Jesus Christ, who is the fulfillment of the Torah and the prophets, shows us the importance to read the Word of God from the view of His accomplished work of redemption.

Doing this in this way means that the truth of the Word of God is active in a redemptive character, leading us deeper into His freedom (see Matthew 5:17, John 8:31b-32.36).

Matthew 5:17:
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (note: Torah) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

John 8:31b-32.36:
… 31b “If you hold to my (note: Jesus Christ) teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” …
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Hebrew Servant in the House of his Master

In connection with this, the Lord led me to Exodus 21:1-6, which deals with the principles and law of Hebrew servants.

Exodus 21:1-6:
1 “These are the laws you are to set before them: 2 “If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything.
3 If he comes alone, he is to go free alone; but if he has a wife when he comes, she is to go with him.
4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free.
5 “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’
6 then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.

In this regard, the Holy Spirit emphasized the person who purchased a Hebrew slave and brought him into his house to serve him there.

Since Paul spoke of the fact that not the one who is outwardly circumcised is a Jew, but the one who has been circumcised at heart, we as Gentile believers can recognize a reference to the Hebrew servant (see Romans 2:28-29).

Romans 2:28-29:
28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.
29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

On the basis of this principle it was revealed to me, that there is a connection between Jesus Christ and us as faithful believers who are preciously redeemed with His blood and set into the administration of authority and divine relationship (see Revelation 1:5-6).

Revelation 1:5-6:
… 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

True Discipleship

True disciples are people who not only believe in Christ, but have the heart of a true disciple. This means that these believers do not consider their own life, family and possessions as their own, but as serving potential for Jesus Christ and the Heavenly Father (see Matthew 10:37 i.c.w. Galatians 2:20; Exodus 21:5-6).

Matthew 10:37:
37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. …”

Galatians 2:20:
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Exodus 21:5-6:
5 “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’ 6 then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.

True discipleship means to be fully submitted to the authority of Jesus. This implies an absoluteness of ‘discipleship’ going far beyond any traditional understanding and standard. A disciple of Jesus Christ must be willing to leave everything and anytime behind for the sake of the beginning dominion of God (see Luke 9:57-62; Luke 14:25-27).

=> True disciples of Christ are disciples/students who always learn, grow and search more for the knowledge of their callings and goals as well as implement what Jesus instructs them to do. This way of life is an expression of love towards Jesus Christ (see John 14:23).<= (note: The text set in “=>” is based on a quotation by Rick Joyner).

Jesus Christ made clear which persons He considered His immediate family members. They are the ones who do the will of His Heavenly Father. Jesus made this statement while in the midst of His sermon He had been interrupted by the earthly relatives and by a comment from a person belonging to the crowd He was addressing (see Matthew 12:46-50).

Matthew 12:46-50:
46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.
47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”
48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers.
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

It was the plan of the adversary to prevent Jesus Christ from talking about deep revelatory correlations regarding the deliverance from unclean spirits tormenting people. The adversary did this by first trying to prevent Jesus from preaching by placing people with religious mindsets in His path to challenge Him by demanding a sign from Him. These were the scribes and Pharisees.

Jesus revealed to them their heart attitude instead and referred to signs through the life of the prophet Jonah and that of the Queen of Sheba as already existing. Furthermore, Jesus drew attention to the presence of His coming victory on the cross, His resurrection and His greatness of wisdom (see Matthew 12:38-42).

Matthew 12:38-42:
38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here.
42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.

After Jesus spoke of his triumph and the wisdom bestowed upon Him by His Heavenly Father, He spoke of the actions of an unclean spirit and of the man after his deliverance. Jesus referred in this context to the necessity of the inner filling of a delivered person with the presence of God (see Matthew 12:43-45).

Matthew 12:43-45:
43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it.
44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.
45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

And exactly after these revelations the adversary attacked again by interrupting Jesus in His speech, by making some of His relatives appear, as mentioned before, who wanted to talk to Him.

