf. John 13:35).

John 13:35:
35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

In connection with the pure love (note: Greek ‘agạpē’) of the saints for one another and the resulting unity, the message to the church (note: Greek ‘ekklēsịa’ => community of saints – the called out) to Philadelphia has a special significance (see Revelation 3:7-8a).

Revelation 3:7-8a-b:
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8a-b I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. …

The name of the region ‘Philadelphia’ means translated ‘brotherly love’ and is an indication of the importance of love and unity of believers in Christ for one another. This true and pure divine love for one another enables to enter into the spiritual dimensions of the mystery in Christ.

The legitimate entry into these secret/mysterious dimensions contributes to greater revelation in the way of wisdom and knowledge (cf. Colossians 2:2-3).

Colossians 2:2-3:
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

In these spiritual places, the Lord is acting in a new way, beginning to strengthen us in our personal spiritual identity, along with the spiritual substance of revelatory truth in the shape of knowledge. In connection with this is also an intensification in the discipleship of Jesus Christ.
This is a principle revealed, when we look at the appointment of Simon (note: means ‘hearing’) by Jesus, to whom He gave the name Peter (note: means ‘rock’) (cf. Mark 3:16).

Mark 3:16:
16 These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter), …

The disciple Simon transferred from the realm of ‘response’ to the realm of the presence of God's revelatory truth represented by the ‘rock’ (cf. Matthew 16:16-18).

Matthew 16:16-18:
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock (note: this revelatory knowledge) I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Through this revelatory knowledge Peter became a person with a spiritual mandate who was entitled to grant or deny spiritual access (cf. Matthew 16:19).

Matthew 16:19:
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Faithful Following and the Extension of Identity

It is required to follow Jesus Christ faithfully and to cultivate the fellowship with the Heavenly Father, as Jesus said in relation to prayer (cf. Matthew 6:6).

Matthew 6:6:
6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

The ‘room’ of which Jesus spoke was the small simple storehouse which was next to the farmhouse and was completely dark when the door was closed. It was thus a place of the mysteries of God, where the Father revealed Himself to the person praying in the way He intended to do.

This ‘dark place’ can also be compared to the dark cloud of God's glory that Solomon experienced and into which Moses entered on Mount Horeb (note: Sinai) to speak to God and to see Him (cf. 1 Kings 8:10-12; Exodus 24:15-18).

1 Kings 8:10-12:
10 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord. 11 And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple. 12 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; …

Exodus 24:15-18:
15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, 16 and the glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.
17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.
18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

As we cultivate personal fellowship with the Heavenly Father and follow Jesus Christ in sonship as well as live in divine love for one another, new appointments in Christ Jesus also come about, involving an expansion of identity and bringing forth of spiritual alignments. In these alignments is no room for competitive mindset (note: to compare oneself).

His calling or extension of identity brings the saints together under one banner, which is clearly shown in the calling of James and John, whom Jesus Christ also called ‘Boanerges – sons of thunder’ (cf. Mark 3:17).

Mark 3:17:
17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”), …

Their calling makes it clear that it is so very important to hold fast to the promise in Christ (note: James; see Revelation 2:25) and to move forward in the grace of the God of Israel (note: John; see Titus 2:11-14).

Revelation 2:25:
… 25 except to hold on to what you have until I come.’

Titus 2:11-14:
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

It is the ‘thunder of God’ that reveals the power of His voice and contains His secrets. These thunders, when manifested in the structure of the seven thunders, carry the holiness of His revelatory Word within themselves, so it is not permitted to transfer them to a lower spiritual level (cf. Revelation 10:3-4 i.c.w. Matthew 7:6; Daniel 10:7).

Revelation 10:3-4:
… 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

Matthew 7:6:
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Daniel 10:7:
7 I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves.

Furthermore, the unconditional discipleship of Jesus Christ, as well as the walk in His triumph on the cross in the love of God and in unity with one another, leads to becoming a supportive force in the temple of God and growing into an identity in Christ that is accompanied by a high level of responsibility, which is connected with the identity of the Heavenly Father, His seat of government and the new identity of Christ (cf. Revelation 3:12).

Revelation 3:12:
12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

This implies to be a ‘pillar’ according to Revelation 3:12 and means in a spiritual context that one understands how to connect and secure the spiritual dimensions to each other on behalf of God, similar to what James, Cephas (note: Peter) and John did, who were seen as pillars of the ‘ekklēsịa’ in Jerusalem (cf. Galatians 2:9).

Galatians 2:9:
… 9 James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

The functional character of the supernatural pillars is comparable to an advisory function. Pillars have more of a function in support and administration of wisdom and knowledge, because they maintain and support the respective ‘things’ to which they are connected.

Letting Go of the Time of the Past

As we move forward with Christ Jesus, it is essential that we let go of the past time we have experienced with Him in order to be able to receive the new that the Lord has given us. In doing so, we do not forget what He has done good, but build on what He has done, while at the same time allowing His Spirit to bring forth what He wants to bring forth in this time (cf. Deuteronomy 4:9 i.c.w. Psalm 103:2).

Deuteronomy 4:9:
9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

Psalm 103:2:
2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits – …

It is similar to the time of Adam and Abraham when the Lord caused a deep sleep to come upon them and brought forth or communicated what He wanted to bring into existence (cf. Genesis 2:21-22; Genesis 15:12.17-21).

Genesis 2:21-22:
21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs (note: side) and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

Genesis 15:12.17-21:
12 As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. …
17 When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces. 18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates – 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”

The willingness of our hearts to draw near to Him and to allow ourselves to be drawn near to Him first brings about the necessary faithfulness in us, which allows us to live in the love and truth which is God Himself, and to witness His glory to others.

Only when we are able to grasp the authority entrusted to us from a mature attitude, sincere and free from self-righteousness in the faithful handling of responsibility, do we grow in our capacity to bear more of His glory. This increase of capacity in loyalty, brought about by closeness, is what gives rise to the advancement of the Kingdom, which reveals Him as the King of Kings and seeks no prestige in the world.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

In Genesis 49:20 we are told of Asher, one of the sons of Jacob, who received the blessing from his father to distribute royal food.

Genesis 49:20:
20 “Asher’s food will be rich; he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

Since it is the duty of kings to rule and the Word of God is food (cf. Matthew 4:4 i.c.w. John 6:35), I would like to share this message to refer to the royal nature of Jesus and the governmental seat of God.

Matthew 4:4:
4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’(cf. Deuteronomy 8:3)”

John 6:35:
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

The Higher Level of Authority in Christ

At certain times, we enter with Jesus Christ into spheres in which Christ reveals Himself in a higher level of authority. This revelation requires to administer responsibly the things that are revealed to us and as a result, we move forward responsibly with the revelation made about Jesus.

Personally, I am convinced that we are at a time when Jesus Christ is meeting us at a higher level of authority, which implies that He reveals Himself as the Word of God in the facet of the King of kings and Lord of lords (cf. Revelation 19:13.16).

Revelation 19:13.16:
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. …
16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.

This dimension of the Word of God is on a higher spiritual level, which is why it is necessary to have approached Jesus Christ in this realm of authority in order to see and understand His royal government accordingly.

Anyone who looks at Christ in this royal facet of government from a lower spiritual level would be afraid and might perceive Him as judging without love, which doesn't correspond to the revelatory truth of the Word of God at all.

It is the desire of God that we, as saints, enter into this royal structure of Jesus and identify fully with His royal movement and royal identity by becoming one with it. As a result, we reflect Jesus Christ as the eternal King on earth in the right way.

In order to reach this level of the ‘Body of Christ’ as King of kings, it is necessary for us to pass through and build upon various spiritual levels as believers in Christ. These are:
  1. The white horse,
  2. Christ in faithfulness,
  3. Christ in truth,
  4. Christ as the righteous warrior,
  5. Christ as the one who is concealed,
  6. Christ as the Word of God,
  7. Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords (cf. Revelation 19:11-16).
Revelation 19:11-16:
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.
12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.