This situation is an indication of the attack of the adversary by the influence of ‘familiarity’. If the enemy cannot stop the flow of revelatory truth by the influence of the religious spirit, he will try to do it with familiarity.

What is “familiarity”?

=> Originally a spiritual term that defines the breeding ground of contempt. From this perspective, it deliberately spawns disrespect and rebellion. Familiarity has its roots in the familiar spirit – the old Greek Pytho spirit and the ancient work of Satan’s ancestral spirit network in human genealogy – their family lines.
Familiarity is the perverse extreme of friendship and relationship that seeks to promote the undeserving and diminish authority. Familiarity operates with the attending forces of slander, gossip, abuse, slight, neglect, criticism, or judging. Attending is an original Latin form of the word familiarity.
These are known weapons in the arsenal of Satan. Prophetically, familiarity may be seen as the calculated onslaught of Satan taking place in the life of a minister or servant of God. It manifests ultimately as an impending warfare set to wage against the church of the Lord Jesus Christ and all established authority in general. <= (The set text in “=>” is a definition of the word “familiarity” from the Prophet’s Dictionary by Paula A. Price Ph. D.; word number 501, page 212)

This familiarity is a scheming attack set by the adversary to undermine the release of the wisdom and revelation of the Son of God with the aim of preventing it.

Therefore, it is important to stop this influence in its beginnings by not allowing oneself to be distracted from one's goal of speaking the revelatory truth which the Holy Spirit reveals and to consequently live in discipleship.

Following Jesus and Servant-hood

The sincere following of Jesus is a healthy form of “slavery” (note: in servant-hood), which has its seat in the sonship of Jesus and is connected to the tender yoke that leads to inner rest (see Matthew 11:29-30).

Matthew 11:29-30:
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The Time of Spiritual Testing

We cannot avoid being tested by the Spirit of God at different times as to whether we are really serious about our relationship with Jesus Christ.

It is similar with the Hebrew servant of Exodus 21 and the disciples whom Jesus, after speaking about His flesh and blood, asked if they would also go away, which they denied, because they recognized Christ by Peter's statement as the Holy One of God (see John 6:55-56.60.66-69).

John 6:55-56.60.66-69:
55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. …
60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?” …
66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

Through Peter's statement the disciples of Jesus decided in some way to remain in the “house of their Master” and thus continued to be part of His family in order to reveal Jesus Christ as the door leading to the presence of the Heavenly Father (see Exodus 21:5-6 i.c.w. John 10:9).

Exodus 21:5-6:
5 “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’ 6 then his master must take him before the judges. He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.

John 10:9:
9 I am the gate (note: door); whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

It is the blood of the Lamb that is connected to the "door" and guarantees divine protection and freedom for His people into the God given promise (see Exodus 12:23 i.c.w. Galatians 5:1).

Exodus 12:23:
23 When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down.

Galatians 5:1a:
1a It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. …

It is essential to clearly note that each individual human being has a free will to decide for something or against something.

However, each individual must be aware that the decisions made have consequences. Everything in life has consequences. Ultimately we decide by our decision in which house we want to live (see Galatians 6:7-8).

Galatians 6:7-8:
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Amen and Amen.

In His Wisdom,

Daniel Glimm

For every problem God has a hope solution. Even in our Last Days Battle with the Jezebel spirit, the Holy Spirit is ready to anoint godly leaders and consecrated Believers with His grace and power to overthrow and displace every spirit of wickedness in Jesus name! Remember, every mess is an opportunity for God's next miracle. So let it be in our day and in our families, cities and nations.

Major Characteristics of the Jezebel Spirit

The following is a brief review of 10 significant characteristics of the Jezebel spirit to lay a foundation on which to build. In Scripture, 1 Kings 17-19 gives the primary historical setting of Queen Jezebel's reign in Israel and her demonic schemes to control everyone in her sphere of influence.