The Glorious War Horse of Judah

In order for Christ to be represented in His eternal kingdom government according to the Word of God, it is first necessary to move as a saint in the unified structure of the white, glorious war horse, which is the magnificent steed of Judah (note: means ‘praise’), because Jesus Christ is the lion of the tribe of Judah (cf. Zechariah 10:3b-5 i.c.w. Revelation 5:5a)

Zechariah 10:3b-5:
… 3b for the Lord Almighty will care for his flock, the people of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle.
4 From Judah will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler.
5 Together they will be like warriors in battle trampling their enemy into the mud of the streets. They will fight because the Lord is with them, and they will put the enemy horsemen to shame.

Revelation 5:5a:
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, …

This abiding state and residence in the structure of the white glorious horse of Judah implies a lifestyle in true worship and unity with saints, who are unreservedly willing to let themselves be transformed by the Holy Spirit from a flock of sheep to the level of the glorious battle horse, in order to carry Jesus Christ and reflect Him on earth in authority.

These facets mentioned above mean the walk in:
  • worship according to the heavenly standards of God,
  • faithfulness to Christ as the Word of God,
  • truthfulness (note: transparency) to Christ as the Word of God and to the saints,
  • higher level of spiritual warfare, which includes cooperative, apostolic, spiritual warfare (note: The Word of God comes out of the mouth of Christ and is not carried by Him at His waist or in His hand; cf. Revelation 19:15a i.c.w. Hebrews 4:12-13),
  • the mystery of Christ in the shape of wisdom and knowledge hidden within Him (cf. Colossians 2:2-3)
  • Christ as the living Word of God, which includes revelatory truth,
  • the kingship and government of Christ (note: dealing with authority in honor).
If we, as believers in Christ, don't go through and live in these different levels, we will not be able to properly understand the royal dominion of Christ in order to act upon it according to the will of God. It is, however, the blood of Jesus with which He bought us to serve in this governmental rule (cf. Revelation 1:5-6).

Revelation 1:5-6:
… 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father – to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

The transformation from the flock of sheep into the magnificently war horse presupposes the renewing of the mind. This will result in us leaving the lifestyle of a flock of sheep that stays in the meadow (note: symbolizes life in redemption, obedience and searching for ones own provision – i.e. eating grass – without being in a unitary mandate of authority; see John 10:9.27-28), and entering into the unitary structure of the white warhorse of the Lion of Judah, as the prophet Zechariah prophesied.

By this we are able to not merely follow Jesus Christ but to carry Him as King of Kings and LORD OF LORDS in honor in spiritual battle, wherever He wants to go. In this context Jesus Christ doesn't guide us by standing, as a shepherd does his flock, but by sitting.

This points to Jesus Christ ascending into a higher level in the supernatural as a result of knowledge and spiritual maturity of His people as this higher level is connected to humility, His kingdom rule and the covering anointing (see Luke 22:69 i.c.w. Colossians 3:1-2).

Luke 22:69:
69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.

Colossians 3:1-2:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

When Jesus Christ rides on His white horse, the word of God is manifested in power!

To this effect we are still led by His hand, and we experience the covering presence of His faithfulness and truth, and also the strength of divine righteousness which emanates from Him. This specific presence reveals Him speaking the word of truth to cut off all adverseness that needs to be cut off, and to expose everything that needs to be exposed.

Unconditional Discipleship and the Dimensions of Heaven

The unconditional discipleship of Jesus causes the Heavenly Father to permit us to enter into spiritual dimensions, which means seeing the heavens open like John (cf. Revelation 19:11a).

Revelation 19:11a:
11 I saw heaven standing open …

These dimensions are spheres where the Lord teaches us His kingdom principles so that we may walk and serve in them by knowledge.

It is essential that we as believers mature into saints who are able to walk in the dimensions of the King of kings and Lord of lords in order to establish justice according to the will of God.

Revelation 5:1-7 clearly shows that there are different levels in the heavens that are associated with different tasks and authorities.

Revelation 5:1-7:
1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

If, we as saints, would like to enter into the sphere that is associated with God's hidden plan, it is needed that we grow spiritually in order to stand in the full maturity of the fullness of Christ (cf. Ephesians 4:13).

Ephesians 4:13:
… 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

In connection with this is the principle of faithfulness as there is nothing which can replace faithfulness and it is this continuous faithfulness in the little, which is connected with the great (cf. Matthew 25:21 i.c.w. Luke 16:10a).

Matthew 25:21:
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Luke 16:10a:
10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, …

This means that we cannot receive the great things from God if we are not faithful in the little things in all areas in life.

It is important that, step by step, we take the path into the dimensions of God, by which we are led by the Holy Spirit teaching us, so that we may grow in spiritual maturity.

In Revelation 5 it says that no one in heaven, on earth or beneath the earth (note: Sheol) was found worthy to open the scroll (note: Revelation of the future) with the seven seals.

This statement of the strong angel can sound irritating, since John was already in heaven in his spirit being, but the angel said that no one in heaven, on earth and beneath the earth was found worthy to open the scroll.

After John had this conversation with the strong angel and then with one of the twenty-four elders whose residence is usually in the throne room, obviously a higher spiritual level entered the spiritual region of heaven where John was staying.

This higher spiritual level had entered in order to reveal the principle of spiritual territorial levels of authority. As a result of the elder's intervention, the spirit of John was directed to a higher spiritual realm, which was not literally ‘heaven’ but the throne room of God.

The throne room is the governmental area of the Heavenly Father and the Son. It is the sphere in which God keeps His hidden revelation and reveals it according to His will and sovereign plan.

The words of the elder refer to the kingdom government and authority of Jesus, as he spoke of the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the root of David. The lion is the king of the land animals and David was king of Israel.

After John heard the revelatory truth of the elder, he began to look into a higher realm of the Spirit, so that he now looked into the throne room and saw the Lamb of God, who was authorized by God to receive the scroll with the seven seals from Him and open it.

The Reception of the Mysteries of God and the Importance of the Throne Room

We can learn from this that in order to receive the mysteries of God, it is required to live in the sacrifice (note: triumph) of Jesus and in the throne room of God (cf. Colossians 3:1-2 i.c.w. Revelation 5:6-7).

Colossians 3:1-2:
1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Revelation 5:6-7:
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

Receiving the mysteries of God is only possible through the influence of revelatory truth that has been preached to us (note: either by the Holy Spirit or a saint), so that we can increase in faith and through obedience get the authority to gain insight into higher realms of the Spirit (cf. Romans 10:17 i.c.w. John 16:13-15).

Romans 10:17:
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

John 16:13-15:
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

The spiritual realm of the throne room of God includes an understanding of authority in general, superior authority as well as walking under the proper spiritual mantle of anointing. This is very clear by comprehension of the Hebrew word for ‘throne’ in its meaning.

=> A throne is the seat of a high priest, military chief or king. It is also the seat of royal power and authority (see 2 Samuel 7:13; Psalm 45:6; Psalm 89:14; Ezekiel 1:26; Daniel 7:9-10; Revelation 4:2-3; Revelation 20:4a.11).
The Hebrew word for “throne” is “kiśśē'” and also means the royal rule of God in the form of sitting on the throne that stands in heaven with the earth as a footstool or in the temple in Jerusalem (see Job 26:9; Psalm 11:4; Psalm 97:2; Isaiah 66:1; Isaiah 6:1).
The Hebrew root word of the word “throne” is “kāśāh” and means “to cover”. <= (note: The text set in ‘=>’ is a part excerpt from the “Prophet's Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 558 and the Elberfelder Study Bible on the word “throne-kiśśē'” and “cover-kāśāh”; word key number: H3749, H3750)

This kind of appropriate covering is illustrated through the calling of Elisha by Elijah, who placed Elisha under his mantle of anointing as a prophet at the right time in the right manner according to the order of God.