1. Jezebel's ultimate goal is always control.
2. The Jezebel spirit attacks, dominates or manipulates those in authority.
3. The Jezebel influence causes fear, flight and discouragement.
4. People under Jezebel's influence tend to be natural leaders, although often operating covertly.
5. People under Jezebel's influence are often insecure and wounded.
6. The Jezebel Spirit functions subtlety and deceptively.
7. This dark Jezebel spirit promotes pride, independence and rebellion.
8. The abdication of an Ahab empowers a Jezebel spirit to operate.
9. Jezebel is usually in alignment with a religious spirit.
10. The families of people under Jezebel's influence are often dysfunctional and out of order.

The Problem: King Ahab and His Passive Nature

Lessons from 1 Kings 19:1-2:
Now Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, 'So may the gods do to me and even more, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.’”

The abdicating nature of Ahab empowers Jezebel. She resists and opposes true godly authority and desires to control and exercise power over everyone. She sets herself up against the “Elijahs” in particular. The "Elijah spirit" of the end times will stir up and expose both the passivity of Ahab and the control of Jezebel.

Lessons from 1 Kings 21:8-10:
So she wrote letters in Ahab's name and sealed them with his seal, and sent letters to the elders and to the nobles who were living with Naboth in his city. Now she wrote in the letters, saying, 'Proclaim a fast and seat Naboth at the head of the people; and seat two worthless men before him, and let them testify against him, saying, "You cursed God and the king." Then take him out and stone him to death.’”

Jezebel usurps her husband's or her leader's authority and often acts in their name. She manipulates and controls leadership and attempts to fill the Ahab vacuum with power plays, lies and even religious works. She uses the vacated platform of Ahab to accuse others of what she has done.

Lessons from 1 Kings 21:25-26:
Surely there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do evil in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife incited him. He acted very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom the LORD cast out before the sons of Israel.”

Ahab gave in to the seductive witchcraft and behaved in the vilest of manner by going after idols. Jezebel urged her husband to do all kinds of evil.

Lessons from 2 Kings 9:7-10:
“’You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel. For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and I will cut off from Ahab every male person both bond and free in Israel. I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah. The dogs shall eat Jezebel in the territory of Jezreel, and none shall bury her.’ Then he opened the door and fled.”

Ahab's passivity emboldens the assertive nature of Jezebel. This demonic spirit destroys families. The end result was that both family lineages were cut off. Eventually the blood shed of God's true servants was avenged.

Lessons from Revelation 2:18-20:
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze, says this: ‘I know your deeds, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first. But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.’”

Jezebel claims to be inspired and to have a word from the Lord. Jezebel not only neuters prophets but also sets up a false prophetic anointing in its place. Ultimately, the full manifestation of the Jezebel spirit will include multiple forms of sexual perversion and immorality. A warning is given for us not to tolerate this false Jezebel spirit even in the midst of good deeds and acts of service.

The Solution: King Jehu and His Warrior Anointing

Insight from 2 Kings 9:7-10:
“’You [Jehu] shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and I will cut off from Ahab every male person both bond and free in Israel. I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah. The dogs shall eat Jezebel in the territory of Jezreel, and none shall bury her.' Then he opened the door and fled.” (emphasis mine)

Jezebel is empowered by Ahab's passivity. But in the midst of this, the Lord always has a solution. In the heat of the battle, Jehu, who is anointed as one of the three successors of Elijah, is called to strike down Jezebel and Ahab's entire lineage, legacy and household.

Insight from 2 Kings 9:22:
When Joram saw Jehu, he said, ‘Is it peace, Jehu?’ And he answered, 'What peace, so long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?’”

Jehu, whose name means, “Yahweh is God”, discerns the roots: witchcraft and idolatry. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and arrogance (stubbornness, insubordination) is as iniquity and idolatry (see 1 Samuel 15:23). Jehu not only discerns the roots, he does not partake of the false appeasement by which Jezebel operated.

Insight from 2 Kings 9:30-31:
When Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it, and she painted her eyes and adorned her head and looked out the window. As Jehu entered the gate, she said, 'Is it well, Zimri, your master's murderer?’”

Jezebel uses seduction and sexual manipulation and payoffs to control men. When that does not work, she uses shame, scorn and arrogance.

Insight from 2 Kings 9:32-33:
Then he lifted up his face to the window and said, ‘Who is on my side? Who?’ And two or three officials looked down at him. He said, ‘Throw her down.’ So they threw her down, and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses, and he trampled her under foot.”

Jehu confronts without fear, as he knows his sphere of authority. Jezebel was not conquered by Elijah but by the kingly anointing of the next generation under Jehu.

Insight from 2 Kings 9:34-37:
When he came in, he ate and drank; and he said, ‘See now to this cursed woman and bury her, for she is a king's daughter.’ They went to bury her, but they found nothing more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands. Therefore they returned and told him. And he said, 'This is the word of the LORD, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, “In the property of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel; and the corpse of Jezebel will be as dung on the face of the field in the property of Jezreel, so they cannot say, 'This is Jezebel.’”’”

Jehu operates under a fierce warrior anointing. Jezebel's destruction was so complete that she was unrecognizable.

Insight from Revelation 2:24-28:
But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of satan, as they call them – I place no other burden on you. Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come. He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, TO HIM I WILL GIVE AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS; AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father; and I will give him the morning star.”

What is ultimately at stake is the authority and rulership of the nations in God's stead. Overthrowing Jezebel aids in spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ into the entire world. There is a lavish reward waiting for those who partake in this Kingdom advancement.

3 Keys to Overcoming the Jezebel Spirit

1. The Key of the Elijah Transfer.

When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you.’ And Elisha said, ‘Please, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.’ He said, ‘You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.’ As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to Heaven. Elisha saw it and cried out, ‘My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!’ And he saw Elijah no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.” (2 Kings 2:9-12)

After surrendering to the call, spending years serving and passing many tests, Elisha became the recipient of the transfer of Elijah's mantle to the next generation. Elisha asked for and received a double portion of the anointing that rested upon Elijah.

Why did Elisha ask for a double portion? Why did he twice declare, “My father, my father?” Perhaps it would take a double revelation of fatherhood to combat the forces of evil in the next generation. In every generation there are distinct keys for overcoming the powers of evil.

2. The Key of the Kingly Anointing.

The LORD said to him, ‘Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and when you have arrived, you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram; and Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. It shall come about, the one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death.’” (1 Kings 19:15-17)

Not only did Elisha receive a double portion of the mantle that rested upon Elijah, but by careful observation we find there were three who were chosen to follow in the footsteps of their father Elijah: Hazael, Jehu and Elisha. Note that two of the three were anointed to be kings and only one was set a part as a prophet. Jehu, king over Israel, was the one appointed to overthrow Jezebel's palatial reign. A key is revealed here concerning the kingly anointing of ruling and reigning in Christ Jesus.

3. The Key of the Joining of the Generations.

Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.” (Malachi 4:5-6)

We must call forth the truths of Malachi 4:5-6 to win this end time battle of the ages. The spirit of Elijah results in joining the generations – where hearts are turned to the Lord and to one another in cooperation. The spirit of Elijah brings restoration where evil has temporarily spread division and strife. But this, too, is subject to change!

Breaking the Chains of Bondage

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.” (Luke 4:18-19 NIV)

It is vital to remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. We must cloth ourselves in the Spirit of Christ and become part of the solution, declaring that the favorable year of the Lord has come bringing freedom for the prisoners and all who are oppressed.

A Declaration of Freedom!

Father, in the powerful name of Jesus, I thank You for revealing this spiritual reality to me. I come to Your throne of grace asking You to forgive me for tolerating the spirit of Jezebel and letting myself be controlled by a stronghold other than Your Holy Spirit. I ask that You empower me with the anointing like Jehu to displace this destructive entity. I receive Heaven's hope solution for this demonic dilemma in mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen!