It was not Elisha who arbitrarily decided to enter a new field of authority, but God's perfectly chosen time of discipleship (note: Elisha was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen) and God's chosen presence of a higher spiritual authority represented by the prophet Elijah (see 1 Kings 19:19-20a).

1 Kings 19:19-20a:
19 So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. 20a Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. …

This encounter between the prophet Elijah and his future disciple Elisha is similar to John's encounter with the strong angel and one of the twenty-four elders (cf. Revelation 5:2a.5a).

Revelation 5:2a.5a:
2a And I saw a mighty angel …
5a Then one of the elders said to me, …

Only through the testimony of the elder, John decided to enter into the ‘sound frame’ of the Lion of the tribe of Judah (note: the Lion of Judah isn't literally visible in the book of Revelation). That sound included the authority with which John got encircled and made himself one with.

As a result, John was entitled by this sound to look into the spiritual realm of the government of the Lord in order to see the Lamb of God in action and become familiar with the mysteries of God (note: sealed revelation).

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

Since Jesus Christ bought us with His blood as kings and priests, it is essential to reach the level of maturity of a king and a priest, which is connected with responsibility (cf.

Amen.

I personally feel that we, as people of God, find ourselves in a time which is equivalent to the movement of Jesus Christ as the high priest according to the order of Melchizedek, who moves in power in the spiritual realm in royal priesthood and takes those saints with Him into the depths of God who live in holiness (cf. Matthew 24:27 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:14)

Matthew 24:27:
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Hebrews 12:14:
14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

The statement of Jesus that His coming is like a lightning, which flashes from east to west, reflects the way of ministry of the high priest when he did his service in the temple or in the tabernacle. He went from east to west, where the Holy of Holies was located.

The Scripture from Matthew 24:27 not only contains the revelation of the return of Jesus, but is at the same time a revelatory call to us as saints to walk in the spiritual dimension of the body of Christ in the structure of the royal priesthood (note: apostolic authority assigned by God) as well as in the spiritual realm (note: heavenly realms). It is this realm we are enabled to reveal the manifold wisdom of God in the revelatory power to the rulers and authorities (cf. Ephesians 3:8-12).

Ephesians 3:8-12:
8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Since lightning usually discharges in the atmosphere and Jesus' statement speaks of the horizontal flash of lightning, this clearly indicates God's call to us, namely to walk in Christ on a higher level of relationship in the spiritual realm, in order to be sent forth from His throne in power, similar to the lightning emanating from the throne of God (cf. Ephesians 2:6 i.c.w. Revelation 4:5a)

Ephesians 2:6:
6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, …

Revelation 4:5a:
5a From the throne came flashes of lightning, …

The Outgoing Lightning from the Throne of God and the Royal-Priestly Movement

Since the lightnings emanate from the throne of God, an apostolic power can be recognized in them, which is sent out from there, because the ‘apostolic’ is connected with the ‘being sent out’. The Greek word is the process of being sent out, ‘apọstolos’ or ‘apostẹllō’. (note: taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible with the word key numbers: 641 and 644)

Jesus Christ always moves in accordance with the will of the Heavenly Father, which is why the ‘lightning movement’ of the Son of Man conceals the sending of God (cf. John 5:19).

John 5:19:
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

God desires to see His people align with the advancement of the ‘body of Christ’ in the spiritual realm in order to be a part of the lightning-like royal-priestly movement. This movement carries supernatural acceleration and power, whose end is the depths of God, which can be equated with the place of the Holy of Holies (note: located in the west).

Every saint who moves in surrender and in unrestricted walk in life in holiness, as well as being authorized by Christ Jesus to live in this supernatural manifestation, announces something. This implies to announce a new day of God's economy on earth, since the movement of the Son of Man extends from east to west, which is the direction that carries the light of the day. It is the day when man normally goes about his business and work.

God's ‘business’ in the form of His purpose is that believers in Christ who are in the awakened ‘body of Christ’ help to awaken other human beings who are living an earthly life and call them to enter into the realm of the Spirit with the aim of enacting God's plans for this time so that they may manifest themselves on earth (cf. Matthew 6:10).