Setting the Captives Free,

Dr. James W. Goll

God longs for us, as His kingdom people, to walk on His ways and cultivate His high thoughts in us. This allows us to receive blessings from Him in order to become what He has prepared for us (see Isaiah 55:8-9 i.c.w. 1 Corinthians 2:9).

Isaiah 55:8-9:
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

1 Corinthians 2:9:
9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” – the things God has prepared for those who love him – …

In this regard, it is important that we progress and focus on the promises of God, which are connected with increase, abundance and prosperity (note: in the form of multifaceted wealth in spirit, soul and body).

If we do not constantly renew our minds and adopt a mindset to reach that fullness of God, we can be captured in old mindsets and not progress in God's cycle of blessing (see Romans 12:2 i.c.w. Ephesians 4:23).

Romans 12:2:
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23:
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; …

That's why we should:
  • go beyond present levels of festivities and religious rituals (note: Leaving these levels means celebrating the biblical feasts according to the fulfilled work of salvation of Jesus; see Matthew 5:17);
  • break through the path of “poverty mindset” and enter into a thought pattern of “harvest multiplication”; (note: Here it is important to know that poverty has a voice that says that God is incapable.)
  • go beyond debt mentality and walk in the awareness that the Lord delivers to achieve His goals with everyone within His people.
Poverty Creates an Atmosphere!

It is the spirit of poverty that is destined by Satan to surround the sphere of authority of the saints to create lack. Whatever the intensity and nature of this Spirit's attempt is to influence the lives of saints, it is important to be aware that the atmosphere of poverty must be filled with the atmosphere of blessing and glory of heaven, in order to displace poverty.

It was, for example, Noah who found favor in the eyes of God, so that heaven and earth were rearranged in the days of his life (see Genesis 6:8).

Genesis 6:8:
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah's life shows us that we can find favor with God, so that heaven influences our atmosphere and thus poverty is defeated. The result is that we see God's glory in our lives and are able to walk in it.

=> The walk in the glory of God includes life in the power and glory of God, which testify to His favor and grace. This is about the glory of the Heavenly Father, His prestige, His power and His blessing.
The glory given by the Father has the purpose that we as sons of God be made or established as important persons “with weight” in the spiritual realm.
His glory (note: presence of the Father) automatically brings an increase in every area, because earthly wealth and prosperity have their seat in the spiritual world.
Furthermore, God's glory is an automatic storage place of the anointing. <= (note: The text set in “=>” is based on an explanation from the “Prophet's Dictionary” by Paula A. Price, Ph. D.; page 237.)

Therefore it is essential that the body of Christ is experiencing restoration in the area of provision! This restoration is always connected with multiplication, so that the concerned believers undo their debts and past financial defeats in life.

It is necessary to break the demonic influence where the spirit of poverty is present in the generational bloodline of believers and where it tries to keep the economy of believers captive so that they are unable to enter into the fullness of God's predestined prosperity.

It is the Lord who breaks the beggar mentality in His people and turns them into people of faith (see Acts 3:2-8).

Acts 3:2-8:
2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!”
5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.
8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

This means that the identity of His people will change from a beggar to a king!

It is important that we ask the Holy Spirit to reveal poverty, and also to reveal the way and strategy of poverty in order to stop this influence of darkness in our lives.

The Anointing of the Tribe of Issachar

The anointing of the tribe of Issachar can help us, which is connected with the discernment of the times/seasons and reveals how and when we can invest into the kingdom of God (see 1 Chronicles 12:32).

1 Chronicles 12:32:
… 32 from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do – 200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command; …

=> In short, the sons of Issachar know how to keep the door of time open in this way so that the things that are being revealed can bee seen and be caused to manifest. It is about the invasion of eternity into time. This is what the Bible talks about when it says, “in the fullness of time” or “on the Lord’s day.” (see Luke 9:51; Mark 1:15; Galatians 4:4; Revelation 1:10)

Luke 9:51:
51 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

Mark 1:15:
15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Galatians 4:4 (Jewish New Testament):
… 4 but when the appointed time arrived, God sent forth his Son. He was born from a woman, born into a culture in which legalistic perversion of the Torah was the norm, …

Revelation 1:10:
10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, …

It were the tribes of Issachar and Zebulon who were called to bring in the riches as to help to offer righteous sacrifices from a place of vision (see Deuteronomy 33:18-19).