Matthew 6:10:
… 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

As believers in Christ, it should not be enough for us to remain only in the ‘place’ from where Jesus Christ was raised or also lifted up into heaven. It is necessary that we remain in the heavenly city of Jerusalem, which is a governing principality in the atmosphere above the earth and transfers the measure of heaven to the earth (cf. Luke 24:4-6a; Acts 1:10-11; Luke 24:49b i.c.w. Revelation 21,2.10)

Luke 24:4-6a:
4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6a He is not here; he has risen! …

Acts 1:10-11:
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Luke 24:49b:
“… 49b but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”

Revelation 21:2.10:
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. …
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

The Saints who proceed, move forward in the power of God, who ‘energizes’ the atmosphere above the earth through the presence of the Holy Spirit, in order to touch the inner being of human beings (note: spirit and soul) and to help them enter into a relationship with God the Father (cf. John 14:6).

John 14:6:
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

If you, as a mature saint, passed during your spiritual process of maturity the place of the cross of Jesus (note: His victory over sin in eternity), His grave (note: the eternal triumph of Jesus Christ over death) and His stay on the Mount of Olives after the resurrection (note: resurrection power, calling to reign for eternity in the presence of the Heavenly Father) as well as living according to what Jesus Christ has fulfilled, you are called to only walk on this unshakable foundation in the spiritual realm of the authority of Jesus Christ and to act in it (see 1 Corinthians 3:11).

1 Corinthians 3:11:
11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

This walk and lifestyle includes having a correct understanding of the power of God's saving grace combined with a correct understanding of sin (cf. Titus 2:11-14; James 1:14-15).

James 1:14-15:
… 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

With this appropriate understanding about grace and sin, it is indispensable to walk in the structure of the ‘raised body of Christ’ according to Matthew 24:27.

As a result, believers are made aware of the truth of the Word of God and its principles in love by leading believers who live in sinful patterns into freedom. In this, the progress of the High Priest from the court to the Holy of Holies can serve us as a help.

The Call to Draw Close to God and the Fire of God

Since sin separates from God, which means that one is removed from the realm of God's presence, it is necessary to get close to God again in order to be where He is. This is evident in the statement of James, who spoke of the need to draw near to God and to cleanse the hands and purify the heart (cf. James 4:8).

James 4:8:
8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

We cannot remain nonchalantly in the presence of God by not dealing honorably with the saving grace of God that Jesus Christ has given us. It is therefore better to know the way of the High Priest up to the Holy of Holies in order to appreciate and preserve the meaning of staying in the presence of God.

In order to enter into the presence of God, the fire of God has an important meaning, because God's being is a consuming fire (cf. Deuteronomy 4:24 i.c.w. Hebrews 12:28-29).

Deuteronomy 4:24:
24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Hebrews 12:28-29:
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

The closer we come to the Lord, the more we come into contact with different qualities of God's fire. It is no coincidence that Abraham, for example, as God made a covenant with him, did not come before him empty-handed, resulting in God appearing to him in the presence of the fiery furnace and the burning torch. This apparition reveals, among other things, the fatherhood and sonship of God as consuming fire (cf. Genesis 15:12.17-21).

If one studies the consuming fire of God in the apparition as a fiery oven/altar of burnt offering, as described in Ezekiel 43:15-16, one comes to the conclusion that it is closely connected with the presence of the Lion of God (note: Lion of Judah). The reason for this is that the Hebrew word for ‘altar hearth – 'ărî’ēl' also means ‘war hero’ or ‘lion of God’. The word is still used as a poetic name for Jerusalem (cf. Isaiah 29:1.7). (note: The explanation of the Hebrew word ‘altar hearth – `ărî’ēl’ with the word key number 759*, 760*, 761* is taken from the Elberfelder Study Bible.)

This makes it clear that when one approaches the fire of God as a believer in Christ, one comes into contact with His royal standard of government.