Deuteronomy 33:18-19:
18 About Zebulun he said: “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out (note: international), and you, Issachar, in your tents (note: regional).
19 They will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer the sacrifices of the righteous; they will feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures hidden in the sand.”

As a son, Issaschar received the blessing from his father Jacob to be a donkey with a strong skeleton capable of recognizing the place of rest and carrying burdens (see Genesis 49:14-15).

Genesis 49:14-15:
14 “Issachar is a rawboned (note: strong) donkey lying down among the sheep pens.
15 When he sees how good is his resting place and how pleasant is his land, he will bend his shoulder to the burden and submit to forced labor.

Thus Issaschar is able to know the times and the place of God's rest, in order to act out of the glory of God (note: the tent; see Deuteronomy 33:18 i.c.w. Exodus 40:34-35) and to guide the people of God through the phase of transition with a right biblical mindset of prosperity (note: the economy of the kingdom).

Such a transition of the renewing of the mind is emphasized by the scripture from Matthew 21:1-11, where in the metaphorical sense the “donkey Issachar” entered into a new economic thinking of the kingdom of God.

The reason is that through the apostolic instruction of the Son of God, the “donkey” went from the area of the village into the momentum of the eternal kingship of Jesus Christ and together with Him finally moved to the eternal capital city Jerusalem.

It should be noted here that a city has more inhabitants than a village and a greater economic capacity (see Matthew 21:1-2.4-7.10).

Matthew 21:1-2.4-7.10:
1 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. …
4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet (see Zechariah 9:9): 5 “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.
7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. …
10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

It is God's intention that we listen to the sons of Issachar in order to proceed with a better understanding of the economy of His kingdom and enter into a larger economy for ourselves.

Therefore it is crucial to have the willingness to leave a limited understanding of the economy of the kingdom behind (note: giving without knowing/respecting the biblical times and seasons of God) when Jesus Christ as eternal king calls to a greater realm of His kingdom economy (note: extravagant giving by knowing the times and seasons of God).

The Gold and Kingdom Ministry

It is important to acknowledge that to do kingdom ministry money is important. We cannot do it without “gold”.

This is evident by the fact that God secured the economy within the garden of Eden through the main river with its four rivers, where the first river Pishon was linked to pure gold, aromatic resin and onyx gemstones (see Genesis 2:11-12).

Genesis 2:11-12:
11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold.
12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)

Also Jesus’ beginning ministry on earth was linked to gold and aromatic resin that was given by the Magi (see Matthew 2:10-11).

Matthew 2:10-11:
10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.
11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Later Jesus’ ministry got provided among other things by prominent women (see Luke 8:2-3).

Luke 8:2-3:
… 2 and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; 3 Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others.

Even after the ascension of Jesus, the ministry of the apostles was supported by wealthy and prominent people (see Acts 4:34-37 i.c.w. Acts 17:12)

Acts 4:34-37:
… 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.

Acts 17:12:
12 As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.

These biblical scriptures clarify that wealth is going to be important for the next move of God.

The Call of Issachar and Heavenly Investing

Issachar calls the people to the mountain in order to make sacrifices. These sacrifices are a heavenly trade in the eyes of God which is done by the spirit without an earthly view investing by emotion.
Issachar calls the people to trade at a different and higher level.

Trading at a higher level means not giving based on emotions, but giving in the way Abraham did.
He was willing to give his son out of obedience and therefore received from God a ram instead (see Genesis 22:1-2.9-13).

Genesis 22:1-2.9-13:
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love – Isaac – and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” …
9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.
10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
11 But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.