Also Jesus Christ, who was on the cross in the ‘furnace of God's fire’, carried as an indication the sign of His governing mandate on the cross in three linguistic versions above His head, namely King of the Jews (cf. John 19:19-20).

John 19:19-20:
19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the king of the jews. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek.

James wrote to the messianic church in the nations and the scattered tribes of Israel (cf. James 1:1), when he describes in his letter in James 4:8 that believers, who consciously moves in a sinful pattern, are considered sinners in the eyes of God, because in a spiritual context it is a lukewarm state (note: contradictory, living in compromise, inconsistent), which results in being outside of Jesus Christ (cf. Revelation 3:16).

Revelation 3:16:
16 So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Only a repentant heart enables getting close to God again with the content of standing in His presence of government and acting honorably in it. By this I do not mean the realm of the throne of grace, to which we can confidently approach (cf. Hebrews 4:16), but the realm of God's governmental presence, which consists of 26 thrones (note: throne of God, throne of the Lamb, thrones of the 24 elders; cf. Revelation 4:2; Revelation 7:17 i.c.w. Mark 16:19; Revelation 4:4).

Revelation 4:2:
2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.

Revelation 7:17:
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

Mark 16:19:
19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

Revelation 4:4:
4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.

The 26 thrones together bear the numerical value of the God of Israel (note: יְהֹוָה – ‘JHWH’, YAHWEH => Jod (10), He (5), Waw (6), He (5) which is ‘26’ in total).

As God, the Heavenly Father, identifies Himself fully with His Son and His people, it is also our job, through Jesus Christ in His royal priesthood, to reflect the Heavenly Father. This is the reason why Jesus said to Philip that he who sees Him sees the Father (cf. John 14:9).

John 14:9:
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

The ‘Awakened Structure’ of the Body of Christ and the Consuming Fire of God

Mature saints who are moving forward in the awakened structure of the body of Christ (note: like a lightning bolt extending from east to west) are called to introduce believers who have distanced themselves from God through a sinful lifestyle to the fire of God in the various spiritual realms.

This involves:
  1. the fire of the altar of the burnt offering,
  2. the seven fold fire of the Menorah, and
  3. the fire of the altar of incense.
The fire of the altar of burnt offering requires us to confess sin before God, which means that we have become guilty before God. This area is the area of the cross and ‘birth’ because it is related to the elements of blood and water (cf. John 19:34). It is the place where the animals were sacrificed as sin offerings by the priests.

John 19:34:
34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

Having passed through this area in the courtyard, it is important to reflect our acts in faith in the revelatory truth of the Word of God and to purify ourselves in our inner being from unrighteous acts, which is represented by the water of the bronze basin or the ‘brazen sea’ (cf. James 4:8 i.c.w. Exodus 30:17-21; Exodus 38:8).

James 4:8:
8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Exodus 30:17-21:
17 Then the Lord said to Moses, 18 “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it. 20 Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord, 21 they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.”

Exodus 38:8:
8 They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women (note: mirror => faith; cf. 1 Corinthians 13:12) who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

This cleansing only makes us reflect ourselves in the truth of the Word of God, which results in a spiritual movement that brings change.

We should be aware that every ‘heaven’ is associated with a body of water, since there is also a crystal sea before the throne of God (cf. Revelation 4:6a).

Revelation 4:6a:
6a Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. …

When we sincerely approach the consuming fire of God, it is necessary not to appear before God empty-handed. Every ‘type’ of God's consuming fire is associated with His royal dominion (note: altar hearth/the lion of God – 'ărî'ēl), therefore we should stand in awe of God (cf. Hebrews 12:28-29).

Hebrews 12:28-29:
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Having passed through the spirit realm of the altar of the burnt offering and the brazen ‘sea’, we enter from an open heaven (note: courtyard) into a narrower realm of the presence of the fire of God, which is in secret (note: in the sanctuary – Holy Place).

This fire of the Menorah, is the fire of the seven fold Spirit of God, shining forward and shining upon the bread of His presence, the twelve shew breads (cf. Exodus 25:31-33; Exodus 26:35; Numbers 8:2-3 i.c.w. Isaiah 11:2).

Exodus 25:31-33:
31 “Make a lampstand of pure gold. Hammer out its base and shaft, and make its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand – three on one side and three on the other.
33 Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.

Exodus 26:35:
35 Place the table (note: shew bread table) outside the curtain on the north side of the tabernacle and put the lampstand opposite it on the south side.

Numbers 8:2-3:
2 “Speak to Aaron and say to him, ‘When you set up the lamps, see that all seven light up the area in front of the lampstand.’”(note: in this case the light was shining towards the north)
3 Aaron did so; he set up the lamps so that they faced forward on the lampstand, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

Isaiah 11:2:
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord – …

The Menorah – the lampstand with the seven lamps – is about the guidance of the Holy Spirit as counselor and comforter, who guides us in order to internalize the Word of God and its standard/order, which implies leading us into all truth and revealing the future (cf. John 16:8-11.13).

John 16:8-11.13:
8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. …
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Having passed through the spirit realm of the Menorah, we arrive at the presence of the consuming fire of God on the altar of incense, which requires to give incense to the Lord, corresponding to true worship in spirit and truth towards the Heavenly Father (cf. Exodus 30:1-8 i.c.w. John 4:23-24).

Exodus 30:1-8:
1 “Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense. 2 It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high – its horns of one piece with it. 3 Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it. 4 Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding – two on each of the opposite sides – to hold the poles used to carry it. 5 Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 6 Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law – before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law – where I will meet with you. 7 “Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps. 8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.

John 4:23-24:
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The consuming fire of true worship is closely related to the consuming fire of the Menorah, but also to the cherubic presence associated with lightning (note: ‘Cherubim’ means ‘glancing appearance, flashes of lightning’).

True worship results in the formation of white smoke in the covering atmosphere of the Spirit, which is flooded by the forward shining light of the Menorah and energized by the cherubic presence of God associated with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord (cf. Exodus 26:31.33).

Exodus 26:31.33:
31 “Make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim woven into it by a skilled worker. …
33 Hang the curtain from the clasps and place the ark of the covenant law behind the curtain. The curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.

This means that worship is mixed with the presence of the Spirit of Truth, so that the white smoke turns into a golden presence infused with the power of God.

While in this realm of the Spirit, it is essential to interact with God's most important ‘moment’, who is Jesus Christ as the Alpha and Omega, who is our ‘Yom Kippur – the Great Day of Atonement’. This means being completely one with Jesus Christ in order to stand in the ‘dark chamber’ of the Holy of Holies, where God the Heavenly Father shines (cf. John 17:20-26).

John 17:20-26:
20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – 23 I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

The Ejection of God

Now, if you stand as a believer in Christ in this place and consciously enter and live a sinful lifestyle, you are ejected from this intimate spiritual realm by the power of God, so that you find yourself outside the presence of God (cf. Revelation 3:16).

Revelation 3:16:
16 So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold (note: uncompromising) – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Being aware of this value of God's intimacy, it is important to preserve this precious treasure of relationship and not to be seduced by the adversary of entering into any sinful pattern in life.

According to James 4:8, every believer who has realized that he lives far from the presence of God is called to draw near to God again and to purify himself in the truth of the Word of God, in order to be again in the place of intimate fellowship with God the Father (cf. Ephesians 5:26b-27).

Ephesians 5:26b-27:
… cleansing her (note: the church) by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Acknowledging and not doubting the fact that God, as YAHWEH, lets Himself be approached in His holy nature and never mixes with sin, death and lies, but is consistently faithful to Himself, is in accordance with the walking in the fear of the Lord.

Only living in the constant recognition of oneself, in the fear of the Lord, which is connected with the reverence of these three areas of the fire of God, finally brings about maturity in the priesthood and the kingship of God and reaches far beyond personal life and circumstances.

Experiencing and acknowledging the different characteristics of the fire of God leads to a higher realm of responsibility, which, with the favor of God, leads to an increase in knowledge, divine revelation and fulfillment of our destiny as God's people in these end times.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,