This higher realm of sacrifice, is the level where saints from the position as kings (note: by the blood of the Lamb; see Revelation 1:5-6) give their investment before God as a sacrifice. To “trade” at a higher level means to invest with the right emotional attachment which is by obedience as an expression of love towards God (see John 14:23 i.c.w. Matthew 6:24).

John 14:23:
23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Matthew 6:24:
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money (note: Mammon => the love of money).

Giving the right sacrifice/investment is based on the understanding of times and seasons like Issachar in order to create eternal “wealth” in accordance to God’s will (see Matthew 6:19-21).

Matthew 6:19-21:
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

God commanded Israel among other things to sacrifice during the New Moon (note. Rosh Chodesh; see Numbers 28:11-15) and to sacrifice specifically when the star systems were in particular constellations (note: linked to the biblical feasts – Passover/Spring => Aries/the ram (lamb) = sacrifice/love of the Father, Shavuot – Summer => Gemini (2 tablets/Torah given on Sinai) = standard/order of God/ God’s value system, Sukkot – Autumn => Libra (the scales) = justice and righteousness of God) because it is the way of creating a capacity to align with what is coming and being transferred to the earth. <=

The Book of the Prophet Malachi

The book of Malachi is one of the books of transition that we can find in the Bible. When this book was written, the people of God became possessed.

This form of possession involves being excessively concerned with trying to change something, but never really experiencing the fruit of change. It focuses on one aspect of a different example, but never recognizes the whole form. Such a state of obsession is caused by religious spirits.

In one way or another, at the time of Malachi, people had a form of piety, but they had lost the real understanding of God's heart. It is the heart of God that is closely linked to the mentality of giving and servant-hood, because giving is linked to worship (see John 3:16 i.c.w. Luke 6:38; Matthew 23:11).

John 3:16:
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Luke 6:38:
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Matthew 23:11:
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.

Accordingly, it is important to know that Jesus Christ, the son of righteousness, cannot rise in us if we are not willing to give our part to God.
If we don't give according to the biblical standard, then we don't truly worship God, the Father. This means that we cannot get into our new portion of promise if we rob Him of His portion (see Malachi 3:8).

Malachi 3:8:
8 Is it right for a man to deceive God as you deceive me? But you say, “With what do we deceive you? With the tithe and the offering! …”

God gave us His best with His Son Jesus Christ and therefore we should respond to Him and give Him our best with gratitude.

This message should encourage us to enter into a new understanding of the dimension of giving.

There are five different ways of giving, as follows:

1. First fruits. Consider your given blessing and give a part to the Lord. Look at the best part you can give Him. In this context, celebrate the beginning of the biblical months (note: Rosh Chodesh; see Numbers 28:11-15).

2. The tithe. The tithe was an established covenant practice in the ‘Old Covenant’. In the ‘New Covenant’ Jesus Christ Himself used the concept of the tithe to show people where the treasure of their heart was. He turned to the Pharisees and said that the tithe was the least they could do and that they would do it according to the law. However, they lacked most righteousness and grace (see Matthew 23:23).

3. Alms. Every saint should help those who are less privileged. If you invest with alms, it is guaranteed that you will get help when you are in need (see Matthew 6:3-4).

4. Special and memorial sacrifices. This kind of investment expresses the remembrance to the Lord because of the good that God has done to you in the past. It is an expression of the giver to the Lord, that he hasn’t been forgotten by God (see Psalm 103:2). The investment of the gift can be based on principles and personal experiences, which are confirmed, for example, in a sermon, in order to express one's gratitude to God.

5. The last form of giving is the generous/extravagant giving Paul speaks of.

In 2 Corinthians 9:6-11, Paul says in an analogously sense, “Here’s my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest. Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving – all because God loves hilarious generosity! Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything – every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in him.:

Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, his kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten. This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First He supplies every need, plus more. Then He multiplies the seed, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow. You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you give generously on every occasion, for when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.”

Amen and Amen.
